Caroline shook - no, pumped hands with Aurora. "Hello Aurora - and hello Vietnam, except this is China." She wondered if this seemingly reserved girl would appreciate the reference, but it was possible that she wouldn't. Oh well.
She looked down at the cat. "Altan, I like that name. You're a fine sexy beast, you know that?"

Aurora was confused by the reference. ...Vietnam? China? Where did those come up? "...Okay," she said, instead. "Welcome to Bai Ching."
Altan purred happily at Caroline's compliment. Why, thank you, madamoiselle. He smiled at her, chuckling even while he purred. I do try.

So it was Ares. Ari hesitantly stepped inside, her hand firmly clamped around her necklace. ”Sorry about this,” Ari mumbled, ”I have sensitive hearing… I can’t help it…” she mumbled, flipping her glasses back down over her eyes. She could feel the tremors under the bed and she snorted with contained laughter. ”Original hiding spot,” she said, smiling at him. ”… and hi. I’m Ari.”

Secret Kirari Arielle smiled at Kindra, though it was a worn, tired smile. "Alright. Now, you're required to take History, Math, Science, and English, but you have three other slots to fill for the minimum requirement." Handing over the large list of available classes, she continued. "This will tell you all the classes you can choose from." Kindra looked over the list of classes that was handed to her. other then the required courses she choose to take familiars 101, dueling advanced, and sewing. After she choose her classes she handed the list back. "I was wondering if tomorrow I could tour the school, so I could get to know the place better."

Ever's eyes widened at Ari's comment to Ares. She must not know who Ares was because most mortals wouldn't have made that type of comment to a god, let alone the God of War.
Ever whispered very softly into Ari's ear, "Uh, this is Ares, God of War. You might want to be careful. His ego is easily wounded."

Yyyyep, the joke was flat. That was alright though, Bai Ching was a big place. There would surely be someone who could appreciate Caroline's wit.
"I'm glad to be here," she responded cheerfully, "With you and the sexy beast that is Altan."
"So, I have a question. Are the teachers here insanely powerful, or what? I can feel some serious auras all over the place, and it makes my head buzz."

Ares rolled his eyes. "It's fine, Evermore." He watched Ari with amusement. "I didn't have much time to think of a spot."

Aurora shrugged, and Altan chuckled some more. Walking back to her bed, she sat upon it once more. "I do not know. I am not very good at feeling auras, though I must say I do think that the past few days have held much more... intensity than normal." After all, she had actually been able to feel the increase in magic, which normally did not happen.

”Yeah, Ev, I kinda got that. How many ‘Ares’ do you know besides The Ares?” she asked, smiling. ”I’m sure his ego is just fine… you should give me more credit! Even I can feel the godliness rolling off him!”
She turned to Ares again. "I guess! You should try the closet next time. I always find plenty of room to hide in those... people don't generally think to do a thorough search in them either... erm, not that I would know or anything," she amended shiftily.

Checking the clock, Arielle supressed a sigh. "I would normally prefer to take more time, but I think it would be best if I gave you your room straight away. Allow me just a moment..." She reached down and pulled out the list of dorms.

Ares laughed. This Ari girl certainly knew how to stroke someone's ego--even if unintentionally! Smirking, he shrugged. "Normally I would simply disappear. People never find me that way--especially not silly mortals. No offense, of course." An offhanded comment.

"That's... unusual?" Caroline offered. She sat down next to Aurora uninvited. She was a dragon, and that gave her incredible sensitivities to her environment - hence, the sneezing fit in Miss Rose's class. What an embarrassment... At least, if her brother kept his word (something that was rarer and rarer these days, and it worried her), someone would speak for her so Miss Rose wouldn't completely flip out next class. Plus, she wanted him to see how cute she was in the school uniform!
"Hey, I know! Will you take me exploring? Just up and down to hall, so I can meet some of the other girls?"

While Kindra was waiting for the headmistress to assign her room she decided to examine the room for the first time she entered. Her wandering eyes soon stopped when she saw the window and the beautiful landscape beyond it.
