Sorry, my job kept me suuuper busy all summer; I really was barely on Gaia over the last few months, but I tried to check in...

Anyway, you see the problem pretty clearly...in order for us to get anything happening, we need to all be enthused at the same time, and its so hard to force that. The quickest way to do that would probably be to get a whole new set of Staff, but that would probably mean alot of changes in how the Press runs and feels, and it feels odd to do that without the old core members...its a sticky situation...

Well, I'm back too. And hopefully for good, this time. But, yeah. I think we need a new staff. Or, at the very least, find some of the still active people who were on the old staff.

I give my blessing to any and all changes made by new staff, so long as they respect my authority, and don't ever expect me to do s**t.

Though I might have more time next semester when I'm not taking 18 hours.

And it's not so much that I don't find time to visit the guild, it's that I forgot to.

i pwnz teh 200th post w00t

Maybe it's just because I haven't been at the Press as long as the rest of you, but it doesn't seem like a sticky situation to me. I don't see why we can't just implement one of Rushifa's ideas for recruiting new members and give the Press some new life that way. We can't keep sitting around pining for old members who just aren't going to come back. It's almost painful, constantly talking about what we need to do, or ought to do, and then never doing it. If people are truly willing to revive the Press, then unless you have an alternative to Rushifa's suggestions, let's just have a go.

And in case anyone's wondering, I PMed Serieve months ago and she never replied. Granted I was a little... blunt, for lack of a better word, but at least an annoyed response would have been something.
