Before taking a bite out of her sandwich, Gwen heard Daisuki say he was having a rough day and placed a comforting hand on his shoulder. “Don’t worry. It should get better.” It was then the girl that was also in their class introduced herself. Not wanting to seem rude, Gwen held out her hand as she spoke. “Gwen Bonnet. Nice meeting you.” After a quick handshake with Saiya, Gwen took a bite out of her sandwich just as another girl showed up, this one wrapping her arms around Daisuki. She recognized the girl. She was the one that was hopping up and down in the hall, causing the boys to nosebleed. The girl’s actions then made Gwen made her face palm and her actions now made her wanting to now, but she had to keep composed or at least try too which was hard to do seeing how red the boy was getting. “I remember you. You’re the one hopping in the hall and giving the guys panty shots. Care to let go of my friend, please? He needs to breath after all.“ Gwen's voice was surprisingly calm, almost professional. Now if only her comment was.. <><><>*<><><>
Snickering as Aya covered her mouth to keep from laughing, Kairi smiled. She always wondered how she could make her friends laugh when she wasn’t trying to. “Thanks, Aya. I should be able to get back into track in a few days. Once the light headedness subsides.” With that, the girl began eating her lunch, until she heard Andrei asked about the chopsticks. Wow. That brought back memories. Looking up, Kairi swallowed, making sure her mouth was empty before answering. “Those are for you to eat with.” She then set down her dish and held up her hand to show how to hold the sticks. She was about to explain till Aya got up and began helping the boy. But the way she was going at it only made Kairi stifle a laugh and shake her head before leaning over to Seriana and whispered into her ear, careful not to breath on her “If she keeps this up, he’ll be public enemy number one with the rest of the boys.” When their friend rejoined them, Kairi looked back at Andrei and spoke again. “I have a fork in my bag, if you want to use it instead until you get the hang of the chopsticks.“ It was then, Kairi heard another voice and looked up to see a girl After hearing her request, the girl smiled and nodded her approval for her to have a seat.

*Saito was on his way to next class when someone called out his name...in a rather disrespectful way*
"Hey, Kurosaki! Looks like I found you, you punk!"
*The dark-haired student's facial expression changed to one of pure annoyance. He stood still as he gathered a breath and turned around to address the student*
"Tomoya, there you are. Just when I thought the school was cleaned out of all scum, you arrive to shoot down all of my hopes. Nice going."
*The boy known as Tomoya was a stupid-looking brute with bleached hair that was mid length on his face and light-blue eyes. He was delinquent that rolled with his own posse and went around making hell for teaches and students alike. There were only a select handful of students that Tomoya couldn't touch, like Saiyori and Aya. But Saito was his favorite to pick on because of their interaction last year. Domestic problems with his girlfriend drove her into Saito's unwilling arms and ever since then he had to deal with this student*
*But adding to that fire was Saito's attitude to everything. Tomoya hadn't really noticed it before, but he saw Saito's lone wolf style of living as a silent superiority complex. Tomoya believes that Saito thinks he's better than everyone at Gakko, including him. And he couldn't stand that. Walking up to him, the bully decided to let the student have it*
"Yeah yeah. You always manage to talk garbage, but I've never seen you throw a single punch. As if you could. You're so weak you'd probably end up hurtin' yourself."
"Whatever you say, Tomoya. Look, I have class so can this wait until I actually feel like dealing with you? Thanks."
*With that, Saito started to walk away from the noisy classmate, but Tomoya was persistent*
"Where are you going?! You always have some snappy comeback, but you never want to fight! Come on! It's a new school year and I'm ready to break your high-and-mighty a** into a million pieces!"
"First of all, you have issues. Second of all, why would I sully my record and my hands from beating you senseless? It's pointless to get caught up with someone like you. Now leave me alone. I've got work to do. And I do believe you have detention to get to. So hop to it, loser."
------------
*Saiya committed Gwen's name to memory as the two exchanged pleasantries. She then popped open her bento and started to eat. She was about to engage the conversation when another girl suddenly appeared out of nowhere and started hugging Daisuki from behind and saying some really worrisome stuff that caused her blush a bit*
*After looking to what Gwen said, she then redirected her gaze to the pair. She was now confused on what was taking place*
"Wait...isn't that Koizumi-san's girlfriend?"

Christina nearly dropped to the ground in relief. Taking a seat at the table, she couldn't help but smile awkwardly at her hands. The girl paused, staying silent for nearly ten seconds. Realizing the silence at the table, she jerked her head up and stuck out her hand politely. To anyone who would shake, of course.
"I-I'm Christina. It's nice to meet you all." Stammering through the sentence didn't help her nervousness, nor did the sideways glance at Andrei. With a sigh, she pinched the bridge of her nose with her free hand.
"I'm a bloody fool sometimes, I just realized that."

Andrei couldn't thank Aya enough for helping him. "Spasibo! Eh...I mean thank you for your help."
He took a bite of a piece of sushi. It was a piece of raw salmon on top of rice wrapped together with a piece of seaweed. He had never eaten any kind of sushi before, however the taste was out of this world to him. The Japanese food seemed to have a dramatic difference in taste compared to the Russian cuisine he had grown accustomed to.
He watched as the new girl took her seat, he was delighted to see a familiar face amongst the group of girls. He failed to stop himself from a slight chuckle as the girl commented about being a fool. A disagreement left his lips.
"Nyet, moi droog. Forgive me, I have a bad habit of speaking Russian. What I am trying to say is, no you're not a fool. You just do foolishly funny things. But, everyone's guilty of that."
:: Meanwhile, from Kiyomi's point of view. "
Hugging the poor boy even tighter, the girl heard the voice pass through her ears as she looked over and saw who exactly was asking such a question. Her eyes caught that of Gwen's. With as sly grin, she released Daisuke from her rather awkward embrace, and rested her arms on his shoulders. Gwen's comment preceeding the question gave Kiyomi quite a chuckle.
"Panty shots, you say? But, I was just being playful. Did not expect such perverted reactions."
With a slight playful sigh, she pat her hands over Daisuke's head. Her eyes still staring into Gwen's, she continued to converse with the stranger.
"Now why would I want to let go of such a cute, cuddly kid like him...Oh, I see."
Kiyomi giggled before finishing.
"I apologize. I couldn't help myself, he's just so adorable, and he looks so cuddly. I couldn't resist. But, don't worry my new friend, there's no need to worry. I'm not interested in dating him, he's alllll yours. I just like how cuddly he can be."
Kiyomi knew she would get some sort of reaction out of Gwen from such a comment. She smiled ever so innocently, but that innocent face should not be convincing anyone...and if it is, then I do not care to know such a person.

*Saiya was slightly confused as the girl stared at Gwen and answered her question. The way the scene looked to Saiya was that Gwen might have had a thing for Daisuke, and either this girl was teasing her about it or challenging her for him. Either way, it didn't involve the blonde so she just ate a bit more of her lunch before returning to the scene*
"So...did you want to join us?"
------------
*Saito had said his peace and was ready to leave the situation, which was apparent by him walking away. But Tomoya couldn't let him go. He had practically dissed him in front of a growing crowd of students. Feeling the anger rise through a visible vein on the side of his head, Tomoya decided to let his feelings be heard*
"You act like you're so cool, but you're just a nobody! A freak whose parents died in plane crash! You think so you're damn special and high and mighty, but really you're scared little punk whose trying to act tough! If you think you got the balls to take me on, then get back here and prove it!"
*The hallway was dead silent as the delinquent went on his rant. Saito had stopped walking once his little speech had struck a nerve. While it wasn't a secret that Saito's parents perished in a plane explosion, no one ever talked to him about it much less spoke of it so uncaringly. The black-haired teen stood perfectly still until the rant was over. His bangs had covered his eyes momentarily*
"Tomoya.....do you really want to fight me?"
*The boy snickered and dropped his bag before settling in a fighting stance*
"Hell yeah. Let's do this."
*Saito quickly whipped around and was heading straight for the boy. His eyes were ablaze with rage as he zeroed in on his only target. He was going to make him regret this day. Make him regret ever opening his mouth and challenging him. He was going to show him, show him just how outclassed he really was*
"Yo! That's enough!"

Jacob listen to Isamu tell him about this Mr. Tanaka. To him it didn't matter, just meant it was easier for him to doze off. He smirked and responded a bit jokingly.
Jacob - Sounds like my kinda teacher. I can sure catch up on my sleep then.
Part of him really wasn't kidding, but he would try and stay up, but he wasn't going to count on it. He then only chuckled at Isamu when she wrinkled her nose and stuck her tongue out. She really was a goofy girl.
The two of them had some time before their next class so they began to walk around for a bit. She then asked him about clubs. He casually put his hands behind his head and looked out the window towards the school's track.
Jacob - Well one's a no brainer, Aya will drag me into the track team so I don't have a choice their. Now as for the fall....*thinks*....since there's no football here.....well American football, I might play basketball. I seem to have the height advantage here.
Jacob was also ready to run track again. It was something he's good at and enjoys it. Football is his other best sport but seeing how he really can't play it here he might as well do basketball given his height of 6'2, plus it help that he can dunk the ball. As of other clubs he doesn't know much about them.
Jacob - What about you? Are you in any clubs?
>>>>>>>>>>>
Aya looked at how Andrei and the new girl to join them, Christina, where talking. It seems they have met each other at least once before this. She giggled slightly at Andrei switching back to his native language. So he was from Russia huh? Very interesting to say the least.
Aya - Don't worry about it Andrei. Kairi here was like that for a while when I first met her.
>>>>>>>>>>>
All Daisuke could do at the moment was sit there at blush heavily. He really didn't know what to say or how to deal with a situation like this. As the conversation he kept hearing the girl calling him a kid. It seems like people still thought that he skip some grades up. He could at least clear this up. He spoke up a bit, even though his voice was a but shaken a bit, easy to hear he was embarrassed.
Daisuke - Um....you do know....I'm 14 right?....I'm not really a 'kid'......

Glancing over to Jacob, Isamu chuckled slightly. "I suppose it would make sense. Aya can be quite convincing." When he mentioned football Isamu immeidiately thought of soccer before he corrected himself. "Gave no thought to the other football? Americans call it soccer, right? It runs all year since it's done both indoor and oudoor. Course the rules are slightly different for both. I would say you have the body of a striker if I ever saw one."
The comment, meant to be a compliment soon took a turn in her head. Not realizing until this moment the gravity of what she said. It caused her to blush a deep shade of rose before stammering an apology. "W-w-wait! That totally came out all wrong.. I only meant to-" Isamu sighed in resignation before trying in vain to change the subject. "Perhaps basketball is a better choice after all."
The blunder was still dwelt upon as she continued walking although not as apparent. Her thoughts slowly turned to his questions of clubs. "Well I had no plans to join any of the social clubs.. They.. aren't really my thing anymore. I was considering rejoining the kendo team. Coach Ishihara cornered me this morning. Besides, I have to start looking into enrolling in 'cram school'. That may end up taking a lot of my time anyhow." Her silly little giggle returned, although it was a little more of an awkward and uncomfortable laugh this time around. She really wasn't up for socializing in groups. Things were still not completely settled with her yet. Good not to be around when stress hit her. Clubs had a strange way of bringing that out of her. At least the physical activity involved with kendo helped quell such things.
The pair had finally made their way to their classroom, but Isamu stopped outside the door, leaning up against the adjacent wall. She was content to talk here for a while until break was completely over.

Kairi chuckled a little at Christina’s actions and went back to eating her lunch. This might turn out to be an interesting year. At least the first day will be. She also noticed Andrei kept slipping into his native language . She didn’t understand it, but recognized it to be Russian. She had taken a bite of her lunch just as Aya said her name, so she blushed and rubbed the back of her head while waiting for her mouth to clear. “It’s true. I still do some times.” She then ended the sentence with a nerves chuckle. <><><>*<><><>
Gwen calmly sighed, keeping her composure despite a light bush appearing across her face. Seeing how this girl was acting, she wanted to get Gwen’s reaction, so she tried not to give her any “He’s not a teddy bear nor is he my boyfriend. We’re just friends and I look after him.” The girl then looked at Saiya after hearing her ask the new girl if she was joining them and looked back at Daisuke. She knew he was really embarrassed and wasn’t used to the attention the new girl was giving him.

Chucking ever so innocently at Daisuke's comment, Kiyomi replied with a rather simple answer...
"Oh, I'm fully aware you're my age...but I can't help but call you a kid because you're so...you're so... You're so FRIGGIN ADORABLE!!!"
She squeezed the poor ki- I mean young man once more before she heard Gwen's voice and looked up with a deviously cute look on her face. It was then she stood up straight and composed...yes this is possible for Kiyomi, I actually did not believe such a thing myself. Kiyomi cleared her throat and out came her mouth was a reply.
"Now you see, dear madam. This young sir is indubitably adorable, and quite fun to engage in the act of huggling and cuddling with. However I do very much apologize if you disapprove of such actions...Now, I'm Kiyomi, nice to meet you, lady!"
And with such a magnificent display of sarcastic elegance, Kiyomi runs over and holds her hand out to her new friend with a big innocent smile on her face.
:: Back to Andrei ::
"I see...that's rather interesting."
Andrei raised his brow with Aya's claim of Kairi slipping into her native language as well. He was rather anxious to know more about the girl. With his chopsticks in hand, he took a piece of sushi and slipped it into his mouth, chewing and swallowing it down before he continued the conversation. Looking up with a look of interest, his attention was mainly centered around Kairi.
"So, Kairi...san. Where are you from? "
He attempted to add a Japanese honorific when referring to Kairi, he was still getting used to the change of language in Japan. He simply waited patiently to hear what Kairi had to say about herself.

Because Jacob was still looking at the track he didn't see Isamu's initial reaction when she mention him being a striker. He knew nothing of soccer so his mind was trying to figure out if she was complimenting him. After a while he just took it as one. "That's the problem I have no idea what that even is-" He then finally looked towards her and saw her blushing and heard her start to stumble over her words. It then hit him how bad that it could have been taken. It caused him a blush a faintly but somewhat keep his composure. "It's fine.....I think I know what you meant be it....."
It was then she changed to subject to talk about her cram school. After hearing that it had him sigh a bit. "That's too bad. You really do have the figure of a track runner, mid distant if I do say so myself."Now what Jacob said also could be taken in many ways as well but he was only thinking in an athlete mind set. The same couldn't be said about his new friend but to him, the other ways it could have been taken never crossed his mind. When they finally reached the classroom he leaned up against the wall across from her so they could keep talking. "But kendo is the thing the the wooden swords right? I don't mean to pry but, I think if you want to do it, your gardian should let you. That and I've never really seen kendo, so I think I'd be neat to watch."
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Aya only giggled a bit before she continued her meal. She then looked over to Christina and smiled. "I wouldn't call you a fool deary. You're just a bit shy, nothing wrong with that." Aya's smile was very heart warming. She wanted to do what she could to help Christina not feel so nervous around them. Aya had been told many times her smile had a way to calm people down when first meeting her.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
When the over hyperactive girl started to squeez poor Daisuke, all he could was flaunt him arms helplessly. It was then his childhood friend spoke up to 'save him'. He was now able to breathe and he now saw Kiyomi's speech change. Was she trying to mock Gwen or just show that she could speak well like Gwen could. He just signe"d and had a few more bites of his food. He then looked over to Saiya who has been very quiet. "S-So, Takada-chan, are you from around here? What middle school did you go to?" Daisuke was doing what he could to try and start normal talk and not to isolate Saiya from them.

*Saiya had taken a few bites of her lunch while the rest of group engaged in their craziness. She didn't have a comment one way or the other. While Daisuke did look adorable, she knew better than to massively invade someone's personal space and they hadn't even met yet. She knew that it would bug her if someone did it to her, so she reserved herself to just eating until Daisuke came to her with a question. She stopped eating and smiled at him before engaging in the conversation*
"Yeah, I live close by. I'm from the Genjo area with my brother, Yousei. We live in the compound on the hill. And I went to Yokozuma Middle School. How about you, Koizumi-san?"
------------
*The actions in the hallway ceased as the attention shifted to the owner of the voice that called out to the ones about to fight. He stood at 5'8'' and wore a school uniform, which meant he was a student here. His brown hair was short and swept to the side while green eyes peered at them from behind a pair of glasses. This was the 4th-year student of Gekko High and President of the Kendo Club, Ginrei Aoba*
*Tomoya frowned as the student quickly got himself in between the troublemaker and Saito*
"Now guys. We just got back into school. Is it really the time to be getting yourselves into trouble already?"
"Outta of the way, Ginrei! This doesn't concern you!"
"Oh but it does. Because you see, I haven't gotten the chance to tell you yet. I'm the new Hall Monitor for this term. That means if you try to start any kind of ruckus in this school, my shinai and I will give you a grave punishment as well as a few suspensions. Now, would you like to be first on my list Uzuki Tomoya-san?"
*The way he stated that last sentence was enough to get Tomoya to back off. With Aoba being the president of the kendo club, it was no secret that his skill was top notch. The man was genius with a sword, almost as if he had been bred for kendo. And no matter how hard Tomoya tried to fight him, he'd be at a major disadvantage. He merely spat on the ground and picked up his bag*
"Tch. I don't have time for this. I'm outta here. You better stay the hell out of my way, Kurosaki. Or I'll get you for sure next time."
*As the delinquent left with his group, Aoba sighed and turned to Saito, who was still standing there*
"Now that was a close call eh, Saito-kun?"
"Why....Why did you get involved?"
"Huh? Why did I get involved? Well you see I-"
*Suddenly Saito grabbed Aoba and pushed him into the wall*
"I didn't need your damn help, Aoba!"
"Well I was trying to keep you from making a mistake. That's what friends do for each other, right?"
*Upset, Saito let go for the kendo captain and retrieved his own bag before walking to his class*
"Just stay out of my life, Aoba."
*The 4th-year student recovered from the grab and watched Saito slip behind the corner. All he could was sigh as his eyes held a melancholy expression for his friend*
So much pain rests inside your heart. If only you learned to let it go...

((I'm gonna auto Soren just a bit. Just to move lunch along already. lol. ))
The others in the small huddle of seniors around Saiyori all began to notice the interactions between Soren and Saiyori. Least to say it took some of them by surprise, only for the fact that Soren seemed to be treated slightly differently then anyone other male who's spoken to her. Saiyori was very much all smiles and kind, however they sensed an odd edge to Saiyori's words and a slightly less then sincere smile upon her face.
But was most curious was how she nearly seemed to forget about the others around her as she and Soren continued to throw words back and forth at each other. He, for whatever reason, was able to draw her attention completely. Maybe it was just because he was bothering her in a way she disliked or could not handle, or whatever. The fact remained the same, they saw a slightly different side to Saiyori then anyone else saw. It wasn't displeasing, in fact it was a relief to see that she was very much human like the rest of them and that she too can become exasperated with another human being.
Their slightly bickering conversation about her lunch box and what really had made her spot eating ended the moment Saiyori moved to stand.
"I just remembered I have some things to discuss with the homeroom teacher." It was then that her eyes finally turned to look upon the others who had sit down to join lunch, flashing that oh-so-familiar smile," See you guys in class."
After a gentle nod of her head she picked up her things and left.
The others watched, some bemused, others in awe, and over three fourths of the guys there with heavy hearts. Suddenly eyes turned to Soren.
"You two going out?"
"I didn't know you talked to Saiyori, how long you guys been friends?"
"HOW? HOW did you do it!?"
Least to say, Soren was surrounded by questions as to what his relationship was with her, while some of the eyes questioned how he was able to get Saiyori's attention while so many of them had been so flatly dismissed and friend-zoned. How they wish they could have been on the receiving end of that gentle argument with Saiyori...What exactly made him so special?
Meanwhile, Siaiyori had made her way into the school building, but instead of making her way to the teacher's lounge to find the homeroom teacher, she made her way towards a quite floor and made a call on her cell.
" What was so important that you had to call me during school..?" Saiyori asked the mysterious person on the other end.

*Saito left the intense scene with the bully and the kendo president to his classroom that was starting soon. The black-haired student took his seat by the window and proceeded to stare aimlessly outside. His thoughts once again weren't very concentrated as he waited for class to start. So many things floated around his head that he truly felt like skipping the rest of the day. But since it was the first day, he wouldn't have any of that. He just decided to hang on until the bell rang. Then, he would go running to clear his mind and refocus himself on his objective*
Yeah....That sounds like a plan...
------------
*Saiya was having a nice time with the small group of 1st years, but even she knew that lunch was about to end soon. She still needed to find where the rest of her classes were. Finishing up her food and putting her bento away, she stood up and gave a small bow to her new acquaintances*
"Well, I must be going now. Don't want to be late for class. It was fun talking to you guys. Let's do this again sometime. See you around."
*With that, the blonde picked up her bag and exited from the cafeteria*
------------
*Yousei's lunch was just as nice as Saiya's. He caught up with some old friends he hadn't seen since their vacation while also enjoying his time with the new girl, Tomo. Of course, his friends got on him about his summer school studies, his obsession with kendo, and his looming crush on Aya. The boy could only blush and laugh this off, with the occasional death glare*
*Looking at his watch, he saw that it would be time to leave soon. He packed up his belongings and proceeded to go to class with his friends*

"We just met her this morning," Gwen replied to Saiya's question before continuing eating her lunch and just watched as Kiyomi started speaking. The young French girl knew that this hyper girl was mocking her and she really wanted to hang her up by her skirt. Yet, Gwen showed no sign of annoyance, not even an eye twitch. I'm surprised you know such big words..Swallowing the bite of sandwich, the girl finally answered before finishing her lunch. "Gwen Bonnet." <><><>*<><><>
"I'm from the U.S. Born in Carolina and grew up in New York. And please, just call me Kairi." Ending the sentence with a Smile, Kairi continued eating, finishing what little bit that was left, then just patently sat there, enjoying the company and was willingly to answer any questions even though she hated being the center of attention.

"It would be nice for my guardian to back off and let me decide, but I suppose life just isn't fair sometimes." Isamu's sigh was one of resignation as her body language momentarily reflected how hopeless and lonely she felt. She looked off in the distance, through the window behind Jacob and folded her arms. "Maybe if I'm a good little girl, I won't be homeschooled after all." Her last comment was dripping with a seething sarcasm, but the emotion had to be kept in check at all costs. No one must know what's truly going on, plus it was unfair to unload all that swirling emotion onto her classmates.
School was school, home was home; the two at this point aren't meant to blend together. Isamu merely huffed quietly to herself and changed the subject. Not sure, I'd be good enought to make the track team to be honest. I always feel like I'm a duck running in place." Isamu thought on it more and simply shrugged, it was something to consider at least. Maybe she could skip out on cram school and attempt to test out. Academics were always a strength, not a liability. "Perhaps you should check out kendo yourself. I could bring you up to speed on how to do it if you like." The girl beamed at her new friend. If she couldn't do as she wished she could at least feel useful. Plus it was an excuse not to leave the grounds and deal with HIM.
