angel_nicholson Uber Shoono "You really like that thing don't you?!" He asks as he sees Jane reach for the metronome. Jane turned it on and set it to a beat, watching it tick back and forth again. "It reminds me of a heartbeat..." he said quietly. "Like I was still in that tube...all alone...It calms me." "See that is how we are different. I get rid of the memories that cause me pain so that I may gt stronger." He turns to face Jane. "In other words I chose to get rid of the first 13 years of my life."

"In other words I chose to get rid of the first 13 years of my life." "Being in the tube...was not painful for me." he said, watching the metronome. "I liked it. I felt safe. The first four or five years of my life...the memories just aren't there. I don't know what happened to them...I can't remember a thing from those days...I just remember being given to that woman because they didn't want to waste the time feeding and looking after me...they told her to make sure I was devoid of all human emotion...but she didn't listen..." He began to stare right through the metronome. "She tried to help me connect with the world...I didn't want to...I was afraid..."

"It wasn't that they threw me away...they were too busy with you and didn't have time for me...They used me to make the brain for you, then they didn't have time for me for a little while..." He closed his eyes. "They use me for a walking data bank. I have no desire to be 'strong'. I only want to be useful to someone...I just want to be more human..." he said, dropping his face into his hands. "I want to be normal..."

Uber Shoono "Stupid... absolutely stupid dream. You are better than a normal human and you want to be one?! If this place knew me at all they would know that I hate people like you!" He yells as he starts to get mad. Jane stood up and glared at him, throwing the metronome across the room, causing it to smash into a dozen pieces. "If I were a normal human I wouldn't have to deal with people taking my memory away! If I were a normal human, I wouldn't have to deal with them ripping apart my brain and constantly replacing my eyes! If I were a normal human I wouldn't have to deal with you yelling at me all the time!" he shouted. "If I were a normal human...I wouldn't...If I were normal...If I were like them...If I...if..." he muttered, falling into another trance.

Don't just sit here and whine! Be a man, stand up and fight for yourself!" Jane simply laid on the ground, his face bleeding. "I have no desire to be strong...I have no desire to fight... I have no desire to defend myself when you're only going to tear me apart limb from limb in the end anyway. I'm never going to get through to you and it takes a real man to know when something isn't worth fighting for anymore." He stayed where he was. "In the end I'm always going to be your chew toy. That's what I was made for and you are so naive and caught up in yourself that you can't even see it."

Uber Shoono "What are you talking about?! I only hit you because you annoyed me! If you want out now then go kill yourself! I have no need for a useless person at my side!" He yells as he picks Jane up and stands him on his own two feet. Jane refused to look him in the eyes. "I also have no desire to die. You always hit me when I annoy you. I'm only useless to you because you can't see what purpose I serve." He pushed him away. "No matter how many times you push me down...I'll stand back up. I don't need to fight." He told him, looking him square in the face as his blood dripped onto the carpet.

"You're just glad I'm the only one who doesn't let you push them around...It gives you something to do..." Jane mumbled under his breath, so quietly that Keita wouldn't have heard him. "What are you doing...?" he asked, raising an arm to wipe away the blood. "I need a new shirt!" He says as he shows the torn off sleeve to his metal arm. "I don't want people knowing about this arm." He says as he turns around and begins sifting through all of the shirts.
