Collowrath TeaDidikai It's official. SyFy channel sucks. I love the SciFi channel, wherever that may lurk in the ether. Without Galactica, Stargate, and Babylon 5 I have no reason to watch it any more. Syfy resembles SciFi very little. Ugh. I don't have a problem with the programming. I watched W13 and LOVED IT! X-Files + Modern Brisco County Jr. heart ! I just think it's absurd that they misspelled it.

I particularly loathe them for their Earthsea blasphemy and the legal trouble they created over Tales of Earthsea. TeaDidikai I watched W13 and LOVED IT! W13?

I only saw the very beginning - it didn't catch my attention. I might watch a rerun soon though when I can afford the time. I loved the Dune miniseries. biggrin I haven't read the Earthsea books. Do you recommend them? I'm also a pretty big Galactica fan. I like my sci-fi gritty, with oil stains on the uniforms and everything. As much of a Trek fan as I am, I never could wrap my head around Voyager staying so pristine in the Delta Quadrant. Tea: I'm with the people pronouncing it "Siffy" myself. Also, "syfy" in Polish (pron. similarly to siffy), apparently means "zit" or "scum." Supposed to be pretty rare though.

I enjoyed the Earthsea books. I vaguely remember their version of it... all I remember was that parts of it were just plain wrong.

I love star trek. Yet, I am watching one abortion of an episode.
Beverly's scottish grandmother has died, they are all in a sterotype scottish land and now there are vampires around. stare

There need not always be context. Some things simply are. Elsewise, I might not know the context myself. Some half-remembered prose bubbles back to my mind, I feel as tho I aught post it. ~shrugs~
Seems fitting Chaos Blue, couldn't say why tho. 3nodding
I must eventually share my Corpse Sutras with y'all, they are probably the best inspiration I've e'er had the occasion to scribe.

But man, I love that show too.

But I don't like any Star Trek besides the new movie. The only exception to my sci-fi diet is time travel, steam punk, and alternate history. I LOVED Battlestar Galatica, but I hated that ending. Seriously, I'm contemplating picking up the fanfic pen once more and rewriting that ending.

Okay, Path is updated. Sorta.
I am generally not impressed with whatever it is Sci Fi did to themselves. I can see the need to use a name they can claim legally and what, but the direction doesn't appeal to me so much. confused
As far as my Sci-Fi, I sorta like it preachy. You know, in the almost dystopian, there goes the world if we don't liberate our heads from our collective fourth points of contact sorta way.

Why do my customers not understand the concept of "virtual bank". There are no bank branches to go to. Talk to your agent or call us. That's all, since half don't do online banking (I don't blame them, though, our online banking sucks.) so they can't do anything that way either!

i've just realized that i've been living in a little bubble of pagan happiness that may very well burst in about a month.
Tea, i hate to bother, but can you send me that opinion on the Aquarian Tabernacle Church? i've been looking over their website and have found very distinct markers that are pointing my way toward it, and i'm not sure if i should follow through. i have mixed feelings about them as an organization.
