Jay sighed and bit his lip "Let me get this straight. Mom is gone and she sent you away to come get me? Didnt she tell you the rules? No one is supposed to go after her."

Zoje growled lowly at him, "She told me to @#$&#xin;g find you, now are you going to @#$&#xin;g do something or just let her get captured like a @#$&#xin;g..." She began to whimper, wishing Zoje was here right now to comfort her.

Jay lay his hand on her shoulder "I know your angry. But dont worry. She always comes back." he siad quietly. She has too. he thought to himself. "I know how you feel. I almost beheaded Ling Ray the first time she sent me away when something dangerous happned and he wouldnt let me go help her."

Eliza shrugged his hand off of her, "We may be related soon, but dont touch me. Im not just worried about her... We were trying to get dad..."

Jay ran his fingers through his hair. "Oh yeah...Im getting a sister. Dont worry. If you were trying to get Ovan back then she probably got captured on purpose. At least, I hope so."

Eliza sighed, smiling as she realized some of Zoje's reasoning. She wanted Eliza to get accustomed to this before the real time came. That had to be it, "Alright... What do we do then?"

Jay shrugged. "I could teach you how to use that dagger that Im not supposed to know you have."

Eliza rolled her eyes, "I guess I dont have a choice..." She muttered out.

Jay smiled "Thats the spirit. And look at it this way. Next time you can remember to drop the necklace before the spell works. trust me, its easy once you practice a few times."

Eliza glared at her, "Are you saying I should dissobey her? No... She is the only person I can trust, she knows whats best for me."

jay smiled "If she knew what was best for everyone who thinks she knows best, she wouldnt have died so many times. You dont have to disobey her. Your jsut tweaking the instructions a bit."

Eliza's eyes rolled again, a little angery at him right now, "Whatever..." She said apatheticly.

Jay stopped and looked around "This is a good spot. Now show what you can do with your toothpick."

Eliza slammed it into the ground, creating a redwood-sized piller of ice under her. She then dug it into the piller, causing it to erupt into a large flurry of ice and hail around them

Jay raised an eyebrow "Kay then, is Ice the only thing you control. Sometimes elementals. like Zoje, can control more than one. she can control Fire and Earth and Ice soemtimes when she really has to. Air doesnt need much controling so much as the right control of words."
