Ekeanyanwu All I'm saying is that labels don't make you. YOU make the labels. That's all. Okay? And I didn't deny it, I denied being sorry about it.
What came first, the chicken, or the egg?

I really respect you, Diamond. But I also have homework, and I really don't have time to support my thesis, so I respectfully withdraw.

@Naomi~ Interrogative: How is ignoring a part of you different from avoiding it?

xxx»ʆibby wants to play... →@Izzy: Think of it as a person. This person is talking to you and to ignore him, you're still in the vicinity but not taking it on. Avoidance of this person would lead to not wanting to be in the same room as the person for anything. You ignore an issue, you're still there whenever it is being discussed but if you avoid it, you're not going to be anywhere near it. I hope that made sense. I think it did. ...φlay with her?« xxx

Nothing wrong with a little friendly debate, Naomi.
@Diamond: I cannot put a label on myself because I see myself as myself. I do not feel unique, nor do I feel like another face in the crowd. I just cannot label myself because I don't appreciate having the word "freak" or "prep" over my head and having to live with it every day. Ultimately, I feel that labels and stereotyping is just another excuse to use racism or personal dislike against another person and thus, why I don't like labeling.

@Silestyna: So it boils back around to the "R" word? Racism is frowned upon only because it cannot be controlled; most of the sinners of the world are in the same boat.
One must be either a "face in the crowd" or "unique" as there is no other option. There is a line in the sand; you may stand to the right of it, or you may stand to the left of it.
@Naomi: I understood. "A square is always a rectangle, but a rectangle is not always a square."

are we not all unique in our own ways? It takes someone special to notice you arent just another face in the crowd. So in a way. You are both a nobody and a unique individual.

@Cuppy: That is only running on the theory that there not another person in the world that is essentially a photocopy of your physiological make-up; a statistic improbability.

and as for the sexuality thing i didnt come out to my mom until my step sister found out and that hoe cant keep a secret if her life depended on it. She found out by going through my phone. and next thing i knew she was saying "I knew it!" And i was like knew what. And she ended up showing me a pic of my ex gf that was innapropriate. I lied and said that she just wanted my opinion on something, but then later that night she called me as she was cheating on me and i threw a fit. One thing you never want to hear is your significant other moaning someone elses name then getting on the phone and saying "What do you think of that b***h." when i told my mom i thought she was going to murder me. I actually waited until i was in the car with her, in the back seat, so she wouldnt smack me. She called me a liar though. that was pretty funny. lol.
