Hush looked at the smoke emerge from the alley. "What the...?" Then he recovered from the initial shock, and reached in his pocket, grabbing a scalpel lightly, ready to throw it at any threat. "Who are you, and what do you want?"
Joker saw some smoke come out of an alley, but paid it no mind; if it was important, he'd find out soon enough. If it had been the Bat-freak, it would have been much closer to him. His attention returned to Gossamer and Rosie.

"Hey!" Star shouted referring to the Jokey, Gossamer and Rosie. It was obvious who the fire starters were now. Landing several feet in front of them she pointed her staff at them. "You guys a re coming with me" She old him, levitating just barely off the ground.
Meanwhile
J'onn had gotten distracted by the smoke in the alley. Decreasing his density he phased through the building and into the alley to located the source ergo the two he had sensed earlier. The mist? It had reminded him of the mist that had appeared in the watchtower earlier on. Was this the person who had infiltrated their sensors?

Joker looked at Stargirl, listened to her, and laughed openly. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Sorry, Blondie, but I don't do jailbait. But, I DO have a consolation prize..." He drew out his pistol again. "HERE!" He fired, and a little 'BANG!' flag popped out of the end. "Oh..."

She was prepared to block the bullet with her staff, but to her surprise a flag came out. "Ok, so I knew you were a wackjob, but seriously how lame was that.." she said. Aiming her staff at him she smirked. "My turn.."

All Joker did in response to Stargirl's comment was smile. Smile, and pull the trigger again. The flag itself shot out of his revoler, and flew right at Stargirl's now unshielded shoulder.

She said ducking out of the way of the sharp projectile. A beam of light erupted from staff as she rolled off to the side heading straight for the joker.

Joker pushed Gossamer and Rosie down again, using his whole body weight, narrowly avoiding conact with the beam. Getting up and brushing himself off, he said, "Hey! Watch the jacket! I killed Iron Cross for touching it once. It's real velvet." He put away the gun, and now drew out a deck of playing cards. With a strangely genuine smile, he asked, "How about a card trick?"

She rolled her eyes. "Velvet?" She said. "As infamous as you are you still havn't got any good fashion sense.." She shot back. Narrowing her gaze at the deck of cards in his hands. She gripped her staff firmly in her hands. She had to be careful, this may have looked like a kids bad t.v. show, but he had all kinds of tricks up his sleeve.

She shrugged. "Ace of Spades.." She wasn't really a good card player anyway. Was she really playing a game with the Joker?

Was he serious? Star just shrugged. "Ok" Walking up to him she pulled a card from the deck. It was an Ace of spades ironically." Wow I must be psychic!" She shouted.

"What's with all the rules, geeze"She said picking up another card she placed it behind her. "Ok.." Then she realized what she was doing, she pressed the comm link in her staff to connect to the watchtower. Courtney was good at distractions apparently.
