An Extra Gift Parent 1: NheKayla Uncert Parent 2: Garrett Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: here Lifemates: No What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The metal cuff to her front leg, as well as the tassels from her saddle. Short IC Response: "Tip, what nonsense is this? Just where exactly are you leading me to?" Despite her confusion, the mare followed closely after her familiar. Sure he had moments where he was sporadic and frustrating, but he was still her timeless friend. And even in her lowest of moods, she could never turn a cold shoulder against the fluffy critter. So as they arrived at the crest of the hill, she couldn't help but quirk a brow as Tip pointed hastily at the sky. Turning around, she spotted a particularly bright star in the darkness as her friend spoke.
"It's said to grant wishes, remember? I mean...actual wishes, Kk! I figured even if it is an old wives tale...maybe it can help you feel better?"
Kayla's ears shot up and she glanced down at the prairie dog, thankful that the night covered the flush against her face. "Y-you notice too much, Tip!" But his guess was true, and the mare despaired that her emotions were still a bruise easily seen even days later. And to think, it had all happened simply by the sight of a stallion. Upon first meeting Garrett, the mare's heart had trembled with both joy and fright. From afar, she had assumed him to be just like her. An Elekk, either driven far from home or seeking her out. But that had not been the case, and after confronting the benign stallion face to face, Nhekayla was left with a new tension in her heart. Peering up at the star, she spoke weakly to both the star and her familiar. "Am I really that selfish? First I'm running away from my kind. And now here I am hoping to see them again." She sighed and shook her head, as if it could help her get a grip on her wavering emotions. "If there is a wish that I can ask for then let it be this. Help me to better myself. Give me something worth thinking of and protecting, rather than my own doubts and fears. Please star..."
A nudge at her hoof, and the mare smiled while nuzzling her small companion. "Besides you, of course! Now what say you to a late night snack, hm? I hear the berries in this area are mighty sweet this time of year." And with the task complete, the duo made their way down the hill and into the dark woods.
((Thank you Soquili staff and Sabin, for this opportunity in Kayla's plot developments.<3))

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother Race (first choice): Wind Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Please re-roll if wind is not available- Sukari's mother is an established character from her written background, descending from a pure line of winds :3 What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A ragged, bloodstained ribbon that had clearly seen better days- a momento, from her brother's death Short IC Response: It had been many years since Sukari had contemplated this, longer still since the anger of injustice burned through her once torn heart. Her brother's demise at her own hooves had haunted much of her adult life, regret dominating even the most joyful of times when she had remembered his sacrifice, and her own selfish dislike of him. It was this that had driven the last living member of her family away- her mother was unable to accept what she had done, what she had become, in the wake of that tragedy. For years, she had been bitter. She had merely been the byproduct of her father's foolishness- he had brought his end upon them both, and Kureno had suffered for it. What did it matter that she was the one who had granted him death, when the alternative was to live as a monster- a skinwalker? Shamefully, Sukari did not deign to own up to the misery she had heaped upon her younger brother in his earlier life, simply because she had been jealous. Later, when she had come to accept her part in his destruction... the longing to see her mother, to gain her forgiveness, returned in force. She hadn't been ready. Not then, not for a long time. While the scar that had marred much of her adolescence had begun to heal, anger still reigned over rationality when the subject of her torn family came up. Now, though... Gingerly, the silver mare lowered her head to gently drop a bloodstained ribbon onto the earth before her, allowing cerulean hues to slip closed as she hummed quietly to herself. She had never been a mare of words, but she suspected that even if there was a spirit above that would grant her wish, words would be unnecessary. Life had been good to Sukari, after the tragedy. She gained a mate, four wonderful children, a heaping amount of grandchildren... yet now, in the wake of Avalee's disappearance, she wished more than ever to make amends with her mother. "Please... allow me this redemption."

A couple of feathers and one of her anklets Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Mahina glides to the area. She is giddy and full of energy, which the glide takes her off guard when finally setting hooves on the ground. "Hurry up, Zip. I need your help with this." Lifting the hoof with an anklet on it, the mare watches her friend cut it off. "Alright, go play while I do this." A gentle nudge of her nose gets the feline off while she turns back, thinking hard. It wasn't the first time she came to ask, so she had a some time to think about asking. "Wishing star, how you shine. Grant my wish of bring forth a family member. I do not remember if I have siblings, but the idea to share secrets and all the family things!" Her wings ruffle dropping some feathers down with the other gift. "Well, if not someday I will have stories to tell my children and share in their lives." Turning to leave, "Good-bye wishing star. See you next time around."

A protective totem made using wing and headdress feathers and bound with Ikinya's hair. Short IC Response: Cuauhcoatl chuckled as he set down his totem, ears flicking softly. So far the stars and the spirits have been welcoming to the massive Angeni and his much smaller beloved. Despite the heartache of their loss during their first surrogate breeding, the spirits had given them two adoptive sons, two sons who's baskets were found with their liking, a gift from the wishing star, and their two daughters who had remained from when their siblings basket was stolen away. Tipping his head to the sky, Cuauhcoatl closed his eyes in silent prayer. smiling as his eyes opened to twinkle of the star, "Thank you, dear friend."

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): Draft? Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Maybe a draft with a bit of something else? Up to you! What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of his purple feathers from his mane. His sister's favorite color had always been purple. Short IC Response: His father was the one who suggested it.
Bliss had made a wish upon the wishing star once, long ago, in hopes of finding some of his other 'abandoned children', then low and behold, Colt came. He had called it fate - that Colt had only appeared because of the wish he had made. Colt, on the other hand, had been looking for his father for quite some time, and preferred to call it a coincidence.
However either one of them decided to look at it, though, the fact remained that they were together for the first time; finally in each others lives. And Colt loved it. His father had been the best thing that ever happened to him. But as time grew and grew, he realized how much he missed his mother and his sister. They had been his everything up until the day he set off to find his father. And now he wanted to see at least one of them again.
So he found the wishing star by accident, and it pleased him. Perhaps Bliss was right? Perhaps this was fate. A lopsided grin plastered itself over his face and he sighed, "I'm a humble, simple stallion, oh Wishing Star. But I miss my sister, Filly. I left her in search of my father, and I found him...but he has yet to meet his daughter. Will you bring her here, to us?"

A True Friend
Who is Wishing?: Kawani persona (Laeannye) Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Laeannye looked up into the night sky. She watched as the stars danced around above her. Thoughts ran through her mind about a tale of the shooting star that granted wishes. Her brown hair flowed in the wind and she dropped down to the ground starting to cry. Her parents and her unborn baby brother had been in a terrible accident. A great storm came and bright blue jagged claws slashed from the sky and a booming voice screamed the storms rage. The heavens reached down and brought fire to surround her family's teepee taking them away from her forever.
Flashes came back to her as she watched her entire family ripped away in front of her eyes. She blinked away the memories and shouted to the spirits. "All I ever did was help everyone and all I do is get punished for it". She banged her fists on the ground then apologized. It was not the time for anger it was time for forgiveness. She whipped away her tears and closed her eyes.
Ever since her parents had died all any one had ever done was torment her. Nobody wanted to be around her for fear that she was cursed. Cursed because she lived though everyone else perished. She was known in the area as "The Ulasigvi".
10 Things I Like: Rainbows Pastels Animal patterns (big cat, peacock) Wings of any kind Long hair Earth tones (greens, golds, browns) Stars/Moons Fire Glowing colors Punk style
10 Things I Don’t Like: Pink and Girly (unless it's hot pink mixed with black for a punky style) Gory (Organs falling out or lots of blood) Boring patterns (normal stripes, poka dots) Clothing (other than small jewelry) Seathi breed Usdia breed
What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Laeannye pulled the necklace out of her pocket and held it tightly to her chest. The necklace was hand made by her mother and given to her when she became of age. It was the last thing she had that was a memory of her family. "This is the only thing I really care about wishing star".
She placed it softly on the alter. "Beautiful star, please give me a friend. I just want someone who I can care about that cares for me too. I have nobody in this land and I roam homeless and alone. It is so hard to find food, everyone just ignores me and throws rocks at me as I pass by. I don't believe that everything is cruel in this world and all I ask of you is proof that it is not. Just one friend that can show me that there is greatness in this world still. To show me that I can love again".
With one last breath she wished with all her might to the star above. Hoping so deeply that the stories she had heard while passing people by were actually true. This was her last hope at happiness and with that she got up, leaving the last reminiscence of the family she held so dear and lost so tragically left behind her.

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Edana Hatetalon
Armored
Tell the wishing star a little about yourself:
"I am the bow that does not bend, the fire that does not snuff, and the sister that has no mother. I bring sanctuary to sisters that follow the ways of the Northspring Harpies. I lead the sisters, when a leader is needed. I will lead them to war when the time is right.."
10 Things I Like (IC for Edana):
❧ Unity ❧ Control ❧ Blue ❧ Claws ❧ FEATHERS ❧ The Northspring Harpies ❧ Peacocks ❧ Blood ❧ Strength ❧ Beauty
10 Things I Don’t Like (IC for Edana):
❧ The Flock ❧ The weak ❧ Neon ❧ Males ❧ A dull knife
What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star?
Edana walks up to the wishing star with a wicked grin. With her are the shamans and the drummers, that chant and bang their drums. The beat picks up as Edana pulls out a knife with her mouth, then slits her leg with a tiny precise slit. Returning the knife, she then plucks one lone feather from her tail. Clutching it in her claw, she then drags it across the wound. "Blood of my blood." she says, as she bestows the feather before the wishing star.

Thunj leaves the two upper guards of his hind leg armor, along with a hoof-ful of small red flowers. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Thunjeramon continued up the hillside as the sunset slowly disappeared. He spotted a few other soquili running down the other way, as if chasing something. When he reached the top he was alone. There, outshining all other lights was a bright star. He'd heard of it before: the wishing star. Slowly looking around, he stepped closer to speak to it alone. "Star, I feel as if we're meeting again. Perhaps I've been in your confidence before," he mused. "If I may, I know that my calling is in the journey, in wandering and guiding, and this is the way I want it to be. But I also know that I cannot be the only one. For such a task, there must be others, and perhaps, another...is of my blood. Perhaps I am also searching for my kin. I wish to find them." Thunj looks to the alter. "Such a request must merit a sacrifice, which I will gladly adhere to, so if, on your journey through the sky, you have seen one like me, please lead me to them." Thunjeramon holds at the alter for a long while before finally laying down pieces of his armor and some flowers he'd been carrying. He stays until he hears the sound of other soquili and quietly departs from the hill.

Feather from his rain dancers, and a small ball of clay from the homelands. Short IC Response: Raja lowered his head as he approached the wishing star. The emotion came over him, as his eyes began to swell with tears. "For once,"he started as he choked back the tears, "I'd love to know that someone made it out alive.... Someone besides me.' Raja nudged a small ball of clay from his homelands towards the wishing star. The clay had been stuck to his hooves when he escaped his homelands. Raja then bent down and grabs a feather out of his raindancers, and laid that on top of the clay. "I know I have done wrong, and hurt so many others," he said as he cried, "But they all most know of my sorrow."(( As a bit of OOC scenario, when Raja was a foal, he was a bit mischievous and ended up causing a fire that spread throughout his homelands. he escaped, and believes that all of his family and friends were injured or lost in the fire. Raja only knows of himself that was able to make it out alive. The small clay ball was made from clay that had stuck to his hooves as he ran for safety. He has help on to this since the fires. ))

An Extra Gift Parent 1: Uncert Parent 2: Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: Breeding/Lifemating AgreementLifemates: Yes What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Zhen-Hui leaves one of her golden stars and one of Aranel's blue roses. Short IC Response: Tell me a little about your couple. What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask for a basket? ((Aranel does not know about his children with Luinil the harpy because he escaped the Flock before they were born)) With a gentle swish of her wings, Zhen-Hui gracefully touched down in the clearing where soquili had been leaving their offerings to the Wishing Star. Stepping carefully so as to not disturb any of the other seekers' tokens, she approached the altar and bowed her head in respect. "Oh Wishing Star, I ask this wish not so much for myself but for the sake of my beloved." She gazed up at the sparkling star and continued. "While I was fortunate enough to raise two strong, independent stallions because of my time with Icefyre, my lifemate has never known the joy of raising a foal of his own. He gets along wonderfully with my two grown sons, but it would be such a precious gift if we could share the raising of a basket together." She chuckled as she shook her mane, "He would make such an adorable father!"
She laid a delicate blue rose on the altar along with one of her shimmering golden stars. "The blue rose is from my love. It is so very important to him as it's the symbol of his noble father whom Aranel admires greatly. I know my love dreams of passing that rose down to a new generation of honorable and chivalrous soquili. The humble little star from my ribbon is to honor your power and gifts to all soquili."
Backing away, she once again inclined her head in respect, then looked up at the twinkling star. "Thank you for listening, oh wondrous star!" She trotted towards the edge of the clearing, stretched her wings and flew off, hopeful that the star might grant them such a precious gift.

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Suki has a big heart and lots of love to give but no one to give it too. He wishes to have someone to watch over and protect to the best of his abilities, even if he may not be the best kind of protector out there. He's dedicated and wont stop till there is a smile on his friend's face. 10 Things I Like: Long hair Girly males Drafts Thick Fetlocks Wings Bells Pastel colors Green Animal patterns 10 Things I Don’t Like: Baldness Kelip Clashing colors Most butt stamps What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Suki found his way atop a lone hill, over looking the field he usually grazed in. The wind billowed his scarf around his neck and the one in his mouth. Gently setting the old scarf down on the ground, he placed a gentle hoof over it, nuzzling it into place gently as if it were a newborn. It was tattered and frayed around the edges, but it was a treasure of sorts he had found one day, stuck in a bush trying so hard to get free, and had kept it ever since. It brought him peace and comfort of some kind, even with how simple and torn it was, it was perfect to him and he loved it. That's why he thought it would be a perfect gift for a very special friend. His pale blue eyes peered up to the wishing star and he took a deep breath before calling out to it. "hear me Wishing Star! I don't want much.... I just want a friend." he said, peering up at the twinkling star for several more moments before nosing the tattered scarf near his feet. He heaved a tiny sigh before pleading one last final wish. "Just a friend.... one that I can protect till I can't protect any longer."

A True Friend Who is Wishing? (a Soquili or Kiwani persona)
x Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Ever since I came to these new lands, I have been by myself and it's just plain boring when you don't have anyone around that you can have fun with! I have yet to met a decent soquili that I can call my friend or even my "bffl" if you will. Seeing how I have a wild, party girl type personality {once I break out of my skittish and cautious nature at first but trust me, my skittish ways don't last very long], I'm just looking for another soquili that I can just have a good time with; someone that I can take out with me to have a good time and just have fun with. Or hell, even a friend that's the complete opposite of me but I can mold her into the kind of friend I want her to be and can proudly call her my 'minion.' A soquili I can consider to be my 'right hand b***h,' you know? But don't get me wrong, I don't want my new friend to outshine me in anyway {I'm totes a jealous soquili when it comes to others outshining me.}. My new buddy must be as short as me, seeing how I'm a fairly short soquili to begin with. I wouldn't want my new friend to tower over me like a giant nor should my friend be any smaller than I am because then I wouldn't want to be towering over them!! Oh sure, I'll eventually back stab them down the road- whether it be in my favorite form of boyfriend stealing or something more serious than that- but she'll just have to suck it up and get over it. I admit, I may not sound like I have the qualities of 'best friend material' but hey, I can't be the only soquili out there that doesn't do that to a friend once in a while; I'm not perfect you know. In the end, however, we'll forgive each other and just continue on with our lives together as two peas in a pod; well, that is until I pull another one of my little stunts again, anyway. -smiles-
10 Things I Like: [in no particular order] 1)Carousel Themed/ Carousel inspired 2)Natural Coloring/ Natural Patterns [like... animal or leopard print for example xD] 3)extra leg feathering 4)Long, flowing hair 5)Certain clothing/horse tack {ex: scarves, glasses, hoods, bandannas, collars, sashes- like draping cloth type things-, ribbons and bows, saddles, bridles and so forth} 6)Curly/ Fluffy Hair 7)Sheep/Goats cool Punk inspired [from the hair styles like mohawks, to the piercings, to tattoos, down to even the accessories] 9)Horns (Ram & four horns specifically) 10)Hybrids
10 Things I Don’t Like: 1)No manes 2)Bright and obnoxious colors 3)Minis [don't get me wrong, I have nothing against them. I just have too many in my herd, that's all haha] 4) Butt stamps [like the cutie markings that MLP's have...] 5)Skin tone 6)Aquatic Soquili 7)blood [like a little bit is fine but nothing over the top.]
What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? a newly blossomed, red flower that she came across her travels. Sure, it is so out of character for Briella to be picking flowers but this particular one just happened to get my attention.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother Race (first choice): Cerynei Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Cerynei ?? XD What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Her fathers Unicorn horn, and a pale blue beaded necklace that had been her fathers. Short IC Response: It had been many months since Figment had even thought of leaving her snowy mountain home. The thought of another knowing of her existence was unfathomable to her. She relished in the thought and idea that she was but a figment of everyone's imagination, and not once since her fathers passing had she ventured out without the snow storms that hid her so well. But a light in the sky had drawn Figments attention, even through the white clouds overhead. She set forth, to get a clear view of the light - she had to be sure of what it was, for she as a child had been told stories and tales of a bright star that granted the wishes of those that wished upon it. Before she knew it her travels had taken her down the mountain's rocky face into the forest below, and soon afterwards to a small clearing. In the lush green grass the solid white mare stood out vividly. She stared at the star above for quite some time - This had to be the wishing star her parents had told her about. She blinked a few times pondering what it was that she would wish for, whether or not she had anything to wish for. Tears began to well in her eyes as a thought crossed her mind, and she knew instantly what it was to wish for. "Star..." She began, softly speaking as she tried her best to keep from being choked up by her sadness. "If you are truly the wishing star my parents told me about... If you could, please... My mother; Father never told me what happened to her. I assume she is gone, he would not have returned without her. But... If she is out there... If she is still alive... Bring her home... Please..." She finally could not speak any more. She had always been told that the star had to be left an offering, and begrudgingly she pulled out the only things she had left to remind her of either of her parents - her fathers pale blue jewelry and his horn. She left them on the ground where she stood before quickly turning and fleeing into the woods, retreating back to snowy home.
