The energetic atmosphere of the celebration drew Taima like a moth to a flame, pulling her away from her studies and into the ever-growing throng of creatures from all over Halloween. She glided over the crowd for a few moments, taking in the scene of the middle of town turned into a giant party before landing lightly on the outer edge of the festivities. The general sense of happiness and good cheer was infectious, and Taima found herself smiling for no particular reason, even laughing as the giant pumpkin exploded. She tucked her wings tightly to her back and waded deeper into the crowd, not minding a bit as she was bumped into and bumping into others in turn, as though she could transfer her good mood by way of physical contact.
Eira tried not to focus on the daunting subject. She wasn’t exactly one of your friendly ghosts; she was able to count the number of people she had talked to at school one hand. As she thought of it that way, it was kind of sad… Well whatever, she knew this about herself already. But with the situation at hand, it just seemed easier to focus on one out of the many. “I-I guess your right.” She gave a small laugh, as talking to him did seem to release more of the tension going on in her brain.
The ghoul sat down on the cold stoney wall, to avoid taking up any more space. It was comforting as well, reminding her of a tombstone, which reminded her of her new home. ‘Everything wasn’t terrible.’ She had to keep reminding herself. Her pale legs hung over the wall, barely able to touch the ground. She gave the tiniest hint of a smile, looking down at the skinwalker. “My name is Eira Wen.”
Rosy glance around, seeing all the students celebrate Halloween. She couldn't but smile as she plays with the end of one of her curls. It been an amazing night, her first Halloween, one in which she would never forget. Petting the ghost pygmy vaisel that was resting on her shoulder, her red eyes search among the students for Spinar or Agsil.
She was curious as to how they did, not to mention she wouldn't mind enjoying the rest of the celebration with a friend.

Oh . . . Oh skulls, she'd forgotten. Sensitive ears. >w<;;; The little ghoul hastily bowed in apology to the tan-skinned student, a soft wordless sound escaping her. How did she do in the middle of this raucous partying, Kyrie wondered, with such attuned ears? Poor thing. Though frankly, being musically inclined as she was, the ghost thought it was a marvelous skill to have! Perhaps she could ask her to visit her hovel sometime for musicmaking -
And oh, another one was stumbling towards her! Kyrie's face lit up at the question and in response, the lilting J-pop commercial jingle for Little Dollhouse could be heard - well somewhat above the partying at least. And she grasped at her skirts and swung them around gleefully, clearly proud that someone liked her tastes.
At this point, the Fear overwhelmed her, and the normally exuberant ghoul turned most mellow for a few moments afterwards. Mmmmm, was this was it felt like to sync up at a concert with everyone else? The Fear was just delicious~ *www* She made a contented sound, not noticing she was listing away in the air until she ran into another ghoul.
Being five inches off the ground meant she was rather easy to buffet around, and the ghost gave a small cry as she bounced away, turning with a pout towards -
- oh hello, candy. Hello, purse. It looked so fuuuuuuull.
. . . Perhaps this student needed someone to help her with the burden? *A*

...Welp, screaming aside..."It's nice to meet you, Mayaa! I, ah..." Trailing off, she cocked her head to the side, her tail swishing behind her, "Are you a student at Amity?" She didn't look familiar, but that being said, it wasn't as if the baku could recognize every student at school.
"Xiu?"
The baku suddenly froze, her ears twitching slightly at the familiar voice. Was that...? Turning slowly, she stared at the man blankly for a few seconds before launching herself at him, her arms flying around his neck. With a laugh, he caught her, stumbling back a little at the impact.
"Uncle Hayate!" Xiu beamed up at the man with a large smile, "Are you here for the celebrations? Why didn't you let me know you were coming?" She paused, and then cast an anxious glance around, "Are mother and father...?"
"They came, but don't worry, they're wandering elsewhere." Letting her go, he gave her an affectionate hair ruffle before lifting his brows, turning to regard the crowd that she was with. "I can't stay long, but why don't you finally introduce me to your friends now that I'm here to meet them in person?"
Caught up in her excitement, Xiu barely noticed the strange sensation of the crowd suddenly thickening. Instead, she turned to Mayaa first, gesturing towards the harpy. "This is my new friend, Mayaa! Mayaa, this is my uncle." The older baku offered the ghoul a friendly smile before turning his gaze to the next figure--Shun. Lifting his brows, he didn't even wait for Xiu to do the introductions before holding out his hand.
"Aniki--or rather, Shun--I presume?"

Serafina hadn't even noticed she had shoved into someone when she was trying to get out of her little crowded in corner, and yelped in her own right, jumping back when the cry hit her ears. Ow! Frowning, she reached up to rub at her ear, pulling her purse closer to her in the process.
If only she could get the damn thing closed! Serafina frowned down at it, before looking up to the pretty curly-haired haunt that was standing nearby. Ooh! She certainly knew how to dress herself! Serafina definitely approved of that, and her eyes sparkled happily as she observed her, eyes running up and down her body as she tried to figure out just where she had gotten her hair styled like that.
Oh, she should probably apologize for bumping into her, right?
Respectfully, Serafina nodded to the haunt. "My apologizes! I hope I didn't hurt--" Was she staring at her purse?
Serafina's eyes narrowed as she pulled the purse just that much closer to her chest.
"you," her statement was finished late.

((Dante: Nuk says he knows you're gay for him, puppy. ;3 No need to overcompensate.))
((Yasha: No worries! Posts don't have to be long xD ))
The ghoul sat down, and Nuk went back to his casual lurker mode, reclining a little as he settled back into the shadows, the occasional flicker of someone's pumpkin casting echoes of light across his face, alighting the neutral, almost bored expression on his face. His eyes, however, were flicked to his side where the little ghost was now perched, watching her silently as she situated herself, seeming to calm further as time went on, perhaps as she got used to him. Although their chance encounter was, at this point, a brief one, the skinwalker had gathered that she was a flighty thing, perhaps 'not all there in the head,' as he liked to say. He'd met a few of the horse-things that were like that, troubled by some sort of weird disease which made them paranoid or some nightshade** like that. Personally, he didn't get it, but maybe you had to have been there to have understood or something. Regardless, she seemed harmless enough; the ghoul didn't look about to bite his head off or anything, literally or figuratively.
Turning his head a little to look at her more squarely as she introduced herself, the monster gave an understanding jerk of his head, somewhat resembling a gesture towards himself. "Nukpana. Nice t' meet you," he replied, still watching the ghoul, her tiny little smile encouraging. "You go 't Amity?"

Miyako was so excited. This was her Halloween in Town hall. She was ready to eat all the food in the Fright Fest Buffet, of course she wouldn't, she knew that she had to save food for everyone else. She was just so hungry and all the food looked delishious. Miyako grabbed some silver seeds and stuffed them into her pocket, before skipping off to eat more food.

Rep felt it too. Just an instant, mid laugh where the world slid off kilter, but he wasn't afraid, it was like being picked up off the ground by an old friend, a perfect moment where everything was right. There was someone behind him, but he didn't get a chance to turn to face them as silken black power caressed his thoughts. For just an instant he felt feathers, a warm and affectionate embrace, motherly yet more than a mother had ever been to him.
It took his breath away.
And even as he looked incredulous to Harrison, the connection falling back into place as if it had always been, as if it always would be, he was sure, absolutely sure he saw the ghostly, not ground bound, not human but more, figure of B0nez. In an instant he was gone but the connection in his own mind persisted, instinct told him it was no different for the other man.
five minutes. Look at the mess of you.> It was scolding but affectionate and it made his heart leap, zombie or not.
His eyes blurred and the laughter stuttered, strangled with sheer elation and joy. He hugged Harrison close in a proper embrace, not giving a damn about anything any more. "He's back, he's back, they are back, ******** sorry. It won't happen again. Don't leave me again.>>
They were whole again.

Ah, someone new! She was introducing herself to Xiu when Freya began to toy with Mayaa's hair, sticking her scissor hands at it playfully. She stuck her tongue out at Shun, unhappy with how he just had to finish the song for her. If she had another piece of candy, it would be headed for him again, too.
Just kidding, nothing would be headed for anyone, because Freya's sister had just SOCKED HER IN THE FACE.
"HEL YEH RAMPANT b***h WHY-" She stared at her sister, and her words fell silent, but she still rubbed her poor, reddened cheek. She could feel a change in the air, but not enough to make her focus off of her terrible sister.
She turned, shuddering at the feeling, just in time to be SCARED SHITLESS BY KETTIL BEHIND HER. She screamed and fell back, ready to punch him the same way her sister had punched her, but she pulled back just in time.
"OHHHHHHHHHH GODS OF VALHALLA I HATES YEH ALL." She waved her knives around dramatically.
She nodded at the greeting from Shun. "Shun..." she repeated. "It's really nice to meet you!"
And then a small shriek escaped her lips as Freya ruffled her hair... with those hands She might of whimpered a bit too, but then the valkyrie started flailing, and Mayaa moved a bit closer to Xiu, and turned towards her.
"Likewise, Xiu!"
She flustered at her question.
"A-ah, no, I'm a guest... but I was here for Fright Night!" Ahh, Fright Night. How she missed it.
Another voice made her perk her head up curiously, and it turned out it was someone Xiu was acquainted with. Her... uncle? When introduced, Mayaa did a small courtesy and dipped her head.
"It's nice to meet you!"
She cocked her head to a side curiously when her Uncle addressed the grim reaper. An...iki? She wasn't quite sure what it meant, but it sounded like a term of endearment.
"Errrrr... Um..." Was all Belladonna could manage as she took a hesitant step backwards. The little black and white haunt was adorable, but her music was... Not necessarily off-putting, but something the witch wasn't sure what to do with. Was it a reply? Or just some sort of mood setting thing? Normally the witch would have stuck it out, would have tried to coax both ghouls into conversation... But all these voices from the crowd were making her confused, weren't helping her rather melancholic state. "I like your jacket." The witch offered to the ghoul with the purse, before she backed off into the crowd. Hopefully it wouldn't offend either of the ghouls, for they were both quite cute, but... Well, she felt totally out of place, which was the oddest sensation. So used to feeling at place in social situations, the witch bit down on her lip as she wandered off and hoped this feeling would ebb. It wasn't fair and she hated it. But what else could she do?
Sparrow was somewhat late to the festivities, if only because he had spent the last several hours with Wren working out some things that had desperately needed to be sorted out. He still felt a little uneasy about leaving her, but she had pushed him to go to the festival and so here he was.
By the time he arrived, everything was in full swing, and Sparrow ambled about with his gloved hands tucked into the pockets of his slacks, his long hair pulled back into a small ponytail at the back of his head and tied with a series of peacock colored feathers and bands. He wondered vaguely whether or not Jack was here (probably not) or whether he would run into anyone he knew (most likely, though there were an awful lot of people here...), but he felt rather comfortable merely taking his time with everything.
There was something in the air tonight - something he couldn't quite put into proper words, but Sparrow tried to shrug it off, pulling one hand out and absently pulling a few stray shadows into his palm, idly twisting them around in his fingers and thinking of Wren again.
He tripped over a pair of feet.
"Jack, I'm sorry," Sparrow gasped out, managing (thankfully) to catch himself just before he fell flat on his face, the shadows dropping from his hand as he straightened his waistcoat and smoothed down his shirt, giving the two seated a short distance away a mildly sheepish look. "Clearly I wasn't looking where I was going. My apologies to you both for interrupting."

Kettil sort of swayed back from the flailing of the bladed hands and just smiled peacefully at the ghoul that was cursing the Gods, "No you don't," he chimed happily.
He turned his gaze to everyone else and greeted them vocally this time, "Hey!"
He certainly was lively for a boil that was dressed as a human servant's corpse.
