A month passed by with Silver as the new Owl of Delta. He did as they said, putting on the perfect show of being an obedient follower of the Owls. He did do his own thing when he could but mostly stayed within lines of what they wanted. He also kept up with his rebel group and now had better intel on their targets but knew they had to proceed cautiously.
As he was head of Delta, Leaf had taken over for the head of the small group of now three. He noticed that Fire was out more often after her recovery. Even though after her recovery she did still have scars on her back and some burns on her body from that fate changing night. Tool stayed mostly in the base and worked to make sure any items they used was up to some level of quality. Leaf did still his work above and below ground for money,
During this time Fire had found herself a new game and a new plaything to mess with: Creed. She was aware, after the first few times of dodging his traps of trying to ensnare her or drug her, she now saw this as a fun little game of cat and mouse. So far, she was winning and knew it. It did not displease her as she managed to get some beautiful free items and she got to leave mocking ones in return for the trade off.
No one had linked her to the death of Dragon, thankfully she was glad. She was happy about that and in this recent time frame of current, she was on the roof of a building, looking down and smirked. "Well now, he has some money." She commented, grinning. "Maybe I should give the poor old man a hint at who I am.....not like he's smart enough to figure it out." She giggled and moved back, jumping down to land low.
Fire stood up quickly and flipped backwards, pulling out of her cloak a statue she had made crudely of an octopus pulling one eye down with one of its legs and a painted on mouth with its tongue sticking out. She made her way down another street and looked at the sitting idle piece. She smirked as she advanced calmly, whistling as she moved closer calmly.
She'd figured out what to watch for involving his traps and was always pushing him to find a way to catch her, not like she thought he actually could. She thought over some then jumped as a needle was thrown out, landing and took another step then leap, using her shoes on one wall then the next as she went back and forth.
Fire landed with a flip, racing up and quickly swapped the two items. Her heart jumped a bit into her throat as she did this when suddenly a metal clamp shot out of the shadows at her. She moved her arm back last moment, losing some skin to the clamp with a bit of her sleeve and cloak. She hissed and breathed out ice onto her nicked arm, unaware of the camera's set up to capture her image or if it could capture her breathing out ice onto her skin.
She did this while in motion so if the shutter was fast enough the image would be clear but if not then the image would be blurred of her using the ice part of her magic. Depending on the angle as well would determine if he would see any of the burns on her under the cloak on her arm. On her hip under the cloak was her daggers, one, if the camera was fast enough, would show the signs of being stained by blood and a good amount of it. If it was not fast enough then it wouldn't be very clear.
Fire made her way from the scene, locating herself a view to watch Creeds reaction when he would see her little gift. She when would have herself atop a building to hear the string of curses she found so funny. She laid back and looked over her prize, a costly gear set with added chips and gems known for energy storing. Her mind was already working out how much juice she could give her daggers.
She was taking a risk this time, staying closer to the scene as she was wanting that adrenaline. Plus she felt very confident he was not going to see nor catch her. Who could ever catch a magic user with having their own magic or something? she thought with a grin, taking the different parts out to look at them closer as she waited to hear his cursing.

It didn't take long for the scientist to make his appearance - a small transmitter affixed to one of the motion sensitive cameras informed him of any activation with his traps and as he had little to get on with, he wasted no time in getting to the location and parking up - He hadn't found the time to return Ritzu's bike and seeing as though he hadn't technically received any calling cards, he'd claimed it as 'Borrowed with the intention of returning...eventually'. Pulling up just inside the alleyway where he'd laid his trap, he set the bike to the side and pulled off his helmet and goggles, allowing the latter to hang loosely around his neck as he pulled off a pair of leather gloves and drew some vinyl gloves from a pocket in his coat. "Let's see what you've left me this time...you little..." He held his breath for a moment, reminding himself that screaming insults at the top of his voice would draw unnecessary attention - even though the district was rarely traversed. Exhaling, he stepped towards the trap, his left eye twitching at the Octopus that now stared back at him mockingly... "...That little witch." he scowled, picking up the statue and twisting round as though to launch it...Then pausing. "She has some talent..." he shoved it into his saddlebag before turning back to the trap. "Hmm...darn." he breathed a sigh as he picked up the clamp arm which had snapped upon connecting with Fire's sleeve, then his eyes widened as he noted a piece of cloth trapped between its jaws, "Oh? Oh!" there was excitement in his voice and he reached into his pouch for a sample kit, removing the cloth before claiming the real prize - skin samples, regardless of size would still hail some DNA... This was a great find! He carefully scraped the sample into a small sealed test tube, the cloth would hold its own as well, he placed this in a second bag. At the time, he seemed oblivious to anything around him, he tinkered away at the metallic monstrosity, removing the hidden camera - resiting hitting playback and putting it in his saddlebag. Once he was done, he would step back, ensuring everything was secure in his bag before turning to collect a final camera. "...Just a quick peek...no." shaking his head, he knew to resist but hit playback anyway watching as an array of semi-blurred images flickered past the screen... "...You're getting over confident my dear," he grinned as his eyes settled upon a half-shot image showing the lower part of a face with what looked like mist forming on its lips... "This could be it," the image wasn't exactly the crowning piece, but he hoped his words might just get his subject thinking - provided she was nearby, "I'll have you soon enough," feeling positive, he turned, stuffing the camera into his bag before returning to collect his bike. ~*~*~ His eyes danced across each and every flickering face as the Hunter weaved his way through the crowd, his target was close... the catch point had been set for the nightclub, but the male had yet to make his presence known and the night was passing swiftly. Eventually, an arm of glittering bangles caught his attention from across the room and the Hunter advanced, his eyes locking with that of his target before he extended an arm. Gripping the male like a scolding parent, he marched him into the nearest corridor and pushed him up against the wall. "You have a lot to answer for." he scowled, both hands clutching the male's jacket as he glared into his eyes. "Listen mate, I ain't got no clue what you're grinching about," he placed his hands against Cyrus's chest and attempted to push him back, but the Hunter stayed firm. There was a moment's silence, then the guy caved, "Look, I didn't know the source was naff, I'll make it up to yah, I've got cash and everthing!""The cash helps." Cyrus pocketed what was offered, but kept a hand on the male's jacket, "But it's the information I want.""And I'll get it for you!" he winced as something dug into his side, "Look! He's not easy to find! But I'll do what I can!" the ache abated and the male exhaled a sigh as Cyrus let him go, "Jeez... You damn soldier types are all the same." he turned away, making a gesture with his hands in the air as he started to walk, "All brute force and damn ignorance..." he disappeared back into the crowd and Cyrus turned, heading for the exit. ~*~*~ Keen eyes watched from the shadows as the group gathered in a seemingly abandoned part of the city, three out of the four glanced around, listening intently for anyone approaching, before the fourth made an exchange with a fifth individual hidden just out of sight... At the rustling of litter caught in the wind, one of the three watchers stiffened before nudging his closest comrade. Maliciously glowing eyes regarded them from across the alleyway - it was only lit by a very dim streetlight, so the animosity in the glare forced the men to their weapons. The sound of heavy footfalls resounded around them followed by the lighter sounds of scratching at the ground as smaller shapes skittered amongst the shadows... Then they came like a swirl, squealing, screeching, running in a wide circle around the feet of the men - like rats, the shadows flitted this way and that, maintaining their circular motion around the group whilst growing ever closer. By this time, the creature had emerged into view - Like a Lion, the thick fur on its shoulders stood out around the glowing red orbs, then, without warning, its maw opened wide, letting out an ear shattering roar which sent the men scrambling for the end of the alleyway. With the sound like a pack of Hyenas, laughter followed the group as the beast - along with its swarm of rats - gave pursuit. A single individual emerged from the shadows, following the swarm towards the end of the alleyway before coming to a halt. Only once he was certain the coast was clear, did he summon the rest of his gang forward. The cloaked group quickly rushed into the centre gathering up the items dropped during the exchange before dispersing back into the darkness. Only once they had gone did the individual turn back towards the centre of the alley, calmly removing and shouldering his black jacket before striding towards the opposite exit.

Fire felt one ear twitch as she heard him and she grinned, trying not to snicker through a hand as she pocketed the item. "Not my fault you're a stupid old coot who can't capture a simple girl." She commented, having heard him picking up things so had thought he left as she took pride while standing in his comment about her talent. "Glad to know someone recognizes it. Too bad Silver didn't recognize it enough before he began serving."
She commented not sure if he would or could hear her as she began to speak up, hearing the comment about her 'over confidence' and his words about having her soon enough. She laughed, releasing a snort in her hard laughter that came out a bit louder than she expected. "You? Have me? You are so funny!" she laughed, bending over and held her head with one hand as her arm was across her waist in her hunched position while laughing, her eyes closed.
"Oh, that's so rich. A human without magic claiming he can catch me when all he has to rely on is tech that can't catch me." She laughed harder, moving to look over the edge of the building down at the bike and down at the man, folding her arms, feeling confident she was up too high for him to reach her. "Stupid old fool, he can't catch someone as great as me. Not even Lord Dragon himself could catch me and now they can rest in peace as his soul burns." She hissed coldly, narrowing her eyes on Creed as she watched.
She kept her eyes on him for a few moments before starting to turn and step away from the edge. She then turned, racing towards the gap and as she jumped, she kicked a button, using her boots blasters as a burst, getting to the other side where she curled into a ball, rolling to a stop on the buildings top. This she did right over Creed just to taunt him more as she wanted some fun if he was game, having no idea about his being more than what he looked like on the surface. "Dunno why he keeps trying. He's just going to keep failing."
Fire snickered then laughed again as she stood and dusted herself off. "He really should give up, maybe find himself a good little house wife to take to bed like other men." She purred insultingly while dusting some dirt off the cloak she still wore given to her from Lysin. "All I have left is to find him to confirm he's not dead and I'll be happy." She said softer referring to finding Lysin as she started to walk away, not expecting anything to happen as she simply figured if he tried to come up after her then she'd hear him on the building's ladder.
Leaf having returned below ground after work earlier. He sighed not seeing Fire or her side bags and pressed a button on a control device Silver had left. "Fire, where are you now? Why don't you ever leave a note? Seriously, I know its safer under Silver playing the puppet but still." He sighed frustrated with the young woman.
This brought Fire to stop as she touched her ear hearing him and sighed, proceeding to walk to t he other side of the building's roof. "Look, I don't leave notes because when I want out I go out. Even Silver knew that. Why do you think he kept having to track me down if I was gone too long?" she rolled her eyes, pulling out the prize she got. "I got you and Tool a little gift. I want you to use it to jack up the power of my daggers also," she paused, standing at the edge now and stood with one hip cocked. "Have you found a good way to clean my one blade? I mean, it looks cool but really, it's just annoying and I'd like to not be questioned whose blood that is."
Leaf sighed on his end hearing this and rolled his eyes, pulling up a seat and sat down, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Fire, listen to me, bring your butt back here now if you'd be so kind. And to your blade I have not yet but Tool might have a device in the making that could."
Fire smiled, putting away the prize and folded her arms across her midsection. "Hah, bingo. So mind telling me about what Tool made and how it's going to clean up my weapon exactly? Also I want to head out later, out of town. Have Tool come up with something for me would ya?" she asked starting to step down the ladder that was a alleyway over from where Creed was.
Leaf released a breath. "Please tell me I did not just hear you ask my brother to make you a transport. You know he'd have to make it above ground and even with Silver in power it's not THAT safe to do."
"Oh come on you party pooper, it won't hurt for you to have him make me something in an old garage or something in the dead district." Fire came back with, giving a small pout as she spoke.
"It's not just that. You have any idea what parts he would need to get hold of? Even with our friend in control it's still risky to be doing something that reckless. Seriously, what is wrong with you? Ever since you killed Dragon you've been kind of....almost unbearable. Also, you haven't done anything to retear any of those scars have you?" Leaf asked sternly.
Fire sighed with a heavy over done sigh with a groan. "Yes, mother, I'm being mindful of my back. Dang it, I swear you are more woman than man sometimes, you know? Stop worrying so much. Be glad I do go out and do this. Also be glad there's this stupid old man who thinks he can capture me." she giggled, "he'll never succeed and yet he keeps trying. But if he's got money to burn then I'm happy to take what he puts up for dibs off his hands." She said proudly.
Leaf took a breath and sighed. "You really are getting out of hand. Just don't do something stupid please? Last thing we need is you getting hurt or worse, got it? And why do you need to go out of town? You know the other Owls are still looking for who killed Dragon, right?"
Fire neared the bottom of the ladder, "yea yea I know don't worry. I just need to go see if I can locate him."
"You mean Lysin, don't you? Dang it Fire! He's dead, got it? You know he has to be. No one can live for as long as he would have needed to without notice on their own. Give it up, you won't find him and if you do you may find a corpse and I don't need you mentally scared." Leaf snapped.
Fire frowned, standing on the ground now and tightened her jaw growling. "Well now you need to learn something Leaf, I'm not going to give up! Lysin is alive and I'll find him then rub it in your face that my master lives!" she snapped louder than planned as she pressed her earpiece to turn it off with a huff, folding her arms and began to walk towards the way of the main street, meaning if Creed had moved after her from the shadows then her back would be towards him. She wasn't planning on or thinking Creed would follow or listen in or anything as she moved towards a manhole cover that was nearer to the main street, sighing. "Dang him, how dare he speak to me like that?" she hissed coldly as she closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose with frustration.
Leaf below ground hung up the communications when it had gone dead and he leaned back, rubbing his eyes. "I swear I don't know how Silver was able to lead us with her in the group and keep his sanity." The young man complained with a groan.

The words 'have me' and 'you're so funny' stalled the man in his advance towards the bike, but he just smirked, preparing the vehicle as though he'd heard nothing at all. He had guessed she was watching him again...maybe he could use that to his advantage? The thoughts of taking the extra time to set up a few rooftop cameras next time might get him a few more pictures - he already had a handful of photographs which he had taken the time to cut and apply to a scrapbook which was slowly building up an image of her face...he just needed a few more. Creed was already building a new invention, one that would be as 'simple' as his most recent device, but with a few improvements - this one had given him something he could use for verifying DNA, so his next would replicate the same...if he was lucky, but with the added twist of an extra capture device. He chuckled at the thought of a cage closing around his subject as she recoiled away to avoid being grabbed by the contraption...and if she was able to avoid that...then he would have to perhaps make an appearance of his own. For the time being however, he planned to return back to his lab and add the new photographs to his scrapbook. The sample needed to be run through the system - he didn't doubt it would show up as inconclusive in regards to putting a face to the specimen, but if anything ran similar to the DNA records he had on Richard and Lina, then he would at least have proof that they had conceived an offspring. He lifted his eyes as her silhouette skipped over the rooftop above, this confirmed she had been watching, but he would not shout, not this time. Hopping onto the bike, he gunned the engine and started off back to base. ~*~*~ It had only been three weeks since they'd made it to the city and already Cyrus was out and busying himself with jobs that he felt Tala wasn't capable of joining him on... Although this left the youth with time to himself, it was also terribly boring and he found himself a prisoner to his thoughts... Tonight, he sat on the rooftop of their apartment watching as the rain fell down around the surrounding buildings. After getting in contact with a few connections, the Hunter had found them a place to stay for a reasonable price...the only issue was that payment would need to be maintained or they would end up on the streets...which was why once again, Tala had been left on his own. He wasn't the type to busy himself with cleaning or research, even though he'd taken that up to help pass the time...he wanted to be outside the walls again, exploring, hunting or tracking, building hides...not stuck within a city filled with people who don't know you're there and have little awareness of their general space. Pulling up his hood he rose to his feet, stepping from beneath the tin roof that had sheltered him before leaning over the edge. As usual, there was little to look at, a few people making their way from the local bar, a stray cat challenging a rival for territory... A solitary figure caught his eye and he leant a little further over the barrier to see, watching as the individual made his way down the centre of the road, not caring that he was getting wet. It wasn't necessarily the man himself that had drawn his attention - there seemed to be quite a few strange people in the neighbourhood - but it was what was following at his heel that caught Tala's eye. The small creature looked like any normal cat following a drunkard home, but to Tala, it seemed to radiate a sort of energy that he found more than a little fascinating... The pair came to a stop and the cat sat down to preen, as one would do when animals decide to start cleaning, the youth averted his eyes towards its companion, stiffening as he realised the man was looking straight up at him! Quickly, he retreated back over the edge, taking a moment to convince himself that was not the case before turning to head back inside. "Careful now..." Tala practically walked right into the male, letting out a yelp as he staggered backwards before stumbling over his feet and ending up in a puddle... How could he have gotten up there so quickly?! The youth stared wide eyed before his gaze snapped towards the cat which appeared from nowhere and rubbed itself against the man's shin. "I've not seen your kind before." in the dim light, Tala could see a blaze of red in the man's fringe, he had leant over, fiery orange eyes scrutinizing the youth closely before he offered Tala a hand. "You're not a shader are you?" he smirked as the youth shook his head, staring at the hand a moment before getting to his feet by himself. "I saw you looking..." the guy smiled confidently, "I must ask...what did you see?""...Nothing." Adjusting his hood so it hid his face, Tala moved to step past, pausing before sidestepping as the cat got in his way, "Lemmy doesn't believe you." the male smirked, watching as the dark-furred feline brushed itself against Tala's leg before weaving between the youth's feet and sitting infront of him. "...Leave me alone." Stepping past the cat, Tala made his way towards the door, slipping inside before heading to his room to change from his wet clothes. "You've got a nice place here." The voice made the youth turn; to Tala's surprise, the stranger was now sitting in Cyrus's chair, holding a newspaper by one hand whilst glancing across the front page, "Personally, it could use a little paint..." he rose to his feet, petting the cat as it jumped up onto the table beside him, "...But what can you do under the Tyranny of the Owls?""I don't know how you got in," Tala advanced, towards the main door, pulling it open, "But you need to leave.""That's very welcoming." Brushing his bangs out of his eyes the male clicked his fingers and the cat jumped down and disappeared from view, then with a grin he advanced towards the youth, towering over him and looking deep into his eyes before backing up and walking out of the door, "I've got my eye on you now kiddo," he smirked, casually waving once over his shoulder before walking up the corridor. Tala watched until he'd disappeared before heading back inside and shutting the door before sliding down against the woodwork to the floor. "...Mew?""Gah!" Recoiling from the feline, Tala jumped to his feet before whipping open the door, "Out!" standing in the doorway he pointed out into the corridor. The cat's tail gave a swish, brushing past the youth's leg as it strode out of the door. Only once he was sure they were both gone did Tala shut the door...exhaling a sigh before making his way towards his bedroom to change. Choosing a shirt from a very small pile, he took a moment to glance out of the window at the rain before sliding the garment over his head and returning to the main room where Cyrus was just hanging up his coat. "You alright?" the Hunter lifted his gaze as the youth walked in, watching as Tala silently crossed the room, plucking his jacket off the chair before heading to the door, "I'm going out.""See you in a bit then." Too tired to pursue the youth's reason for leaving, Cyrus headed for the kitchen to fix himself something to eat.

The thought that he was tempting fate by leaving literally moments after turfing the stranger out crossed Tala's mind, but with Cyrus at home now, he knew that the longer he stayed, the less chance he'd have to slip out later...especially if the Hunter had endured a hard day. Making his way down the stairs the you kept his wits about him, he'd seen 'creeps' like this before and knew how they would follow an unsuspecting victim from the shadows... What spooked him most was that the guy could appear from nowhere... Finally reaching the main doorway, he pushed it open and exited out into the street. It was still raining, so his hand lifted to his hood, ensuring it was in place before he left the cover of the building.
Cyrus hadn't told him the name of the city they'd arrived in, but it was no doubt under the control of one of the Owls... It wasn't that different from Delta, but who was he to make a comparison? His best view of a city had been that of Dangu when he'd been led through the streets on his journey to become a slave to the Tigress... He pushed the thought from his mind and crossed the road. Stuffing his hands into his pockets he made his way down the street and away from the safehouse - he wouldn't stray too far as he'd not had the opportunity to explore the city just yet - Just a lap around the block and perhaps a few minutes sitting in the square watching the world pass him by...
He'd barely turned the second corner when the sound of raised voices caught his ear. Naturally he'd keep his distance, but the fact these uniformed men were trying - and failing - to set up what appeared to be a trap intrigued him.
Taking a seat upon a bench beneath a nearby street light, Tala dropped his gaze, allowing his hood to shield much of his face as his eyes drifted towards the men, they seemed to be disagreeing over its placement and perhaps how screamingly obvious it would be to passers by as to what it was...
"I hear they're hunting Lions." The amused voice made Tala flinch and he dropped his gaze to the floor as the stranger appeared on the bench beside him. Once again, he'd neither seen, nor heard the male approach... "They're wasting their time though." Tala suddenly heard the sound of purring and tensed as the black cat pushed its way beneath his arm before taking its place on his lap. "He likes you." the male's orange eyes glinted, then he looked away, "Still can't work out what you are though..."
"I'm human." Tala frowned, finally turning his gaze to glare at the male,
"If you say so." the man shrugged, spreading his arms across the back of the bench as he got comfortable. The pair sat in silence for several minutes, the cat getting quite comfortable on Tala's lap before its ears twitched and it suddenly sat up, turning its attention towards the men as they finally came to a decision and left the trap set. "Wanna go check it out?" the male rose to his feet, stretching before holding out an arm for the cat which leapt up onto his shoulders.
"I don't know you." Tala frowned, his eyes narrowing slightly as the male extended his hand towards him,
"Dante."
"Tala."
"Right, let's go." after the pair had shaken hands, the male strode across the road towards the trap, leaving Tala the option to follow, or leave. The youth hesitated for a moment, then rose to his feet and followed, his eyes scanning the area cautiously. "They don't seriously think they can catch a lion in this thing?" the male gave the metal bars a kick, then looked back at Tala who had maintained a safe distance, "What's wrong?"
"Were you telling the truth about the lions?" he tilted his head, wondering if this guy was just another fablespinner trying to get him to drop his guard,
"Sort of..." Dante shrugged, "To be honest, I've no idea why they set it up here, but perhaps it's got something to do with all the robberies that have been happening lately?"
Being stuck inside for the majority if the time since they'd arrived, Tala heard little of what went on in the city but he wasn't overly surprised when Dante mentioned robberies... "I wouldn't know..." he turned his head away with the plan to walk away that was until he spotted something on the side of the cage. He crouched down to inspect this, drawing his hand back as the black cat squeezed past him, brushing itself up against his leg and forcing the youth to stand before he was knocked off balance.
"Here comes trouble..." Hearing Dante's voice, Tala turned to see four guards advancing from a side street, the male now faced them looking as calm and casual as when they'd first met. The cat gave a 'meow' and pawed Tala's leg before scampering into a nearby alleyway, "He wants you to follow," the male glanced over his shoulder at the youth before taking a step towards the men who slowed to a walk. "Alright Fellas?" he put his right hand in his pocket before extending his left towards the cage, "We're not trying to emulate Lord Wolf's Festival of the Hunt are we?"
"The council would never allow something that dangerous to be held in this city." one of the guards frowned, "Now step away unless you wanna become the bait."
"So you are hunting something?" Dante smirked, leaning up against the metal, "So what is it? Lions? Tigers? Bears?"
"That's none of your business. Now move along." the man advanced, his arms reaching out to push the male away but Dante stepped back of his own accord, holding his hands up,
"Now hold on a minute, I'm only curious." he ran a hand along the metal, "...Oops." his eyes flicked to the small handle that had snapped off in his grip, then he attempted to put it back...
"That's council property!" the third guard reached forward, "We weren't joking about using you as bait!" he attempted to grab the male, but Dante skipped nimbly backwards before smirking,
"So quick to accuse...You can't blame me because your tech is faulty!"
Tala had made it to the back of the alleyway where the path now split West to East, ironically with no apparent way forward it was now that the cat seemed to have disappeared... It was only when he began considering turning back that he heard something, lifting his eyes he spotted the feline on the wall above him, he was about to make a comment when something rushed past him from the left route. He turned to see, but was buffered by something rushing in from the right - both shadows flitted back the way he'd come, then a third - this one taking human shape momentarily - leapt over the cat and landed in the alleyway just infront of him.
Tala stood wide eyed, tilting his head as the man smirked back at him before running towards the mouth of the alley. He was curious now and moved to follow, but the cat had appeared by his side again, pawing his leg before moving to lead the way down the right alleyway. Reluctantly, he followed, wondering what the stranger was up to...

Fire made her way across, pausing to look around and listen. She listened to the sound of the motorcycle start leave. She waited until it was a good ways away to where she barely heard it before sliding over the manhole cover. She jumped down while sliding it back into place.
Fire made her way back to the hideout and pulled out the prize and placed it on the table. "Here we are, an awesome prize." She bragged.
Leaf came over and looked at it as he picked it up and glanced at her frosty wrist. "You are getting careless again I see." He commented not amused or impressed.
"Hm?" Fire looked at the tear and small abrasion. "Oh don't worry. That old man can't catch me and never will be able to catch me."
"How are you sure? He seemed to come closer this time by your arm." Leaf said with a flat tone, folding his arms.
Fire rolled her eyes and moved on to her room. "Just get Tool to upgrade my blades." She said throwing her blades onto the table at Leaf as she went to her room. "Also I'll be leaving in a day or two. I want to go looking for Lysin."
Leaf sighed taking the items into hand. "I can't believe this." He complained heated under his breath as he moved to speak to Tool.
In the other Owl's city run by Lady Snake, Sistan, an older man moved in his cloak down the alleyway that lead behind a bakery. He approached and knocked, waiting on the keeper of the shop to open. It took a few minutes but eventually a couple clicks of two locks before the door opened to show a middle aged woman. "Ah Lyn, how are you?"
"Oh good as ever." He said in an older sounding voice, keeping his hood up and his back hunched somewhat.
"That's good to hear. You know I hear they are hiring on the north part of the city. Maybe you could apply and have a home to live in." She suggested as she gave him a duffle bag that had different breads and other items in it as well as a bit of money to help him out.
He chuckled shaking his head. "Naw I'm happy as I am. Besides, Lady Snake has enough to worry about than collecting housing tax from an insane old man."
"Oh I know, isn't it just horrible what happened to Lord Dragon? I hope they find that woman. What if she strikes again?" The baker asked with concern.
Lysin nodded. "I know, it's very concerning but I'm sure they can handle it and take care of whoever it was."
She nodded sighing relieved to hear that. "I know, well I hope you have a safe night. See you again next week or two." She said moving back inside with a wave as he waved back in return.
Lysin sighed turning and shouldered the bag smiling to himself. "Well this will get me and my group by for now." He said softly and proceeded to step down the few stairs there were and onto the street before pausing as a guard approached, taking a photo of him with the flash on. Lysin released a startled noise as he stepped back and the soldier rushed forwards.
The soldier grabbed Lysin's hair under the hood and yanked, yanking out a small hand full of a few strains and looked at him rubbing the back of his head. "Sorry sir but I just wanted a few strains of your hair. It's so pretty and my sister does wigs." He said cheerfully with some apologetic tones in there as well.
Lysin turned glaring but took a deep breath, sighing as he rubbed his head. "It's fine, you could have asked. Now be gone and let this old man have his solitude." The soldier nodded and ran off. Lysin sighed closing his eyes. "Great, now I'm going to be having to move I bet." He mumbled to himself as he made his way down the alleyway and turned.
He made his way down the side street and did not stop until he came to a building with a door that looked as if it could be in need of some cleaning and repairs due to the rust on its metal surface. He knocked three times, waiting until it slowly cracked open, six chains on the door made sure it didn't open far.
No answer came but an eye did show and Lysin took a breath. "The flute's midnight song is heard but never seen under the willow vine tree." The door closed, locks undid and then the door opened up allowing Lysin to walk in before it reclosed and was locked back up tight.

"It's quite simple really." Creed was growing frustrated with his hired help, the schematics for the trap were quite straightforward, but these simpletons seemed to be struggling with putting it all together... "This piece attaches to that, this wraps around the cogs which are connected here, that wire needs to be set on a hair's breath so when the the target touches it, the clamp will snap shut and then the piece-du-resistance, the closing of the clamp will set off this transmitter which will close the entire cage around her! How can you not understand?!" The man who would be paid on completion of the 'simple device' drew back meekly, sure, it sounded simple...but to put it into action? His team was stumped... Creed had hired from the company before and the guys that had set the previous trap up for him hadn't quibbled once - and it had worked a dream! ...But this team seemed less than comfortable putting together this creation and Skylar was beginning to have his doubts in using the company reliably again... "Look, put it together and I'll see about a tip...After you've tested it for me." he smirked, savouring the look of fear on the man's face before frowning as something else drew his attention. "What are you doing!?" he flew towards another worker who recoiled from one of the scientist's other schematics, "That is Not for your eyes!" he snatched up the papers before staring the man down. "Just do your job!" spinning round, he headed inside. It was dangerous putting the trap so close to home, but he felt he was so close to capturing her that the risk seemed necessary. The trap would be constructed in the very alleyway beside Creed's home, should Fire happen to pass by once the trap had been set to Skylar's standards, he would bait it with something he felt was particularly irresistible and then watch his security cameras closely. Should she leave on her search for her Mentor and depart unaware of his trap, then Creed would sit for hours waiting and waiting - eventually the trap would be sprung, but upon rushing outside ready to render his target unconscious through chemical artillery, he would find to his great disappointment that the stray dog he'd caught instead was more than a little displeased to have been captured... ~*~*~ "...Where are we going?" Tala couldn't help but glance back over his shoulder as the cat continued to lead the way through an array of winding alleyways - he was quickly becoming disorientated and knew by now he was more than a little lost... Still, the cat kept walking, that was until they reached what appeared to be a dead end. "You can't be serious..." with boxes stacked high and countless threads and carpets dumped at random angles the alley was a mess. "You've led me to a dead end and now I'm lost.""Not lost." the sound of the man's voice made the youth turn and Tala was more than a little surprised to see Dante, along with three others blocking the only visible exit. "Just a little turned around." the male smirked, "Logir, Renn?" he waved two of the three forward, watching as Tala tensed at their advance. "Stay back!" His mind immediately jumping to the conclusion they'd drawn him away from known territory to mug and perhaps kill him, Tala gave a growl and prepared to fight his way out...that was until the group started to laugh... "What's the fuss?" Dante shook his head, chuckling as he advanced, "The Entrance is this way," he shot a wink towards his comrade as he walked by, then peeled back one of the carpets before turning back, "You interested?"Tala watched as the others advanced, slipping beneath the carpet and disappearing into the darkness beyond... Dante remained by the entrance, looking back at the youth who was playing around with the idea of retracing his steps as far as he could and hoping with luck he'd find his way back home... but was it worth the hassle...? His eyes glanced towards the male who showed no sign of impatience, then he stepped forward. "Look Out Below!" The moment Tala passed beneath the shroud, Dante gave the male a shove. With nothing to grab hold of, Tala spun round, grasping fruitlessly for the male before watching as the light disappeared and he fell away from the entrance, hitting the ground before sliding... "Geronimo!" He heard a thud, then carpet suddenly dropped, plunging them into complete darkness. Having turned, Tala exited the chute backwards, rolling as he hit the mat at the base before coming to a stop at the feet of the trio he'd seen disappear only moments before... Seconds later, Dante appeared, rolling once before getting to his feet and dusting off his jacket. "Might need to work on your landing, but it was your first time."Logir, the largest of the trio offered the youth a hand, gripping Tala beneath the arm and lifting him to his feet before dusting him down. "This way." he waited for Dante to take the lead, then urged the youth to follow.

Tool went to work on her daggers and was impressed by the parts she had. "Who do you think is doing this?"
"No idea but it has to be a person working for the Owls. They must have figured out it was Fire." Leaf answered while standing, leaning back against his brothers wall with arms crossed.
"Do you think she should be going?" Tool asked as he attached a part.
Leaf shook his head. "No but she won't listen to me when I tell her Lysin is dead. She's gotten so cocky since defeating Dragon and Silver leaving to rule Delta."
Tool sighed nodding. "True but are you sure we can't make her stay?" he asked looking at his brother who slowly shook his head. Tool went back to work silently. "I hope she will be okay out there."
"Me too," Leaf agreed concerned.
It would be later that Tool would get Fire a solo cycle ready and on the day she was going to leave, she secured her bag around her shoulders under the cloak, moving over and onto the cycle the two guys had managed to haul up to the surface for her. She tested the handles and seating, making sure she was good and her daggers with gun was secure. "Now you know how to charge'em up right?" Tool asked worried.
Fire sighed rolling her eyes as he got situated. "Yes I remember. When there's a lightening storm place the charge chips onto the disk and wait for lightening to strike it until the light goes green and yellow before I remove it and put them back into my weapons." She answered boredly with an eye roll.
"This isn't a joke Fire, you know we're worried about you. You've been acting out lately and we're scared. What if whoever is leaving you stuff is one with the Owl's?" Tool snapped at her.
Fire groaned "for the last time, I doubt it is. I didn't leave any evidence back there and no one has tried raiding anywhere a Shader might hide so I don't think they know yet was me. It's just some stupid old man with money to burn and has no life outside of trying to catch pretty women."
"Oh? Thank you for the reminder. I forgot you were a woman." Leaf pointed out flatly then smirked as she glared.
"Well for your information I'm very attractive. He has a good eye." She said flicking her hair back.
"And what dirty intentions is what bothers me." Leaf muttered.
"Enough chatter, I'm off. I'll be back in a few days. I'm just going to look around one of the cities. I'll phone in when I'm there, okay?" Fire asked and both boys nodded. She hugged them both and started the engine, revving it and took off.
Leaf and Tool sighed and went back down to the base to figure out what they would do next since it was just the two of them now.
If Creeds trap had been set and was ready with an item to tempt Fire then she would be driving, pass by the spot but come to a stop. "What..?" she backed up and stopped again to look down the way towards the item resting out for her. "The old man has put something out early. Maybe he's giving up?" she asked quietly under her breath before looking up and around at the two buildings.
She wouldn't see anything and would slowly ease her cycle into the alleyway beside Creed's home, looking around cautiously. Carefully she put the stand down to rest her bike and removed her messenger bag, placing it on the seat before approaching carefully. "I guess he saw he wasn't going to win." She said confidently, grinning and laughed a bit.
She would near closer to the trap and reach for the item. When it would spring she jumped moving to dodge one thing but felt her arm get grabbed by another clamp. Fire growled moving again to try and pull herself free. "Let go!" she yelled at it, breathing out fire before it was cut off as she screamed from the quick way she was then surrounded and trapped inside of a cage. "What the heck is this?!" she barked breathing out flames onto the clamp to try and melt it off her flesh, switching to ice to make it quickly cool to try and crack it to break it when fire alone didn't seem to bother it.
If this happened and if Creed came down to knock his trapped target out she would turn and glare, shooting a breath of flames at him as quickly as she could but not soon enough before she would be hit by his chemicals to knock her out. If this happened she would try to ask who he was but wouldn't get the words out before her body collapsed to the floor of the cage, her bike and items still standing nearby.
If the trap was not yet ready then she would continue on her way to go search the other city.
Lysin moved into their hideout, opening a doorway the rested in a corner along where a wall and floor met. He stepped downstairs and was greeted by four other people. "Welcome back Lysin!" a woman said warmly, smiling with her green hair and orange eyes.
"Hey Flute, it's a pleasure to be back down here. I brought food." Lysin said removing the bag and put it down on a table upon which a male opened it up to start handing out the food items.
"Hey you forgot some potatoes this time." The male whined and Lysin chuckled shaking his head.
"Sorry but that didn't work out so well. I did try but she couldn't apparently get any for us this time. Don't worry we can try again later to buy some." Lysin suggested as he neared the sink to wash up his hands.
"Hey Tuba, why aren't you happy about this? We got extra food and some extra money." A man that went by the name Trumpet said with a wide grin and a chuckle, holding up the pouch of money for a man to the side to see.
The man looked up being Tuba with blue hair and shook his head. "You know that money is going into the savings we have going and not for bar hopping or for something shiny." He said in a deep voice, standing and approached, snatching the money away from Trumpet who now pouted.
"You are so not fun Tuba." Trumpet pouted with his arms folding annoyed as Tuba smirked moving away to put the money away into the lock safe they had set up to keep track of their money, Tuba being the one in charge of guarding the money as well as keeping track of their finances.

Creed had fallen asleep at the computer, so at the sound of screaming, he snapped awake, knocking an empty mug off the table with a clatter before glancing dazedly at the camera screens. It took a moment, the flickering image eventually waking him up to what was going on. "By the Gods! It worked!?" he pushed away from the screens, spinning around on his chair before launching himself towards the cupboard where he stored his medicines and drugs. It wouldn't take him very long to put together a concoction, then, locating a dart gun, he rushed towards the door before taking a second to compose himself. He would step outside, drawing her attention for a moment before pulling his labcoat up to act as a shield against the flame. "Such a wonderful garment this..." he mused, "Flame retardant And Waterproof! That means Blood doesn't stain!" using a laser sight to pinpoint his target, he let the shot fly, smirking as the female turned round with a glare that could kill. "Now, if you don't mind, I have a call to make." he would casually turn his back, running a hand across the bike before taking a rummage through her bag, whether his fellow scientist would pick up, or he would get the answering machine, he would maintain the same amused voice, "Ritzu! ♫♪ I have a surprise! ♪♫" he practically sung the words before glancing back at the girl in the cage, "You recall a certain, unattainable prize? Well! I've succeeded! She'll be in my lab if you wish to collect her? Don't be long, I have other projects to be getting on with...!" As soon as the conversation was over he would collect Fire's belongings, moving them just inside the doorway before carefully placing a device on her wrist that would administer an additional dose - just in case she came round during the move. A soon as it was attached, he would release the lock on the cage, gently brushing her hair from her face before lifting her from where she had fallen and carrying her inside. He'd planned ahead years ago, for the moment he might just claim a subject that he needed to store away safely... It was a little larger than a cupboard, but it was well padded so should the individual come round, they wouldn't harm themselves...much. Only once she was safely bound would he remove the device from her wrist and reach for the door. "I can only wonder what she has planned for you..." he pondered for a moment about collecting a sample or two for his own tests, what was he giving away after all? He'd caught her, so why not...? "She's not mine to play with." he shook his head, remembering he had his own subject...if he ever found him again... Shaking any further thoughts from his head, he shut the door, locking it tight before taking a seat back at the laptops to await Ritzu's arrival. ~*~*~ Second from the back - Logir walked behind him, perhaps so he wouldn't run? - Tala didn't know quite what to expect as they moved up the tunnel, everything was dimly lit by flickering lamplight and the smell had a strange taste that stuck at the back of the throat...he coughed a few times, hearing a mumble from one of the three up front before shielding his eyes as they stepped out into bright light. "You get used to it eventually," Dante turned back to face him, "But this is home." he held out an arm to show the way and Tala could do little but stand in awe at the sight that met his eyes. The initial impression of living in the sewers was far from the vision before him, there were tall standing lanterns that lit every corner of the room, couches and chairs dotted around a well cleaned and decorated environment...There was even a kitchen area in the corner which gave off the most pleasant of scents as the group dispersed, leaving Tala and Dante by the tunnel exit. "So what do you think?" the male rested an arm of Tala's shoulder, "It's a lot better than that hovel you and that old Hunter were living in.""...I like living in that hovel." Tala frowned, hoping to defend Cyrus for his choice of housing with their poor credit... "I'm sure you do." Dante mused, patting him on the shoulder before crossing the room and flopping down on one of the couches, "Come, grab a seat, take a weight off!" he fumbled down the side of the couch before pulling out a remote which with the flick of a switch, caused a flatscreen television to rise from the floor. Tala felt rather overcome and remained where he stood for more than a moment longer than he'd have liked... The fact he'd never seen so much equipment in one location before, or rather, so much equipment - Ever - had quite thrown him off... Cyrus had kept him away from everything technological, raising him with nothing more than the radio, the occasional automaton and his survival skills...Of course, they'd proven useful, but how much more had he missed? Eventually he took a step down the small stairs, recoiling as someone suddenly approached from his right, gripping him by either arm and getting real close to his face, "You found a new one?!" she beamed, grabbing his hand and inspecting his palm closely before dropping it and looking deeply into his eyes, "He's a cutie! And his eyes!""Anji! Let him be!" Dante rolled his eyes as the female swooned over the youth, "He hasn't even reached the bottom step and you're already on him!""...Flies on butter." Logir mumbled, gripping the female around the waist and pulling her away, "Don't you have computers to fry?" he carried her from the room, drawing Tala's eye to another new face who stood just outside of the room, watching him from the shadows. "Yo Jess! You there?" Dante knew the female was there, but felt it better to draw some attention to the fact she had shown interest in their guest, "Come say hi!" he waved her forward, but as Tala looked back to the doorway, he realised she'd disappeared. Eventually, he made it over to the couch, tilting his head as he looked at the television screen, "Don't mind Jesse, she's a little reserved around strangers." he patted the nearest couch cushion, "Sit and chill for a bit, we don't have another job for a couple of hours yet,""Is this happening right now?" Tala looked at the screen, having really only seen images from the security cameras, "This?" Dante was confused, then looked at the TV, "Nah, this stuff's all pre-recorded, for entertainment and stuff, y'know?" He looked at Tala's expression, then shrugged, "We can check security cameras any time, but that's what we've got Anji for, I personally prefer the Dramas and things they show later in the evening.""And that's why you're putting on the podge." the third member of their crew, a female that had joined them on the way down advanced with something she'd retrieved from the oven, "You're lucky the boss gives us jobs to do regularly, or you'd be as fat as Finnick!" she was of course referring to the head of the Citadel Guard who had worked his way to the top position through lies and deceit. "You hungry kiddo?" she pushed the tray towards Tala, but the youth refused politely, "We're gonna hafta run him around the block a few times I think." Dante mused, tossing the remote in Tala's direction before getting to his feet, "Have a play around," he stole a few cookies from the tray before heading towards another exit which would lead to the bedrooms, "I'm gonna catch some shut-eye before the Boss sends over the next job."Feeling rather out of place, Tala watched as the male left the room before glancing down at the remote, his eyes next turned towards the unnamed female who was returning to the kitchen area with the tray. They all seemed friendly enough...but they'd still technically led him away from home and trapped him underground with no visible sign of an exit... The sound of a breath made him turn and his eyes picked the female from the shadows again - with Dante out of sight, she'd returned, watching him silently before drawing back as Tala turned to look. "Go and say hi." Renn, the slender male from before had returned, seating himself at one of the computers dotted around the room, "She doesn't bite...much." he smirked, but Tala didn't find much amusement in his 'joke'. Eventually, he rose to his feet, perhaps a glance around wouldn't hurt...? It was clear he wasn't going anywhere anytime soon... He left the remote where it had come to rest and approached the tunnel from which the female had been watching...

Fire growled but did pass out and was of no problem for him to move and restrain her into her new prison so to speak for transport.
Ritzu would return to her work area as her phone went to the answering machine. She took a drink of her tea before nearly choking on it hearing Creed on the other line. "WHAT?!" she exclaimed, racing to the phone and quickly picked it up. She listened to the message two more times before dialing him back. This would be after he had secured Fire in the roughly cupboard sized compartment that she would wait for an answer.
When he picked up she would take a breath. "You must be kidding! You actually caught the rat in the photo?! How? Where? Was anyone with her?!" she asked quickly in her rush to know more.
In Fire's bag was the photo of her parents and her as a little girl as well as what little she had from them after their home had been burned and them slain. The photo would be of the two in the system deemed dead, her parents Richard and Lina. On the back of the photo in stylish cursive hand writing was written the names "Richard, Lina, and Viola".
Also in her bag with the photograph looking charred around the edges, was a necklace which had a rounded pendent on the end. One one side it had the words engraved "The coldest ice" and on the other side was engraved "is drawn to the warmest fire." which had been a saying her parents used due to their opposing magics.
"Tell me if she is as the photos hinted at. Now Creed." She ordered as she moved around the room, readying herself a bag of supplies. "I can take her but she is not my project. I can run my tests but if she refuses to talk to me or answer I'll leave that to you." Her voice stiffened some. "You are far more....unlikely to strike and harm in questioning than me." She then muttered under her breath, "you carefree scientist."
Fire rested silently, knocked out by what he'd given her. "Are there any signs of damage? Any signs she has been tested on before?" she quested as she closed her bag up. "Did you remove her weapons from her person? If she is a Shader they always have weapons on their person, tricky little rats."
If Creed hadn't then Fire would still have her 2 daggers and 1 pistol like gun on her with in her bag were the modified bullets Tool made her to be able to produce fire and ice. Inside the box Fire started to groan trying to move and stir. If he had taken her weapons then her going for them would not be a fear or problem.
"I will be there. Check her for any wires or anything she can use to have any friends locate her. I won't transport her if I must worry about Shaders coming after me for their little buddy. Before I bring her here I will be making a spot for her after I know the extent of any magic she has. I don't need her doing something I'm not prepared for." she went over her things and sighed. "I will do a few tests there to make sure I do have a spot ready for her. If not I will leave and return later for her."
Ritzu shouldered her bag. "Make sure she is disarmed of her weapons and any transmitters or wires that allow her communications to her friends." She would hang up once they were done talking. She would make her way down a hall, opening a door and checked on what was there, seeing what she had that could stop or silence to resist magic and the types. I may be able to handle her. she thought then took her leave, going down, paying the doorman and got into her truck so to have a secure area to hold Fire in, just in case. She set off, heading out to get Fire and see for herself that he truly caught such an elusive person.
Fire in her cupboard prison moaned slowly moving her head as she tried to get woken up, her body moving some to the best it could. She hadn't fully come around yet but sure was trying. Her hands moved to her sides as her eyes struggled to open, feeling for her daggers. If they were there she would take hold of them as she blinked to try clearing her sights in the darkness. "Wha-?" she muttered trying to move and winced, her body feeling stiff as it was waking up and also from the restraints she couldn't see well in the darkness but felt them.
"What's.....this?" she asked softly moving one hand for a dagger in hopes to use its charge to light up where she was, if the dagger was there. If it wasn't then she would feel panic rise inside her more than before. Her mind was reviewing over the previous events before she lost consciousness. Inside Fire took a breath and started trying to breath out her flames to try and get some light inside her confines to see where she was and what was restraining her movements.
In Ritzu's lab area was Rosalie rested as she had just that morning gotten three doses of medicine which had been causing her body to flicker between the beast and human self. She laid on the floor of her cage, curled up and trembling. She was scared of herself and what she could become yet was glad for all Ritzu had been and was doing to try and help her over the time since her capture.
Slowly she opened one eye to look around slowly then carefully sat up, taking her time and checking her body first with touch before looking herself over and sighed. "I'm me....for now. Maybe.....she's fixed me....in full?" she asked quietly as she checked her hands then looked up at a clock to see the time on the wall. "Wonder how my father and sister are doing..." she said sadly and looked down, closing her eyes slowly.
Annabelle had been doing well enough, learning more how to keep her hair back by her father's request. Her father's work had been steady in making any repairs in the main palace fortress that now Silver occupied. Silver had been trying to make sure he had income, feeling bad for his daughter after he saw her once and saw the remains she carried with her from what started all this those years ago.
Lysin got himself a sandwich as Flute brought up a couple screens to check inside the mansion that was larger than a normal one. She used a keyboard to flick through the different small camera's they had set up, thanks to Trumpet and Lute and their slyness to manage such a feat.
Trumpet also got himself food as did Tuba and Lute. They went over and started to have a battle with the other in a phone game that had been made by Flute to keep them busy and occupied when they didn't have to put on the facade of loyal followers of the Owls.
"So anything different?" Lysin asked her as she scrolled through the different cameras, shaking her head.
"No nothing so far that's out of odds from before. For being so powerful they are very dull." Flute commented pushing her brown hair back.
"That could also be part of the way they get people to underestimate them. Somehow Dragon was brought down by one woman. See if there's anyone knew in the lockup area." Lysin said taking a bite of his sandwich.
Flute nodded, taking a sip of her drink as she went to that camera to show on the feed no new faces. "Nope, same sad ones there." She said feeling bad for them.
Lysin nodded taking another bite. "Wonder who in the world had such power to be able to bring down Dragon. He always seemed to be the other fours leader so would of been the stronger of the group." He pondered this feeling a bit disturbed and curious to who could of done that, not knowing it had been his own former group member Fire.

Having been a scientist for many years now, searching for and removing any weapons would have been the first task he'd complete after ensuring his subject was well restrained With the phone balanced between his shoulder and his ear, he rifled through the female's items, setting them out on the desk as he went. He'd seen her Fire Breath though and might just have placed a mask on her, had he not felt it would be futile and perhaps even damaging for her should she decide to use it to break free...
"I caught here here at home, a simple trap I perfected." he wasn't really listening and traced his fingers gently across the faces in the picture, "Now now, let's not resort to name calling just because I caught her before you..." he smirked when she said he was less likely to strike out at a subject during questioning - it all came down to the gender really, males, he had little issue in dealing a few blows to get what he wanted, but because Fire, or rather, Viola, was female, he was already thinking up other ways of making her talk... "She is unarmed, but I have concluded that she isn't a shader like we first believed...if she was, she would have escaped my trap and might have been as far as Sistan by now." When Ritzu mentioned wires, he might just have neglected to search for anything less than the obvious, damaging weapons and physical wires that could easily be discovered on a pat-down... He knew it would be too late to try now however as with the serum only being strong enough to put his subject out so he could move her and perform a brief search, it would most likely have started to wear off...
A flicker out of the corner of his eye told him that the girl was coming round and as Ritzu ended the call, he would set the phone down and turn towards the closet space. Watching as the small porthole window would illuminate occasionally as though she was trying to light the space around her. "Good thing I used flame retardant on the padding as well, or she'd be toast..." he muttered this to himself before approaching the doorway to peer through the gap.
"Using fire in a confined space is a little dim...is it not?" he couldn't see much, but knew she would probably be panicking about now... "For one, your surroundings might catch alight and burn you to a crisp...you also sap the oxygen from the air and risk suffocation..." he wasn't sure if she could hear him, but continued speaking anyway, "Now you may be able to escape your restraints...then again, maybe not...I've had to invest in a stronger material due to recent...subjects... but even if you did...the door is reinforced, so you'll have more than a challenge on your hands..." he tapped the window, considering turning the light on, but wondering what else she might try... "You've caused quite a stir, y'know? And had I the time, I'd just love to get to know you and your abilities a little better...but alas...I am merely your captor...An individual slightly more competent than those morons they call guards at the castle... I mean, how many times did it take me to perfect my trap, when they've spent so long and gained so little..." He rambled on for a moment or two, then became slightly distracted by the sound of the phone ringing and turned away...
"I will be taking the liberty of storing your belongings somewhere safe..." the phone had fallen silent and he turned back to the doorway, "Wouldn't want anyone getting their hands on those beauties..." he was at that time referring to her weapons, but had also noted that her more personal items would be worth keeping out of sight, at least for now... "My colleague will be taking you away, but when she is done...whenever that is, you're more than welcome to stop by and reclaim them... As for my gifts..." his eyes drifted up to a small shelf where he'd placed her 'mocking' trophies so he could reflect on all the work that went into capturing her, "Those are mine." he smirked, then let out a yawn, stretching.

Viola stopped her fire breath to glare at him. Her body tensed as did her jaw. "Where am I?" she questioned sharply as she moved and managed to slip one foot free before kicking the door hard to make it shake. She glared at the window he looked in through at her from and suddenly moved slamming herself against the glass. As she came back down she had her head hit one of the pads and this turned on her earpiece as she hadn't gotten her arms free, plus she didn't want him knowing of it.
"Where's my cloak? Give it back!" she barked loudly with clear heated emotion. She did not want someone she didn't know laying any filthy hands on an item given to her by Lysin.
Leaf had walked by the set and blinked hearing a noise and went over, starting to listen. "Fire?" he asked only to get her to not address him back but heard a male speaking about someone, no idea he was hearing Creed.
Fire snarled at him and her breath became stiff. "I'm not going to be sent off to anyone for any reason, got it?" she growled darkly then after she'd taken to note of his talking about how he had managed to capture her as compared to all the guards she had out manuvered and or killed, she heard him mention her personal belongings. This set a spark of emotional rage through her and fear as she started to tremble. "Don't you DARE lay ONE filthy (bleeping) hand on them!!" she screamed as she pushed and slammed herself against the side of the window in hopes of cracking it or breaking it.
If it did not then she would look around and kick the door once more even after she had heard it was re-enforced. She started to think her body trembling with fear of what he might do with her items from her parents and Lysin's cloak. "You aren't taking them or touching them, you hear me sicko?!" she snapped loudly at him, a slight small glint coming to her eyes. "How about we try something else in your prison?"
She took a breath and breathed out ice, starting to cause the glass and walls to gain a frost on it. She now planned to freeze everything inside the box before using her fire to make it suddenly crack and break in hopes of getting herself out or him letting her out. What would happen she didn't know and didn't appear to be thinking like she cared. Fire's main goal was to get out and get back the few items remaining from her parents and the one item she had from Lysin.
Viola took another breath and let out more ice and frost from her mouth as she turned her head to spread it around. Now she was shivering but she pushed herself through it, wanting out and was bound to see how far he would go to keep her 'safe' for whoever this person was that was on their way. Either she was going to get him in trouble by her dying when the one he knew wanted her alive, or she was going to get her way and get out of her confined prison.
"You-you-you w-w-won't g-g-get away w-w-with t-taking m-m-my th-things." she stuttered out with another breath of frost.
"Fire?! Fire what's going on? Fire!" Leaf shouted as he heard her and he became worried, his face falling and quickly he tried to pick out anything to try and figure out where she might be. "Fire tell me where you're at right now!" he demanded.
Fire's eyes began to close but she fought to keep them open as she let out another ice breath, ignoring the ice that had formed on herself. She shook her head trying to keep focused as she let out a flame fast at a spot to try and start a chain reaction to make the space break or the glass to break of the window to let in more air that way.
Leaf began to curse under his breath when she wasn't answering but he could hear the noise of ice cracking. "Dang it! This is not good. I told her it was a bad idea to go out!" he let out a yell of frustration and ran over, getting hold of a gun and grabbed himself a tracker before looking to Tool who had come from his room.
"What's going on?" the teen asked.
"Fire's gotten herself into trouble. Her earpiece turned on but she's not answering and I heard a man talking to her. He said he was her captor but I don't know where she's at." Leaf said frustrated and very worried. "I just heard her doing her ice magic and I bet she did her flames. I don't want to think of what is happening. I bet that guy she's been toying around with to get items from him is behind it. I'm going to go see if I can find any traces or anything to say where she's at or might be in a general location."
"I want to come to!" Tool demanded.
"No, I don't want anything happening to you." Leaf stated.
"But I want to and I am. Silver is head of the city he will just have us released if we are arrested for any reason." Tool pointed out.
Leaf thought then sighed nodding. "Fine, let's go." He said as Tool got himself a collapsible bat to use if needed.
Fire heard this in her ear and whispered softly as she struggled to keep her eyes opened. "N....n....no..." she barely got out, "s-s-stay a-a-a-away.....L-Leaf..."
She couldn't see them but they had left the area and started out to make their way to a manhole cover to begin their search for any clues to where she was to find her.
She also did not know how close or far Ritzu was and she was having trouble keeping her vision clear and her mind focused from the cold she'd caused inside the space then the vacuum from the heat shooting off of the cold pieces as well didn't help her any. It would be clear Fire did not think this through at all.
If he took her out of the closet like space she wouldn't fight him as her mind was not focused and would take her a few moments to regain her senses. When she could regain herself enough she would try to kick him but her speed wouldn't be recovered yet after the cold her muscles had experienced with the moisture from the heat added into the ice.
".....s-s-stupid...." she insulted him with a rough hiss trying to headbutt him while trying to get her body to respond in a quicker manner like she wanted it to. Okay using ice in a small space, bad idea. she thought to herself, taking that to mind along with what he had said about using her flames in a small space as well.

Skylar watched the female's tantrum with a stoic expression, he could understand her frustration, but at the same time, thought back to his own problems and breathed a sigh... "It's a little late for that..." He rolled his eyes as he heard her scream at him about touching her things, calmly, he placed said items out of sight so when Ritzu made her appearance, she would have no knowledge that Fire had come with additional belongings... He then watched her struggle for a while longer before coming to a conclusion that she'd probably suffered enough. There was little way she was going to shatter the reinforced glass, but he could see she was growing tired with her thrashing and this changed his original plans to something better... He knew it would be foolish to let her out, quietly he flicked a switch that would open a small vent inside the room and replenish some of the air burnt away by her flames, "Self combustion is not a way anyone should go out..." he shook his head, "...and you of all people need to remain healthy..."He turned away at this point, moving to where he'd initially hidden her things. Something had caught his eye, but until now, he'd not given it any thought... "Hmm..." There was no saying if ventilating the room was going to aid her any, but Creed used the moment to pocket something that seemed initially insignificant. Something made him feel certain that Fire wouldn't notice it missing at first, but when she realised wasn't there, he knew she would be back for it. "Y'know, I do like to toy with my specimens..." he drew everything from where he'd hidden it and set it in plain view before ensuring he locked the back doorway - just incase Ritzu turned up earlier than expected. "But I like to toy with my comrades a little more...play hard to get, so to speak...?" He'd seen enough to know that Fire would cause more than a few problems for him if he didn't do something to aid her... besides that, she'd helped to prove that his inventions worked remarkably better than everyone had initially doubted... "What do you say to some fresh air?" Maniac that he was, Creed probably hadn't thought things through before acting, but then perhaps he had? He was strange that way... Unlocking the cupboard door he watched as she fell out at his feet, she tried to kick him, but her movement was clearly reduced from her own assault, that and he'd already assessed that she would be exhausted enough for him to do what he needed to... "I wonder what would happen if I left the key here?" he crouched down, setting the metal object on the floor infront of her, "And your beautiful dagger here..." he plucked her weapon from the pile and set it at equal distance, "Maybe you could work your magic and free yourself?" he stood up, moving the dagger a little further away with his foot before crossing the room. From here, he would pull on his favourite scarf and a coat. "I say you've probably got about ten, maybe fifteen minutes to free yourself and make a run for it... Ritzu's rather excited to finally meet you, y'know?" he tipped his hat before heading for the other doorway, careful to open a window and let the fresh air draw inside. "I won't be coming back, so don't return."Before she would have the chance to fully recover and attempt an escape, Creed would take his leave. It was imperative that after giving her the opportunity to free herself he was when far enough away not to suffer her wrath when she got out. ~*~*~ The sound of the television faded the further up the tunnel he walked, eventually, it would become just his own lonely footsteps with a faint hiss in the distance. It was amazing how far the 'lair' extended...and it was hard to think that each room was furnished for its own unique uses... "It stops eventually..." A voice made him flinch and Tala snapped round, starting to hate people appearing out of nowhere... The female stood with crossed arms and appeared to be roughly his age, her hair was a dusty blonde and her eyes a stunning green... Her attire was simple, dark to hide in the shadows, but with straps and belts clearly located to hold weapons and other items that would aid on their 'missions' "You don't scare very easily..." she looked down at his clothing as though judging him before blowing her hair from her face and walking past him. "Follow me." she started to walk, but said nothing to urge him further. Having been led to believe she was rather shy, Tala tilted his head in confusion. A shy person wouldn't sneak up on someone and then demand they follow...So who was she really? Realising he was being left behind Tala had to jog to catch up, his footsteps echoing loudly as he moved further up the corridor.

Fire growled glaring death at him as she rolled out and she stayed still, catching her breath and getting her strength back. She watched where he put the key and her dagger. She hadn't seen what he took of her things so at the time had no idea but was planning to grab her personal items and other things she could before running if she could.
"I'll turn you into ice after I turn you to ash." She hissed darkly as he was getting his scarf on. Listening to him talk she glared and took detailed note of his face, way he moved, and anything she could use for recognizing him later to beat him up for putting her though this.
She managed to scoot over and grabbed the key, fumbling some and took a bit before she got free. Getting to her feet she looked around, frowning. She went searching after grabbing her bag, finding her items and quickly pocketed them as she heard an engine outside. "Dang it!" she hissed and zipped over, grabbing her dagger off the floor and moved to the open window, hoping the one she heard would go for the door and pay no mind to a window.
Outside the building Ritzu had pulled up after twelve minutes. She got parked and killed the engine as she got out excited to have the elusive woman to see what her magic was and how in the world she had it without being in the system as someone previously caught.
Fire cursed hearing the footfalls of Ritzu coming up the steps to the door. She quickly raced to the window with her stuff, throwing it open more and threw the bag out, lifting up and slipped out just as she heard a knock. As she landed she turned with cloak in her bag and let out her fire breath in through the window and into the building.
Ritzu had heard the thud and looked as she moved then gasped seeing the woman and the fire. Pulling out a gun she loaded it with a dart and aimed with a lazer pointer.
Fire glanced over and quickly ran, leaping over the edge of the grate she landed on and kicked her shoes to use the boosters, barely dodging a tranqulizer dart. As she landed with a rough spin something hit her in the side. She winced glaring to the woman and let out a powerful ice breath at the building, causing Ritzu to almost fall on the ice as Fire started to run.
Ritzu made her way down as carefully as she could as Fire made her way out of the side street and stumbled, the knockout drug stronger than Fire thought it could be. Ritzu made her way after Fire curiously. "Interesting, I've never known anyone being able to use two magics at one time. You are going to be an interesting subject." She purred curiously as she neared her.
Fire glanced back and shot out ice again at her then fire to make steam shoot up as she struggled to stand and run with stumbling out onto the main sidewalk and tried to make her way down it to find a hiding place.
"Fire!" Leaf shouted as they rounded a corner and he came racing towards her.
She looked up to see him and collapsed again. "Get away!" she tried to order as he ran up just as Ritzu came up and she was scooped up by Ritzu.
"Thank you, boy, for finding my prize." Ritzu said calmly, holding Fire at her side slumped.
Leaf frowned. "Give my friend back, now." He ordered sternly as Tool stayed back and hidden around a corner watching.
"Sorry but I just need her for a few things, then I'll be happy to give her right back once I'm done with her." Ritzu promised boredly and began to walk away from Leaf. She made it a few steps before she grunted from a punch to the head then another noise as she was punched in the back and kicked in the lower back. Her hold released Fire and Leaf took the young woman back as he stepped back glaring at Ritzu.
Ritzu stumbled some and slowly stood up and turned, not looking happy. "You must be kidding. You really wish to interrupt and disturb this acquisition?" she questioned sternly.
"You are not getting my friend." He ordered drawing his gun and aimed it at Ritzu ready to fire.
Ritzu moved back and got her whip out of the truck and came back, snapping it in the air. "Now, little boy, give me back my prize and I won't make you into something for me to work on my lashing skill."
Leaf winced at the crack and backed up, taking Fire in his arms more. "You'll need to kill me before I let a nut case like you take her off somewhere. I won't let her suffer that way." He said sternly.
"While I'm normally against killing a citizin of another city, I could make an exception if needed. Or I could just tie you up and give you to Creed. That loony needs something to do. I swear he has no real hobbies." She remarked softly sighing as she wasn't much to talk as she didn't have many either outside her work.
Leaf fired off two shots which she knocked one away but took the other to her upper arm without the whip in it. "I told you, she is not going with you."
"You little boy..." Ritzu hissed annoyed and moved to him, hitting him quickly at least six times which made him cry out in pain, falling back and dropping Fire. She picked her up huffing. "...have made me crossed." She snorted then walked to the truck with Fire and locked her into the back after securing her. She got inside and started it up.
Leaf got up and gasped, running after her as she got to the main street and was going to exit. Leaf followed with his injuries from the lashes he took and he punched the door a couple times, trying to break it open by pulling. This resulted in her driving faster and making a sharp jerk to snap him off and she left him laying in the street.
Leaf groaned slowly moving and tried to get up. He was exhausted from the hunt and now he lost Fire. "Now I wish I could teleport like Silver. He wouldn't have lost her...." he growled and punched the ground while he cursed.
Tool grabbed Fires bag and ran with it to help his brother up. "You okay?"
"Yea...wondering who she was and who this Creed guy is. She's in trouble Tool, and I think I just proved we need Silver yet he's busy leading Delta." Leaf said sadly, hating himself after losing Fire, not noticing that Creeds place had been set ablaze by Fire. The automatic systems kicked in to spray and began knocking out the flames.
Carefully Tool began to help Leaf up. "Maybe we can get her back?" he suggested. "or...somehow?"
"Silver asked me to lead and keep you both safe. I failed to keep her safe. We may never see her again." Leaf said sadly feeling depressed as he followed Tool off the street so not to risk being hit by any traffic.
"It should workout. I'm sure we can find a way to get her back." Tool said going quiet then spoke again. "Maybe we could tell Silver and he order she be brought back?"
"How do we get her from the palace fortress?" Leaf asked.
"Um....Siver could get her back to us?" Tool suggested.
"Maybe..." Leaf said thinking as they started down the street, he doing his best to not wince from the soreness heft from the whip.

They turned down tunnel after tunnel before the female eventually came to a stop infront of an old metal grate. Outside looked dark and gloomy, but Tala was certain he could see lights on the horizon. "Hold this." Jesse suddenly thrust something into his hands and he looked down at the fabric before lifting his eyes as he heard the sound of metal creaking with lack of use... He considered asking her what she was doing, but after a second or two, she pulled the fabric from his hands and wrapped the cloak around her before stepping out.
The cold air that had crept through the bars now hit him as he stepped out into the dark - had the time really passed so quickly? He started to hope Cyrus wouldn't get concerned for him... It was a wonder to realise that they'd actually found an exit outside the walls! Jesse jumped down off the ledge before glancing back as he pulled his own hood up and lowered himself down. "Where are we g..."
"This way." Cutting him off, the female waved him forward as she turned off at an angle before disappearing from sight. Once again, not wanting to be left behind, Tala followed, barely distinguishing her from the dark undergrowth they now trudged through.
Eventually, he would see the flickering lights again, but this time it was as they broke out through the greenery and came to a stop at the top of an overhang. Tala's eyes lit up at the sight - he could see an array of settlements and even the bright distant glow of the other citadels... It was the highest he'd been for some time and the fact he was outside made it that little bit better...
"I come here to think." Jesse had already taken a seat on the ground, a knee drawn up as she sat at a sort of sideways angle, "There's no way down, so we're not entirely free, but it's outside."
"Outside is good." Tala leant forward to see for himself if there was a way down, but the female was right and he drew back from the edge with a sigh.
The pair was silent for a few moments, perhaps Jesse was wondering why she'd invited the stranger to her secret spot, but then she gave a grunt and pointed, "Look!" Tala's eyes caught her grin and he turned as the first few rays of sunlight broke over the horizon. It didn't last long and soon the light was swallowed by the clouds that hung above, but it was enough to make them feel that little bit better. "We'd better head back."
Tala glanced back as Jesse pushed herself to her feet, then cast one last look at the sun as its light faded before following her back to the ledge. It was a lot easier getting back up - the female knew another route round - but as they re-entered the tunnel system, Tala couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that they were heading back inside.
"How long have you been down here?" he scrutinised her appearance as they walked, but averted his eyes as she slowed so they were now walking together,
"I forget." she replied bluntly, "But the boss keeps us going, so I can't complain..." it would emerge that she had lived with the group ever since she was a child. Dante had visited Delta many years beforehand and had taken her in after her parents had been wrongly incarcerated for crimes against the Owls...She had no idea what had happened to them, but had almost forgotten them with so many years passing between then and now. "What about you?" she turned to gaze towards him, then returned her focus on the tunnel ahead, "You've not been here long, I can tell...but what's your story?"
"I don't really have one." Tala shrugged, not remembering his own parents or much, if anything of the time before Cyrus took him in, "...Cyrus!" his eyes widened as he suddenly remembered the man, "He'll be worried for me!" he looked at the female, feeling rather guilty, "Is there a way out? I need to get back before he starts..."
"One sec," Lifting a hand, Jesse waved for him to be silent as a radio hidden at her hip crackled into life, "The boss has another job for us, I've gotta go." she moved to leave, then paused and turned back, "The tunnel on your right will lead you into the marketplace, if he's looking, he'll find you there."
Tala opened his mouth to speak, but the female had already disappeared from sight. He stifled a growl and stuffed his hands into his pockets, lingering alone in the tunnel for a moment or two before heading for the way out.
He would find her words true and emerge into an alleyway from which he could already hear the bustle of a busy marketplace - he found his way there rather quickly, taking a seat beneath one of the statues to wait. It would seem that hours would pass, people came and went and Tala quickly grew hungry, still, he continued to wait...but Cyrus didn't show. Would it be worth wandering round? He might just get lucky and find his way back...but then again... He decided to wait a little longer before taking shelter as the first few spots of rain started to fall.
In the meantime, Cyrus had awoken on the couch, a bottle of beer on the couch beside him and the remains of a microwavable dinner on the coffee table infront. He gave a yawn, stretched and then exhaled a groan as he got to his feet to put his things away.
After pottering around, he fixed himself something for breakfast before checking the mail. His acquaintance had already dropped a single, tan-coloured enveloped through the letterbox and after reading it, he destroyed the evidence before grabbing his coat. "I'm heading out!" he called up to the vacant bedroom before taking his leave - completely oblivious to the fact Tala had not returned...
