Rune to sum up if blunt, obstinate , and some what cynical young boy who is prone to rough speech. He is stubborn, prideful and extremely strong willed as he isn't the type to fall easily to peer pressure or stress. It also seems as if the more he dislikes you the more polite you seem to see him. Only those who are close get the ungentlemanly side... while normally one would expect this to be the opposite to Rune it's a way to show you he trusts you not to hurt him.
Rune can get absorbed heavily into a project and come across as spacey as he seemingly ignores everything around him. He is extremely sharp witted and surprisingly creative due to his rather horrid luck. Luckily he isn't really afraid of anything, which is quite useful for his love of ghost stories. This is coupled with his absolute love of magic. Rune will get quite carried away in the pursuit of more magical knowledge.
This aside rune is very mature for his age. He treats people rather equally since Rune generally cares for other people although he is better able to handle those younger than him. This leads the boy to have a rather strong sense of responsibility. Unfortunately as rune is rather distant towards others, he isn't able to more positive aspects of his personality and people often misunderstand him only seeing his more harsh arrogant persona.
