The young girl led the way up to the half-Teru. "It's Mana... Mana doesn't remember me? Doesn't remember Shion?"

"Hey, ECCHRA, isn't this one of the people travelling with the Controller?" The soldier asked, grabbing her by the arm.

"She isn't here," ECCHRA responded without looking at him. Suddenly, she slumped over on one of the guards. "Connect with me... Connect with me. I will show you."

The soldiers exchanged a glance. "Is she relapsing?"
"She must be initiating contact with the Controller."

The girl regained her sense of self, gazing at Mana pleadingly. "Please... Mana, save me. Please, don't let them take me again."

"This girl! She had no intention of leading us to the Controller!" They pulled the young Reyvateil back forcefully and one of the guards spoke into a communicator. "Need reinforcements. ECCHRA is-"

Before the man could finish his transmission, a bullet from Mana's gun silenced it. "Get the hell away from her. Now! The half-Teru growled in a threatening voice. She launched herself forward at them, blade's end forward. She stabbed one end into the soldier's side, and then at close range with the other one, shot him in the shoulder. They weren't fatal wounds, but at least the soldiers wouldn't prove a problem. She stepped forward and put her arms around the young Reyvateil. "Shion... I thought you were dead..." She hugged her old friend close, thanking the Goddess for her safety.




The young girl leaned against the half-Teru. "Your friend, Hikari. She is singing."

Mana turned back to look at the other Reyvateils. "We gotta go someplace and make sure you're all safe," she said. "Come on, guys!" She started to run, taking both Rinna's hand and Shion's, letting Nel run beside her. "We're going someplace safe!"

Ishira rushed over to Aaron as Hikari unleashed on the enemy. He stood in front to protect as he tossed a droppy soda his way, "Take this," he called back to him as he brandished his staff. Zek... he's definitely... Ishira shook with anger, "Rhaplanca, sing," he choked out the words frantically, "I don't know if this woman really is Gannon's wife, but she's obviously has every intention to kill him. Hikari, can you sing your hymn again? Try to sync it with Rhaplanca's song magic," He was calculating his next move, waiting for Tessia's.







Rhaplanca's hands went over her mouth as she saw the attack tear into her friends. Without hesitation she rushed to Hikari's side, halting beside her as Hikari's song unleashed. Rhaplanca was amazed at the speed. It was comparable to her own. However, Rhaplanca was conditioned for duration.
"On it," she said as she raised an arm to the sky and focused on her target, Tessia, "Hikari, let's do our best to help!" and with that she began charging her song magic, "[I fervently sing to protect those precious to me]" a dual reyvateil song magic emerged from a blue and red light.

Tessia’s eyes narrowed. “Innocent? Innocent people!? If you only knew what those innocent people did to me!” She was screaming by this point. “That pathetic corpse and that deformed freak next to you butchered me in cold blood! I won’t stop until they feel my pain…Kill them! But leave that blonde b***h alive!” She called to the remaining soldiers. By now, they were organized and regrouped. As a unit, they aimed their weapons at the vanguards and fired. As for the Reyvateils… Tessia reached into her pack and retrieved several items and threw them into the air. The siren's canned songs reacted to the singing Reyvateils and shot in their direction.

Rhaplanca felt the surge of power and the song magic flared in response. A swell of pride and giddiness erupted inside Rhaplanca.
"Let's keep it up," she urged. When the siren's canned songs flew at her and Hikari she called out for help, "Ishira, protect us!"





Harmonics erupted, "No need to tell me twice," he said as he smirked and charged his Teru magic in the blade of his naginata, "Galestorm!" he swung his naginata in a wide, heavy sweep sending a powerful cutting wind at the canned siren's songs. They fell to the ground in scraps and tatters, "Let's go!" he called to the other vanguards.


((OOC: I wanna keep posting so bad guys, but I need to be up in less than 4 hours for a 20 hour workday tomorrow. I need to sleep I am sorry. I don't wanna miss this battle though TT^TT ))

Completely ashamed of her fear and weakness, Hikari shakily picked herself up and rejoined Rhaplanca once more, continuing the Hymn. Though this time, with the interruption and Hikari's unease, the Song didn't gain as much momentum as it could have before.

Gannon clenched his teeth, hearing the Reyvateil speak about their home. About something that he and Tessia had done. How could this person know that? That was something that only those two even knew! "Don't worry, Hikari. I won't let a single one of those things touch you. I promise." He growled a bit as he launched another attack at some of the troops, cursing silently to himself. They were wearing armor that protected against ice and electric magic. He could use other elements, but he wasn't nearly as strong with them. Even with Harmonics up, he was at a disadvantage. "Frost Dragon Shot!" the blue flames engulfed several of the troops, but instead of freezing them solid, it died out and only left a ring of ice on the ground around them.

The younger twin wiped the sweat from her brow. She had been flinging arrows left and right and had managed to take down a few of the troops, but more kept pouring in. She gasped when she reached behind her to grab another arrow and realized that she only had a few more left. "Oh, no..." She now would have to conserve her arrows and rely more on her magic. Which wasn't looking to a good outcome if the troops were continuing to pour in. She came up just behind the others and aimed her poison mist magic at some of the small fry. It seemed to work and they fell writhing to the ground. At least less people attacking them. If that was saying much.

Then, the Reyvateil unleashed a huge spell on them, and she gasped, without thinking throwing up her barrier spell and putting as much magical energy as she could into it. "Barrier!" The Reyvateil's magic crashed into the barrier, beginning to crack it.

The barrier held for the most viscous part of the attack, but then finally crumbled and Miko was blown back into a tree. She hit the ground hard, struggling to get up. That much power... it could have killed me!
