To be honest though- it's set up so that the more Vahn uses that form, the more he'll become lost in it all- until, like a match, he burns out, and becomes nothing more than just Efreet.
Because he technically is the successor and is kinda prolonging the inevitable. An avatar like Leviathan gets to stay out in the open- as Efreet, it'd be the opposite.
To date, he has only combined the items once- and that was in Guldor, through Walter's guidance.

If I were to ever bring back some sort of special state or form for Tenkai, it'd have to have something to do with Buddhism. It feels like I'm leading into that with him with all this "void" and "musou" stuff, so that'd probably be the best way to do it without undermining his human characteristics.
He's definitely on a "sage" path, but I'm going to have to get him involved in plenty more stories so that the plot develops that.

It was Sun.
Which resulted in Vahn sealing roughly half of Sunstrike's power in his left eye, and taking it for safe keeping.
