Dorian gave a weak smile and nodded slightly, "Yes, so long as you keep that mentality then you'll be better in no time. Just hang in there okay?" He rubbed his cheeks before going back to wiping him down. It felt like hours but after five long minutes the doctor and village healer rushed into the house with an bowl of what he assumed to be medicine. They brought it over and handed it over to Dorian.

"It's done, we're certain this should do the trick, we've had the others distribute to those that are sick and already their temperatures are going down. They'll remain sick for maybe a day or two but the medicine will help their immune systems fight the virus and they will all be as good as new." The doctor reported with a smile as he left along with the village healer who had agreed with him.

Dorian helped Sikari by sitting on the bed and propping the male up to a seated position, letting his hot body lay against his torso. He then slowly tilted his head back and let the medicine pour slowly into his mouth, letting him drink as much as he could. Once it was all consumed he laid Sikari back down. He sighed in relief, "You'll be fine now." He felt horribly exhausted from the amount of worrying and running around. He laid next to Sikari and simply watched the male rest and hoped that his temperature would come down soon.

"Indeed you are...and I'm glad," Dorian replied with a gentle smile as he finally stood up from the chair he had been sitting in for hours just watching the male sleeping, making sure that his chest didn't cease to rise and fall. His body was tense and when he stood he made sure to crack his back and other bones as he climbed onto the bed and plopped there as he was exhausted but maybe not as much as Sikari was still feeling. He simply pulled the male gently to him and let him rest on him. It was cold now as the fire in Sikari's makeshift chimney (i'm guessing he has one) was burning however Dorian's body was still pretty cold since he sat there never moving until now.

With a heavy sigh he knew he could relax now...not permanently as if life would be forever easy but just knowing that Sikari was out of danger now. He was only silent for a moment as he concluded, "I'm pretty certain that one of your villagers had come into contact with the cold virus while you were all imprisoned. No doubt one of the other prisoners or naval men had it and passed it along. It's just good that we quickly found a way to save you all. The bright side is that now your immune system will be able to withstand a cold if you ever come in contact with it again." The only reason he knew that it wasn't any of his crew members that spread it was because they were all dirty men who lived on the sea for years, being exposed to storms and so it was almost impossible for any of them, including himself to get the common cold.

"Alright, as much as I'd love to lay here and stare at your beautiful face I think you still need rest and I should get some sleep too before I die of sleep deprivation which will cause me to hallucinate and i'll jump into a volcano thinking it's a hot spring," He chuckled and leaned down a bit to give Sikari a sweet kin upon his forehead. He then settled down onto the bed more while pulling the blanket on them and at long last fell into a long peaceful sleep.

In the course of the hours of sleep Dorian got he had several odd dreams and a couple dreams that weren't...well too happy. It was odd for him to start to have those nightmares again. It had been so many years since the incident but perhaps deep down he truly hadn't forgiven himself. Before another nightmarish memory could manifest, Dorian began to awaken after feeling the bed move then feeling someone on top of him. Cracking his eyes opened he looked to see Sikari smiling down at him after his lips parted from his own. Not wanting to linger on what he dreamed of he simply smiled in response to the way Sikari had chosen to wake him up, not to mention that he could smell the cooked meat and he guessed that the male on top of him had made breakfast.

Sitting he wrapped his arms around the male, burying his face against his neck as he kissed and nibbled at his neck for a bit before pulling away and looking down at him. "It's good to see you up and about. I'm guessing that you're feeling much better now?" While waiting for his lovers answer he stood up from the bed, however continued to hold Sikari in his arms and upon standing he felt Sikari react quickly by wrapping his legs around his waist.

Dorian chuckled softly as he walked to the table and sat down on the makeshift chair and let Sikari stay seated on his lap. "Looks delicious, seeing as I so kindly took care of you all day yesterday how about you take care of me and feed me?" He winked and now that Sikari was alright he could continue to mess with Sikari and do his usual teasing etc.

A sly smile grew on his face when Sikari mentioned how his hands were so "busy". He rubbed Sikari's thigh with one hand and with the other he ran the tips of his fingers up and down the males side. "Oh, they're busy indeed actually." With a playful wink he bit down on the fruit hovering near his mouth and ate the food Sikari was feeding him. He didn't realize how hungry he was until this moment and so he stayed silent for a bit just to enjoy the food settling down in his stomach. Finally he grinned and looked up and down Sikari's body.

"A swim sounds good, my eyes want to enjoy your bare body." He chuckled as he kissed the males neck again and slowly kissed up to his ear as he softly bit down on his ear lobe before pulling away slightly to whisper, "The only thing I plan on eating later is you..." He smiled but was completely serious as he decided to lean down and leave a nice big hickey on the males neck. He looked at Sikari while adding, "That's what I plan on doing this evening but only after you should me this favorite place of yours."

Sikäri lay curled against Dorian's side, completely exhausted but still brimming with happiness. Their wedding had been a lively one- and judging from the beautiful but very crumpled ceremonial clothing sprawled on the floor, so were the activities afterwards. Closing his eyes he snuggled closer to Dorian, tracing little patterns on the other males chest with one finger idly. "Dorian..." He murmured softly, letting bright emerald eyes flutter open to gaze at the other male through thick lashes "I was...thinking. And well... I mean I don't know how you'd feel about a suggestion like this, or if you would even want to but.... Well, there is a ceremony here, which..... well.... It allows people of the same sex to... " He voiced, trying to think exactly how to word this...would Dorian want the same thing? This was definitely a big decision... and a hard one- especially for someone who valued freedom so much.

"To have children without having to find a woman to bare the child... It's well... our medicine woman is the only one who can do it. It's a sacred thing here- b-but... I umm... I would.... I would really like a child with you" He voiced, finding that his words were getting quiet.... probably due to a certain amount of bashfulness. After all, not many would really think Sikäri as one who would want to have children either, being such a strong willed person and all.

Sikäri smiled up at Dorian, not minding at all that the other had pinned him and simply leaned up to peck him on the lips lightly "That's fine with me" He voiced sweetly, knowing full well that he was simply seducing Dorian further as he let himself relax against the bed again.

|ITS BABY DAY|

Sikäri had kept his word and waited a few months before going to the medicine woman, and she explained the process to Dorian- which probably seemed completely unrealistic to the other male. But now they stood around a flower that had grown extremely large, taking months to grow- and of course Sikäri had been the one to tend to it most of them time- apparently quite excited seeing as the closer the day got, the more lively he became.

Now he stood next to Dorian, holding the other males arm whilst he tried not to fidget. Bright eyes were fixated upon the flower which had slowly started to open up, and he quickly turned his gaze up to Dorian, a bwaming smile on his face, as if to say 'that's our baby in there!'


The moment that flower opened Sikäri's eyes started watering, the cry of a baby breaking the silence in the room.

'It's a boy, Sikäri, Dorian' the medicine woman spoke, picking the baby up and carefully wrapping him up in a clean blanket, before handing the child to Sikäri, who cradled the baby lovingly in his arms. He couldn't really stop the few tears that slid down his cheeks- he was too happy. This was the child of him and the man he loved- and now they had a new member to their family. "He looks a lot like you" He purred, turning his gaze to Dorian, a sweet smile gracing his lips. "I think... Sorrel... would be a good name.... What do you think?" He continued, turning his gaze back to the baby as he moved close to Dorian, offering the child to him.

Big aquamarine eyes stared up at the two of them from the blanket, taking in the world around him as he was offered up to Dorian.

|Eighteen years and some days later|

Sorrel had grown up as a quiet child, shy when he was young but slowly he came out of this shell and then...well, then he became quite the handful. He was adventurous and seemed to always getting into mischief, usually resulting in a unhappy Dorian. Of course he would blink those big aquamarine orbs innocently and...well, who could stay mad at that. But as the years passed he became more and more adventurous and very curious about life outside of the island...life like the stories Dorian told him when he begged for a bed time story as a child. Now he could practically retell the stories perfectly.

Bright eyes stared out over the ocean - the sun hanging over the horizon, warming the males slightly bronzed skin. He didn't tan well, much like Sikari, but his skin still took on some color, probably thanks to Dorians genes. A heavy sigh spilled from his lips as his gaze drifted over to his fathers ship- watching the crew get ready to depart- they were going on a short endeavour to get some supplies for the islanders...and well, all Sorrel wanted to do was go with them. But he'd asked Dorian so many times before if he could go and every time he was greeted with the same answer.

"No.. Not this time" He hissed, slipping from his perch in the tree, landing in the sand below with ease. It was hard to believe, but he was even better at navigating the forest than Sikari. The reason being- that when he was born he was apparently born special, gifted with the ability to understand and communicate with nature. At first it had seemed odd, but the villagers quickly grew used to his odd little quirk. "Thanks for putting up with me" He called back to the tree- which swayed lightly in a breeze, shedding a few leaves that fluttered in his direction as if to say it enjoyed his company. A small smile pulled at his lips, before he turned determined eyes towards the ship. "Sikari's out hunting so Dorian should be in his cabin..." He voiced softly, making his way forwards.

He boarded the ship, the crew greeting him enthusiastically, probably knowing exactly what he was here for. He knocked once on the cabin door, before pulling it open and walking in "Dad! I want to go with you! and before you say no! It's my birthday in two days, i'll be nineteen and I'm tired of being cooped up on this island! I wanna see the world like you do!" He stated in one messy and rather rushed sentence, determination gleaming in his bright eyes- a stubbornness that he had inherited from both Sikari and Dorian making him stand his ground. "er.... Please." He added hastily, biting the inside of his cheek to stop himself from saying anything else.

Sorrel had to stop himself from cringing when the other walked around the desk and leaned against it, looking like he was about to say no- and Sorrel was trying to come up with some kind of way to convince him, though his thoughts were cut off by the words that left Dorians lips. Bright eyes widened as the other continued to speak, totally ignoring the fact that he said not to get too excited- He didn't think Sikari would deny him this. He couldn't help but swat at Dorian's hand gently when he ruffled his hair, though a wide smile was tugging at his lips and just as Dorian turned away Sorrel launched forwards - wrapping his arms around his father tightly for a moment "Thank you thank you!" He voiced quickly, before he took off.

The moment he entered the forest voices pooled his thoughts, but they were intruding or unwelcomed "Where is pitāv?" He voiced out loud- smiling widely when the voices whispered in unison, leading him towards Sikari. He practically pounced on his father when he found him- earning a surprised yelp from Sikari. He was the only one who could sneak up on his father like that- and Sikari didn't know if he was proud, or irritated by this fact.

"What's the rush?" Sikari voiced, turning his gaze towards his practically vibrating son. It didn't take him long to piece it together- and a warm smile broke out on his face "He said yes, didn't he?" He continued- earning a rapid nod from Sorrel as he caught his breath after running straight to his father. "Can I go? please? pleaaaaase" He begged, looking at Sikari with large doe eyes- the same eyes Sikari used on Dorian when he wanted to get his way...and sadly they were just as effective on Sikari.

Sikari reached forwards to tuck a strand of dark hair behind Sorrel's ear, smiling fondly at his son- who had grown taller than him already- and definitely had a broader build like Dorian. "I couldn't deny you this... Though I'm sad you'll be gone for your birthday. Still, we can celebrate when you get back." he continued, examining his son- finding that his baby boy was already turning in to a grown man... It was slightly hard to come to grips with. With a sigh he lead Sorrel back towards the beach. "You already have your things packed no? So all that's left is for me to see the two of you off." He murmured, walking along Sorrels side.

When they reached the ship the two of them proceeded to Dorian's cabins- though not before stopping and grabbing the bag Sorrel had previously packed in hopes of being able to go. Sikari- being who he was, didn't even bother to knock as he walked into the cabin, walking straight over to Dorian and placing a sweet kiss on the other males lips "It seems you'll be taking our Son off the island for a while... Do make sure you take good care of him- he's still my baby boy and I'll be angry if anything happens to him" He stated sweetly, before he kissed Dorian once more and turned to leave- a wicked grin on his lips "I'll see you two, when you get back." He continued, stopping in the doorway and pursing his lips- unable to really resist he looked over his shoulder "Don't keep me waiting too long, okay love?" He added, knowing full well that he was teasing the other but he didn't care.

With that Sikari left the ship, leaving Sorrel in his Fathers care. Sorrel stood in the cabin- clutching his bag tightly "So! He said yes!" He added, just to emphasize the fact that he had indeed gotten both of their approval.
