RaeRae Rave Streamjumper Hot damn! As for this job, does it pay decently, or is it work study? "Hot damn" at what? gonk
And it's comparable to work study. I'm just filling in, but NY's minimum wage isn't TOO bad. So whatever. It's money. The beatings, obviously... although the prospect of more of Kin's writing is nothing to scoff at.

By which I mean she slugged me about a dozen times, threw things at me, reprimanded me for using 'recreational drugs', and generally made it clear that she was the one in charge of where things were going. Of course, I couldn't move at the time, as overdosing on the venom had put me into a mildly paralytic state after it had worn off, so she eventually had to throw me out in the street and leave me with a kick to the ribs and one last warning to behave myself.
It was love at first sight."
I'm excited whee
But... since when has beating on someone earned a "hot damn"? Isn't that... like... painful?

Streamjumper Is anyone up for a showing of The Tick either tonight or tomorrow night? Mention times if you're down with it... and feel free to invite people like Skizz and Bart who are genuinely uninvolved. I should be able to.

Er... Je m'appelle RaeRae *bounce* The running gag is that I find any kind of violence amusing, the more horrible, the more hilarious. Such is the nature of the Streamigator. The truth is that over-the-top fictional violence is insanely entertaining to me when used with an eye towards comedy. Kin is rather good at it. Cool beans, Pi. We'll probably be doing it tomorrow night. Are there any particular times that are good for you?

RaeRae Rave Streamjumper RaeRae Rave Having a place in the Scripture makes me feel awesome. cool Is there a new entry on its way? Maybe. I'm the Prophet's first wife. He gave me a sneak peek at how we meet, but I don't know when that comes, so I don't know if that's got any bearing on the NEXT entry. I got to do some beating up 4laugh Well, you DO know that being in the scripture simply means that when the Gator awakes and destroys the Aeem Sea (and everything else), you'll still be devoured, but it'll be special. Mala, Skizz, and I are the only ones truly safe from the Gator... xd

gonk
Short version, I have my next transition piece worked out, which will bring that little mini to an end, and usher in 'Gator02', which will take a different spin on things coming from the Prophet's view rather than the large ancient history view.
So instead of regurgitation, it'll be more like the Devouring chapter. I can probably write that up a couple days from now.
Edit: His 'humor' is also how I lost my arm. gonk

So, I decided to go into Towns for a bit. Shake down some trees, grab some bugs, you know the deal.
So this guy (or girl) starts following me around, and finally they speak. They say "nice avi". I say thanks, but wait for the rest, because EVERY time I'm in Towns and someone comes up to me and compliments my avatar, they always ask me for a donation of some sort.
So, then this person says "can you help me?". So I decide to hear them out and say "Depends on what you want from me."
So, after much dancing around the subject, they tell me they want the Queen chess outfit. I tell them that they can get them in the Marketplace if they don't have Gaia cash. Then they tell me "I have no Gaia cash and no gold".
Ok, so then I tell them they might want to start a quest thread in the charity/quests forum. And then they say "or you could buy them for me"...
gonk
So I tell them that I don't spend my real money on people I don't know. And I leave.
Seriously, what makes people think it's ok to walk up to total strangers and ask them for money? If they had asked for a gold donation for a quest, that's one thing...but to use MY hard earned cash for a stranger for pixel items!?
