So Athan would use metal types.
Cog would use psychic types.
Dee would use...flying types?
Crawley would probably just use a single hax Machop.
Sun would use a ditto?
Lucind would use water types.
JB would use..well I think there are a bunch of robot type pokemon. Like Magnavolt or some s**t.
Owle would use a Mew.
Silver and Fox would use wrestling types. I know there were at least 3-4.

Actually. You'd get to choose your main character. Vahn or Crawley, the opposite being the rival for the other.
Meaning Ryugi is now a gym leader with the Dome-shaped Explosion Badge and the last member of the elite four is... I don't know, Shouyin.
Rage is team Rocket. All of it.
EDIT: Of course you're not left out Hono. You and Sey appear at every pokemon centre.

Yeah you're right.
Vahn's in the cave waiting for the ULTIMATE CHALLENGE. Crawley runs the token not-pokemon gym but actual gym where men and burly fighting types are punching each other in the face.
Kael is now the main character.
