"Not the best of artists." he piled his own images to the side so they didn't mix with Ritzu's, amusedly humming as he sifted through the collection before him. He couldn't help but ponder over the gender of the photographer before falling silent. "...Hmm." The hooded individual bore similar markings to someone from memory and with past readings fresh on his mind, along with the inclusion of those papers infront of him he found it make perfect sense for someone who didn't want to be found, to be residing in Lady Snake's City... He had little interest in stirring trouble, but after glancing through the neatly stacked bundles, Creed concluded that this suspect would most likely have not been around when the bullet was dispatched...Eliminating him from the line - for now. The female proved more interesting however, he'd caught glimpses of her in the past and had always wondered what part she played in the big game, but his eyes narrowed after some scrutiny of her photographs and his hand suddenly extended towards the images of Richard and Lina. Silently, as though pieces of a great puzzle were finally fitting together, he placed her picture between that of the two before folding his arms and leaning forward on the desk to scrutinise them closely. "Take a look for yourself." it wasn't the lead they were looking for, but it was certainly an interesting development. he scooted back on Ritzu's seat to allow her a closer glance, "I haven't yet decided who owns the bullet, but she could prove a little more interesting than someone's discarded projectile." he reached for the stack of personal images, flicking through the anthology of animal pictures whilst he waited his fellow scientist's reaction. ~*~*~ Cyrus didn't take the 'Old Man' comment to heart, but he added it to his growing list of things to despise the Owls for... There was no respect for anyone below them, regardless of their age or rank. He took his place a safe distance away so he wouldn't be accused of endangering the Tigress's life, then turned his head to see that the masked youth still hadn't moved and the Owl was becoming a little irritated at his apparent disobedience... "don't you dare show me up. Boy." she leant into him slightly, then gave him a shove, forcing the male to his feet. He stumbled, but recovered remarkably well before turning his masked vision back towards her as though glaring... "No weapons." she added, "I'm sure Lord Dragon won't appreciate blood on his carpet..." she smirked at this, not really caring for the Owl's carpet as she wasn't going to be staying there. "Won't those pretty sleeves get in the way?" Cyrus attempted a little smack talk, but with his face hidden behind the mask the youth seemed indifferent. "Let's get on with this then hmm?" He took a stance, preparing himself for a strike before exhaling a sigh as his opponent made no move to advance. "I guess I'll start then." he started forward, but before he was even halfway across the floor, the youth was upon him. Initially, he saw but a fleeting glance of the mask up close, the cold eyes staring back at him through the holes before it disappeared, twisting away, the male spun around the Hunter's back, landing a hard kick that sent the man staggering forward. Cyrus righted himself and turned to find the male standing as he had before. He was quicker than he remembered... Was it really Tala? Or had he been mistaken? "I see." Recovering himself, the Hunter smirked, then started forward again, waiting for the youth to react. A flash of blue met his eyes, but this time, Cyrus was ready. Turning, he grabbed the offending foot that had sent him flying the last time, spinning round and taking the youth with him before releasing his grip and watching as his opponent flew across the temporary arena. The youth skidded on his back across the floor before pushing himself up and landing in a crouched position, there was no moment of recovery however and the masked one lunged forward, his hands momentarily touching ground to balance him before he threw himself at his enemy. Cyrus took the full force of the hit and the pair were pushed back a few inches before his opponent struck upward - an attempt to throw him perhaps? The Hunter had experience at his hand and caught the offending limbs, landing a strike across the youth's face before gripping the scarf that had been wrapped no neatly around his neck. His hand free, the masked one also took a hold of the scarf, locking a brief glance with his opponent before tugging hard and wrapping the cloth around the Hunter's hand. Cyrus was momentarily confused, but stiffened as the eyes behind the mask glinted maliciously and the youth suddenly dropped to the ground. In that one swift motion, the masked one slid between the Hunter's legs, dragging the man's wrapped hand with him. The motion drew his opponent downward and as the youth rose to his feet, Cyrus's posterior was in great position for kicking. Landing a strike, the youth tugged his scarf free of his somersaulting elder and returned it to his neck. The act earned a round of applause from the crowd, and even the Tigress looked a little impressed - even though she was clearly trying to keep up her aloof composure... It took the Hunter a moment to rise, but as he straightened up, stretching the ache from his muscles, he turned to find the youth standing once again like he had done before the battle, silent, unmoving, as though waiting for him to make the first move. "You're fast, I'll give you that." Rolling his shoulders Cyrus took a step forward, attempting to read his opponent for any sign of weakness, he quickened his pace as he advanced, twisting as he moved within striking distance before aiming a blow right for the youth's head. His eyes widened as the vision suddenly disappeared, letting out a gasp as a blow came from behind, knocking him forward into the crowd who shied away as he stumbled and dropped onto his hands and knees. "I think you should take a break," Tigress cooed from her seat as the man struggled to rise, "Go and have another drink," She extended a hand, willing her pet to her side, "I wouldn't want you to embarrass yourself any further..." there was a grin on her lips, then she spread her other hand out towards the crowd, "Does anyone else want to try their hand?""Wait!" Cyrus moved to advance, but Tigress's guards moved in, ushering him away from the scene as the youth returned to his seat beside his Mistress... The Hunter muttered something beneath his breath as he walked away from the gathering, it may have looked like a loss, but he'd achieved what he'd intended to discover and retired to the drinks station to plan his next move.

Ritzu made her way over and looked at the desk to see what Creed had. She pushed her glasses up looking at him to see him looking through a stack of photos. "Soldier Comrade thinks I need to get out more so takes pictures of practically everything. It can be very annoying. He's very bubbly and up beat around me." She explained before looking at the three photos.
She blinked, leaning closer and adjusted her glasses as she looked at the photos of Richard and Lina then the one between them. "Who in the world? I haven't seen this one before." Ritzu remarked sounding a bit astonished at the resemblance. "Did you find any files on this woman? It's remarkable the similarities." She looked at the three photos again before standing upright, turning her attention to Creed.
"Where did you find that photo of that woman? She's in Lord Dragon's city so tell me what you know, if anything, about her or if you found anything in any system documents?" she didn't want to admit she hadn't gone through a majority of the photographs. "I will admit I am now more curious about her than I am over who took out a current corpse but at the same time...I'm wondering if she knows anything about the murder." Her sights returned to the photo of Fire, folding her arms. "She could have also been the shooter for all we know."
Silver sipped his drink having watched the fight and grew curious about the young man. He hadn't seen anyone move like that before with such fluidity or use that kind of style for fighting. Looking around some he finished his drink and stood, stepping away from the bar and made his way up the stairs when he heard Lady Tigress place out the offer for anyone else to try.
He was feeling sure this would be interesting and was hoping to see an extent if he could. He also had the side thought if there was a show then that would help make sure Fire didn't need to deal with more than just one Owl, maybe even let her take care of Dragon without much fuss. He stepped upstairs and bowed politely at the waist with one hand on his chest.
"Good evening Lady Tigress. I heard the call and I would like to test my hand for your entertainment this evening, if I may." Silver said smoothly in a tone to put out there he was but a humble being that was there to entertain and bring joy to the Owls. He stood upright after his greeting and watched her from behind his mask as he lowered his hand from where it had been crossed over his chest to rest at his side.
If permitted he would advance and removed his jacket, a waiter taking it to hold it for him. If he was allowed to near he would take a stance in the cleared area and watch the youth, taking in his height and position. He hadn't seen the fight clearly but had seen enough to be curious and if a fight was offered then that would be something he hadn't done often. If the youth came to the ready but did not attack first then Silver would step slow then quick towards Tala straight at him then dart to the right at the last moment, pushing towards Tala and swinging his leg aiming for the youths back.
If it struck he would spin around then start to advance towards the youth watching for what he would do. If the strike missed then he would try to recover but if throne would be thrown, sliding to a stop and get to his feet quick as he could and advance with a false right punch followed up by a real left punch.
Below this Fire danced with Lord Dragon. She had heard the events above earlier but focused on her target, playing up the flattered young woman act as best she could. "It must be nice to be in a place with such class." Dragon cooed softly.
"It is a wonderful marvel and much higher end than anything Lord Wolf has put forth in his city." Fire commented with a lighthearted and airy giggle. "The city is nice but rustic can only be taken in so much before it falls sour."
Dragon chuckled at this his eyes sparking with a liking to this one. "Of course, I try to lecture that animal on decor and how to properly make his city and yet he continues to make it his own with basic things and too much on the nature side. I swear he puts more of his budget into landscaping than he does in structures." He sighs sounding exhausted by the thought of Lord Wolf's city.
"It is very full of nature and beautiful but it does get tiring to see such things so often." Fire sighed tiredly.
"Oh you poor dear. You are such a beautiful creature, it's such a shame you must live in such squaller." Dragon cooed with a small pout as one hand moved up to brush against her cheek delicately and flicked a small lose strain of hair. Lucky for her the strain was only one color not two.
"It would be so wonderful if I could stay somewhere nicer for once." She sighed down casting her eyes with her chin lowering only to be lifted by a gentle hand of Dragon as her eyes met his.
"I could easily offer you a nice place to stay if you care to join me. In fact...how about we cut this dance short, I'll have some drinks brought to us and I show you one of the private chambers built into this place for anyone that would care to stay?" Lord Dragon purred as he got close and licked her lower lip.
Inside Fire felt disgust and wanted to headbutt him but withheld that anger for later. "That sounds delightful." she made herself choke out in a soft whisper, closing her eyes and giggled a little.
Dragon smiled loving that answer and seeing her blush. Gently he brought their dance to an end and with his arm around her waist to lift to her back he lead her to the side and out a door, and up a staircase as he lead her to one of the second floor bedchambers which showed no expense was left to chance.
Lady Snake turned her eyes down to watch Lord Dragon leaving with the woman and scoffed at the sight. "He sure knows how to defile our high name." She muttered looking to watch the festivities on their level, having found the first fight very entertaining and was looking forward to a second if it happened.
Snake's escort chuckled watching this and watched the 'old man' be removed. "He was a fiery old cuss, was he not, my Lady?"
Snake chuckled nodding. "He was, too bad he lacks enough brain cells." She mocked giggling behind one hand very lady like.
Lord Raven clapped applauding the show and chuckled. "I hope this second one is smarter and better than the last." He remarked as his escort nodded and snuggled close to him as their order was brought to them. Even Lord Wolf with his escort watched from their table to see how this second fight would go in hand to hand.
"Maybe if it gets dull we can give them a weapon like a knife and see if one kills another. We can always blame the pitiful help on the stains. Then we get to see more of the useless trash be taken out." Wolf remarked roughly with a grin.
"You are such a devil, Lord Wolf. You make those of the past look like angels." The woman with him commented with a stroke of the chest of his suit.
He grinned at her touch and moved, nibbling her neck as he pulled her onto his lap. "Oh you are wishing to dare your Lord? Well keep it up and we might need to defile some other area's of this place." He growled playfully which made the woman giggle and swoon.
Silver hearing this internally rolled his eyes as he focused on his hand to hand fight with Tala if it was allowed and on going.

Creed found it hard to hold back the comment as to whether his associate was doing her job properly when she mentioned having not seen the picture before, choosing to nod in understanding and regard for Ritzu's Soldier comrade's profession and urging rather than dwelling on the thought, "They were...in the documents you left me," he tilted his head, "I merely took a glance over the old files and there they were, hidden amongst the leaves, so to speak..." he smiled, then rose, making his way back to his desk before opening up the folders he'd read on the computer. "I also wouldn't discount that she may have some connection to our victim, you are correct of course about her residing in Lord Dragon's city, I've seen glimpses of her myself." he nodded, sitting back in the chair so Ritzu could re-read the documents he assumed she'd skimmed before. "You may also want to read over that piece regarding the 'Homeless' Man in Lady Snake's city, I don't believe someone can just disappear like that, y'know?" He casually flicked through the animal pictures as he leant against the edge of the desk, "Awweh, so cute...!" he smiled at the picture of a young puppy playing with its littermates, "Maybe I could take a few of these to hang on my wall...?"~*~*~ The Tigress had almost mocked the crowd for not stepping forward to challenge her pet, but as she was about to call the youth back to his place, her eyes flicked towards the man who advanced and requested so politely a chance to take part - and for her entertainment as well! "If you want to try your hand, then by all means," she held her stoic expression, then cast a glance towards the masked youth who returned to where he had stood to fight the Hunter. As Silver had predicted, the youth remained still, watching from behind the mask as the waiter took the man's jacket and left the space so he wouldn't get in their way. He now observed the Shader's slow approach, narrowing his eyes as he pondered over what the guy had planned, all the while remaining still before bracing himself as Silver put on a burst of speed. As the man reached his target and feigned off to the side before delivering a blow, it would unexpectedly phase through the youth's body as Tala's vision disappeared from sight, before reappearing to deliver a shove that would see Silver continue on his trajectory. The masked youth landed neatly behind, watching as the man came to a stop and turned, moving back with speed towards him with a right fist clenched and prepared to strike. Instinctively, the youth lifted his arms to block the hit, losing vision momentarily as the left hook struck him in the temple, he fell at an angle, landing on his hands and knees, a crack visible in the side of the blue mask. Tigress sat bolt upright in her seat, a look of shock and perhaps a little anger on her face as she watched her pet go down. Without a word, she held out an arm, stopping the guards in their advance as they started to move towards the scene, "Continue." she watched as the youth pushed himself back to his feet, steadying himself before retaking his initial stance. A gasp from the crowd upon Silver's blow had drawn the Hunter's attention and Cyrus lifted his head to glance back towards the temporary arena. It was a likely chance that the youth had claimed victory over another hot-headed male vying for the Tigress's interest, but with a growing crowd, it was getting harder to see. Taking his glass in hand, the Hunter rose from his seat, taking a moment to steady himself before advancing towards the scene.

Ritzu frowned wondering how she missed it. Taking a breath she released it frustrated she had over looked information. "Alright then, well I can send Solder Comrade out to Lady Snake's city to locate the homeless man for me. If he can get something of DNA off him and brought back then it should be easy to identify him." She moved and sat down with the documents she had not read closely the first time.
She was silent as she read, her voice when she did finally speak sounding flat and distant as she was still reading. "Only current to date Shader not found and presumed dead but no body to be discovered would be Lysin Dole. I'll have Comrade go and see if he can get me some kind of sample from this man. If it is Lysin he'll need to be captured and brought in."
She went quiet again as she looked up from the file and towards the photo of Fire, picking it up eyeing her over. "If you have caught glimpses of her then she must be a Shader if she's not in the open like normal people." Ritzu shifted her eyes to look at Creed, "do you think you can capture her for me and get samples? Maybe even do some insight into any work the dead soldier was working on that wasn't in the system?"
Hearing about the photos of the animals she heaved a sigh nodding and leaned back. "Of course, be my guest, take whichever ones you like. He's bound to bring me more. He's supposed to be focused on his guard work yet he loves to take photographs. Apparently someone in his family was a photographer." she commented rolling her eyes lightly.
Silver would pause to watch the youth go down and glanced around upon hearing the gasps and the sound of footsteps. He saw the soldiers stop and was glad to hear Tigress order for them to continue. He turned his sights back on the youth to see him get to his feet and steadying himself. As he watched his mind replied his first miss, at how he had gone through the masked youth compared to hitting him normally.
He must be something from the Owl's tests, thus having some form of magic. This might become interesting if he uses it more than evasion. He thought before slowly advancing towards the youth, his moves casual before suddenly bolting to the left, behind and to the right. If he could get to the right then he would swing a kick up towards Tala's head as a distraction.
If the distraction worked as Silver's body came around he would throw a right punch for the youth's stomach in an aim to knock the air out of him. If the kick and punch missed then he braced himself to take a blow.
If a blow was made he would take it and fall back only to stand and shake himself off and shake out one leg, stretching one arm across his chest then the other to give the appearance he was loosening up as if he had been going easy on the masked youth.
After this if he could he would step once then soon move into a run, using his teleporting for short distances so to close in faster to the youth. He would swing around and if it would he aimed to slam his elbow into the youths back aiming to throw him to the ground. If it did not hit then Silver would spin around and carefully move his footing with a short teleport to give the illusion he was using quicker footwork to dodge a strike if one came.
The other Owls all winced in seeing the blow and then were on the edge of their seats, watching this fight. "It looks like the new guy has some moves on him, better than the drunk." Lord Wolf remarked.
"I must agree, are you sure your pet is up to handling this lowlife? You really aren't good at picking good pets that can fight, are you Lady Tigress?" Lady Snake asked with a bit of venom as she had a sweet smile on her painted lips, taking a sip of her drink after having a bite of food.
"Aw must you be so harsh on Lady Tigress? It is not all who can have as such taste as you Lady Snake." Snake's escort praised which brought her to giggle and compliment his excellent taste.
Lord Raven watched the Shader closely pondering before looking to the woman with him as she purred and nuzzled him from where she had scooted to sit on his lap. "You okay my Lord Raven?" she purred cutely.
"I am, I was just watching how that man started out quick but has become quicker. And the fact he could land a punch like that astounds me." Raven said to his escort as she nodded.
"Maybe he could be your pet." She suggested giggling.
"Nah, he's not cute enough as you and the others are back home." Raven growled as he nipped the top of her ear which made her release a small pleased sound from her throat quietly before turning her attention back to the fight with Raven and the others.
Fire in the room with Lord Dragon moved with him towards the bed, her heart racing as she tried to think of when to strike. She did not wish to sleep with him or be intimate. The very thought disgusted her. Dragon closed the door to the dimly lit room and purred as he made his way towards her, starting to remove his tie. "Now then, my lovely vixen, how about we get to know the other more closely and you can see how a real man is?" he chuckled.
"I am not sure, my Lord Dragon. Do you think it is right while gusts are still below us?" Fire asked sweetly as she stepped around only to stumble and land on the bed on her butt.
"I am very sure. I built this place. I can do as I want." Lord Dragon pointed out as he made his way closer to her, causing her to slip back on the bed, him nearing closer and crawling on the bed after her. "Don't you try to play too hard to get. I get mean when I am denied something I want too often." he cooed with a bit of a snarl in his voice.
She gulped and gave a sweet smile, thinking and moved closer to his body, grabbing his collar to jerk him closer so her nose was almost touching his. "Then don't let me deny you, my Lord." She purred seductively to him as he chuckled, grinning and moved closer.
As he slipped closer to start kissing her and holding her close in his arms, she slipped one hand carefully through a hidden slit in her dress, releasing soft sounds as he kissed to keep him thinking she wanted him like all the others who were flattered by his act. I'm so bathing after this! This is so gross! she screamed in her head as she felt her knife at her upper hip.
Gently she began to slowly remove it from its holster, shifting to press herself closer to him and began to kiss and nipping his neck then earlobe in return, causing him now to moan as she worked to get her blade out of its spot to use.

"I wish I had access to the resources you do..." Skylar sighed, then paused in his flicking through the images as a thought sprung to mind, "Mind you, I do have that Hunter...Maybe I could get him to do what I want?" this comment was of course to himself, but fully audible. He adjusted his position, then turned his gaze to Ritzu, "I can't make any promises, but I'd certainly love to try and capture her." he smirked, immediately considering ways as to how he could wrangle someone with such agility. If she was a shader, then she might easily be able to teleport... "I'd never dismiss someone's artistic flair though, you never know how long these people are going to be around..." it was grim, but he said this with such a calm voice as though he'd experienced this many a time he'd hardened to the fact. Pocketing the pictures that had held his eye, Creed rose from his seat and stretched, "Is that food I smell? I quite forgot how hungry I was..." he smirked, ~*~*~ He'd seen this kind of move before and had already predicted that Silver would feint away before striking at an unexpected angle. Aware of this, he allowed the man to advance, remaining still as the Shader moved around him before stepping back to avoid the kick. The punch wasn't so easily blocked, but he was able to raise his arms in just enough time to take some power out of the blow - he was forced to take another step back with the strength of the hit, but as their eyes met, the youth would smirk behind the mask before twisting away to the side. "I have full faith in the abilities of my...Pet." Tigress smirked, having a good idea as to what would come next before narrowing her eyes as the youth performed something quite the opposite... Without warning, a large, black shadow in the shape of a wolf would appear before Silver's eyes. It formed seemingly out of mid-air, just infront of the crowd, landing all four paws on the ground before leaping up at the Shader's chest - This blow when it connected would indeed send him back as a result of the semi-failed hit, but as Silver shook it off the crowd were already starting to murmur about what they'd seen... The masked youth had already resumed his position when Silver started on his next move, he watched as the Shader charged in, narrowing his eyes as his opponent seemed to disappear at points before leaving his line of vision altogether... The blow struck would throw him to the ground, but instead of falling flat, he would roll, pushing himself up before charging in with a full force attack of his own - If it connected, the impact would throw the man back into the crowd, if it didn't, the youth would continue forward several steps before twisting round and disappearing completely. If Silver was indeed thrown, Tigress would lean across towards Lady Snake with the comment "What do you think of him now?" before sitting back with a pleased grin; should the latter happen where the youth disappeared, her eyes would widen and she would leap to her feet, looking around shocked before wondering if the youth had taken the chance to escape - if that was the case, she would call off the fight and then order her guards to disperse and search for him. Having felt the chill in the air as the youth had summoned the wolf, Cyrus had woven his way to the front of the crowd, watching the fray between the pair before tensing at the result of their latest assault... If Silver came flying towards him, he would brace himself to take the impact, steadying the man and lifting his unimpressed gaze towards the youth, if the hit had been dodged and the masked one ended up on a collision course with the crowd, he would be one of those amazed when the youth's vision suddenly disappeared into thin air...

Ritzu listened and took to mind what he suggested then slowly nodded. "Alright, see if your Hunter friend can gain any information on what the soldier was doing that is beyond even my access. I have no doubt you will be able to. Also....with the one that causes you stress, if there be anyway I can help aid you with that one then do not be afraid to ask." She offered before going quiet then speaking again.
"I know you will be able to do it and if she can or not I have no idea. She's never been tested on so if she does have magic it means that parents with magic can pass it onto their offspring. Which means..." she adjusted her glasses, "she most likely will have fire or ice given the code names for the two she resembles and may be blood related to." she looked to the photos then to Skylar again. "I trust if you can capture her that you know the length of tests to run to find out all you can on her for me, including interrogation?"
Ritzu sighed relaxing in her seat. "I'll take to memory about someone's gift. I must admit....he is very skilled." She sighed smirking and nodded. "Yes, have what you like, I also brought you a drink as well." She pointed out, amused. "I'm wondering how you are still alive as much as you possibly skip eating."
Silver would be struck by the wolf but when it came to the masked youths last strike Silver would doge it and let the youth continue before he would blink as the youth disappeared from sight. He was shocked but then a small smile started to tug at his lips. He had seen a spark of life to the youths eyes and he was impressed and hoping he did flee. Hopefully we'll meet again if you did indeed escape. Your power would be wonderful with us. he thought.
Adjusting himself he slowly turned to look at Tigress rubbing the back of his head nervously. "Is this a trick you've taught your pet, magnificent Lady Tigress?" Silver asked in his polite charming tone. He spotted the Hunter and was hoping he would be able to find the youth, feeling the masked youth would be safer with Skylar and his friend than any one of the Owls.
He moved to try and make his way over to the side to retrieve his jacket, thinking this was going to be fine and he felt he had done a good job to make sure none of the Owls would had noticed him using magic.
Lady Snake would smirk and purred softly. "Well I would say if you learned to seduce your pets then maybe they wouldn't all run off to end their lives." She laughed loving this and thinking Tigress had lost another pet. "Maybe you need to learn to be less fierce to your pets you want to keep at hand." She cooed giggling sweetly.
In the bedchamber Fire got the blade out and carefully moved it around as she slipped her body closer to his. She started to slip it behind him and rose it being careful as she could. She kept up the acts to make him release sounds of pleasure. "This is," she stabbed the blade into his back and pressed the button to start electrocuting Dragon, "for my mother and father." she hissed coldly, her eyes narrowing as she twisted the blade in his back.
Lord Dragon released a roar like cry of pain from the blade then another yell as she spat fire out at him from her mouth. As the fire struck his face he shot her with his own magic, causing her to scream a high pitched scream as the fire hit her, burning her side and upper arm around her shoulder and around the right of her neck.
Viola rolled and managed to get the fire out. She hissed and stumbled to her feet, her dress tearing at the base as she ran and moved to get her dagger back out of his bleeding back.
Lord Dragon snarled, glaring at her as her hair fell down and she spat out flames into his face again and down onto the bed to make the room burn. She twisted her blade, shocking him once more as she got it out and fell when his gauntlet slashed across her back, leaving four bleeding claw marks see-able through where the dress was slashed.
Fire cried out and stumbled falling but started to stand again as she turned and quickly spat, shooting out ice now at him. The ice met with the fire and brought a loud hiss as it turned into steam. She cut the ice and coughed hard as she switched back to fire, spitting out more before stumbling to make her way out, letting Dragon burn as he cried out and eventually collapsed from the heat, smoke, and loss of blood.
Fire stumbled and gave a cry as she fell rolling down a set of stairs to come resting on the platform at the top of the next set of stairs that lead down to the ground floor. She groaned, her hair messy and splatters of blood on her from getting her blade back as her bloody blade she slipped back into its holster she struggled to get up and steady herself.
Turning her head she saw the fire was starting to spread and setting off the alarms for people to evacuate.
Hearing this if no one approached to stop him Silver would move to make his way out of the made arena and down the stairs, aiming to go find Fire and get out. If he were stopped by guards upon hearing the alarm he would jerk and use his teleportation to get himself free if he could, to disappear and reappear on the stairs upon which he would make his way out to hopefully find Fire before any soldiers did.
Fire on the stairs as she held onto the railing for support chuckled softly to herself. "At least he dies like he did my parents." She whispered hoarsely to herself as she tried to make her way down and get out with the alarms blazing and soon the sprinklers would kick on, soaking anything and anyone in water to slow and start putting out the flames.
If any guards showed to stop her she would narrow her eyes and try to breath out ice, to freeze them or make them slow so she could try and get past to escape but she was trying not to let her body fall from the searing burns that were starting to blister and the stinging pain in her back that was caked by the blood slipping out of the four claw marks. Not deep like a wild animal but deep enough they would take a few days to heal of her staying put.
During this Lord Wolf, Lord Raven and Lady Snake shot up, all ordering their solders to spread out and check out the source of the chaos. "I was having a wonderful evening." Lady Snake hissed in anger as she moved to see where Lord Dragon, not having recognized or heard the man cry as he was killed or had she heard the young woman Fire scream either.

"Hmm?" he lifted his eyes when Ritzu mentioned the Hunter, "Ah, no, I was just thinking aloud...heh, nevermind." he made a mental note not to voice his mutterings so he could save any future confusion for himself, but with regards to Cyrus, he might just know the right people to be able to tempt their target out into an accessible area where she could be detained... "If I were capable of capturing her, how would you propose we interrogate?" he'd noticed she'd fallen silent but chose to ignore her additional comment about the one who causes his 'stress' as with the distractions, he'd almost forgotten about the boy until then... Not wanting to start lingering on those particular thoughts he decided a change of subject was needed and so that's exactly what he did. "Y'know, the trick is to eat when nobody is looking," Creed winked in her direction, "Maintain your sustenance whilst giving the impression you don't touch a crumb. It also works in other wonderful ways, like drinking tomato juice around your comrades, but feasting on proper meals in secret... He chuckled at the thought of soldiers believing he was a vampire because the only time they saw him eat was when he took that blood-red smoothie in the evenings just before nightfall... But then again, I find my job keeps me a little too focused sometimes..." he chuckled at this and made a move for the assortment Ritzu had brought back, helping himself, but leaving some so not to look like a pig - also just incase his comrade hadn't eaten anything herself... ~*~*~ "A trick?!" The Tigress hissed, initially taking offense at Silver's comment before noting the compliment and then pausing to ponder over his words for a moment, "Yes...Yes, I guess it is." she started to sit down, "Perhaps you were too much for him...he is still young after all...and you have such a unique fighting technique." She'd watched him like a hawk and was more than a little fascinated by how he'd moved with such speed and agility during the fight... "...what the hell?" It was sobering to have someone run at you as though they were going to hit you full pelt, but it didn't take the Hunter long to realise the youth wasn't coming back... Certain something had changed in the masked youth's mind, Cyrus backed through the crowd, his eyes scanning the area for anything out of the ordinary...if his suspicions were correct, there was a chance the male might just have taken cover nearby... "How dare you..." She turned towards Lady Snake, "None of my pets have ever run away to kill themselves." Tigress snarled towards the Serpentress, whispering harshly as the crowd started to disperse, "And I see no need for seducing my pets when they are trained to do as I command. He must have realised he was no match for his opponent and ended the fight of his own accord." She lifted her head at the sound of alarms and the fall of water as the sprinklers sparked into life. Part of her hoped the boy had realised his opponent was too strong and had chosen to escape and hide, but there was an underlying suspicion his 'training' hadn't worked and it had all been an act...Which meant that when he was recaptured, he was in for a world of hurt... As the crowd started to head for the exits, Cyrus decided it was best to hang back and see if the youth made a reappearance...he watched as the guards began to spread out, some ushering the Owls away down separate corridors and pushing aside anyone who got in their way - Clearly their safety was imperative, but he also started to notice several individuals that had chosen to stay put... These people, similar to the guards held their positions, but were no doubt scrutinising the fleeing guests. He narrowed his eyes at them, but as they made no attempt to apprehend anyone, he chose to turn his attention elsewhere. It was starting to look as though the youth had fled but as Cyrus started to make his way past the tables and towards the exit, a small, black muzzle peered out from beneath one of the tablecloths, sniffing the air before emerging a little further. "C'mere." Leaning down, the Hunter scooped the small fox into his arms, enclosing it within his jacket before following the crowd out of the doors. The creature squirmed in his grip, clamping down on his gloved hand, but the Hunter winced through the pain and wove his way away from the crowds and towards the quieter parts of the grounds before casting the creature to the ground. "You should be grateful I bothered to pick you up!" he scowled as the little fox landed, rolling before standing up and shaking itself from head to toe. "I could have left you there to burn!"The fox turned its head towards the Hunter, stiffening its tail and letting out a snarl before twisting round as though to run. Cyrus had more than sobered up by now and lunged for the creature, catching it by its hind leg before gripping it by the scruff of the neck with his free hand. The fox gave a yowl of disgust and attempted to struggle before suddenly becoming heavier... Cyrus was forced to drop the creature as it started to grow in size, he watched as it landed on the ground before turning round to face him as its form became complete. The snarling wolf, with pitch black coat and hackles raised now bore its fangs and made a mock lunge, forcing the Hunter to back up. "I don't know what they did to you, but this needs to stop right now." Trying to speak with a calm voice, Cyrus held up his hands to show he was unarmed, "It's not safe here, there are guards everywhere and our window to escape is closing fast.""Then take it and leave." the voice was not quite the boy's, but it came from the wolf and Cyrus narrowed his eyes, "Not without you." He took a step forward and the wolf flattened its ears back against its skull, bowing down on its front paws as though it prepared to lunge, "Now come on." He made a grab for the beast, but it gave a snarl and bolted between his legs, knocking him down as it darted towards the station. "...Not in the mood for this." Getting to his feet, Cyrus gave pursuit.

Ritzu was quiet as she didn't know how to suggest that. "Well...perhaps harm her or befriend her, whichever would make her answer questions about herself and if she has magic how she came to have it?" she felt at a small loss for knowing what to do if they did capture Fire. She thought more before shaking her head. "Just do as you see fit to find out about her, I can't think up all the details for you."
Looking over to him she blinked then a smile broke onto her face some as she listened and nodded, deciding to put down the information and stood before making her way over and got herself some food as well of what was left. "That's quite the interesting fact. And for your being too focused is exactly why it shocks me you keep living this long." She lightly laughed at this and took a bite of her food as she returned to her seat, sitting down.
"Do you think your friend can find her or do you think your Shader friend will know more of where she's at? If your Hunter friend has links to the guards then maybe he can find out from others about what the deceased was doing or had done before their death." She leaned her head back looking up at the ceiling. "Be glad I am keeping my lips sealed about your Shader but if she is also a Shader then it's common for groups to know who is apart of them, right?" she asked before taking a bite of her food again.
Silver made his way with the crowd then used his teleporting again as people were leaving and the Owls were escorted out to safety. Silver made his way to the one exit and bit his cheek upon seeing Fire slip out of the front door, refusing to speak to a guard that began to question her. Making his way over he took her into his arms so her body rested against his. "I'm terribly sorry but she's not spoken in years due to the trauma of the event." He lied smoothly with a regretful expression on his face.
"That event was hard on a lot of people." The guard answered and looked to her again as she was closing her eyes resting against Silver. "Did she come with you as your escort?"
"Yes but during the events of the dancing she began to dance with others so I lost track of her. What do you think happened?" Silver questioned curiously.
"We will know more later. For now please exit the building as we contain any smoldering embers and investigate what happened. We will have the transports come to pick everyone up once we've made sure there's none that need to stay."
Silver nodding his thanks. "You are a good man." He picked Fire up carefully bridal style making her wince and hiss through her tightly gritted teeth. "Do you think perhaps we could leave and return home? She is injured and she only trusts one doctor without going into a panic attack." He asked and explained with a somber expression sounding worried as he looked down to Fire.
The guard looked to the young woman who was sweating and sighed after a bit and nodded. "Alright, you may go. I'll have a private transport take you and others who have gained clearance back to the cities you came from. Where are you from?"
"The city of Lord Dragon, kind guard." Silver said bowing his head gently. The guard went and spoke to another and told him to get a train around, one for each city and start screening people as others investigated where the fire came from. That guard nodded going over and getting one transport over and ready.
"Okay! Those who came from Delta, please file over here so we may screen you. Those who have been screened please advance now onto the train as the screening process commences. We don't want people going with injuries or anything from the building unless a valid reason is given and approved." People muttered about this as Silver got onto the train with Fire, finding a seat and sat towards the end sighing.
Inside the guards found the room and were shocked, entering carefully to see the room destroyed they continued and was more in awe and disbelief when seeing the chard body. "We got a body." One said into a small radio.
"Well who is it if you can tell?" another asked.
"It's....it's Lord Dragon. He's dead."
"WHAT?!" the one exclaimed in a shout, his face paling which drew Lady Snake to look over and pause before her private transport.
"What has this man so pale and shaking? And why does he shout in our presents?" she asked in her upper crust tone.
"Uh....it's um nothing Lady Snake." The guard said nervously as he bowed deeply at the waist to her as she narrowed her eyes not sure if to believe him or not.
"Inform us all about any findings. Also have Lord Dragon contact us. It is not like him to be missing when something goes wrong." Snake snipped and moved into her private car with her escort entering after her.
Lord Raven neared Lady Tigress looking at the evacuated people. "What do you think happened and have you seen Lord Dragon yet?" he asked as the woman with him nuzzled, holding onto his arm and had cowered a little when looking at Tigress. "Have you seen that masked woman he was with earlier?" he asked curiously.
Inside the building the guards continued to search and investigate, trying to find the source of death and start of the fire. They were coming to the conclusion it was arson but didn't know who else was responsible. It did begin to spread through the guards about the identity of the body being Lord Dragon and about a stab wound to his back and burns to his face. What baffled them was indication of moisture also in the room since fire wasn't wet, starting to add that into thanks to the sprinklers.
On the train Silver sighed, looking down at her. If I could I'd just teleport us back to the city but I'd exhaust myself doing it and I don't want Creed learning about you. Who knows what would happen then. he released a soft breath closing his eyes and leaned his head back hoping they would depart soon, the end of the train unguarded and the door cracked.
I hope you live and since no one has arrested us yet I take it you've succeeded. Now we just get to see what happens next. Silver thought concerned as he wasn't sure what would happen to Delta now if Dragon was truly dead. He wasn't sure if he or someone else could declare themselves the new head of the city before another Owl could take the city into their territory or not.
Glancing out a window he blinked noticing what looked like a large black dog running and a masked man chasing it. Well that's different...but after tonight I shouldn't be shocked. Hope they don't miss their train home. he thought and leaned his head back again, feeling some blood seeping still and starting to soak into his jacket and lap from Fire's back.

I'm sure I'll find a way. Creed nodded, his eyes flicking from the food in his hand to the blinking icon on the screen beside him. "And I guess you learn to find a medium when it comes to work and eating." he smirked, then exhaled a sigh as the light proceeded to distract... "What's that?" leaning over, he clicked on the offending icon and watched as a window opened with the title 'Breaking News' The man stiffened at this, a piece of filling dropping onto the table in his absentmindedness before he grumbled and cleared it away... ~*~*~ "I've not seen him for a while now..." The Tigress frowned, "Not since he was prowling for pretty girls to dance with." her eyes scanned the crowd for her pet, in truth, she'd been more interested in the fight than Dragon's activities, but now even she was concerned for their comrade, "Do you think she had something to do with whatever happened?" she'd presumed the incident was linked, but knew not to assume anything until the evidence had been gathered... ~*~*~ The guards weren't impressed when Cyrus broke past the search line in pursuit of the beast. The trains were already filling but the creature seemed set on weaving between the masses in the hopes of evading its capture... "Wait! You cannot go that way Sir!" One of the guards watched as the beast darted past him, then stepped into the way as Cyrus advanced at speed, hoping to barrel past. "They're only allowing those that have been screened to board the trains at this time...!""How dare you! Do you know who I am?" the Hunter scowled at the guard through his mask before moving to push by, "Do you want me to tell Lord Wolf you allowed one of his beasts to escape?!" The guard swallowed, fearing the wrath of the Owls he bowed his head and stepped aside, "Don't just stand there!" Marshall gave the man a shove, "Gather a squad and give me a damn hand!" the Hunter shouldered his way past and paused for a second to locate his target before resuming pursuit. *He just doesn't give up!* grateful that the guard had given him a few seconds to pull ahead, the wolf cast a glance over its shoulder and gave a snarl as it realised its route was now blocked by a boarding train. Already the radio message between the guards was spreading the word that he needed to be captured and men were starting to turn towards his direction... Growling, he started running parallel to the train, looking for a gap before grinding to a halt and twisting at a right angle to his left as the station master made a lunge for him. "Over Here!" Another shout and the wolf found an ever closing circle of soldiers advancing towards him... *That's it...* Lifting his head, the wolf gave a howl. A rush of air filled the station, blustering clothing and flickering the lights as two pairs of shadowbeasts emerged from portals in the ground to fight by his side. One pair went left, lunging for the guards, the other pair went right, leaving just the Hunter and two men at his flank. "Don't do this!" Cyrus ground to a halt as the beasts appeared, his eyes glanced across the crowd who didn't know whether to panic and rush for the train, or stay and watch... Most were already on the vehicle and even more were ushered inside fearing the assault would extend towards them, but they weren't his main focus. "You don't need to fight!""Call off your Hunt! Or I'll make you regret it!" in wolf form, his lips didn't move, but somehow Cyrus heard every word and narrowed his eyes, "Enough of this!" Hearing nothing but snarls, one of the guards made a lunge for the beast, landing a glancing blow before retreating to his place beside the hunter, his comrade followed suit just seconds later, dealing a second hit before flanking Cyrus who checked what little he had in the form of weapons and prepared to lunge. The wind started to pick up and as the last of the observers boarded the train, shadows lurched forward from every crevice, pooling at the wolf's feet before drawing upwards. His form bubbled and pulsed for a moment or two, then the shadows exploded out in all directions, injuring one of the guards in the process. Unshielding his face, Cyrus looked across at the creature - it was similar to the wolf before, only its tail was much longer and it had grown in size... "...What have they done to you?" The Hunter looked saddened for his young comrade, but knew the time was serious. Reaching down, he claimed a blade from the fallen soldier and ushered the second away, "Seal off the area, let nobody pass." he turned his full attention towards the beast, making a motion with the blade before starting a charge. "Not this again." The wolf sneered, having seen the Hunter's attack beforehand in the arena, he braced himself, tail held high before seemingly disappearing from view as Cyrus rushed towards him. Recalling how the original fight had played out, the Hunter twisted round, spinning his sword as he did so and glancing its blade across the flank of his opponent as the wolf reappeared behind him. The force of a back leg hit him square in the chest, but Cyrus pushed away, turning to face his enemy as they both landed in the centre of the empty train station. "We don't need to do this!" he watched as the wound on the creature's side dropped specks of black onto the floor, "I don't want to hurt you!"*Pity.* the wolf snarled, *Because I want to rip your throat out!* it lunged forward, darting to the right and whipping the man with its long tail before twisting round and standing on its hind legs to strike out with its massive paws, Cyrus braced himself against the strike, holding his crossed arms above his head to shield from the battering paws before pushing back and driving the blade into the gut of the beast... He was shocked as the shadows seemed to envelope the sword, crawling up his hand and claiming his sleeve before he could pull back. The darkness gave a hiss and dissipated as he pulled away but he was given little time to ponder as he was then forced to drop and roll to the side to avoid the beast's massive jaws which threatened to take his head... "Over here!" a shout turned the gaze of the creature and it spun round, large tail brushing just inches over the Hunter's face as he moved to rise; A second squad of soldiers had appeared, clearly ordered by the first to assist. They ran in with little concern for their own lives and took their place, urging the creature forward and away from the Hunter. Although not impressed by the intrusion, it bought him some time and Cyrus rose to his feet, watching as the soldiers attacked from all angles, chipping away at the creature's health before retreating as it took down two men and then turned towards the third, chasing him down. The sight was bloody, but as the beast snapped round to face those that had pursued the assault, they struck through with a barrage of gunfire. A large plume of dust hid the creature from view, but the silence after the storm was only temporary and Cyrus had to pray to his own gods as a monstrosity of pure blackness rose high above the haze. The soldiers hadn't expected the wolf to survive the onslaught, so when a dragon arose from the smoke, they practically bottled it and turned to flee. Huge wings sent the cloud - along with the soldiers - away to the winds, casting them across the vacant station before quaking the ground as it landed its forepaws on the stones before moving to pursue its prey. "...I didn't want to do this." behind his mask, Cyrus exhaled a sigh, casting off his jacket before making a motion with his hands. "HEY!" The head of the dragon snapped round, white fangs now visible as it turned to face him. Any normal man caught in the fray would have turned as white as a sheet at this point, but the Hunter held firm, watching as the beast started towards him, maw wide and ready to rip him apart... As the Dragon drew within striking distance, Cyrus unfurled his arms, drawing from nowhere a sword that shone like the sun. His aura was radiant and he lifted his blade, twisting before thrusting the weapon into the throat of the beast as its jaws started to close around him. The shadows enveloped the Hunter, pulsing like fire before collapsing in on itself as though to smother the light...there was a breath of silence then, like an explosion, the shadows were expelled outward along with a rush of air that blew all but the pair from the clearing... Like a bolt of lightning rushing skyward, the clouds above swallowed the light before fading away. The station was now lit purely by the moon, the armour that had appeared upon the Hunter's body - giving him the appearance of a white knight - also dissipated, leaving Cyrus looking like he had before the fight... He withdrew the blade from the youth's shoulder, catching the masked male as he fell forward and holding him close. It was only when he was within his arms that the Hunter could see the extent of the youth's injuries - and he was angry. Scooping the male up into his arms, he started to walk towards the station exit. It was as he approached the gates that his eyes narrowed as a small cluster of soldiers advanced, their leader blocking his way. "You found the Tigress's pet! We must return him to her custody immediately! She has been very worried!" the man held an arm to stop the Hunter's advance, but Cyrus pushed his way past. "He is nobody's pet." The Hunter paused, locking eyes with the soldier for a fleeting moment before moving on, "Tell your superior he is dead. I am taking him for burial."The soldier glanced down at the youth's bleeding shoulder, his unmoving body in the Hunter's arms...there was no breath on the chill wind, but with his face hidden by the mask, the soldier wouldn't have been able to tell either way... "Then you have killed something that belongs to her...and shall be placed under arrest for your crime!" the man reached for Cyrus's shoulder, but met the Hunters cold glare and recoiled, "He is dead." Cyrus reiterated once again, "You will pass on the word and leave it at that. Understood?" The soldier nodded, stepping aside to allow the Hunter to take his leave. Outside, Marshall waved down a farmhand in an old truck wagon - the man had decided to hold back so not to anger the crowds by the slow pace of his vehicle and was more than obliging to give the Hunter a lift when asked. "Where to?" leaning out of the window he glanced back as Cyrus climbed into the back and set the masked youth down against some sacking, "As far away as possible." Cyrus mused, slapping the side of the vehicle once he was seated. The truck wagon started into life and chuttered at a reasonable pace towards the main gates. It was clear that many people had been curious as to the events inside the Palace - especially the bright light - and large crowds had gathered eager to look past the tape, but the guards kept to their orders and focused on getting the injured party goers out of any further danger. Covered by a tarpaulin to hide them both from view, Cyrus held the masked youth close until he was sure they'd left the city before he drew the cover away, watching as the citadel disappeared behind the hills...

Ritzu ate and looked over as he brought up the story and stood, steeping closer to lean on the back of the chair. She read and her eyes widened in shock and her face fell. "No way...this can't be real, is it? How?" she had never heard of anyone doing such a feat.
*BREAKING NEWS!* flashed on the screen before a reporter came on screen and reading with a shaking voice. "Lord Dragon was found dead tonight just minutes ago by the military at the newly built dome for an evening of dancing and enjoyment. It is said he was stabbed and burned to death in one of the bedrooms. There is no indication yet at who the culprit is at this time. We will keep you all posted when there is an update. Due to the damage of the fire any citizens who stayed home are advised to stat in unless you are meeting family or friends at the stations. There were some injuries reported, mostly minor with only one reported serious injury. No names have been released for the injured."
Ritzu shook her head still in shock and swallowed. "Do you think its our mystery Shader?" she asked softly with a curious tone although nervous if it was at just how strong the young woman was. She was so trance by this reading the repeating ticket tape again as images from above showed the area that had been set on fire.
"Or do you think it was your Shader friend?" she frowned. "If it was him then he will be more wanted than before, this time for murder." She knew it only listed a gun for what Silver was skilled with but at the same time she wouldn't put past a rebel to use another means if needed. She was quiet then spoke more after a short time. "If it was her then where will she run or if it was your friend where will he run to? Back to Delta you think?" Ritzu questioned quietly, planning to offer him a vehicle if he so desired one to return to Delta now formally ruled by Lord Dragon and had no ruler as far as anyone knew.
If Creed were to ask for or request a means to get back to Lord Dragons city then she would give him a pair of keys to one of her cars that had room for four people and was a two door. It had good speed and was by no means a cheap brand either. If asked and did then she would offer up her personal car she didn't often use aside from the at times trips if that trip did not mean dealing with a subject. She would also offer him a motorcycle type vehicle if he wanted something aside from the car.
If he would not indicate or ask then she would not bring it up but would mention it in an offer, "if you want to go find out then you are free to use one of my vehicles. I have a car or a modified motorcycle, both are fast if you want to beat the trains." she would remark as she saw at least two trains leaving once they were full and given permission to go.
Lord Raven frowned and nodded. "I do. I saw him leave with a woman wearing an orange dress and neither have I seen yet." He said with concern before looking over as Lord Wolf, feeling board turned on the floating display to see if anything was not coming to them.
Wolf leaned back with his car door open, folding his arms in front of his chest as he listened to reports on the fire and smirked in seeing some people scared. The news had shown up well after Cyrus and Tala had left so there had been no recording of that. It did show one full train leaving. He paid no mind to the ticker tape as he made the screen larger to see if his men were good.
Raven looked over as the soft talk of the reporter caught his ear. He moved and looked at the screen, leaning against the car. "What you got on?" he asked only to get the word 'news' grunted at him. Looking at the ticker tape he read about how restorations were in some areas of the 5 cities then his face fell and began to pale as he read one headline at the bottom.
"No..." Raven whispered softly with his wide eyes and fallen face. "...was it that woman in orange...?" he whispered and hoped to read about a second body but it never said anyone past Lord Dragon was dead and it listed the number of minor and sever injuries, one being listed as sever but no names on the tape and it listed at least six with minor injuries.
"I....think we need to have a meeting...." Lord Raven remarked softly.
This drew Lord Wolf to finally look at the tape and he was not getting it until he saw the reported death and he shot up, "What?! How?! Who?!" he roared in a snarl before falling back down, whacking his head on the ceiling. He sat and held his head wincing then looked out snarling. "Lady Tigress! Lady Snake! Get here now!" he bellowed but if Tigress would have come over before his bellow then he would only call for Snake to join them.
Lady Snake would come out of her car and join them, having a servant open the door so she could slip in through the other side and see what was happening, crossing one leg over the other. "What is it that you bellow for Lord Wolf? You are very rude with no way of being polite nor subtle." She scolded.
He pointed to the news as now they were on weather but the ticker tape soon reported conditions of the land, any type of events coming up, then about Lord Dragon's passing along with the number of injured and that one was sever. Snake frowned at this narrowing her eyes. "So....who do we capture and kill for this clear sign of treason?" she hissed. "What woman do we get to execute in any way we see fit, perhaps even publicly?"
She wasn't even considering the attacker to be male as they knew well Dragons love for women of beauty to share his bed with when he could.
Silver felt the train start to move and sighed as they began to head back to Delta. He looked down at Fire and was glad she was still breathing even though she wasn't opening her eyes and her body was starting to feel chilled to him. Just hold on Fire, we'll get you patched up once we're home. He thought to her, hoping they would have the supplies.
A small pit in his stomach began to grow with worry they didn't have enough but would get more later after they got back and got her intentionally cleaned up and patched up.
He also was hoping against hope she hadn't left any traces of herself there to indicate who did the slaying. He listened to people talk and rumor about what happened and about the fight they saw before boarding after being screened. He paid it little mind as he closed his eyes and held Fire closer to his body.
All he could do now was wait until they reached the city so he could get off and hurry to their hideout and hope she still was fighting for life.
If the train kept on its way then Silver would deport from the transport in the crowd, using it to his advantage to slip his way over to one side to leave the platform. He sighed, biting his lip as he felt her start to tremble. "No you better not. Hold on." he whispered softly with a bit of desperation in his voice as he quickened his steps, at times using small bits of teleporting to get to where he knew was close enough and out of sight.
He was so focused on Fire that if anyone were to had said anything to him he would have ignored them and continued on unless whoever spoke to him somehow interrupted his movement such as grabbing, jerking, or making him bump into them by standing in his way.

"Dead?" Creed himself was stunned at the news, "Well, it could have been anyone." he shrugged, acting as casual as ever following the initial shock, "Silver would never do anything so rash..." A sudden choking on his meal might have caused concern, especially as he reached for a drink to clear the obstruction before slumping down in the chair trying to catch his breath... "Ahem...urgh... Well, whomever it was, they would be looking for cover somewhere...Running for home is always the first option, but if the military are wise to their hideout - which I doubt, then they'd probably start looking for somewhere else..." He started to clear away the rubbish, tossing it towards the bin before turning back, "I'll need to be heading back soon, so if you have something swift and discreet I was wondering if perhaps I could borrow it...?" he thought of the bike, then of how much he might need if he was going in pursuit of the mystery female... "Might borrow a laptop or two as well if you're offering?" he ducked under the desk for some rubbish that had made it to the floor during his struggle for breath - discretely retrieving the small device which he slipped into his pocket before moving the trash to the bin. "Have to admit, the old Security module I have back at home is a little bit past its best years..."~*~*~ Tigress took her time getting from her vehicle, but her unimpressed expression quickly changed to shock as she finally reached Lord Wolf's car and read the headline that passed beneath images of the military police as they fought back reporters itching for an update on the situation... "That fool had it coming..." she grumbled, averting her eyes before holding her tongue and lifting her gaze as Lady Snake mentioned about hunting down the female responsible... ~*~*~ With time to spare now that they were out of imminent danger, Cyrus took a moment to tend to his companion, carefully removing the youth's mask before using a handkerchief to wipe away some of the makeup Filous had used to hide the bruising... His face, his arms, even the area around his shoulders, all were covered with bruises and with each new injury he found, the Hunter's hatred for the Owls increased. Perhaps it was the soft rocking motion of the vehicle they were travelling in, but as the breeze drifted gently across his face, the youth's eyes opened slightly. A shadow was cast across his vision, but as it drew back, his eyes widened at the masked face and he threw his hands upwards, forcing the man to recoil as he rolled away, hitting the back wall of the wagon. "Tala Stop!" The Hunter scowled as his own mask fell away, "Why is it Always a fight with you?!"*Tala?* ...Yes, that was his name... The youth had to steady himself as the truck travelled over stony ground, but he lifted his gaze again, then turned it towards the scenery as they passed it by... "Where...?!" his gaze snapped back towards the Hunter, but his demand fell short as he recognised the man's face in the early morning light... "We're outside the walls," Cyrus remained kneeling, keeping his distance from the male, "We're going home.""...Home." Sitting, his back against the edge of the truck wall Tala looked down at the floor, his thoughts were scattered, but he could remember everything... The fight inside the palace, the alarms and watching as people tried to leave... Large hands scooping him up and covering his vision... Then he saw the station in his mind and his eyes lifted momentarily to regard the suit Cyrus was wearing before dropping again. He'd attacked his own comrade...He'd tried to kill the only person that really gave a damn about him...but Cyrus hadn't just given up and abandoned him to fate, no...he was still there... They sat in silence, the wind ruffling their hair as they dipped down below the hillside, the sound of movement lifted the youth's eyes once again and Tala stiffened as Cyrus appeared to extend a hand towards him, "Don't touch." it was more of a request than a growl, but the Hunter respected his words and placed his arm on the side of the truck instead, turning his gaze towards the view as they climbed the hill once again, "Looks like Aphelia is slowly fighting back," he was beginning to see more patches of green on the landscape, but then again, the area was still within the rule of Delta, so the nearby farms were able to run on whatever they could scrape together from the city... He looked back at his companion, Tala's eyes were once again focused upon the floor of the truck and the Hunter breathed a sigh, They travelled on in silence for some time until the familiar ringing of a cell phone drew the Hunter from his thoughts, "Have you heard the news?" Creed had obtained the keys from Ritzu and was making his way towards the garage when he decided to call and check in on his comrade, "The reporters are saying Lord Dragon has been murdered!"Cyrus was shocked, but hid it well - not that Tala was looking anyway... "How?""They reckon he was stabbed before being burned to death in one of his rooms...they're looking for a female suspect, but we can't be sure until they've found evidence..." he nodded to the man on the door, tipping an imaginary hat as he passed the man by before making a beeline for the bike. "I'm gonna be needing your help at some point, so keep your phone close alright?" "Uh-huh..." shutting off the phone, Cyrus tapped the back window and motioned for the driver to pull over, "Nothing but dead trees and soil here, you sure you wanna get off?" the man watched as Cyrus hopped out the back before helping his younger companion down, "Woke up finally then?" his eyes regarded the youth, but Tala kept his gaze averted, pulling his hood up as he turned away, "Hey bud, it's not much, but take this as thanks for the lift," taking a couple of coins from his pocket, Cyrus pushed them into the man's hand - along with the phone, "Might wanna change the card on that, seem to get prank phone calls a lot nowadays...""Much obliged," the farmhand nodded, taking the items before starting up the truck again, "You two take care of yourselves alright?" Cyrus would wave as the wagon pulled away, then he'd place a hand on Tala's shoulder, earning a hiss which was quietly ignored. "Do you remember the way?" he looked down at his young companion who was already scanning the area for familiar trails before nodding, "Let's go see what's left." The pair made their way down the embankment, disappearing from view into the undergrowth.

Ritzu allowed, giving him what he asked and sighed. "You better take care of them." She warned and waved him off. She then finished eating and her drink before taking the tray to the kitchen once he had left, going to speak to Comrade about him checking out the homeless guy for her and get a sample of blood or something.
Lord Raven sighed softly. "Maybe but now we must decide who takes rule of Delta as well as maintaining rule of their own. We cannot let it fall to whoever did it." He reminded and pointed out.
Lady Snake looked to Raven rolling her eyes. "I could take over Delta. I've been wishing to expand my reach as it is." She chuckled as she held a hand up to make it glow. "Some death to others will surly make the people give up any who dare oppose us."
Lord Wolf shook his head. "Or make them more determined to fight us." He grumbled and snorted trying to control his anger as his escort nuzzled him to try and help, sitting between Snake and Wolf.
Lord Raven nodded looking grimly. "Either way we trend we should waste as little time as possible. Who knows when those in the shadows are going to strike. Or..." he looked to each one ending on Tigress, "are we going to wait and see if the soldiers and investigators can find any clues to who ended Lord Dragon's life?"
Silver got off the train once it would arrive and quickly moved with the crowd. He had no doubt someone was going to find something at some point and he did not want to be caught out with a bloody young woman passed out in his arms. He carefully slipped in and teleported past guards at the station and landed around the corner and sighed, pausing but a moment before moving onward down the sidewalk.
He would teleport a little here and there as he worked to avoid the guards. He took another breath as he tried to remain calm. He looked around as he turned down an alleyway and carefully slipped a piece into his ear, tapping the outer side of it he sighed.
Leaf had gotten up to get a snack when his phone began to vibrate on the table. He looked over, rubbing his eyes and walked to the table, picked up the phone and answered. "Yes?" Leaf asked into his phone tiredly.
"How is our medical supplies?" Silver asked softly as he made his way into the shadows then down a joining alleyway as he was aiming for the third alleyway that linked to the main street.
"We're good, why do you ask and why are you so tired?" Leaf questioned before taking a bite of the roll.
"We ran into some...problems. Fire got herself hurt, worse this time than before. Ready the supplies." Silver warned with worry as he looked down at her and the clamminess of her face worried him. "I will bring her to you then I'm going to go and try to make sure we will not be under threat....if I can." He muttered the last part.
"Right, I'll get her bed ready and I'll get the supplies ready as well." Leaf assured before popping the rest of the roll into his mouth as he hung up and made his way to Fire's room to turn on her light and began to get her bed ready so he could work on her. He set up a bed next to hers so he could get her in it easy and after that readied the medical supplies nearby.
"Just what did you do this time Fire?" Leaf mumbled quietly to himself. Did you actually do what others couldn't? he thought before shaking his head to dismiss it.
Silver above ground pressed the earpiece once more and put it into rest as his body came to a stop at the mouth of the alleyway. He looked both ways carefully before advancing slow then quickly to get across the street and down his target alleyway. He had to get close as he could to the hideout since open wounds to the smell in the sewers would be a bad combination for extended periods.
He tensed as he got across and went down the alley, moving down it with quick steps, starting to feel the strain in moving himself and Fire at the same time. Shaking his head he tried to keep his mind on the goal and continued. He would come to a stop at one of the manhole covers and bent down carefully, resting Fire's body on his one bent knee as his other hand now free reached down and started to pry off the cover.
While doing this he kept his ears opened, listening to vehicles passing that dared to be out on the street after the recommendation that people stay inside unless they had family or friends at the train station. One flaw Silver hadn't taken notice of was the small drips of blood that had come off his bloody shirt, jacket, and lap of his pants.
He got the lid off and slid over to one side and sighed, tapping the earpiece again. "Leaf, come to hole 10 and be ready to catch. I'll need to drop her down to you so I can close up the opening."
"Got it, don't worry be right there." Leaf said and hung up making his way to hole 10.
Silver sighed once more trying to keep his calm but he was worried seeing Fire's lips were parted and her breathing sounded softer. Just a few short minutes longer and you'll get treatment. he thought worried.
Under Silver Leaf looked up and whistled, making him look down. Silver carefully shifted the limp woman and dropped her down to the waiting arms of Leaf after lowering her down into the hole first. Once Leaf had her Silver nodded, "Go get to work on her. I'll be back later. I'll get some extra supplies in case." He saw Leaf nod and he closed up the opening.
Below the ground Leaf quickly darted for the hideout to get to work, astonished at her state, seeing the burn marks, the blood, and shook his head. "You idiot, what the hell did you do?" he scolded her to get no answer back. Once back at the hideout he went into her room and went right to work, closing her curtain and got her undressed before working on her injuries, cleaning and bandaging them.
Silver above the ground had paused to catch more of his breath before standing and deciding where to go to nab some supplies. The best were in the fortress like structure of Lord Dragon but he didn't know how many guards were left behind. Taking one then two then more quickening steps he ran down a side street and began to make his way towards the castle structure. He was saving his teleporting until he could get inside just in case there were guards so he would have a better shot at avoiding them.
He did, however, use his magic to take himself on top of the buildings and continued his advance, wanting a higher view to see if any soldiers were on the ground to figure out best how to get inside. Instead of teleporting across gaps he would pick the best spot, run and jump. He ended up catching himself on a ledge only to pull himself up and wiped his brow relieved to make it up.
Looking he wished he were closer but advanced, not seeing any forms at the main gates he jumped down an escape latter on the side of one building, making sure not to slip. Silver thought things over and was trying to replay the layout of the building in his minds eye to refresh his memory for the medical supplies. He had thought about hitting Creeds place but he didn't want to find out if he grabbed something he shouldn't have just because he thought it was something else that it actually wouldn't probably be.

Creed wasted little time in returning home, parking the bike in the alleyway before hiding it behind the crates so it wouldn't be found so easily. Once he was inside, he set up both laptops and drew the small device from his pocket. It didn't take long to connect to the system and as soon as the data appeared on one screen, Creed began copying it to the other. The result would allow the man to make a hard copy of the information he'd gathered at Ritzu's laboratory. Most of it was just personnel files and information on the latest experiments, but one folder in particular held something of great importance - he'd happened upon it whilst snooping for his own benefit and although he'd been granted access, he couldn't help but have taken a copy for himself anyway. It quickly became clear that someone had actually taken the time to write up all the notes from a certain experiment...putting them into carefully labelled files which left him feeling as though he were a child in a candy store... The rejoicing for his luck soon faded when he soon realised the majority were just that, notes...a handful of scanned drawings, but mostly shorthand, illegible notes... "A fascinating read...but what use is it?! Urgh!" in frustration, he threw a book which had been close to hand across the room before pushing a stack of papers off the opposite side of the table and slumping back in a huff... "All that effort for Nothing!" His darkened eyes stared angrily across the room, his arms folded across his chest as he wondered if it had all been for nought... It took him a few minutes, but eventually he heaved a sigh and sat up, turning back to laptop number one before loading up the photographs of the unknown female, "Maybe if I can capture her, she can help me pass the time..." he started drawing up plans, putting them to file before rising from seat to set them into action. He needed a Hunter and he knew the exact man for the job. ~*~*~ Tigress shrugged, "Either way, we need to discover who was responsible for the attack and string them up for their crime." Although it could have purely been an act of hatred towards Lord Dragon and his many misdeeds, the underlying concern was that if someone was seeking to eliminate the Owls, who would be next? "We can all agree it would not be wise to leave Dragon's throne unguarded...Yet we all have duties in our own citadels, so why not set up a new ruler? We can continue the investigations whilst giving the impression that if one of us were to fall, we could easily refill their position with a strong leader. They don't have to have any power, just the ability to rule and follow Our orders." she emphasised the 'Our' and looked towards the others, a smirk on her face, ~*~*~ Cyrus had been reassured to see that Tala knew exactly where he was going, the familiar twists and turns of routes would lead them to the small portion of cleared land, marked with remnants of sodden carpet where it had once been sheltered by a large cabin... "Let's have a look, eh?" stepping ahead of the youth, Cyrus crouched down infront of the locked basement hatch, finding the key before pulling free the seal and lifting the heavy wooden doorway to reveal the stairs. He turned with a smile towards the youth, but it faded slightly as he realised Tala's gaze was averted... "You coming down?" his words seemed to draw the youth's attention, but Tala made no attempt to advance and instead sat down on the steps where the front door had been. "Suit yourself." Breathing a sigh, Cyrus headed down the stairs. It was reassuring to find a lot of his old gadgets in their places, his desk, the old radio - he turned this on before seeking out the lights which illuminated the room nicely. There were a handful of traps and weapons which had been set aside for when times were rough, he took these up and laid them out on the table to inspect before wrapping them up. "These'll come in handy later on." he mused, lifting his gaze as a shadow caught his eye, "We'll have to think of somewhere to sleep..." he watched as Tala sat down on the top step - still keeping his gaze averted, "But there should be something we can bring down to make do for the time being." he shouldered the pack containing the traps and approached the stairs, "You alright to guard house whilst I lay some snares?" he approached the male, leaning sideways so he could attempt to make eye contact, Tala's silence left him uncertain, but forcing a smile the Hunter chuckled and ruffled the youth's hair before stepping past. It was hard not to look back as he walked away, but as Cyrus disappeared into the undergrowth he had to wonder if the male was going to be okay... Tala wasn't keeping time, but he must have sat there for quite a while after the Hunter had left before he realised he was alone. Casting a glance around the clearing he silently reached out for a blade of grass, tearing it into strips between his fingers before closing his eyes as the breeze drifted through the trees. It was a soft hush, a sound he'd missed...but it felt strange to him... In the distance, he could hear birdsong, the sound of water running along a stream nearby... At the fluttering of wings he opened his eyes and looked skyward as a pair of birds flitted overhead. He sat there a moment longer, breathing in the familiar scents before the warmth of the sun became too much and he reached for the hatch, slipping down into the cool shade before pulling the doorway closed behind him. The sound of music reached his ears as the radio played away to itself somewhere below. Tala descended the steps, the palm of his hand running down the wall as though to steady him before his feet found the ground. He stood there a moment taking in the sight of the dusty room, then he advanced, sliding onto the chair beside the desk. His hands reached out for one of the man's gadgets, twisting the tiny key between his fingers before watching as the automaton started to move. He set it back down on the desk, watching it for a moment before turning away. Looking around the room again, he remembered flickerings of the night they'd taken cover from the soldiers, he could recall faces and some words, but it was as though pieces of the puzzle had been lost or forgotten and it hurt his mind to recall them... Getting to his feet he made his way to the corner where they'd knelt in wait, listening to the men moving around above them... His hands brushed the wall, then he looked up towards the stairs. Was there not a danger they would be found again? Several more minutes passed and he made his way back up towards the hatch, pushing it open before shielding his eyes from the sunlight.

Lord Wolf looked at his escort thinking then to Tigress. "Do you have someone in mind?" he questioned.
Lady Snake scoffed. "We can make anyone we want to obey our orders easily. We are the ones with magic after all." She rolled her eyes then slowly she smirked and leaned over across Wolf, resting her elbow on his leg as she rested her chin into her palm. "Unless you be hinting towards the masked hottie with the manners." She purred.
Lord Wolf groaned sighing. "Women, I swear they are never satisfied with any one man." He grumbled.
"Maybe we would if a man could ever finish something on their own." Snake purred to Wolf with a mischievous look to her eyes as she set her gaze briefly on him before returning her sights to Tigress. "So who do you have in mind, Lady Tigress, is it sir manners with the hot body and quick moves?"
Lord Raven stayed quiet as he listened curiously to what or who would be recommended. "That man was skilled and also polite but he was odd. I've never seen a commoner be that nimble and quick on their feet." He commented quietly.
In Delta, Silver began to make his way towards the castle fortress. He worked out in his mind where to go and how quick or slow to move. He had to make sure he did it right or he would draw eyes onto himself, something he didn't want happening.
He made his way into a side street then to another as he neared closer to the building. His body tensed as he watched and as he got close enough suddenly ducked back, staying quiet.
The metal gates opened and out walked a general and three soldiers. "But General, what makes you so sure?" one soldier asked as they followed at the older man's side.
"Because, why shouldn't I take over in Lord Dragon's place? You've seen the reports. I'm sure I'll be promoted to leader." The General stated confidently.
"But sir, you know they may pick someone else, you know someone from their own citadels?" The second pointed out not as confident and was unsure his boss was listening.
The third, being a female cleared her throat, stepping around and stopped in front of the three men, holding a hand out and had her eyes closed. "They would obviously want someone who can think with the brain that resides above their necks." She had a harsh icy tone.
"Oh what do you know? You are but a stupid female who was only allowed to join as a soldier because of Lord Dragons liking your body." The General pointed out with a roll of his eyes and a scoff like noise from his throat.
The woman glared narrowing her eyes coldly after she opened them, drawing her gun quickly and pressing it against his forehead. This made the other two jump and back up from the pair. "Listen here, General, Lord Dragon was the boss and he may have put you in position of General and I a soldier but there is one thing that is to be done. That is the other Owls are going to need to pick someone to take rule in his departure. Anyone could be picked so long as they are within the proper graces of the Owls then they are in the running for the throne."
The General frowned, glaring back at her and even growled with a scowl. "You are not even near their level of ranks, trust me on that, woman. If it hadn't been for the fact of your body then you would not even be here. You would be possibly off stealing and breaking the law somewhere."
He began to laugh but that ended when she within miliseconds, pulled the hammer back and fired one bullet at point blank range into his head. The man fell silent as he stayed still then fell backwards onto the ground. She blew her gun off and put it away. "Dispose of his body as he's had others done with. I'm going to survey the city for any rats. We need more workers at the station so best you hurry." She hissed coldly and sharply before leaving them be.
The pair nodded, saluting her and drug off their General's body. "Man she's scary." The first said as the second nodded.
"Yea and that's her when you call her a woman and point out a possible fact." The second said also nervously as they took his body to be destroyed.
Silver listened to this, wincing and saw the woman pass by. He gulped making a note he did not want to mess with her. When she was past him he would slip out and quietly make his way forwards, teleporting in past the closing gate. He got inside and continued on, advancing inside the structure and began to make his way, to the best of his memory, to try and locate any traces of medical supplies.
The hard flooring let his careful steps softly echo off the quiet walls. Aside from feeling eyes on him, Silver did his best to keep on the move. He didn't know where those working for the former Dragon were but he could feel the eyes of those wanting their old lives back watching him when they could spy him. He continued making a turn down a hall and headed up a flight of stairs where he would pause at the staircase's top.
Silver sighed and looked around the carpeted halls. Now to decide, left or right... he thought, eventually picking left as he moved, ready to teleport down if he had to in order to check below the castle fortress.
Below the ground Leaf was busy working away on Fire, biting his cheek as he was stitching up the slices on her back, sighing. He was worried about her and feared she was going to be hunted down but quickly shook that from his mind. He couldn't let himself focus on the negative of what might happen if it wasn't evident it would.
"Mmmm Leaf?" the voice made Leaf release a breath.
"What is it Tool? You should be resting." He said quietly although he didn't know exactly the time it was he did know his brother liked to stay up late at times.
"What'cha doing?" Tool questioned tiredly as he approached. His eyes soon once tired opened wide in shock and looked wide awake, his body quickly stepping back away from the table. "Wh-wh-what happened?!" he questioned with a stutter.
Leaf shook his head. "Fire got into a fight. She took out the guy but at the same time he got her pretty good to. Silver brought her back and left to get more supplies in case we would need them."
"Oh..." Tool looked at Fire again then to Leaf. "Do you need me to do anything to help?"
"Just be on the alert for if Silver comes back or if my phone goes off." Leaf answered and Tool gave a nod, ready to be of service to his brother as the young man continued his work on mending Fire's wounds, getting the first one stitched up and prepared to start on the second.

"Hmm...He might be a good idea," Tigress had almost forgotten about the man with the fascinating talent for fighting, "He was a little strange, but then again, he would be much better than a bumbling drunkard..." she recalled the man her Pet had so easily bested, then bit her lip as she realised the boy was still missing... "It would no doubt be an issue finding him...he did disappear amongst the crowd in the panic after all..." she exhaled a sigh, leaning against the side of the vehicle as she wondered what had happened to her pet. ~*~*~ "I had a feeling I would find somebody back here." A shadow blocked out the light making Tala turn to look before stiffening at the sight. "I don't know why I go to so much trouble giving you a phone when you never answer it...Wait a minute! It's You?!" Skylar had to do a double take before he was certain - and even then he couldn't believe the youth was actually standing there right infront of him! In the man's moment of disbelief Tala made a lunge for the hatch, slamming it down as he retreated inside before holding on for dear life as Creed gripped the handle. It shook violently as the man tried to pull it upwards, but Tala's keen eyes spotted a bolt which he pulled across to hold the door in place before retreating down the stairs. "You open this hatch Right Now!" How had this come to be? He'd seen the boy carted away to become a slave for the Owls! There was no coming back from that! Yet there he was! In the flesh! "I demand you let me in this instant!""...Creed?" The sound of commotion had forced Cyrus to quicken his pace and the Hunter stood there now, scratching his head in curiosity as to why the scientist had left the citadel... "What in Aphelia are you doing here? I thought you were with that woman and her Monster?""Cyrus?!" Skylar snapped round, unsure if looking innocent would help his case any, "Damnit Man! What did you do with the phone I gave you?! They don't come cheap y'know!" his attitude then switched to anger and he advanced, waggling his finger at the man before pointing back towards the hatch "And how long have you been hiding Him?!" he glared over the rim of his glasses before retracting the arm to push them back up the bridge of his nose. "We've not even been back a couple of hours and you've already come to visit..." Cyrus tried to act impressed, but underneath his calm composure, he was resisting sending the man across the clearing with one swift blow... "Visit...heh...yes." Creed gave a huff, "I actually came to request your help, seeing as though you never returned to my place after the Gala...How did that go by the way? I heard Someone killed Lord Dragon?" he meant this comment to be sarcastic and biting, but the reaction he gained wasn't the one he'd hoped for, "That's impossible!" Even Cyrus had to admit he was shocked and even a little impressed that someone had pulled off such a feat... "When did this happen?""Well...If you hadn't given my damn phone to a crazy hobo, I might just have been able to tell you!" he folded his arms across his chest and turned away, "If I had wanted to discuss how many varieties of potato there was in the land I would have called my aunt's son in law."Cyrus muttered something beneath his breath at this point, but it turned out Skylar had returned his attention to the hatch and was now crouched beside it, hoping to sweet-talk the youth out of hiding. Tala had made his way to the bottom of the stairs by now and was glancing through the hardware Cyrus had kept hidden - it wasn't that hard to find a weapon if you knew where to look, but at the same time, he was within two minds as to whether or not it would be safer to just wait it out and hope the man gave up on his quest and went home. "What are you going to do now?" clearly the youth was ignoring Skylar's tempting words and so Creed approached from another angle, "Do you honestly think you can just live out here like you did before? They know where you are now and I'm certain they'll come looking." he glared back at the hatch "And even a stupidly reinforced doorway isn't going to stop them from getting to you!" he said this loud enough whilst glancing over his shoulder in the hope the youth would hear... "If Lord Dragon is dead, Delta will be in turmoil." Cyrus knew it would be far too dangerous to venture back into the city so soon after such an incident, but who was to say Creed wasn't right? The soldiers had found them before, they could easily find them again if they were looking... "Listen...I'll make a deal with you." Creed now figured tactics would be worth a go, especially as he needed a favour... "I have a task that needs doing and you're the perfect man for the job, I'll even set you up somewhere in another citadel where you can live out your life as you wish when you're done.""What's the catch?" It was the Hunter's turn to fold his arms across his chest, knowing there was always a subtle addition to his requests... "...I want the boy.""Don't you think he's been through enough?" Cyrus narrowed his eyes, "You of all people should know the lengths the Owls have been known to go to in order to get their slaves to obey their every command...""Which is why...""No.""But Cy! I'm literally on the edge of a major scientific breakthrough! All I need is a few more samples and I'll...!" throwing his arms out to the sides he moved aside as the Hunter started to advance, "I said No." Cyrus stepped past the pleading scientist, placing himself on top of the hatch, his arms still folded across his chest, "Now kindly remove yourself from my land, I have better things to be getting on with than listening to you rant on about how much of a scientific wonder the boy would be if I allowed you to have your way with his already tortured soul.""What?!" Creed scowled, "He looked fine to me!" he watched as the Hunter defiantly sat down, "Cyrus! Please!" he drew forward - practically crossing the space on his knees now, "All I'm asking for is just a few samples!" he'd quite forgotten all about Ritzu's request on locating and trapping the mysterious girl...With his sights on the boy, all his previous plans had been wiped off the board and he was desperate... The Hunter remained silent however, turning his head away as though putting an end to the conversation... "FINE!" the Scientist finally pushed himself to his feet and stepped backwards, "Don't think I'll forget this! All I've done for you! And you deny me the key to my dreams!" fuming, he turned and stormed away. "I'll made sure you regret this decision!" His voice could be heard cursing as he walked from the clearing, then the sound of an engine - that of a motorbike - reached the Hunter's ears, fading away as the scientist moved further away... Cyrus remained seated for a few minutes longer - just in case - then he heaved a sigh. Yes, he probably would regret that decision...but for Tala's sake, it had to be done. Getting to his feet, he knocked twice upon the wooden hatch before stepping back as the sound of the metal latch was dragged across the underside. "The plan was to rest up for a while, but it looks like we're heading off again..." he lifted the hatch as Tala's silhouette appeared a safe distance down the stairs, "You alright with that?""...Is he...Gone?""For now." Casting a glance over his shoulder, Cyrus made his way past, noting the distance the youth put between them before taking a moment to gather a few more supplies before saying goodbye to the place he'd known for many years...
