"As he is, if you don't mind." Elrothiel said, opening the door to the stall and leading the horse out. "I've got tethering equipment in my bag but I doubt I'll need it to be honest." She stroked the horse's nose affectionately and he nudged her back. She smiled fondly. "What's his name?"

"We call him Sol, he's brother to my horse, which was going to be named Luna, but since it turned out to be a male, we called him Lunarexion." After she walked out of the stall, he shut it back though not bothering to latch it, they weren't here to see who could be the tidiest house keeper. He left her to continue working with Sol as she saw fit, making his way back to Lunarexion, rubbing his head gently as he reached into his saddlebag, taking out the water flask. He tipped it up to his lips, taking another swig of the liquid, for he would soon need the energy for the journey to Gondor. After taking his share of the flask, he put it back into his bag, closing the flap over it and turning around, waiting patiently on Elrothiel.

Further south east
After a while, Ranu slowed to a stop. He was half way between Fangorn and the river. He's stopped because his boots had filled with blood again. He sat down a moment, and undid the belts that attatched them, then removed them, belting them around his bag. Straightening back up, he looked around him then started walking again. His lips were dry, and his forhead was drenched in sweat. His muscles had given up burning long ago, settling for a dull ache. Dispite all this, Ranu kept moving. He aimed to reach Gondor swiftly. Running his tounge over his dry lips, he winced as he felt them crack and bleed. He was in trouble if he ran into an enemy. He was weakening himself to help.

Elrothiel spent about another minute bonding with the horse to make sure that they could enjoy a good working relationship. With a few last phrases in Elvish she led him over to Eroswyn and quickly mounted, waiting for a couple of minutes to that the horse could adjust to her weight and manner of riding. "I'm ready." she commented, slightly unnecessarily, still concentrating on judging the horse.

Eroswyn gave Elrothiel and Sol a quick lookover simply to assure himself the pair would be fine. He wasted no time in mounting Lunarexion, before remembering the man that had been following the elf, his hand swinging the reigns around, soon facing the south east. He did not take off yet, not wanting to leave her escort behind. "So what about the man who was following you, shall we return and retrieve him?"

So here we go. been a year biggrin
Middle earth is growing dark. Dark clouds from Mordor grow larger and block out the sun even more. The King of men is reveled to the Unblinking Eye. The Ring-bearer is still unknown, but is close.
Sauron, his desire to corrupt man, and destroy the eldar for resisting his will, continues his dark plots from atop Barad dul. He hears reports of a group of unlikely travlers...Could they have the ring? if not they know it's whereabouts.
His favorate minion among the orcs is directed to change his task. Hunting Halflings is no longer as important...
He arrives at a camp site outside of fangorn. The fire not 2 days old, with many foot prints, but only a few horses... the horses went in a different direction... would the dismounts also find horses? So begins his hunt...

Elrothiel shook her head. "The others have chosen their own paths for the moment. We'll probably meet them again soon. I have a feeling that soon all our paths will lead to the same place." She sighed. "The final stand, I wonder if the free world will survive it." She shook off her momentary pessimism and smiled again, even if she was worried about the others. "I don't know the lands hereabouts very well as I have only been here once before," she added calmly, "so I'll leave the navigating in your expert hands. Lead on."

"Very well, let's be off then." With a swift click of his teeth, he was off, breaking into a hard gallop across the plains, not even looking back towards Edoras as he went. He had went to far to turn back now, and whatever happened, happened. He always did love adventures, and this would be the one that topped it off.

Sol needed minimum encouragement to follow and Elrothiel immediately began to admire his style as she put him through his paces. His movement was fast and powerful and he soon came up close enough behind Lunarexion so that Elrothiel could speak to Eroswyn. "Do you think that they will send riders after us?" Elrothiel half-shouted over the thundering hooves.

Black Owltalon Amara Was flying over head, as, she suddenly smelled the blood. She noticed the rider and followed him. [Just so you know.. He's walking.] Unaware of a persuit, Ranu kept up his pace. After a few moments, his bare foot stamped on a sharp edged stone. He bit his dry lip to fight of a wimper of pain, and he walked slower until the agony subsided. When he could use his foot again, he sped back up. On the horizen, he caught sight of the great river. The sun was growing lower. He'd covered quite a distance because of his lack of rest. He'd rest in the woods, by hiding in a tree, then resume his march after a bit of sleep.

She followed him, gradually getting closer. When he stopped, Venerah circled ahead, afraid he'd noticed her and he stopped to attack. She slowly lost altitude, and then landed silently in a near-by pine tree. Venerah's feet suddenly hurt from crouching on a branch, so she sat down on the branch. She heard a faint crack, Oh no... She thought. The branch gave in, making Venerah crash to the ground.

Tiredly he put a hand on his sword, and crept into the forest, his muscles burning with the crouch he was in. Almost silently, he stalked through the forest, pausing as he caught a flash of red hair. He paused by a tree and crossed his arms, and sighed, "Thy noise, and hair gives thee away, lady elf." He said with a smirk, then moved closer to look at her. "Need a hand?" he asked.

"I doubt they will bother pursuing us, we probably did them a favor." Eroswyn shouted as he continued his way across the plains, intent on leaving Rohan as quickly as possible, but once they had crossed it's borders, he hoped that the elf would be more familiar with the lands of Gondor than he, for he had never been to the White City. But that was a problem for the future, for now they had to worry about escaping the lands of the horse-lords, hopefully without being pursued.

"Oh," She said, quickly removing her wing from her back. "Yes," She said, taking his hand. "Thankyou. I'm Amara Kavern. Daughter of the unknown. PLeased to meet you," She bowed.
