"So? You're still young." Ranu replied, leaping a low cut, landing on the sword and being knocked sideways as the Uruk lifted the sword, "Damnit." he cursed, trying to recover his flair by spinning the sword to kill another Uruk. Tugigng his sword out, he lept another low blow, and thrust forwards, stabbing an Uruk in the chest.

"We all pray that," Ranu snapped back, doing a vicious upperslash on an Uruk's face, and glancing at his companion, "But you'll always end up screaming, crying and dying, under a knife of a healer. They kill more than the enemy."

As he spun, Ranu felt a fist smash into his face. As he staggered, he felt another fist hit him. As he dropped to a knee, his sword lay beside him. He picked it up shakingly, then fell sideways as a Uruk kicked him, while his fellows covered him from the woman. "Well well we-" he stopped talking as his lung suddenly flamed up. I do so love knowing a little magic Ranu thought as he stood back up, ignoring the Uruk, who fell to his knees, then sideways, clutching his heart. Using the falling Uruk as a jump stand, Ranu lept at a Uruk, smashing into him feet first. Spinning the sword point down, he slammed the sword into the creatures face, he swiftly looked around, there was still so many. "We may have to leave very soon," he said, trying to keep his voice calm, "Because if these Uruk's flee, they'll send out the Wrargs."

Elrothiel shook her head slightly. "Thank you, but it's alright. I don't know where he is and it could be days before I find him if I start moving. At least if that woman returns to where he is, he knows roughly where I am if he needs help quickly." She smiled wryly. "The trouble is that we're all too independent so do not really know where the others are." She looked at Van again. "It's lucky you found us when you did." She said frankly, "I don't think he'd have lasted another night, even if I was here as well." She smiled at the healer. "I'd like it if you stayed. I don't really enjoy travelling by myself that much anymore. I'm Elrothiel by the way."

Ranu ducked a swipe at his throat, and cursed as he felt a shield smash into his back. He staggered painfully into a tree, and fell sideways, just as a sword swept where he'd just been. Sitting up, Ranu moved between the Uruk's and the horse. "I'll cover you, then join you to the south." He called, sweeping the sword at a Uruk fiercely, to drive it back and clear a path for Amara.

"How are you going to leave?" She called as she took her chance to hop on the horse. She gallopped away before he had a chance to reply.

Come on, come on!" She urged her horse. She finnally got fed up with the mustange and hoped off. Amara then dashed into flight, covering more ground. She passed a little farm, then another. Then the population started growing, and houses and buildings soon replaced all the farms and huts. She had no idea what city this was, but she went straite to the battlements, hoping to find someone in charge. With a bit of luck, she found a 'leader' and got about 2 score of men armed to help Ranu.

Van grunted in reply. He had taken a longer time to recover than the healer thought, mainly becasue she never relized what his decent was. Her magic, although not strong to most people, had made him pass out from the intense burning. Van could tell his injuries were healed, but all his muscles were completely numb from the healing.
