Heheh, you're absolutely right. This particular version of this character is from a very Dragonball Z or steet fighter esque story, so yeah. Enough said on that. I think I'll just shelve this character and post one that is much more... relevant to this particular rp so as to not make you have to keep reading my ridiculous rewrites.

When I say something is over powered and to tone it down, I actually, really and truly mean to tone it down. I don't mean adding in a sentence about how it makes him tired so he rarely does it, and leaving it the same. So I shall repeat, please tone the power down. He cannot change that often. Getting tired is about the wimpiest limitation to a power in existence. What it normally means is that an RPer uses the power all the time, then makes a big disruptive fuss by having their character faint all over the place. I've seen it time and time again. Now, you may not be planning to do that and I'd love to give you the benefit of the doubt, but to head the possibility off at the pass, I am saying again--please tone the power down to being able to transform a few times per day. =) Overprotectiveness is rarely RPed at a level that it's a true flaw so I'm going to ask that you replace it with something a little more substantial. Simply being protective of friends isn't a flaw. Being so protective he stalks them, harasses anyone who dares speak to them, sneaks into their room to watch them sleep and generally becomes creepy--that would be a flaw. If you intend to RP him that way, fine. Otherwise, give him another flaw please. =) In my experience 'over protective' is one of those pseudo flaws that generally never actually comes up in the RP. For his regen rate, I would say that if he can regenerate from minor injuries within a few minutes (minor = scraped knees, etc), serious injuries (like large cuts, serious burns, things would usually require an ER visit) in a few hours, life threatening injuries in a few days, and broken bones in a week or two--that would be about the level that would work for Rosentale. Let me know when he's fixed. ^^

I'm going to approve him on the condition that you edit his healing power to exactly state the limitations I gave you. When people look at your profile they should be able to get all the information they need--they shouldn't have to hunt down my posts in this thread to know what his healing limitations are. It needs to be spelled out in the profile. That's what profiles are for. =) He will be placed in Limestone dorm. Please be sure to create a character profile thread in the approved characters forum, and choose a class schedule. If you have other questions please don't hesitate to ask. You'll need to check out the school system thread and familiarize yourself with how the guild system works. Today is Week 2, Day 1.

I'm sorry for the inconvenience but I can't take a look at your character yet. There is a rule that says new members cannot make new characters until two weeks has passed and yes, two weeks has passed, but the very reason for the rule is so members can have their first characters settle into the RP and make friends so they don't get bored of their characters and drop them. And I am aware that you were absent for a few days because of personal reasons, but if you're inactive, the two weeks really can't count. You could RP as Raven to get settled back into the guild since you just recently get back and once you're back and posting and settled, you can post your new character again and a crew member can take a look at it. ^^

Personality: Princess Lisandra (or Elph, her self declared nickname) is very tomboy, though she does love to go shopping. She has a strong sense of adventure, always looking for the next exciting thing to do whether it's slaying dragons or playing volleyball. She is very prim and propper to those she first meets, because that's what princesses are taught to be, but will break the facade and become herself when she knows you longer. she always wants to put her two cents into a conversation, and can be a little nosy or rebellious because of this, always having to have the last word in an argument, but in general, she's a rather nice person, tender on the inside with rough edges. She also is strongly against gender roles and steryotypes.
Bio: Princess Lisandra Addison Elphemera Madec is the third of five children in the royal family of the kindom of linderwall. Three girls, two boys, the youngest and the eldest both being young, strong, and rather dull steryotypical princes, while both her older and younger sister are the perfect, traditional damsel in distress weaving, singing, and dancing princesses. really, they're not such a bad bunch. They're just, in Elph's opinion, boring. Normal. Dull. She always liked swords more than learning to dance, and spells and incantations over proper table manners. She was different, and unhappy with her boring life. Her father is a wise and good king, having ruled over his small kingdom for many years of prosperity and good trading with neighboring countries. His wife, his five children's stepmother, is a very motherly and slightly plump woman, who gets along with her stepchildren splendidly, and has a son of her own who is treated as just another sibling. Elph's mother died giving birth to her younger brother when she was five, and her stepmother has been married to her father for the last six years. Elph loves her stepmother, but almost wishes she were the stereotypical evil stepmother so that she could have the sort of adventure she always dreamed of. Noticing that their middle child was unhappy, and sort of different, Elph's father and stepmother decided to send her to Rosentale, an otherwordly school where her thirst for an adventure just might be satisfied.
Skills and Abilities: Knows a little bit about swordfighting. Very little. She also knows two simple magic spells
Fix - can mend things like broken glass and simple machinery. The spell only works if she saw the object break, and if all of the broken pieces can be held in her hands at once
lift - she can levitate and move objects without touching them. the objects must weigh less than 20 lbs and can only move about twenty feet away from her in any direction.
Character Flaws: Elph is pretty nosy. she always wants to know what's going on with everyone. she also has a problem with being prissy. She's royalty, and even though she doesn't really like it she's used to people treating her like a princess so it's hard to understand why everything shouldn't go her way. She has to get her opinions out. if she doesn't like the way you say something or do something she'll tell you, or if you're arguing she'll always have to have the last word. Her royal upbringing leads her to be bossy when put in leadership situations, and she has to work had to try and push past her rather "royal" conditioning.

Hello! There are a few changes that you will need to make before your character can be accepted. First are her powers. Since Rosentale is a high school RP and powers are just kind of a side thing added for laughs, we prefer to have mediocre and not very strong powers to keep the chaos on a low. So I have a few suggestions for you. Usually we like to a balance of 1 strong power and 1 not as strong power. Fix and mend count as a not as strong power and lift and pop counts as a strong power. You can either get rid of one of each and it will be good. If you want to keep all for powers, you'll need to severely limit her powers so it's equivalent strength to having 1 strong power and 1 not as strong power. As in, you'll have to severely limit lift and pop to lower levels like less weight for lift and less feet for pop and add some limits to mend and fix. As for fix and mend, you need to add limits to those. How big of an item can she fix and she can't obviously heal an infinite amount of small injuries, so just keep that in mind if you keep that power and also, if you do keep the mend, then you'll have to ASK the RPer first before you have your character healing anyone because some people would prefer to have the small injuries as something their characters will overcome. As for her flaws, there's one thing you have to change. I think maybe you were just confused with some grammar. Everyone CAN BE anything. So with the flaws, it's either she IS or she ISN'T, but not CAN BE something. Flaws are something that follow your character around all the time. So you just have to change CAN BE to is and we will hold you accountable for your characters' flaws. Once you make your changes, just quote me and I'll take another look! Thanks. =D

Today is Family Week so it's kind of hectic, so you can have your character go anywhere she wants or you could ask if you can have her jump in and join other people. =D Oh yes and don't forget to make an accepted character profile for her and sign her up for classes. ^^

Species: Fallen Angel
Age: Very old. Appears around late twenties to early thirties.
Gender: Male
Appearance description: Samael always has a stern look on his face, and his posture and everything about the way he acts and moves is always rigid and austere. His foggy blue eyes are always narrowed as if he were staring someone down for doing something he didn’t approve of. It is nigh impossible to make him laugh, let alone smile at anything or anyone. He always keeps his strawberry blond hair well-groomed and in a neat ponytail and his clothes make him look even more stuck-up, always being pressed and formal. He stands at 6’0” exactly, but tends to wear shoes with a bit of heel to them to make him a bit closer to 6’1”. Yes, he has wings, and to his disappointment, they are not retractable, so he has a hard time getting his clothes over them. He usually has to have slits cut into the back of his shirts so they can fit through, but it’s still difficult because they’re bruised and battered.
Personality: Samael is serious and hates any sort of silliness and nonsense. Things always need to make sense and be perfect, and if not, then he will perfect it no matter the cost. Though he often preaches about and has a firm belief in equality, he has a tendency to talk down to others and treat them like dirt. He is also extremely determined, and when he sets a goal for himself, he will be absolutely ruthless until he meets it. At times, he can have a bit of a temper, but he usually has enough self control not to directly harm someone. He will indirectly if he must though.
Bio: Believe it or not, Samael was a mostly good angel, despite his radical beliefs on equality. Being the strict guy that he was, he quickly climbed the ranks in God’s army, but never abused his power. The most he ever did was preach to those under him about how angels should relinquish their wings and status in order to be equal to humans. Of course, many disagreed, but it was a silent disagreement, not wanting start a huge fight over it. But a fight couldn't be avoided forever. Eventually, someone decided to speak up against him, claiming that he was a traitor and was trying to trick them. He tried his best to convince them otherwise, but the riled up group decided they had had enough of his pointless words. And so, they personally threw him right out of Heaven, without bothering to get the permission of a higher up. As with most fallen angels, his wings lost function and he landed on them rather painfully.
At first, he panicked, having no clue what to do or where to go since it was his first time on Earth, but it didn’t take long for him to adapt. As he was searching for a job, he heard that Rosentale was in need of some staff. At first, he didn’t want to work in some filthy school, but he eventually came across the rumors of its tolerance and acceptance to all living and nonliving creatures. It was the first step of his goal sitting right in front of him, so he just couldn’t resist the draw of such a school. So, he took on the wordy position of “ Administrator of Student Discipline,” sure that he could straighten up the entire school and conform them to his idea of equality.
Skills and Abilities:
- Skilled Orator: Or so he says. But really, all he does is rant until everyone else gives up.
- Healing/Injury: He can heal large, non-fatal wounds instantaneously, but it comes at a price. Not only is it exhausting, but he receives the very injury he healed. Of course, he could always transfer the injury to someone else, but he will still feel the pain of the wound until it has healed on the other person. If the person dies before the injury has healed, then he will feel it for all eternity.
- Immortal: Will never age, but is perfectly killable by normal means.
- Archery: He's nowhere near perfect, but he can still hit a few bulls-eyes thanks to his training up in Heaven.

Appearance description: Ignore the pink ends, the star on her cheek, and add a few inches to her height and that's Kasai.
Personality: Very typical punk-like person. Depending on the day she can be anything from laid back to down right angry at the world. However dispite her attitude is actually a very caring person, she just doesn't like to show it too often.
Bio: Kasai grew up among thousands of demons, all of which were either able to use fire or ice. Because of her parents being a flame and ice demon, the genetics basicly neutralized all possiblities of elemental powers, leaving her the only non-elemental demon in the family. Her parents tried to make up her non-existant powers with intelegence and manners. After years of living in this suffocating lifestyle Kasai rebelled, instead of hanging out with the prim and proper demons, she went to the streets and made friends with the 'punks' as her parents called them. She mixed quite well with them, however her parents were outraged at her new 'rebelious streak'. They sent her to Rosentale Academy to try and get her to 'straiten out her life'.
Skills and Abilities: Heightened senses (mostly just sight, smell and hearing) and a huge pickpocket.
Character Flaws: Rebelious- Loves breaking the rules. Unless she actually respects the person (or fears them) she doesn't listen to any adult, teacher, etc.
Proud- She's very prideful of her strengths and is easily provoked if teased about them.
Stuborn- The usual 'I don't care what you say i'm still doing it' attitude, however sometimes takes it a step too far.
Reckless- Loves extreme stunts, anything from jumping off of someplace extremely high to stealing something from some adult or other athority figure right from under their noses.
