Bea's scream made Selene's heart jump out of her body and run down the hallway on it's own legs, screeching bloody murder. Seeing as she only had moments before she dissipated from lack of a heart, Selene quickly snagged Shun's form when it was held out to her, and turned it around to read it. She choked when she read it, and stared up at the reaper in agony. "Mercy kill?" She squeaked, actually speaking at an audible tone. "Why would you.. how could you.." She added his paper to the pile, keeping her eye on him warily, until she heard her name, and turned around. Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope And Selene went screaming off in the same manner as her heart.

Shun glanced up at the professor. He still could swear he had seen her somewhere before.
"What. Would you rather them to bleed out slowly on their own in whatever agony they're curr--" he started to say in a rather flat tone but stopped as she began shrieking her head off.

"Shun, what did you do to her?" Mot asked in a flat tone, his eyes lidding, unimpressed.

X languidly watched Selene take off, his form remaining still. He turned his head to peer, eyelessly, at Shun.
X tilted his head curiously. "Why not assist them?" His views were his own. This was a DETH trip; the least the substitute could do would be to play nicely with the ideals of others, as childishly idealistic as he found them.
He turned to the boil in the cowboy hat. "The fault is mine. She was not expecting my presence."

Mot frowned deeply and sighed. "If we come across a bleeding human, at least make some attempt to help before ending their lives?"
"Oh. I see." Mot nodded, shrugging to Shun apologetically. "My bad."

Mitsu held her paper out but the teacher ran off screaming before it could be collected. Furrowing her brows she rolled her eyes before turning to look at Mot.
"His answers were on the more violent side..." It was only the truth.

"Do I look like a medic? Some injuries are too grave. Ending it sooner than letting it draw out would be assisting," Shun said plainly, first to Mot but addressing the.... tall shadowy faceless man thing next. Ah. So it was his fault for causing the snake woman to flee then. The Reaper was wondering if the idea of a human dying had seriously frightened her that badly.
Hearing Mitsu, he glanced to her next.
"Violent yes, but it is just how things are."

The hell spawn's eye rolled over to the rat man. Looking to him, then his beer, the demon downed the last remains. "What drink?" A little fire, and the label burned away. No evidence. Not like he had a horde of cider laying around. Still Rengath reached over, holding a bag of finger chips out. "Have a bite Norvie. I'm waiting for kumbaya to start echoing in the hallways as well as a petition for vegan blood to start floating around." His face twisted in distaste. "I loath to imagine a day Ginger sets us all on a human 'friendly' menu." He used claw quotes even. "But someone let those two human huggers into the school, so I'm enjoying what I can while I can."

Mot's gaze moved from Shun, to X, to Mitsu and back to Shun. A heavy sigh escaped hm and he drooped in his seat, slouching heavily.
"One field trip. All I ask is for one field trip where violence isn't the answer..."

X's lengthy form slithered towards Shun's, a pale, spindly white hand curling around his shoulder. "Should a human be injured," he intoned, voice still deadpan, "that does not mean they are without...their uses."
FEAR harvesting, for one.
"But a lesson for another time, I suppose. Do not assume that every path is the same. It would be folly."
With that, he disappeared in a blink, his shadow shape sliding from Shun's to Mot's with fluidity. He spoke from the ground, pressed against it, his voice slightly quieter, emanating from just behind Mot's ears as he reformed from the fabric of darkness.
"Violence may be his answer. It does not need to be yours."

"Oh of course. They may contain information and fear. I wouldn't finish them off first and then try to get such things," Shun said in his own deadpan tone. His gaze shifted from Mot and X before shrugging lightly. The way the professor moved was rather interesting to say in the least, similar to the way he shadow stepped.
"I already know we take different paths."
After all, the cowboy had stayed behind.

Junko was easily fooled, just happy to see Mitsu back and Shun seemingly um...happy again? Was he happy? It was hard to tell as the boil always seemed to have one facial expression even during the most joyous of occasions. She sat down beside Lizzy with her head on the ghoul's shoulder, making the happiest little noise until she heard that voice in her head. Junko shivered, looking up to see Professor QB on the stage. It had been so long since she had a voice in her head...it was weird how it was mildly odd to her all of a sudden. She frowned, staying quiet while listening to what the professor had to say. A voice in her head wouldn't have made her jump and look around in a slight panic months ago... Her hair picked up the survey for her to read, grabbing a pen as well. This shouldn't be hard. But from what I've read they're just like us! Only with a lot less extra appendages, their hair doesn't move unless it's in the wind, and they can't do real magic. What do Humans eat? Lots of things! I love human recipes! A lot of their food is actually really similar to ours with a few changed ingredients here and there. It's fascinating! What do Humans do in their spare time? I'm not sure! Maybe they do things like we do? Hang out with their friends, cook, read, do sports (do they have sports?). They must so something, because their fear of things is what created all of Halloween...and you have to do things to be afraid of them..? If that makes sense. What is the best way to check you are scaring a healthy Human? What is a healthy human like? What is the difference between a Human and citizen of Halloween? We are made of Fear! They are not. If you saw a Human who was hurt, what would you do? Um...that's tough to say. Would I know they're human and not a Hunter trying to trick me? I'd like to say I would just help them immediately, the me from a year ago would have said that, but I think I would try and help them from a distance. Maybe find someone to help them to keep myself safe. There! That all seemed reasonable! Junko stood to walk over and offer Selene her survey until the professor...ran away. Wh..what...? "Um...is..is she...?" Oh, the other professor startled her. Okay that was..understandable? Maybe? ...Kind of..? Suddenly that professor also disappeared, reappearing behind Shun. She gasped, eyes wide. "That is so cool..."

Norvie sighed, rolling his eyes as the bottle was disposed of before carefully helping himself to a chip, "You know... I've always been confused as to how Blood can be Vegan... is it the way it's processed?" Norvie honestly had no problems with Humans. They made good test subjects, for one, reproduced quickly and were all sorts of receptive to various chemical reactions but he rather liked them, deep down. They were cute. He might have... run with a rough crowd when he was younger but, well. It was always good to be open to things and possibilities. "I do hope this will help settle them down a bit. With er... everything going on, it's quite healthy to be getting the other side of things, you know? All of their facts before they form an opinion." Not that the things they'd learn from Deth were really... facts but... well. The perspective was what was important.

Christof nodded in approval as the teacher ran screaming from his form. Clearly he had filled it out properly. Task well accomplished, the hunchback lurched his way back to his seat triumphantly. Enzo, meanwhile, returned Bea's greeting with a second spit-ball, a grin, and a wiggle of his fingers.
