[Ovan Maxwell]

Eliza landed on the newfallen snow and shuffled her feet about, "I knew that, Im not new to this."

Jay raised his hands and shrugged "Hey, I was just checking. So is that a yes or a no. Is ice all you control?"

Eliza grided her theeth a little, "Yes, braniac." She muttered, playing with the snow.

Jay smiled slightly "Wow your fiesty. Good. Now," he raised his hands again "Come at me. Id say dont worry if you cut me but I dont think htat will a be problem with you."

Eliza nodded and charged at him with full haste. One hand held her dagger while the other one converted into an icy claw for cutting. She slashed up with the claw while going horizontal with the blade.

Jay ducked and rolled onto his back. he raised his legs and crosssed his feet over her hand holding the dagger. He twisted his feet and the dagger flew out of her hand as is his heel his the pressure point in her wrist. He let his feet drop and kicked her legs so dhe fell. He stood up and dusted himself off. "That, was horrible" he said crossing his arms.

Eliza fell onto her back, fearfull at the moment, "Fine... Ok, so im not as good as I think... There, happy?" She smiled, blowing a bit of ice to bind his hands and feet. She did her best to kick him in the stones, but decided the stomach was a more sensible option.

Jay laughed and spun around. "Eron!" Fire licked up his body melting the ice. "Dont you know how to make unmeltable ice." he asked mockingly.

Eliza's eyes looked away from him, "Shu-shut up!" She shouted weakly.

Jay smiled "its ok. I can show you if you like."  

[Ovan Maxwell]

Eliza closed her eyes and nodded reluctantly. She needed to be stronger... A thousand times stronger if she wanted to be like Zoje.

Jay rolled his shoulders and held his hand out in front of him "Okay, so fire is heat. And the heat melts the ice." he conjured a small ball of flames in his hand. "To make the ice unmeltable you have to combine the two." he held up his other hand and formed a small ice shard "You with me so far?"

Eliza nodded, struggling to make a flame. She closed her eyes, knowing it was much harder than ice for her. It eventualy made a small sustained flame.

Jay smiled "There you go. Congratulations. You can now conjure fire and ice. Now put your hands together and in your mind picture the relationship the two ahve." he brought hid hands together. WHen the two elements touched they sparked brightly.

Eliza thought it over romanticly: The two were always drawn together, fearing to meet for the pain it would cause. She pressed her hands together, imagining the two of them creating completely perfect love.
