"Simple word. Paranoia....and James don't call me Trevy." She usually didn't care what people called her as long as they got it close enough. But for some reason James saying Trevy bothered her in an odd way. Maybe because it made him sound like Erik or something and it just didn't feel right to her. And then a raised eyebrow. "You mangled him?"
Erik only gave a chuckle. Ha, she was being name defensive. She may of not ever realized it but she was like that with any man she was dating. There were certain names she didn't like to be called by them. "Well...yeah I think paranoid is the word. But I think it was funny."

"Alright, Jelena. and yes, I mangled him. And he deserved it for the soldiers that died becuase he didn't are for anything more than how much s**t can we jam into thier bodies."
He shrugged lightly.
"Paranoia is still not a good enough reason. I mean for crying out loud if it was that big an issue just have her escorted by guards or something. don't need to cut her off from everything."

Erik only gave another laugh. "You should of seen it, really. She was so pissed off at it all. Not to mention they actually took away her PAID tags so she couldn't get herself out of the Project zone and I was the only one who was allowed to see her. Well me and Fleet Medics. Whole Project was shut down." He crossed his arms. "Boy I never want to repeat that again."
"Can we please refrain from that?" A look to James. "That's why I didn't want it to be wide spread what happened with the Hippogryph. They told me that next time one the my Echoes got overly aggressive like that again I would have to put it down. I'm sure you can see my reason for keeping secrets." Yes, those little ultimatums her Project had been slapped with.

"Indeed I do. and don't worry, your secrets are safe with me. I have no intention of letting Raidiance or any other group tear your project apart even in so much as killing one echo. besides, I like the hippogryphs. one of my favorites."
Then a look at Erik.
"Oh yes. we need to find something to help relax Jelena here. movie and dinner worked, but since then she's be a little fidgety. like tracing dna patterns with her finger. any suggestions that don't involve sedatives?"

Erik looked sincere a moment and thought on it. "VR rooms, hot soak in her tub, and then lounging around in the zero grav rooms. That's all I can come up with that doesn't involve sedatives. Also those situations must also not be encroached on by any words pertaining to business or anything that reminds her that she hasn't done something on her never ending to do list."
She didn't even raise an eyebrow at him. Erik knowing that kind of rather personal information was common place in their friendship. "Why you gotta make things easy for him Erik? You're supposed to withhold this short of useful thing from him and make him look for answers like any good protective male who doesn't want to help someone."

"Oh but Erik does want to help me, get you to relax. So lets see. soaking in your tub..sounds like something I'd want to watch. but I think perhaps the VR rooms or Anti grav might be better. less likely to get slapped with those."
A grin at Erik.
"Oh and we will be seeing you at work tomorrow. or I just might dye the rest of you pink. and she'll still need the added help, her arm will be past the serious point, but it won't be easy for her to use proably for a few more days."

"You know, you are so dead set on getting me to relax." At least Erik had the grace to not mention sex. Yeah, that worked too. But she was beginning to like the sedative idea really more than anything else. after all how was she to relax knowing that work was always just a walk down the hall so to speak. And thus she pouted at James. "Can't we just put me out? Why you gotta make me aware of things?"
"Oh lord, she's gone to whining." He rolled his eyes for another time that day and sighed in almost exasperated fashion. "I doubt I can keep myself entertained long enough to stay away from work. Besides, I have some data entries I need to catch up on and food orders and the like to make." Then a wicked look. "So...does that mean tomorrow that I can make sure she 'exercises' that arm."

"Well, we coudl put you out. but that's not nearly as much fun. well lets see, you don't want to be painfully aware..what about sex, that should keep your mind plenty occupied. and it should get you to relax."
A slight grin at Erik.
"Yes, we'll ge to make usre her arm gets plenty of exercise, within reason. so chances are whatever deviltry your thinking won't be allowed."

Erik looked a little disappointed. "Well...I can tweak plans then. They won't be as malicious as I first intended then and I will make them 'within reason'." And then another wicked smile at Jelena. "Here that Trevy? A chance to be even more annoying."
"Shut up Donner." He could just get plain annoying sometimes. And yes, Jelena did have a limit. Though her look turned to James, an eyebrow raised at him. Damn him and his good guessing capabilities. Though she wouldn't let onto that. "Didn't we already discuss that? The medics said rest...and I don't recall sex as a restful action."

"could be. i coudl tie you down to the bed and just enjoy you and that way you don't have to do anything at all..or maybe play with some toys..who knows, possibilites are endless. especially with bionics involved."
A chuckle and shake of his head.
"But anyway. It's up to you, Jelena. we can go someplace else for you to relax some, be it your tub or whatever..or we can still drug you."

Erik was sure he didn't just want to here that. "Hey, can we keep bed room talk concerning you two out of my hearing range, I really don't care to hear what goes on with her in that regard...it's creepy." And he gave a shudder for emphasis on that little tidbit. "And I vote drugs."
"You would vote drugs, wouldn't you? And if you don't want to hear then get away from us."
"Hey you came and found me. You're the ones who should leave."
Jelena rolled her eyes and didn't continue with that. Lord they would be fighting like children in a matter of seconds. But attention back to James now. "But then I wouldn't have any fun now would I? As I said before, takes two to tango and have fun while doing it." And then a sigh. "I vote drugs or VR room. Which is more your style?"

"for me, it's VR. drugs don't work very well in my system. I need far too much to get past the bionics. So lets hit a VR room, hell maybe Erik when he's through playing here can join us. how does mountian streams sound to you?"
He smiled lightly, and opened the door, grinnign lightly at Erik.
"And trust me, if we do have some more..intimate fun, you proably will get to hear it from your room."

That sentence threw off his aim horribly, hitting the wall instead of the target. But he looked over his shoulder to James with a smirk. "Don't think so highly of yourself just yet. You have to win her over first." Back to his shooting as they left.
Jelena only nodded and walked out the door as James opened it, rolling her eyes as the men once again exchanged comments of the highly suggestive nature. Men. "Mountain streams...sounds good to me. Let's head on over to Impression." Because that's where all the VR rooms were of course. Then a laugh as they started down the hall. "Erik doesn't like VR rooms, they make him claustrophobic."

"How do they make him claustrophobic? I mean they are designed to show whole worlds inside them. I sometimes wonder how mentally stable his is."
walking with her to Impression, probably the only ship that James didn't visit very often at all.
"I used to go to the mountain streams becuase it's very relaxing. nothign but cool waters and the sounds of nature. great place."
Finding one of the empty VR rooms, he punched in his own personal code, and accss to his version of the basic mountian stream reality. rather than some small stream and grassy slight wooded areas...his was higher up, a arge flowing almost waterfall, rushing water srpayign over rock in clear streams, birds singing as the forest area expanded to a plateau that overlooked a wooded valley..which made for beautiful sunsets.
