Lol, don't worry. I don't go to many places, so you're not TOO publicized. ; )

Good, as that's what I was going for, of course! : O

Lotions and chapstick are a fact of life here no matter what time of year it is. Our humidity level is, like, ten percent, year-round. =.=;

Snow IS beautiful, I suppose. I just can't look at the black sludge that collects on the roads and sidewalks when I walk home from school... o.o;; *not a fan of snow* *less a fan of heat, though* =.=

When flash storms happen here, people lose their homes, 'cause our dirt is too rocky and dry instead of spongy and absorbant, causing excessive runoff. O.O; But our early mornings are absolutely gorgeous. >.< Everything is all crisply cold 'cause it hasn't warmed up yet, and there's more moisture 'cause the sun wasn't there to evaporate everything... But we live in valleys, so our viewing range isn't exactly huge. XD Our mountains, though... +.+ <3

Yeah. It generally comes effortless to me. I dunno why. o.o;

Well, I would die for those I love, but ask me to call them every day or write weekly and you'll find me less than enthusiastic. It could be that I'm just too secure about thinking they'll always be there or something, but that's the way I am. My more socially inclined friends often have dramatic implosions about my "neglect". rolleyes

Yes! : O You can try lots of things on him, like "Omi sleeping" and "Omi is groggy" and "Omi Cosplays?!?"... >: D

We get a half an hour lunch. o.o; But it's not resting off my feet that makes me like breaks--I'm a telecommunicator, I sit on my a** all day and convince people they deserve to pay my company outrageous amounts of cash for mediocre products. >.< I like the mental rest. You wouldn't believe how many things telecommunicators have to concentrate on during every call...

She looks good! o.o I've used tektek once or twice. There's just too many objects, though, and I eventually just get overwhelmed and quit. >.<

Well, Zhorm (baby's more paternal daddy) is an interesting contrast from Omirao--IE:

Skin--dark(think Arabian/Indian/NativeAmerican/Hispanic), with the occasional patch of reddish, scaleoid material, causing a faint glint in the right kind of lighting (like when someone wears glitter?)

Hair--Thick, dark brown locks of simmilar appearance to dreadlocks. They're actually vestigial antennae, sensing pheromones like a second sense of smell. They move like hair, with no muscles or anything to make them dance around like Medusa's snakes. They don't grow like hair, however, and thus don't need to be trimmed (do people trim their eardrums or tongue? O.o), rather they start off really short and grow with the child, reaching between shoulder-blade and "I'll sit on you" length, depending on the person, by adulthood (early fourties). Zhorm's hair was full grown, and reached to just above his hips.

Eyes--Yellow, with a slit pupil (much like a cat's, except the slit tilted outward like some lizards' do)

Build--Omirao is under four feet tall. Zhorm is 6'7". >.<; Both are thin, though Omi is slightly more stocky in appearance (due more to his height than anything else). Zhorm is super slender in build. o.o

Properties--Zhorm is, despite his exotic appearance and height, slightly weaker than the average human of the same build, but he is super fast and is double jointed just about everywhere. >.< As far as magic goes, his people are strangely adept at rituals and spirit magic.

Ha ha. Hope you’re right.

Of course, I know you meant well. 3nodding You seem like a nice person.

Wow, well, that’d be fine by me. I like all those scented moisturisers made from fruits and things. XD And I like lip gloss and lipstick too. That’s about the only make up I wear except on windy days, ‘cause then the wind blows my hair straight into my lips and it gets gloss in it.

I’m a huge fan of snow, though I have to say, I’ve never experienced really deep snow drifts or heavy snow before. They have some great skiing spots in NZ though. Christchurch gets more snow than Dunedin.

I know all too well about the dirt. Our garden dirt is like ‘rocks with thin bits of dirt surrounding them’. =^_^= It floods easy here too. Fortunately the rainfall where I live is low enough that we haven’t had flash floods for a long time.

Last summer, areas around our town were flooding badly though. Roads were closed.

Lol. They must be good friends then, to still remain your friends even after having implosions.

Okay! That sounds like fun. Heeeee….where should I start? Um, how about; sleeping? Any particular drawing you want me to try? 4laugh

Ah, ha ha! Much mental strength is required by the sounds of that. I don’t do so well with telemarketers. Meaning they know they can easily convince me and unless I rudely hang up, I might end up buying something I really don't want. I have a tough time saying no. But I’m practising.

Aw, you quit that easy? :< It’s good to be able to play around with all those rare items. The ones out of your reach are now in your reach – as many as you want! biggrin That’s why I went back and tried it again after I thought about some different ‘looks’ I might like.

Hmm, that baby’s going to be a wonderfully interesting mixture alright. It sounds almost like some sort of concoction in a wizard’s laboratory, if you ask me. No doubt they’ll be fun to draw and write about. That mixture almost sounds a bit dangerous…

Seem? Of course I'm a nice person! I'm the nicest person ever! >: 3 *throws a flower at you*

Indeed. Usually they come to their senses when I grumpily spend an entire day with them. 9.9 Then they're sated for about a week or so.

Sleeping! >3< He sleeps on his stomach/half on his side most of the time. He's so cute! <3

Yeah, you'd really need to be able to say no in order to not spend a fortune just for calling in for a repair or somthing. >.<;

Yes. o.o Maybe if I actually took the time to really learn the suff and if my computer would load it all faster, but I just don't have the patience to get the know-how for all those items... >.< I quickly lose sight of what I was originally aiming for.

Lol, most likely I'm going to have to do some fancy dice rolling with the artist to find out how that all turns out. XD
PostPosted: Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:07 pm

Lol. Sorry, sorry. Of course you are. *flower: whaps me in the eye!* Ow! x.< Like I said... =^_^=

You spend it grumpily? Wouldn't it be more fun to spend time with them happily? Grumpy takes more energy.

Okay~! Sounds super cute. whee I'll give it a try. Should I draw him in normal clothes or the sort of thing he wears to sleep in? (whatever that may be).

I need to be able to say no to lots of things. But somehow my no often winds up being a 'yes'.

Fair enough. I get bamboozled trying to figure out how I want to use all the items too. Or if it takes too long to load, that's a pain. And then, other times, I get addicted to it and make sixty trillion different avatars... XP It's fun if you know what you're going for to start with and can keep with it.

Yay, dice roll! That reminds me of table top rpgs, which I've never tried but really want to one of these days. Lol.

Do you know who your artist is going to be or is it for whoever wants to draw it to decide?

ninja -pokes everyone; ninja
I wanted to feel the love. D;
But......
What the heck is a table top rpg? ^^;
And I think the artists here at the GMFC would have a lot of fun drawing the baby. :] They would have all kinds of creative freedom, which most artists I know enjoy.
-nods;
>.> Sorry to intrude....

Ki-Na~! =^_^= Hello.

You're not intruding at all, don't worry.

Um, well, I don't know if that's the correct term for them exactly ^///^; but they're like a giant board game mixed with a role playing game...sorta. There are different kinds and you rp your way through the game, using dice rolls and such to determine things (like the results in a battle against a monster and the damage you take. Or to discover your starting 'stats' for your character at the beginning of the game.) There was one on an episode of Yu-Gi-Oh and that got me intrigued. Lol. Some games you can even make up the entire battle board and the figures to go on it. I saw a LOTR themed one in our toy store here. biggrin

I think they're meant to be kinda 'nerdy' but I'd throw caution to the wind in that area and be a complete nerd - 'cause I'd enjoy playing them!

Hmm, they probably would. 3nodding

Your eye wasn't sucked to that vacuum earlier. >.< IT was sucked to your EYE, apparently! Ehh... Good luck with that eye, then..? XDD

Of course I'm happy during the day, but before we hang out and after I've gone home, I look at the things I had planned to do and feel a touch irked. 9.9

'Cause it is! >.< YAY!! Um... Normally when he sleeps he's only wearing bandages and boxers. XD (yes, he's found some in his size!) If that's too hard, though, then you can definitely draw him in normal clothes. ^^

Hear hear. T.T

I'm in a roleplay now that uses a dice and stat system! : O <3 The maker has so much detail... T.T~<3 I love detail.

Um, I actually don't know... I can't figure out how to find where the examples from the different GMFC artists would be to find the style I like the most. >.<;

Poor Kiana, all lonely in her thread. XD *luffs upon?*

All the dice rpgs I've played have been online; on Gaia, in fact. >.<; We just make stats as modifiers for our rolls and roll to find results for certain actions... It's not perfect, but no stat-based game really is. XD

It ALSO means I get to have a bunch of fun messing with baby to discover it's inner personality, yes? ; ) 'Cause if personality is genetic, well... o.o; One dad is a fairy, the other is evil, arrogant, and brutal.

*wears an eye patch* Rarr! pirate

Lol. I guess that's normal though. I have tons of things I want to do on my days off and then I don't get to do all of them, so I sometimes get annoyed. But then I think that 'some things are more important'...

Bandages and boxers...um...I think I can manage that. 3nodding I'll give it a try.

*blissful sigh* Detailed rps heart I like those kind a ton but they are hard to come by.

Oh, oh! I think I know. I think they're in the guild...somewhere. Maybe in the artists' application centre.

But you know, you can always look at different piccus of GMFC kids and see which picture was done by which artist. It usually says on the little name card thingy or on the front journal page where the main pictures of the character are.

EDIT: Okay, I know this seems pointless but I just figured something out! biggrin

If I gave you ten thousand gold, one thousand hundred times, that would amount to one million. So, if I give ten thousand gold two thousand hundred times, that will amount to two million.

So...

Yeah.

I'm gonna keep on giving. 3nodding

EDIT edit: Okay, so I completely suck at maths. XP And then I remembered we are going after twenty million here. *smacks self on forehead*

But you know, just trying to stay positive. And yeah, I will still keep donating. I want to do a fundraiser almost...

EEK! There is new stuffs! >.<

Don't fuss about editing posts; I actually prefer that a person posts a whole bunch of times in a row to editing, because gaia doen't mark edits as "new" so I sometimes don't see them for a long time. o.o;;

Yeah. I'm usually able to see "some things are more important" too, but I'm a bit like those eccentric scientists/artists in books and movies who can't seem to remember other people; especially when creating. So I do get a touch ruffled when I'm taken away from what I actually wanted to do, even though I care about the person I was hanging out with...

You did awesome! T.T *luffs upon sleeping Omi*

I know. heart _ heart

I couldn't find them... I'll look again... o.o;

Yeah, every little bit will add up. ^^ Actually, I'm working on buying stuff from the cash shop and saving it for the marketplace. You can get a lot of gold from that... Unfortunately, I keep wanting to wear what I buy. DX

Lol. I tried to do the math too, at the beginning. o.o; The sheer amoung of gold is terrifying. You never realize how much it is until you try to figure out how many "little pieces" it takes to make up the whole. T.T

A fundraiser would be fun. XD What would we sell..?

Lol. I was wondering whether I should double post or not. But I couldn't bring myself to break the rules...it's too naughty~! XD So I edited instead like a good girl. Ahaha.

So, yeah, next time I shall post multiple times to grab your attention, should the need arise. We can't let this quest thread die all lonely and silent. blaugh

Ah, thank you ^///^ I am glad you liked it. I can't say I am the best at drawing art but I do really enjoy it. And I had a lot of fun with that one. Many thanks!

Really? Hmm...they should be in the journals of each GMFC child (called blah blah's room' or 'such and such's nursery'). You just click on the journal and the owner/s of the child normally have artwork or 'pictures' of their characters posted in their journals (art done by different artists of the various growth stages, fan art etc,).

Ohh, I just had the idea to do that recently too. I wanted to buy items with Gaia Cash then hold onto them and sell them for a good price and donate from that. But I don't know which items are currently selling at high prices. Can you buy items off the marketplace with Cash or only in the cash shop?

Lol @ keeping the items to wear. XD I'd think of it this way: if you got the appointment first, you could always go back and buy those items to wear later, after you got the appointment.

Uhmm....*ponders what to sell* Stick figure art? biggrin Some kind of art? ._.?
