"Damn and I thought I was going to get you with the ladies comment." Though she didn't fight him about it or anything, merely let him lead her around and thus to Radiance. Of course she ignored the little looks from techs and the like, as far as she was concerned, she had nothing to do with them anymore, and they were just sore losers.
A look to James. "I'm a milkduds person. Used to eat them all the time when I was little. Mother used to scream at me about it for chewing on them." She gave a little laugh at the memory...oh yes, the horrors of chewing on milkduds. "I'm low maintenance, remember? I don't need much."

He grinned lightly, and nodded At thier turn in line, he put on hand about her waist lightly. the girl at the counter raise a brow, James never came here with company. Of course by now everyone knew him by sight, thanks to a certain live feed.
"two boxes of milkdud and one box of raisinets and a bag fo twizzlers..and a couple of large sodas.."
A glance at Jelena.
"What would you like to drink, I'm getting a cherry coke."

Jelena was being a scientist, noticing details and the like. Yes, she saw the look from the girl behind the counter, and found it a little amusing on her part. She was sure that there were going to start being rumors oh how Jelena was molding James into what she wanted from him and thus reduce him from his former glory into nothing more than a personal servant.
"Pepsi works." Ah the classic caffeine drinks and food stuffs. Sure, formulas and the like had improved over the years, but that was noting new. And hey...they were like velcro. Ah, nostalgia. Then she laughed lightly and had to poke at him again. "You carrying all this like a good boy? I mean, seeing as I only have one arm to work with."

"Not all of it. you got one good hand still."
So he hande her the pepsi, and carried the candy in one hand his own soda in the other..and led her to the theater showing thier movie. not too many people, after all this was an old movie, classic by thier reckoning.
"where to sit. you prefer middle or back? since I'm not letting up up front to starre up at eh screen and crik your neck along with your shoulder."

"Pity. And to think I thought I was going to get some use out of you." She laughed but took her drink none the less and followed him along. Good lord, it really had been some years since she did this. Though she remembered how she preferred things.
"My memory serves me well in this area, I've always like to sit in the back...it's easier to throw things at people." A look to him with a playful smile. "Childish games aside, I do prefer the back to anywhere else." And so she took about picking seats for them. Back row, center seats. Perfect spot really.

He followed her, and sat beside her, handing her the milkduds once she got situated, and opening the boxes for her.
"It's a good movie. about machines and computers and them taking over the world type stuff. you'll like it. I think you'll be a big Morpheous fan."
A chuckle as the movie started, James gnawing on a twizzler.
"Great pick of seats, by the way."

"What can I say, I know how to pick things. It's a talent. Like I could pick that you have a nice a**." Ah yes, the a** joke. Shaking her head lightly she took her box from him, popping a milkdud much like she had pills earlier...cept she didn't swallow it like the pills. After all, milkduds had a certain method to them if one wanted to not get their jaws glued together with caramel.
"Computers and machines, taking over the world. Sounds snazzy indeed. Though I'm sure I'll end up picking at it more than anything. Gotta love how they used to think how technology would be back in those times." But attention ahead, popping another milkdud.

"This one is the best one ever though. really makes you think."
He ate twizzlers and raisinets when they ran out, drinkign from hs soad as needed, and watching Jelena on occasion through the movie, mostly just to get her reactions and the like, reaching behind and around, resting his hand on the back of her seat. he wasn't about to try and get fresh when the hand that would most likely be jerked to slap him was the injured arm.

She had to admit, made her think that was for sure. Quite the little plot that had been set up, and to think how old this movie was and yet...it really was close to what was happening now...well, excluding the machines and computers taking over the world part. Though it was highly plausible this day and age.
Though it was quite amazing how she took on milkduds with such finesse...usually one would be prying apart their jaws by now. But this was Jelena, who had a method. With a slight laugh though, after popping a milkdud she leaned over to James, while her eyes stayed on the screen. "You're supposed to be pretending to yawn, ya know." What? She wasn't stupid.

He leaned back over, not taking his eyes off the screen either.
"And like pretending to yawn wouldn't have looked ridiculus during this movie. I'm not about to insult your intelligence, Jelena."
They were abiout halfway through now, the sequence of Neo and his woman, Trinity, trying to rescue Morpheous from Agent Smith and his two lackeys in thie rmilitary dominated skyscrapper.

"Well isn''t that sweet of you." She chuckled slightly and returned her attention to the screen. It was a rather interesting mix of themes really, all tied together into something that made you theorize as well as stare in wonderment over the visual effects and the like. It really was quite the attraction, and no wonder it had been deemed a classic. So in effect, when you weren''t thinking about things, you were reacting to the action. Hm, seemed someone knew what he was doing.

Well since she mentioned it, his arm moved down lightly on her shoulder, making sure not to tamper with the injured one, while they watched the movie. Ya morph was rescues andgot out..then trinity..no neo. phone got itself shot..and then a Neo versus Agent Smith fight...and the 'ooo your in trouble' moment when Neo borke agent smith's glasses..proceeded by 'I'm going to enjoy watching you die, Mr. Anderson.."
lots of special effects, the hyper speed and slow motion stuff...and yay..anget smithi hit by the subway train..until he came off the saem train no worse for wear. damn that possing people thing. So now it wsa Neo on teh run, on the phone getting directions to a way out while people just spontaneously became agents and firing guns, throwing knives, trying to stop him.

It was a rather cute moment to say the least. But still the movie was as captivating as ever...even when she knew there were things she could probably prove weren't possible, but she didn't let her mind take over and analyze the hell out of the movie. That would just suck all the fun out of it.
And thus never the less, she was enjoying watching a man's vision of a world like this with the ever classic aspect of the hero verses all as well. Scenes were proving climatic as ever, holding attention, making her wonder what possible wonder had been thought up next to make this thing all the better.

He was going to make it...even as in the real world, more trouble. big squid like machines were tearing apart the ship, while they waited to use thier only defense, an EMP device, for neo to get out. Neo was moving through the hallways of the buildign the movie had started in..you coudl hear the phone ringing. He opened the door..and bang. gunshot. Agent Smith was already there. Neo tried to get past, and Agent smith shot him again, looking quite..angry..empting the whole clip into him.
the other two moved to neo, checking his pulse. dead. James didn''t like this part, seemed a bit..hokey to him. in the real world, morph and the others can''t beleive the One was killed. Trinity confessed her love, and a kiss brought Neo back to life.
He got up, and all three agents fired on him from down teh hall where they were leaving. Neo says ''no'' and the bullets stop in midair..he picks on up, drops it, and the rest fall to teh floor.
Agent Smith..tries to fight hand to hand..and Neo beging s to block with one arm..hsi hand moving at ungodly fast speeds..and one kcik sned agent smith on his a** all the way down the hall. Neo then jumps into anget smith..and blows him up form the inside out. the other agents look at eachther...and run.
Neo gets out, EMP saves the ship..hooray for the good guys. Neo, back int eh matrix, talks to teh system itself on a payphone...and then flies off screen, apparently fully in control of his godlike power...and roll credits.

Quite the little rush of things going on all at once as the apparent ending was closing in easily enough, follow the basic plot structure of well, anything. Though she did have to raise an eyebrow at the fact that apparently they killed him...then a profession of love and a kiss brought him back...that was just...well she didn't know the word she wanted to use from her vast vocabulary.
Jelena supposed it was to add that touch of romance theory, 'love conquers all' thing into play...right. Apparently love and kisses also put in in greater control of well...everything. Powers, a** kicking, charisma. Right again. Then the movie ended its rather unique fashion, credits rolling and lights on.
"That was...intersting I think is the word I want. Interesting but none the less enjoyable."
