Designated Hero On a previous topic: Laser surgery is pretty safe these days, especially stuff like LASIK. I just won't recommend it because then I'll start losing patients. I'd still be scared. Also, I always heard that not all laser treatments for the eyes are a guaranteed success. But well, you're the expert of this field^^

Okay, so Yusuke's fighting Noire at Lu Bu. The fight's been going pretty good so far, though I wish he would describe stuff more rather than relying on me knowing firsthand the moves he's using. Then...he does this.
I asked him how he was linking from headbutt into a backwards motion foot-to-the-face, and he gave an explanation two posts down.
Now...I'm not wrong when I say that if someone is performing a headbutt that there is at least some forward motion. If he's attempting to just slide my forehead across my face, then he's not trying to headbutt me. Merely touch faces. But then he says the speed of his character and...and he's using Balrog's anti air, for anyone who knows Street Fighter.
Okay, I'm not buying it, that's what. I know how I can mess him up for performing an aerial motion like that, but if I try to, I feel like he's going to twink himself out of my action with something else haxing. At first, his moves were legit because they were Hapkido, but when things get to the point where he's avoiding every attack as if he's in the matrix, I start to raise a brow.

I'd take the hit and just 'restart' my attack after recovering.
Who gives a ******** about stupid arguments like this. A broken forearm won't stop Yusuke I'm sure.

What Ed said - just roll with it man. Seriously, it makes you the better person.
Roll with it and try something else. I hate when there's obviously some misinterpretation or dodgy actions happening in a fight and the people stop it just to argue over the validity and plausibility over the action.
Just take it in stride and try to nail him in another way. XD If he continues to be a knob then don't post to him anymore. Simple.
Also - taking hits even if you could have easily avoided it, sometimes adds flair to the fight. surprised

You're right, Vahn. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't wrong in thinking that. Game on!

Designated Hero I'm not...I'm not in the right school for that. Unless you want to move to Oklahoma. Then sure, let's do that. Wait, why Oklahoma? Do we have an eye.. laser.. surgery.. school here? EDIT:: Obviously, the correct choice of action would have been to simply not fight Noire in the first place.

LOL Fen.
Vin - If it continues, then you just take that as it's okay to mod too and just have a go at him. Give him a taste of it. XD Not in a spiteful way but in a funny over the top way.
Do a whole bunch of ridiculous stuff and if he calls you on it, then you say something like, oh you thought you guys were just fooling around, didn't know you were fighting for srs.

Do a whole bunch of ridiculous stuff and if he calls you on it, then you say something like, oh you thought you guys were just fooling around, didn't know you were fighting for srs. That would just make the situation worse. I'm not the kind of guy to make sarcasm in a roleplaying post, at least in an ooc-way like that.
If anything, I'll stop fighting him in a few more posts.

It could make it worse but it could also turn out amusingly. Depends on how it was executed I suppose.
But yeah I guess that's the best course of action. rofl It would be pretty humorous to see though. I don't know what made me think of it.

Lucind Varhetel I'd still be scared. Also, I always heard that not all laser treatments for the eyes are a guaranteed success. But well, you're the expert of this field^^ A lot of it depends on the person's eyes before the surgery even begins. Also you probably shouldn't just go out and say "I want to have eye surgery!" It's best that your eyes kind of "settle" into a prescription for 2-4 years before you even consider the surgery. Also wtf are we talking about now? Something about punching people?

The Darth Vizzle Wait, why Oklahoma? Do we have an eye.. laser.. surgery.. school here? EDIT:: Obviously, the correct choice of action would have been to simply not fight Noire in the first place. State laws regulate the scope of an Optometrist's practice. Oklahoma is currently like...crazy lenient on Optometry, and allows Optometrists to perform stuff like laser correction. No other state will.
