Lesse. I had Red, Blue, Yellow, Silver, FireRed, Pearl, and now SoulSilver. I tottaly skipped the non-remake GBA one, and then got back into it on the DS when I could go onlines.
A pokemon RP would be the most embarrassing thing ever. Unless you actually used the game to do the battles, and if you did that what's the point?
EDIT: You don't count the games that came out on the DS Kroww?

I would think a Pokemon battle RP would be similar to a Yu gi oh one if done right. Just with pokemon instead of cards.

I don't count Diamond and Pearl, mostly. Maybe it's the fact that they added a shitton new pokemon and it was just too much for me to handle when compared to the other 400 pokemon you could choose, but I just never got into them. The graphics were also a bit of a turnoff too, as cool as they looked it just didn't...fit.
Eh, I'm old school I guess. Though I never had the original Game Boy I bought and played the s**t out of the pokemon games as soon as they came out. Most memorable experience? Standing in line at the voting station and kicking the Elite Four's a**.

In all honesty that's why I like the remakes the most. I like the updated graphics and systems, but am a big fan of the first two generations of pokemon.

What time is it EST?
I don't know which clock to trust, my blackberry or this computer.
Both are suspect.

Psychofish That sounds like an issue with the game cartridge, not the gameboy. Unless Nintendo changed something since I last played one, they save to cartridges not databanks on the player the way PSP does. Yeah that's what Steve said. And lolol, I wouldn't know either. My gameboy isn't even in color. =P
