ƦσƄıɳ ┌ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ His idea about reading psychology textbooks wasn't a bad idea, she just...I don't know, wasn't too interested in reading from a boring old textbook. But what the hell, she might as well give it a shot. "Textbooks, huh? ...Alright then." She nodded to herself slightly and looked up at Tyrese. She opened her mouth as if to say something, but she shut it immediately as she noticed that she seemed to be in his way. She took one step to the side of the aisle, allowing him to go through if he needed.
Now what? This was the longest she's kept a conversation with a stranger really... Robin tapped her chin in thought; how should she keep the convo going without it getting...too awkward? Her brows furrowed a bit until she finally spoke again. "Ah, if you don't like manga, then what kind of book do you like? ...If you don't mind me asking that is." That was an ordinary topic, right? It wasn't too strange of a question, so it should be fine. ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ┘ ■ Who?: Tyrese ■ Where?: Bookworm ■ Money: $ 400.00 ■ Outfit: Robin ■ OOC: It's fine

He paused, seeing that she meant to say something that she was apparently still contemplating on. He tucked on hand in his pocket, letting it stay silent until she put her words together. "Hm, well..." He rubbed the back of his neck slowly and thoughtfully. "Suspense novels, or romance. Sure manga is a great visionary outlet for reading, just like an art piece or a picture, but imagery can still be artfully conveyed through writing. Authors are no good if they can't help their readers envision a story without using pictures; not that I'm saying manga writers can't."He shrugged and lowered his hand from his neck, "I don't think reading is as popular of a hobby as it used to be, so I guess manga is better than noting. Again, not that anything is wrong with manga. Do you draw manga or just read it?" He asked out of curiosity. 『 Estate #: 1504 Lumiere ┋ Funds: $467.75』 『 Temper┋Stress┋Happiness lvls:✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎』 "My words are useless if they don't deconstruct the limitations that keep the creativity in you from flourishing." -TY HavensOut Of Chamomile:

ƦσƄıɳ ┌ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ Suspense and romance novels. From his appearance, Robin wouldn't have been able to guess that he liked those kinds of books. To her, he looked like the type to like action and adventure novels. Like Beowulf or something of that kind. A sudden thought came when he had mentioned romance novels. For a brief moment she narrowed her eyes at him a bit suspiciously. "He doesn't mean like...50 Shades of Grey type romance....does he?" It couldn't be true! But if it was...she wasn't going to judge.
Anyways, she shook that thought right out of her mind. There was no need to brand him as a smut reader just yet. In response to his last question, Robin tilted her head slightly to side and scratched her head. "Erm...I mainly read it. Buuut, I do draw some of the outfits as references sometimes..." No, she wasn't AMAZING at art, but her sketches were fairly decent to her in order to get her cosplay costumes right. Speaking of which...did she just give away her secret? The girl panicked mentally as she tried coming up with a way to cover up her cosplaying tracks.
"I...uh...I do read regular books sometimes. Like classic books! They're kinda hard for me to read, but my friend helps me." Yes, maybe that got him off of her secret! For now on, she'd just have to steer clear from the mangas and outfits and whatnot. There was no way she was letting anyone know about her cosplaying. ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ┘ ■ Who?: Tyrese ■ Where?: Bookworm ■ Money: $ 400.00 ■ Outfit: Robin ■ OOC:

She could think what she wanted about him favoring romance novels, he read them and wrote them. However, Fifty Shades of Grey was elementary written smut he very much had a distaste for. He was annoyed when it became a movie, he just don't understand what people saw in the crud. As for suspense, that was a favorite he picked up from his aunt since the age of seven. And when she hinted at her own hobbies, he wouldn't hide nor condem, he really didn't care. It was apart of his character to be indifferent towards most things, this one just as well. He barely dressed himself most days, more power to anyone who could design their own clothes. Regardless of his neutrality, Robin still back peddled on her words and he nodded. "Things like that aren't bad either, they give some context into life and attitudes of the past." Annnnd with that, he was out of things to say. Therapy and college and media attention still hadn't taught him his to hold a conversation. No wonder he could count his friends on one hand. Well, before yesterday it was a little easier to count them. He made a sour face as he reminded himself of his problems, shaking his head and walking to the end of the isle. "Um...it was nice meeting you, Robin-" He stopped and turned to her again. "So why were you so worried about how I looked earlier? I'm really hoping I don't look that pitiful today." He asked with a light frown.

ƦσƄıɳ ┌ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ Robin was trying to figure out how to word her response. Why was she worried? Hmm. "Honestly, people that show all types of feelings all at once worry me in general." The girl started. She crossed her arms and leaned against the book shelf as she continued. "You all look like you're about to do something that you'll regret - and I guess I'm kinda speaking from experience..." There have been plenty of times where young Robin let her new strange emotions control her actions. She's destroyed people's property, hurt a lot of people, and even hurt herself multiple times. All caused by the fact that she couldn't explain some petty emotions and couldn't vent out all of the bullshit that she went through.
Robin shot Tyrese rather serious look. "I don't have single clue what's going on in your life, but if something's not going right - fix it." At this point, she thought that he might've taken some slight offense in her words, but she didn't care too much. She just wanted to get her point across. "Moping around and looking miserable isn't going to do anything." ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ┘ ■ Who?: Tyrese ■ Where?: Bookworm ■ Money: $ 400.00 ■ Outfit: Robin ■ OOC:

He couldn't deny he was still reeling and he didn't care what he did to escape the eventual crash that was bound to happen, again. But, he wasn't seventeen anymore and didn't run into obvious vices just for a moment of bliss. He just needed...something. That drink at the bar should be enough until he was ready to talk to Lillian about their daughter. Why did people have to meddle in his affairs? To her comment he was indeed offended. It showed when his face went blank for several seconds before he started laughing humorlessly and mockingly. He licked his lips as he averted his gave, nodding before turning on his heel and walking away. No, she didn't know his situation. Why the bloody hell was another someone telling him to be a man? Did they bloody think he didn't know how, or wasn't trying?! If someone would like to take his place and do it right then they were more than f*cking welcome to! ƦσƄıɳ ┌ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ "Great... I did it again..." Robin cursed to herself and sighed heavily. She just never knew when to just shut up and let people deal with their own problems... She knew he'd be offended, but she honestly didn't think he'd storm off. Ugh. Real people are complicated. The girl gave herself a small face palm before she went after Tyrese. When someone was upset, what was the best thing to do? Apologize. Or beg for forgiveness, whichever came first.
[ Enter - Jeni ]
She was about to follow him when she heard the front doors open. Turning to see who it was, Robin's eyes brightened up as a sigh of relief escaped from her.
"Thank god! Jeni!" The artificially made girl ran over to her icy savior, grabbing her hand instantaneously. "Help me!" Jeni looked up with a bit of confusion in her eyes. She was barely able to say something since Robin dragged her along so quickly. Once they finally stopped, Jeni snatched her hand and sighed heavily. "What's wrong?" She saw how Robin pointed to Tyrese and grumbled a bit. "I think I made him mad..." She began twiddling her thumbs, unsure of what to do. She would've asked her icy friend to apologize for her, but then she'd look like a hypocrite. She couldn't just tell a guy to man up but then have her friend say sorry for her! That would be a bad example!
Jeni rolled her eyes and left Robin. "Help yourself. I have work to do." The sorceress had a bit of a cold tone, but her friend needed it if she was ever going to learn how to deal with social situations by herself. "Ugh! ....Oi, Tyrese!" She followed the male to the opposite side of the store and twiddled her thumbs some more. "Don't be mad. I didn't really mean to say it in that kind of way... Sorry." ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ─ ┘ ■ Who?: Tyrese and Jeni ■ Where?: Bookworm ■ Money: $ 400.00 ■ Outfit: Robin ■ OOC:

He felt like an idiot. He grumbled and began flipping through it anyway, glad not to hear or have seen Robin follow him. Fix it. Like he didn't know that! Oh, no, no! Being told that was supposed to make everything crystal clear. Fix it, of course! By George, he hadn't thought of that! Yeah, he could fix five years of being an illegitimate father who broke his ex's heart, some damn roses and a candle light dinner with champagne would wrap all that up just perfectly! He was practically radiating near infuriation, which had become an outlet for his stress rather than his irritation at a girl who said something she had no business saying. Maybe he'd only been looking for a trigger all this time, some excuse to throw a tantrum like a child who couldn't process their own emotions. He couldn't run away from his life and he knew that. He just wanted...he didn't know. Part of him thought he wanted to just sleep for the rest of the day, another part of him just wanted to disappear, and the rest was still looking to explode at the smallest inclination. "Don't worry about it." He grumbled at Robin, stopping to cough into the crook of his arm for a few seconds. He decided not to take this out on the young female. It wasn't her fault, just like it wasn't Finn's fault. He rubbed a hand down his face. Repression leads to aggression. His stupid therapist! His anger succumbed to fustration at his lack of an outlet, and this dwindled down back to tears he found himself blinking back. The book store was a bad idea. "Please just go away." He flipped through the book slowly, making himself pretend she wasn't there.

She walked behind where the cashier usually sits and plopped her head face down into the counter. Her long onyx hair sprawled itself all over the counter surface as she grumbled and murmured to herself. "Ugh... "
Jeni, who was quietly reading a book, patted Robin's head softly with her ice cold hands. "There, there. You've always got next time." she said with a rather monotone voice. She wasn't there when the entire situation took place, but more or less, she assumed it was Robin's no-filter mouth that got her into it. He sighed, rolling his shoulders as he walked to a back corner of the store and sat there. He still had the book, it spun slowly in his hands as he closed his eyes and breathed slowly. He felt so fustrated, and wounded, and tired. Especially tired right now. And yet when he closed his eyes and sat still for long enough, he could feel the world pressing down on him from every side. His heart wrenched painfully and he used his shirt to rub the length of his face again. Between his guilt towards Lillian, his fight with Finn, and his failed responsibility towards Sela, he didnt know where to start. Robin. Had he just pushed someone away again? He always did that without thinking. No, she wasn't anything more than a girl he just met and he had a right to ask her to leave, because she was out of line. But asking her to leave, it made his mind flash back to Finn. Tyrese had moved here to make things better, not put himself into another far corner. And that was what he had done. Even though Finn had upset him, he didn't want it to lead to the isolation of anyone. If he wanted to learn how to work through this with Lillian and start a proper relationship with his daughter, he would be smart to make an example with Finn and work through their conflict first. He got up and put his books away, cycling around the isles and looking through books until he chose one: Emotional Intelligence In Action: Training and Coaching Activities for Leaders and Managers. He suspected it was what Robin was looking for, a book teaching how to increase ones emotional competecy skills through exercises, exercises she could practice without offending anyone. No pictures, but this wasn't an elementary instructional book, unfortunately. He picked it up and took it to the counter where the teen was face-planted onto the counter, sitting it down beside her. "You weren't entirely wrong." He stated simply, patting the book so she knew it was there. He then turned and exited the store, the bell tinkling behind him as he went to find Finn. 『 Estate #: 1504 Lumiere ┋ Funds: $467.75』 『 Temper┋Stress┋Happiness lvls:✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎┋✎✎✎✎✎』 "My words are useless if they don't deconstruct the limitations that keep the creativity in you from flourishing." -TY HavensOut Of Chamomile: it's fine

Entering the bookstore with his hands in his pockets after tossing out his cigarette, the doctor walked passed several groups of people; some which included teenagers, kids, even young college kids that proclaimed themselves to be adults. All annoying on his level, he hated everyone that wasn't him, especially older men. But had a soft spot for young children, considering his past. Walking over to the psychology section, he began to ponder about, forgetting that the girl named Jeni that had come to his door earlier worked here. While searching the shelves, he also took in the individuals all around with his dark eyes; being the intelligent man that he was, he could easily read people and make observations just by a mere glance."Wonder what poor creature is in need of some guidance of the wolf today... " He thought to himself, smiling inwardly at finding a potential client while fighting the sadistic thoughts of them being his victim.

◊ Jɛȵı ɱı Ƞɑɱ ◊ Your Winter-Loving Lady ╔════════ ♦ ═════════════ ♦ ════════════ ♦ ═════════╗ Jeni just silently as Tyrese sat a book besides Robin's head. She was able to get a small peek at the book title before her eyes glimmered with curiosity. "Ah, Good choice on his part." She thought had watched as the male left the bookstore. Once he was gone, the ice sorceress looked down at her companion before tapping her shoulder. "30 bucks for the book." It was a rather cold move to be more concerned about the book price than her friend's feelings, but it wasn't her fault. She didn't get Robin in that mess. With her hand held out, she waited patiently for the money.
A small grumbled escaped from Robin as she reluctantly forked over the $30. "You think he's friends with me now?" She asked as she sat up, grabbed the book, and hopped over the counter. It was a rocky start, but since he picked the book out for her, that was a slight sign of friendship, right? With blank grey eyes, Jeni stared at her friend for a brief moment before responding. "Not a chance. The book's just a way of telling you that you need professional help. Now go home and read it." Robin grumbled even more with a rather childish pout. Sometimes Jeni was just so mean! Either that or she was being sarcastic... With a small huff, the girl grabbed the book and stomped out of Bookworm.
[ Exit - Robin ]
Now that Robin was finally gone, Jeni had a bit of free time for herself. With no customers in the building, she decided to read a couple of books like usual. She moved out from her cashier station and went over to the classics section, picking up a book: Memoirs of a Geisha. She read the book before, but she became quite fond of it, so naturally it became one of her favorites. With book in hand, she also walked past a few aisles, making sure that books were in alphabetical order and placed it a proper way. Eventually Jeni ventured off into the psychology section to find the same blonde man from earlier. I guess he really did read the flyer. "Good Afternoon, Doctor." The young woman said as she tidied up the aisle. ╚════════ ♦ ═════════════ ♦ ════════════ ♦ ═════════╝ ♦ Who?: Doctor ♦ Where?: Bookworm ♦ Money: $400.00 ♦ Outfit: Jeni ♦ OOC:

He then chuckled at her words, as if amused. Despite his rough exterior, his laugh was how many would say witty or even cute if they wanted to go that far. Setting the book back in the shelf, he looked back at Jeni, his smile fading back to a neutral stare."Usually, antisocial individuals or sensitive people line yourself would flee at words stated like mine. Pointed out flaws, simple observations that put you in an uncomfortable position, not many would stick around after being humiliated. Call it what you want.
