Same thing can happen in NetHack Fish. And Dungeon Crawl's controls are very similar so it's not like you'd be much of a change at all. DC is easier, in my opinion because it has a map and the layout with items is better (you don't have to press i to pull up an inventory list).

Play as a Chaos Knight of Xom. He's pretty big on doing random s**t for fun.
I've seen him: Summon a shitload of butterflies around you, that do nothing. Make you experience a single moment of absolute horror, but then you realize that nothing is wrong. So I guess it wastes one turn. Teleport you randomly. Teleport you into a room full of really unpleasant monsters. Turn the surrounding walls into glass. Kill everything near you. Drop items. Not necessarily good ones, or uncursed. Reduce your health to 10% whether or not you're in a fight. Summon a shitload of really bad monsters around you. Spoil your food. Catch all of your scrolls on fire. Curse your equipment. Mutations.

Wow...Stadium really hasn't moved this whole weekend.
Tiem to fix this...tomorrow.
When JB's back, shitgodown in order to begin the road to wrapping up Eden.
I have like...6 or so months left to see it through before I'm gone.
ULTIMATUM.

No More Heroes 2 is pretty awesome so far.
The 2nd Ranking Match you do is a giant robot battle, which the UAA immediately confiscates.

Zombie Vahn is going to be it's own little side quest thing/stuff, since he'll never get to the source of it all now. He'll get either beaten and subdued, or burn himself out and just wake up after everything's been settled.
Thus allowing me to pick right up with Eden and those who still had ties to it all can find they still have a chance to do something.

Vahn always did have abysmal resistance to mental abilities.
And apparently spores.

Silver Alexander No More Heroes 2 is pretty awesome so far. The 2nd Ranking Match you do is a giant robot battle, which the UAA immediately confiscates. Tell me something. I heard it's really bare bones compared to the first. Like in terms of the characters not really being memorable, being less charming, etc. Any input?

I do kinda miss the open world map from the first one, even though it was really kinda superfluous. Now you just pick destinations on an overmap of Santa Destroy and it automatically takes you there with a bit of load time.
It does feel more... i dunno, condensed I guess. Havent encountered that many new characters aside from the first two ranking matches. Im not that far into it yet, but Travis is still awesome.
The 8-bit side jobs are cute but hard as ******** because the controls are kinda clunky.

I know there's something like 40+ bosses in the game, so I figured they'd have to shave off a lot of their personalities and stuff. Wasn't sure they were pretty much "Faceless boss #25" now. I think it's probably good that it's sort of condensed, to be honest. XD Parts of NMH were entirely boring, like collecting the money for the fights and stuff. It kind of had Shadow of the Colossus syndrome. Awesome, awesome boss fights but too much buildup. Thanks for the input, Silver.
