Disposable Captain Jarethite - Currently having their a** handed to them, what is even the hell...

Howling with triumph as the senshi went down, Jarethite amped up their attack, determined to take this one down before any of their brethren tried to steal their kill. Yet, even before they could deliver a truly devastating blow to the little s**t's legs to keep him down, the senshi leapt up and turned into goddamned Clone Wars Yoda.

The swings of the quarterstaff became confused and sloppy as the senshi continued to leap and jump about like a frog on crack. This shouldn't have been possible. Jarethite knew that they had skills with the staff. Becoming angrier, they swung out, aiming for the senshi's head.

They were aware for less than a second that the blow was off when sharp, hot pain crackled and lanced through their head. Even as they went down, fumbling and stumbling to recover, Jarethite couldn't help the shocked thought that raced through their mind. The senshi had kicked them in the head!

Scrabbling on the ground, the Captain did their best to get back to their feet. They couldn't let a senshi win! Not on their home turf.

Aegir, Super of Silence - Destroying the shizzit out of Jarethite and wanting to deliver smack-downs to Cruch, Buffallowing, and Potato for messing with his fam

His foot connected solidly with Jarethite's fluffy head and he felt a dark thrill at the sound the contact had made, the way their head had snapped to one side...the look of pure pain and astonishment on the Officer's face. Using Jarethite's falling torso, Aegir was able to jump backwards and land safely, out of range of the flailing arms and quarterstaff. The officer was down, movements horribly jerky and unsteady, affected by the vicious attack from Aegir. A concussion, at the least.

Would it be more? Worse, had he dealt a killing blow?

But no, they weren't out for the count, yet, and Thyrmr was being attacked viciously by Crunchbite; he could see his team fighting valiantly. In the Castle. In the thick of a growing blood bath, where he'd brought them. I put them here, in the thick of danger. Me. I've got to help them. Aegir didn't have time to toy around with the captain, there was too much going on. Have to end it quickly...

While Jarethite was struggling to get back onto his feet, the Senshi of Silence called his magic forth and sent the single golden rope around their neck. "Aegir Golden Mute!" One's enough for you, I'll need the others-- The weight of the glowing rope was heavy in his hands and he twisted it, coming in close to kneel on Jarethite's back to pin him while pulling the ropes up and back, not only using the magic to steal the officer's voice and breath for the duration, but to actively choke them into submission.

"You picked the wrong target."

Disposable Captain Jarethite - Dying horribly and wondering what is even the ********. GJ Aegir

The touch of the golden rope around their neck should have produced more panic than it did. As it was, all Jarethite could manage was feebly flailing their arms as they tried to grasp the rope and pull it away. But as the rope tightened, Jarethite found that all they could do was pluck quietly at the rope as darkness began to edge in around their vision.

Within moments, they couldn't even do that much. They were cloudily aware of slumping forward, which only made the rope tighter. But even that sensation was at a remove. And when the cold darkness came crowding in to blot out their vision completely, Jarethite simply sighed internally and well into the dark's welcoming embrace.

Mere seconds later, Captain Jarethite was nothing more than rapidly cooling meat strung up by a pretty gold rope.

Antares, Senshi of Scorpions
((With Chaldene and Ganymede's group))
((Open for interactions))

It was madness. People were fighting everywhere. Negaverse versus order. And everywhere the young senshi looked there were more chaos tainted people swarming from out of nowhere. She itched to jump into the fray and break some heads but she had made a promise, if only to herself, that she would watch Chaldene's back. It was the least she could do for the eternal senshi.

So rather than getting her knuckles bloodied she remained behind Chaldene as he followed the princess and the small group who were trying to make their way to Matalia. The blond personally didn't care where they went as long as they kept moving, remaining still would be begging to get killed. Antares kept her eye on the insanity around them acting as a rear guard. She might not be the strongest magic wise but she could hold her own in a fight and would atleast give the others a warning if they were going to be attacked from behind.

((I'm late to the party, sorry ^.^' Antares is rear guard for now.))

Disposable Lt. Librite

Librite tried to get out of the way of the shield, she really did. But she couldn't back away fast enough, and the shield smacked her square in the side. And it hurt! She crashed to the ground, winded and gasping for air, wondering if her ribs were broken. She'd lost her grip on her bookend and it clattered to the ground beside her. Suddenly it seemed to be the most important thing in the world to grab that, to have something in her hand that she might be able to use.

She reached out for it, but moving hurt and it was just out of easy reach. Wincing, she scooted along the ground, still lying prone, until her outstretched fingers closed on the smooth metal. She wrapped her fingers around it and rested a moment, trying again to catch her breath.

But she had an order. She wasn't dead, so she would be expected to fight. She didn't get up yet, but looked around for the Knight. Where had she gone? Maybe Librite would be lucky enough to be in a position to take her enemy by surprise, like behind the knight or something.

Sailor Subamara, Senshi of Coffee

Subamara backed away quickly as an enemy all but flew at her, landing right in her magic’s sphere of influence – that was not part of the plan! The enemy had her boost! He didn’t look very happy about it, though. She didn’t have any weapons yet, and the others were already engaging. She could feel the panic rising in her, stuttering her breathing.

And then he stopped to give a speech?

She raised her arms against the oncoming attack, only to find herself hit by something light, and showered in a sticky liquid substance, dripping over her fuku. Outrage replaced fear in short order.

“Is this cola?” she demanded, raising her sopping gloves in disgust.

This was not how she’d expected their dangerous and daring assault to begin. Perhaps the risk had been exaggerated. Shaking liquid off her wrists and brushing off her skirt, she stooped to retrieve the empty soda cup and throw it right back at its owner.

“I’m not running from you.

Lt Vegemite (completely disposable)

Energy quota filled early, and things were looking bright for Lieutenant Vegemite as she headed downstairs and back towards the front entrance. Her paperwork was all handed in with the Captain. A little bit of extra training, and then heading home, she thought. The boisterous sounds of the newer recruits practicing echoed through the hallways – at least, that was what it sounded like, until the scene in the Great Hall met her eyes.

There were senshi here, and those knight-guys, and they weren’t even chained up or restrained at all. Big group, too, not some random escapees to be rounded up. And down on the ground, at least one dark-clad body, energy signature fading. That poor b*****d.

The lieutenant summoned her weapon, not waiting for an order.

“Whaddya think you’re bloody doing!” she shrieked at the interlopers. “I will break your bloody fingers!”

She clacked the lid of her jar against its plastic other half as menacingly as she could. Which wasn’t very, given the nature of the weapon. But what she lacked in offensive capability, she firmly intended to make up with offensive language. She was so ready for her promotion.

She was going to fill her jar full of starseeds and present it to her general as a desklamp.

Corrupt Sailor Makemake - still watching atop some stairs

Makemake was still standing at the stairs, leaning on an overlooking banister, one elbow propped up with her chin on her hand. Her doll set on the banister beside her.

"It's a real mess," She said, "Do you think I should go down there?"

Makemake looked to the doll, as if expecting an answer.

The death and maiming on either side did not seem to really effect the young corrupt, as if it were nothing to her 14 year old eyes. In fact, her large teal eyes seemed to look on in boredom...

Sailor Lacrimosa

"Pretty sure war isn't a ball, but hell," she replied. "And I thought the line was, "all's fair in love and war"?"

With the clipboard being used as a weapon, it made it hard to predict the swings coming at her because she couldn't quite see what was coming. The clipboard made an excellent door in that regard. A studious frown marred her face and she did her best to avoid being hit (because ow that first one had hurt! pretty sure she'd also gotten a paper cut to the face) as she tried to put distance between them.

It wasn't working of course, arms up in a defensive position and earning some more paper cuts along the now exposed portions of her arms. Thanks sleeves, for nothing.

She couldn't keep this up, though, not making any head way, so it was time, maybe, to even the playing field. Managing to get enough space between the two of them, Lacrimosa cupped her hands as cherry blossoms petals began to form.

"Sakura Rain!"

And then she blew them in Clipboardite's direction.

Quote:
Cupping her hands, Lacrimosa creates a handful of small, [somei yoshin] pure white, cherry blossoms, then raises them to her lips. Blowing against them, the flowers fly off towards the opponent, fluttering and dividing into a rain of separate petals, slowly tinging pink along the way. The sweet, delicate scent of cherry blossoms accompanies them to their target as they collide in a soft flurry of harmless "snow" and serves as a distraction as well as slowing the foe down. Quick as the petals make contact, they wither away and are gone, the scent with them.

Pros: Impedes the enemy's movement and distracts with a flurry of tiny pink petals swirling around them. The pleasant scent may or may not distract them as sakura blossom fragrance is delicate and highly enjoyable, if one only pays attention to it. The petals are easily flammable and can be prevented by fire from even reaching their target in the first place.
Cons: Lasts only a few seconds, is easily dodged. Can be burned or knocked off. The transition from white flower into pink is a small drain of her own energy, however minute. It depends on the closeness of the enemy on how much the drain is. The darker the pink, only able to reach a light "pepto-bismol" shade leaves her vulnerable for a couple minutes herself as her energy rebuilds from the assault.

Super Sailor Thrymr, Senshi of the Southern Lights

Thrymr felt his foot connect with the Captain's leg, and the impact jolted him, reverberated up and down his entire leg. He staggered a little, off balance and startled, teeth gritted together as he pulled his strength back to himself and tried to focus properly. Both feet back on the ground, Thrymr shifted, a breath stuttering out of him.

And then a hand was in his hair, yanking, and Thrymr's head snapped backwards painfully. He let out a gasp of pain, a half choked sound, and instinctively he reached up, trying to disentangle the fingers that were gripping so tightly.

"You - " he managed to get out, eyes watering. Thrymr shoved back, trying to drive his elbow into the agent's side.

"Let me go!"

Lieutenant Tourmaline - Guarding the Door with Labyrinthite

"What are they doing here, General? How --", Tourmaline's voice was filled with concern. She had been enjoying the tour so far, looking forward to meeting with the boys and now, like her general, she was itching for a fight because someone had decided to crash it.

Concern was replaced with irritation as her fingers clenched into fists, spring green eyes narrowing. General Labyrinthite was terrifying when he had his scythe out. She was damn glad to be on his side.

Princess Ganymede, trying to find her way down to Metallia.

”Jesus Christ, Gev, I have no idea where to go!” Ganymede shouted.

She purposefully ignored the “personal graveyard” bit. She'd rather continue pretending he was completely innocent instead of having to reconcile the fact that he'd probably killed a looooooot of people with the image she'd always had of her best friend.

Go down, he said. Go down. Okay, so they had to find a way down below. That couldn't possibly be too hard. And it made sense that Metallia would be down. What creep a** Chaos thing wouldn't lurk down below? It was just a matter of making their way through all the fighting that was going on around them.

Which seemed to have been incredibly easy so far. Pretty much everyone was leaving them alone.

Excellent.

“Come on,” Ganymede said, motioning to Valhalla, Sessrumnir, Venice, Chaldene, and Antares to follow her, even if she still had no idea where she was going. She'd just have to wing it, apparently.

She was all too aware of the presence of a General Queen or King somewhere, and knew they could appear at any moment, probably sooner rather than later. She assumed it was Laurelite, given that Laurelite was the only one she really knew and seemed to handle... everything. Except that one time Apatite ordered their capture.

Ganymede wasn't really sure which one she'd rather have a chance to take out more.

“s**t, this is ******** ridiculous,” she said. “God, we're lucky we have't attracted any attention yet. I mean, it's not like my aura is hard to miss. Hellooooo, Princess here, making her way down to your evil overlord. Gonna go kick Metallia's metaphorical a**. I shouldn't even be complaining. This is great. So long as Laurelite doesn't show her a**, we're practically home free.”

Disposable Lieutenant Tryptophanite

He'd meant to land a solid hit, but he'd discounted how quickly the other senshi might be! Tryptophanite stumbled backwards, stars spinning in his vision. "********," he gasped, looking from one senshi to the other. Which one was he supposed to go for?

The girl this time, he decided, charging again. Maybe the boy wouldn't interrupt their dance.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh," yelled Tryptophanite, ever a shining beacon of eloquence.

Gevuadan

He noticed that the other officers were off fighting their own battles and when Ganymeade called, he rolled his eyes.

"FINE!" Geez, he was trying to give them an opening, but as it was, no one was directly attacking them. That was good enough for him.

Turning about, he followed after the group.

"Just keep going straight and there will be a hallway leading down. I think the right." He called out, moving behind them to call his orders but also there to restrain anyone who might get in their way.

Reapettite | General of the Negaverse

General Reapettite watched as if in the slow motion of a dream as her lieutenant fell to the ground and her weapon clattered out of reach. The woman sighed. Youth. Oh, how it had been to be so young and inexperienced! It felt like forever ago now, but for a brief moment, Reapettite felt like she could be that naive thing she used to be taking orders and rushing the field of battle. But she was neither young nor naive nor inexperienced any longer. Yet she began to feel the rush all the same.

The general positioned herself in front of the recovering lieutenant's body to give her time to process her wounds.

For the first time, her weapon, the scythe with its wicked curve, began to glow as she activated its power.

She was serious now.

"Carrion," The raven-like youma responded to its master's call. "Tear those ropes to shreds."

General Reapettite centered herself as she prepared to teleport into the fray once her servant landed its assault. No knight would get away with claiming she was afraid of a battle. Knowing how to use your resources was the mark of a true adept of Chaos.
