"What about? I don't mind, just the cryptic wording piques my curiousity a bit, and, you know, nbles love getting their noses in a bit of intrigue once in a while..." I say in a curious and light hearted tone, but I let Xiao's hand go so she can follow Willow freely.

I simply shrug and take the plates to the sink, proceeding to wash the dishes as best I can.

Willow: Xiao nods. She follows you out of the room. "What is this about?" she asks.
Leina: It takes you about five minutes, but you get through it easily enough.

After I finish washing the dishes, I turn around and lean against the sink, somewhat thinking about everything that was going on...everything that had happened... Finally after a little while I decide to take off and explore, searching more for a room to go sleep in and claim as my own temporarily.

"I have some, friendly, advice" linking her arm into Xiao's she strolled down the coridor with her "You may want to be carefull, attaching yourself to us so much, especialy in the way you are with Layla, it wouldn't serve you very well to get attached".

I swear that I feel myself sweatdrop. "Heh... sorry about the long rant. Guess I should eat now..." And so I eat.

I start twitching, really, really, tempted to follow them, not as much out of being overprotective, but more of wanting to satisfy my curiousity. However, seeing as Willow was willing to be more of a team player then she nomally seemed before, I decide that giving her a bit of privacy might send along the message of trust she might need before she feels comfortable to trust us, so I content myself with looking for my two sets of clothes.

Leina: You have an option: search the west wing, the east wing, or the second floor.
Willow: "Excuse me?!" Xiao says loudly, pulling her arm away from you. "What are you trying to say?" She has stopped walking.
Nyx: The stew is quite delicious.
Layla: You easily find a long black dress and a set of clothes similar to the one that you liked but let Xiao take: a top that shows quite a bit of skin and a skirt that hides just enough to keep them wondering.

"Yes! These look quite charming!" I say to myself, putting the items in my pack, concluding the last of of my travel packing. I look out the window to find out what time it of day it is to see if it's better to rest or move out.

As I pause in the spot where I could choose any of these three options, I decide to go upstairs, as I had seen none of that yet, and head up rather swiftly.

Layla: The sky reveals that it is only the afternoon: the sun won't be setting for several more hours. You will be able to easily reach the next town over long before nightfall.
Leina: There are several doorways: one at the end of the hall, one marked with the name XIAO, one marked with the name LAYLA, one from which you can hear the voices of Branwen and Mazurn, and two other doors.

Just as I look at the light, I remember that I needed a hat, so I go look for one real quick before I go off to find everyone to get going. I didn't like staying here longer then I had to, and finding an inn in the town should be easy. If it comes to it, we could camp outside, though I didn't peticularly like the idea of being without shelter...

"Think about it personaly, we are all not eactly from here, and where we are going will most likely be very dangerous, if something were to happen we may need you at your best, and if layla or one of the others dies, you may end up rought with grief or anger which is something they cannot afford" she had continued walking as she spoke albeit slower. "Oh, and you wouldn't happen to know where some parchment and a quil are would you?"

A great wave of curiousity overcomes me as I hear Branwen's and Mazurn's voice come from the room and I decide to walk as silently to the door as I can and press my ear against it to see if I can hear anything.

Layla: You finally find one on top of the wardrobe. It takes some effort to get to it, but you manage it easily enough. It's a simple hat, but its brim is wide.
Willow: "Not from here?" Xiao says. "Layla was born and raised in this house!" When you get to the end of your speech, she approaches you slowly. She slaps you before you can react. "They're in the library," she says angrily. She stomps off back to Layla's room.
Layla: Xiao returns, huffing angrily as she sits on your bed, her arms crossed.
Leina: Branwen seems to be wondering about some painting or other.
