Lumine shrieked as she was collected so suddenly, using her free hand to pound at Shen's arm before she realized who it was.
"...J-Jeez! You almost gave me a heart-attack! And now look what you've done--"
She cuddled the young girl, petting her head soothingly.
"You're totally scaring her!"

"its not my intention to frighten anyone....but getting out of here takes precedence over fears"blasting through the air and smashing through almost any obstical he did not stop running until they were all safely out of the territory. back up at the giant waterfall they had leaped down to get there he set them both down and breathe din a sigh of relief "....wh...whats going on?...." the child poked shen as if confused "....why does he have horns?" she trembled unsure as to what to do. after over 80 years he finally got back the only thing that actually meant anything to him

Lumine flopped somewhere on the ground, once again dizzy and slightly nauseous from the swift and sudden travel.
"Uwaaagh.... I wish you wouldn't do that..."
She rolled over on the grass, onto her back to stare at the sky. Her head was still spinning, but at least the clouds looked still.
"So... I guess... Mission accomplished...?" She weakly rose a fist into the air, before letting it fall back beside her.

shen scooped his daughter up crying as he held her. she just looked confused. he set her down gently then scooped up Lumine hugging her tightly whispering into her ear "..I thank you....from the bottom of my heart I owe you more than my life for this..."he set her down and before she objected he kissed her on the forehead then went back to his daughter slowly trying to explain what had happened and what was going on.

Lumine squeaked as she was picked up, flailing her limbs about in the process.
"H-Hey! Stop with the waterworks! You're supposed to be a big strong--" She was promptly set down, and earned a peck on the forehead for her deeds. Lumine folded her arms and put on a pouting face, lightly blushed.
"... Tch, stupid oni..." Out of the corner of her eye she watched Shen and his daughter as they spoke for the first time in eighty years... She couldn't help but feel a warmth in her heart.

it did not take too long to the situation to be explained to the young girl. though she seemed to be having some troubles believing it. "...now....lets go home....and....I owe you some treasure child...."he pointed at Lumine. "but first....food and drink...."Mara was a little nervous about the whole thing but she smiled at the mention of food

Treasure? Lumine had completely forgotten. She looked down at herself, still armed with the extra layer of dragon's armor, over top of the armored dress Shen had woven himself, not to mention the sword he had specially forged for her. Her blush worsened, and she scratched the back of her head nervously.
"Ah... Well, I totally forgot about that. I kinda just wanna go home now, it's been a long day..." She reached to her side, beginning to unhook the straps of the armor. "So, I'll just give this back to you and be on my way, okay? Thanks for the drink, and for replacing my clothes and stuff (that you destroyed...)! Besides, Maemi is probably worried about me being gone so long..."

"Nonsense....keep the armor and when you want it come by and I will forge you a masterpiece weapon fit for a God. just come by when you want to pick it up...you have done so much for me and my daughter...."he picked up his little girl and hugged her turning to look up at his mountain peak "...and dont be afraid to bring someone if you like. I am the best brewer within a thousand miles at least and you are a friend...I will happily share my sake with you and your friends."

"Ah--keep it?!" Lumine looked up, a bright expression on her face. "Okay! Thanks! (Hehe, wait til Maemi sees this~!)"
She re-fastened the strap, patting the breastplate with one hand and smiling. "Thank you, Shen. Ya'know, for an old Oni like you, you did pretty well today! Keep it up and you might become a hero like me someday!" She puffed up her chest with pride, fists on her hips, "And I might take you up on that! Actually, if you have anything special on hand, I'd like to bring some drink back to my friends..."

He chuckled, she was so similar to his long lost love though the obvious difference being that from the look of it this girl would never grow up. "I will start on something wonderful right now...and make sure to come back soon....my daughter will need someone to play with"He smiled happily. "...and who is better than a hero that she can look up to. So until you return....take this with you."he pulled a gourd from his belt and held it out. "...this is a particularly nice sake that my master loved, essentially its sake so good that Gods would go to war over it."

Still only just barely grasping the situation Mara fidgeted and looked up at her. "....yes...please come back soon"She partially hid behind Shen's leg as she looked up at the young woman who saved her.

*John was flying on his broom wondering Gensokyo for anyone and anything he could interact with or find any one in need. Suddenly, he took sight of an Oni and a girl with blue hair. and he thought to have seen another that he may have thought to been a youkai. He slowly drifted downward near the ground and waved to great them. He didn't want to get too close however, to make sure they weren't going to jump him or mistake him for a surprise attacker*

he looked at him with curiosity "um.....the black and white Marisa?.....that sounds like a human name and title.....I have only just returned after about 80 years....so I am not too keen on present events... and dont worry....you are no such bother....I welcome company....I have been subject to my rage for far too long...and I need to let out what is right..."
