@Tippy- I got the new Kingdom Hearts game, so I decided like a ******** dumb a** to put the platinum game in my pocket. And of course being distracted by the fact that Micky Mouse is a complete ******** badass in that game, I forgot the game was in my pocket the whole day. I've been so many places today it could be anywhere. FFFFFFFFffffffffffffffff gonk

@Shippo: "Ex-patriot". Someone who lives in a country that isn't the country they're a born citizen of.
@Bulba: Oh stars. Well, how deep are you pockets? 'Cause I've carried my carts in my pockets several times and never once lost them. Maybe you just misplaced it or something?

@ Tippy - Oh, okay, I see. I'm not much of a patriot as is, so... xD
@ Bulba - I agree with Tippy; I've kept my games in my game cases, in my pockets, and I've never lost them.
Maybe someone'll be a good citizen? =3

@Bulba: Maybe you'll find it in your shoe. [And this is also why we put the games into cases/storage cases.] And alas, being able to find the game cartridge was the only good thing about the GB-sized cartridges that are 4x the size of DS ones. [And even back then, we still lost them!]
=w= Lance needs a sleep image. *currently uses the one with the word "glance" as her sleepy image* And holy crap I feel so light now that I don't have an ess---*crashes and falls asleep*

Fox Demon Shippo @ Tippy - Oh, okay, I see. I'm not much of a patriot as is, so... xD Well, being a patriot/ex-patriot doesn't mean you're patriotic or anything. It's just another term for "countryman" or "citizen". :3

Why don't you want to live in Japan? >_>
Losing your pkmn? For shame, for shame. <_<
It's your hometown . . . so it's where you're from, where you were born, where you start. If you move later that's fine. >_>
I decided on Goldenrod. There are wild Ditto around, so it'd be easy to make that my starter. <_<

DJ Trouble Why don't you want to live in Japan? >_> The racism against foreigners is really bad. Even in the Pokémon Centers; I've heard so many horror stories of star-struck foreigners going to buy hundreds of dollars worth of merch, only to be told at the register that they're not allowed to buy so much/so many things. Because they're not Japanese. I'd be fine visiting or maybe even having a vacation home for short stays (three months or less, so I could stick with a tourist visa instead of having to go through the red tape to get anything else), but permanently living there? No thanks.

@Tippy: Whats the racist japanese word for us again? Gaijin?
@DJ: Eh. I think the only thing I can do is wait for HGSS. : /
I have my pearl card, but I restarted that...
I guess I should start playing it if I want a Lucario on my HGSS games. :B Anyone IV breed any pokemon? :0

Pretty crazy stuff. >: You guys are making me less and less heartful of going to japan. Don't get sucked into the glossed-over version of Japan anime/manga/the like give you. I know several foreigners who live/lived in Japan, from the token year abroad to teach English, to going to a four-year university, to actually living there indefinitely. The people from the former two categories could not wait to get back to their home countries, the racism was so horrible. And the people who live there indefinitely are constantly griping about, but that's all they can do, because the racism is pretty much legal.
Japan's totally fine to visit. You generally don't encounter a lot of the racism then and the Japanese people love you and all is well and whatnot. I'm still visiting in the spring, after all. But once you try living there for any extended period (i.e. anything that would require a Visa greater than the automatic tourist Visa), things suddenly change and the people don't love you anymore and just want you to get the hell out of their country.
Of course, you can survive indefinite/permanent residence, but you have to have a really thick skin and the ability to let things go.
