Personality: Persephone is a trickster. she will say or do anything if she thinks it will be funny, even if it has the potential to physically or emotionally hurt others. She is the sort of person who is completely indifferent when it comes to how others view her, and knows to only waste her time on people she finds interesting or entertaining. People's first impression of her is usually that she is a friendly and rather sarcastic person who seems nice enough, but unless they do something to gain her trust, she will just as easily make fun of or take advantage of them as be nice to them. She is a bold person, unafraid to meet new people and make new enemies, and she has absolutely no fears of showing off her "condition." even using her abilities to create even more mischief... or at least, that's what she says. In reality, she would give anything to be able to stick to one gender, even more so than her brother, who at least feels comfortable being a girl when a girl, and being a boy when a boy.
When (or rather, if) she ever does make real friends, she starts making fun of them all the time. This is her way of showing affection, as she has deemed that her friends are people who can truly know when her insults are just jokes. However, when push comes to shove, she is undyingly loyal to them, even if she has a hard time expressing how she feels.

Bio: Persephone has had a fairly normal life. Her parent's have remained happily married for years. Her father is a lawyer for a prestigious law firm, and her mother is a stay at home mom, so her family has always been very comfortably middle class. And to top it all off, she's never had any close friends or family ruthlessly murdered. Yep, as a matter of fact, if it wasn't for the condition that her and her brother share, her life would have been totally normal. But it isn't. Her condition has been the cause of much rejection and isolation from those outside her family, but instead of turning in on herself and becoming an introvert like her brother, she fought back, becoming an outgoing mischief inducing trickster who made sure to activate her abilities whenever she felt like it. In fact, for a while she switched back and forth so much, that she doesn't even have a preferred gender anymore. She loves her brother dearly. In truth, he is currently her only friend, and the fact that she is technically the elder sibling causes her to be quite overprotective of him. Of course, she finds his insecurity with his condition to be hilarious, and takes any chance that she can to make him switch back and forth. She's also been known to impersonate him from time to time for particularly nasty practical jokes. In an attempt to give her a more normal life, her parents sent her to a boarding school in scotland and her brother to one in england. Because of this, she speaks with a slight scottish accent. Unfortunately, her uncaring attitude towards her abilities and who saw her use them caused her to become a bit of a loner at this, and once her parents heard about rosentale, they immediately decided to send her there in hopes that the more accepting environment would earn this trouble child a few friends. They also gave her a gift from the mikelovitch's family doctor, a researcher studying the twins bizarre condition. An earring that released a particular electromagnetic signature that stops her from transforming. It appears to work too...

Skills and Abilities: Whenever Persephone makes eye contact with someone of the opposite gender as her, she changes into a man, becoming Pierce. This change is both in sex and gender, which can be seen in a slight personality difference between her forms. Whenever Pierce makes eye contact someone of the opposite gender as him, he changes back to Persephone. She also looks completely identical to her brother/sister, and is very good at pretending to be him/her. (the personality is usually what gives her away, that or the accent.)

Character Flaws: Callous - She has absolutely no regard for how other people feel except for her absolute closest friends, and even then, she acts as though she doesn't care.
Manipulative - She'll act however she needs to to get whoever she wants to to act however she wants to.
Stubborn - it's not that she's right, it's that you're an idiot.

Appearance description: Romane is around 5'8” in height and weighs about as much as a horse! Even in human form! She dresses constantly in uniform and, when she isn't working (Not that that ever happens, really.), she wears.. her uniform. Her entire wardrobe really is just her uniform. When she's in her true form as a unicorn, she looks like what one would expect of a unicorn – albeit, a lot smaller. Really, she looks more like a white pony with a horn than anything.

Personality: To the point, serious, and firm, Romane is essentially a classic workaholic. Her entire mind is around working and improving herself and others to the best that they're capable of. She's not a very social person, to be honest, and she tends to be shy when it comes to encounters that she didn't initiate herself, but one wouldn't guess this with how often she runs towards people to order them around. She dislikes wasting time and doesn't seem capable of being aimless, always having a task or goal in mind. When it comes to others, she expects the exact same standards as she imposes on herself and, though she may come off as harsh or uncaring, she really does everything with the want to help better others. She's simply too rushed to really think about tact.

Bio: In the forest that Romane was born into, there are several variations of the fairly common, but elusive unicorn. The land stands at a meeting ground of several different worlds, so, of course, it's not impossible to believe that these alternate versions of one race could meet and grow themselves a small community of their own. Despite having many differences, there is one thing that stands supreme above all – that is, aging. The pecking order within the forest is as basic as one can get – with the oldest reigning as the wisest and the ignorant youths at the bottom of the chain. This can be considered an intelligent move, but, for Romane, this was possibly the most unfair environment to be raised in. Her variant of unicorn has the same lifespan of a regular horse – only surviving, if lucky, a total of thirty years. To make up for this lack of time, they mature at the same rate as well, so, while they are adults at four years of age, most other unicorns have barely finished their infancy. The short-lived unicorn types are often mocked as they live far too short a time to master all the arts and magic that the eldest are capable of.

While some succumbed to this treatment and stereotype, Romane adamantly refused to early into her life. She forced herself to learn as many arts as she could – which, really, just amounted to firing a gun and memorizing rules for the nearby academy. But, after three years of careful study – and a few months of practicing Rosentale's rules – Romane was proud to say she was the best of the unicorns at these arts. Of course, this was because most of the unicorns used their human forms as escape devices rather than for violence.. But, Romane would hardly hear any of that. She couldn't! After all, as soon as she thought herself ready, she hurried over to the Academy and forced her way into working there to put order back into the horribly disruptive school. She was tired of seeing so many students wasting their time off school grounds!

Skills and Abilities: As one can guess, Romane is capable of shifting herself from a unicorn to a human and back again, but the process to do so consumes too much energy for comfort, so she rarely does it.

Romane has a good aim and is pretty skilled when it comes to guns, as well as good reflexes.

Her blood and horn have healing properties, as legends go, but the horn would only work when detached from her head. As for her blood, the amount required to really heal anything more than a small scrape would be too dangerous to even think of using. Besides, most creatures tend to be allergic to unicorn blood.

Character Flaws:

Bold - Romane automatically assumes she understands a person's intentions or situation when encountered with something new.

Hard - It shouldn't be a surprise that Romane is difficult to manage - if one isn't in command, then she will take on the role with utmost seriousness and refuse to listen to any objections.

Humorless - Don't joke with Romane. Just don't.

Idealist - In Romane's mind, everyone and everything should be done with complete perfection - no excuses.

Impatient - Romane refuses to sit still or wait on other's. Time is too short for her to even consider it!

Intolerant - Attempting to argue or differ on Romane on something is an extraordinary difficult task. Romane is right, no exceptions.

Overambitious - Everything must be perfect and, if possible, under her control so she can assure herself of this perfection.

Predictable - Romane works on a routine both inside and outside of her mind. It's not hard to figure out what she will do or how she will react, given someone pays attention.

Proud - Though she can be ordered into it by the right people, Romane refuses to believe she needs help in anything and will become defensive at the very notion usually.

Appearance description: (optional) Ihsan stands at around 6' and has long black hair that he usually keeps in a low ponytail. His skin is extremely pale, bordering on being white and his eyes are heterochromatic--one blue and one brown. He has fang-like teeth and pointed ears with many piercings. His face tends to be rather...expressionless as he's not used to showing emotion that way.

Has a white ox tail on which he wears a large, gold armlet.

Personality: Ihsan is a generally amicable guy and views the world with a sort of quiet curiosity. He's not used to dealing with mortals or any race outside his own tribe so he's still getting used to all the strange nuances of other cultures. He can be a bit awkward when interacting with people simply because he doesn't know all the standard social rules of other races. He's very quiet and tends to use as few words as possible when speaking. Though he rarely smiles and is seemingly quite serious, he actually does have a lurking sense of humor. But more often he keeps his amusement internalized so one can never really know if he might be inwardly laughing at something that outwardly, he doesn't seem to find humorous.

He does have quite a temper, but doesn't make much of a show of getting angry outside the fact that he tends to be calmly physical toward people that frustrate him. Generally, you don't know you've made him mad until he suddenly throws you through a wall or window.

He tends to be easily baffled by other people and their actions because he's simply not used to interacting with people so it tends to be easy to confuse him. He's also very literal and doesn't understand figurative speech well yet.

Bio: Ihsan was raised as part of a Djinn tribe in a desert country rife with internal conflict--most of which had been instigated by his tribe. Not being a soldier, or anyone of great import, or from a high ranking family, there was never really much ffor Ihsan to do. He tended to wander around the desert and occasionally joined merchant caravans to cause trouble or just watch the Humans. Eventually, he just got bored of living with his tribe. Though most of them made it their objective to make mortals miserable, Ihsan just never saw the point. He always felt he could find something a bit more constructive and interesting to do.

Mortals were more interesting than his people and didn't feel the need to constantly bicker and try to backstab to get raised to a higher position (well, not the ones he was generally around, anyway--and even the ones that were seemed to be more creative about it than the average Sheitan). Eventually, he just sort of wandered off and started lurking around mortals most of the time. And finally he heard about this school between worlds where various races gathered together.

It sounded interesting, so he managed to work out a way to be enrolled at Rosentale to see what it was about.

Skills and Abilities: First and foremost, Ihsan has the ability to shapeshift into a white ox. When in ox form, he retains his heterochromia

Illusions--He's capable of creating various types of illusions however, these have no substance and can't do physical harm, nor can they be touched or interacted with. He can conceal reality (he can, in other words, make you think you're interacting with the illusion when you're actually not touching anything), or make figures that move around. When caught in one of his illusions, it's fairly easy to break it by simply interacting with something in the real world with any sense. Even something as small as a smell can break one out of his illusions.

He is capable of shifting into a completely Human looking form but generally feels no compulsion to actually do so.



Character Flaws: Arrogant - whether he actively realizes it or not, Ihsan looks down on mortals. They are, after all, only mortals. And while they're interesting, he sort of views them as some form of entertainment more than individuals that have feelings of their own. Not that he's uncaring but he does lump other races into one group and views them as slightly lesser beings that it's okay to occasionally toy with.

Violent - When angry, Ihsan will get violent without much warning. Because he doesn't really show his emotions much, it's a little difficult to know when he's getting annoyed until he actually starts trying to shove your head in an oven. Fortunately, he is also very patient so it takes quite a lot to actually make him angry.

Passive - Seemingly contradicting the violent temper, when he's extremely passive when not angry. He will pretty much go along with whatever the people around him are doing, never bothering to argue or put a stop to things that are against the rules (or law).

Mercurial - His moods tend to shift without warning --he will go from being being in a pleasant mood, to being curt and stand offish fairly rapidly and usually with no provocation.

Impulsive - Generally, if he wants to do something (no matter what it is) he sees very little reason why he shouldn't do it. He doesn't go out of his way to break the rules and will work within whatever perameters he's been given most of the time. But only because he usually doesn't feel the need to do otherwise. But if he wants to do something against the rules, he'll do it without guilt or hesitation.

Extra Information: Ihsan hates constricting clothing and usually wears loose fitting pants and flowing layers. He also wears thin slippers most of the time, rather than proper shoes. Pretty much has no qualms with showing up with a bare torso and hasn't quite gotten used to wearing modern clothes.

He is bound by his word so if he makes a promise, he will keep it no matter what.

He holds grudges badly--if you get on his bad side, you're likely not getting off it. Ever.
