[Umm we found Boothe's brother, Valik, and healed him.]
Valik and Boothe lay in their beds, watching each other for a moment until Boothe drifted to sleep. Though Valik was restless. Something unfamiliar pumped through his body, giving him a strange, powerful feeling. Somehow he could hear everything that was being said in the study.
Sebastian smiled shyly as Selia brushed away his hair, revealing his watery eyes. He nodded a yes and reached for books and files in the bookshelf in front of the desk. He laid them out and organized them in specific piles. He pointed to the first one. "This one has to do with medical urbs and remedies, which we don't need." then the next one: "This is what we need. It's all about open wounds and what they are from." he paused and scratched the fuzz on his chin. "I don't think my mother has seen anything like this either. Those neko machines are freshly made. My mother wouldn't have been able to see them while she was still alive." he sighed and stared into space for a moment, and pushed back more tears. Then he began looking through page after page, remembering the image of Valik's wound. His mother had neatly sketched and outlined all sorts of images, making for an easier search.

Selia leaned over Sebastian's shoulder as he flipped through the pages. "These are amazing..." Selia whispered into Sebastians ear. She breathed in deepl, trying to memorize the scent that clung to him. Brushing her hair back behnd her ear, Selia took her gloves and overshirt off, leaving her in a plain black tee and her skirt.

Sebastian smiled widely, thinking of his mother. "She was amazing." He thought of his mother's beauty. She looked like a goddess. She had auburn hair that glistened red in the sunlight, and her eyes were a pale green, just like Sebastian's was in the light. Sebastian was grateful to have his mother's eyes. His mother's face was sharp but gorgeous with long eyelashes and light freckles on her face. Realizing Sebastian had just aimlessly looked through pages lost in thought, he went back through them with watery eyes.

Sebastian stopped scrolling through the book, and looked up at Selia. He smiled, looking at her lips, then back up to her eyes. "She was." he said, just above a whisper. Sebastian seemed to stare endlessly into her eyes, as if that's the one thing he lived for.

Selia brushed another peice of hair out of Sebastian's eyes and dropped her hand to the book. She felt the blush rise in her sheeks at his stare, and she leaned in to whisper in his ear. "I promised Boothe you wouldn't break any hearts you know." The smile could be heard in her voice.

Valik's eyes squinted as he listened. This new strange ability to hear so clearly wasn't giving him suspicion at the moment. He was too intrigued by their conversation.
Sebastian smiled playfully. "Who says I'm going to do that?" he caressed her rosy cheeks with his soft palm, and kept it there. Slowly, he leaned in, only to push back when hearing someone at the archway of the study. There stood Valik, leaning against the arch for support. Sebastian gave him a strange look and stood quickly. "What are you doing? You need to lay down." he said in a worried tone. Valik brushed past him and sat next to Selia. Reluctantly, Sebastian went back to his seat. Valik looked down at the scattered papers and books. "Can't sleep." he looked over at a wax candle that sat on the desk. With a flick of his finger, a blueish purple flame came to life on the wick. His eyes flickered in the candle light. Making him all the more mysterious.

Selia blushed scarlet, and stared at the table. "Perfect timing." She muttered under her breath. Looking back at Sebastian, Selia stood up. "Well, hope you find what your looking for. Night." Selia said as she walked out of the room, but not before she grabbed the flame on the candle to extinguish it and smiling with fake innocence to Valik.

Kale picked Marcia up and limped through the forest and into what appeared to be a freshly destroyed town. He bit his lip and set Marcia down, drawing his sword as he did so. "What's wrong?" sniffed the now frightened girl. "Nothing. Everything's fine." Why did he keep saying that? Everything was most definitely NOT fine! They were in the middle of nowhere, were both hurt, had no food, were in no condition to hunt for any, and could be attacked by those crazy monsters any second. Kale stood in the middle of the square, slowly revolving on the spot, ready to fight if needed. Marcia furrowed her brow and stood up, drawing her own, much smaller weapon. The knife's blade glinted in the sunlight as she peered into the windows of the abandoned buildings. "Marcia, get away from there," Kale warned. "But someone's inside this one!" She pointed to one of the windows, then pressed her nose to the glass and tapped on it softly to get the people's attention.

Valik smiled handsomely at Selia. "Good night," he said in his smooth tone. As he looked at her, his green eyes flashed black with red streaks, then back to his bright green. He winked, not noticing the change. Sebastian scowled. Trying to push back his anger, he went back to the books. "Sweet dreams, Selia." he said in a soothing voice.

(your good, dont worry)
Selia was half way up the ladder when she heard the tapping. Opening the curtains, she saw a young girl with her face against her window. "Sebsatian, theres a little girl outside." Selia ran out the door and walked to the side of the shack. "Who are you?"

Sebastian cleared his throat as he stood and jogged to the door. Valik followed with an obvious limp. Sebastian got on one knee to be on the small girl's level. "What happened, darling?" he brushed her hair from her dirty face, searching her small eyes with concern.

Marcia smiled up at them. "Wow, you're the first people I've seen in forever!" she cried, "Except for Kale, anyway." Kale rushed up to them as if on cue, sword raised. "Okay, back up you! Don't try pulling anything tricky on me, because I will use this!" Though his voice was strong, his hands shook slightly and his leg had begun to cramp badly.

Valik chuckled at Kale. "Oh, calm down." he swatted the air. Sebastian backed away from the girl and gave the older boy a strange look. He knew that him and Valik could easily kill him, but knew that Kale was just protecting the girl. "It's okay. You are welcome here. We have medicine and food." with a motion of his hand, he invited them inside.
