Odd gently bounced Libelle on his hip as he responded. 'they wanted to know when and why I joined Snagem and also asked what I remember about the Citadark incident. I wasn't exactly in a sharing mood so all I told them was we put a stop to Ein." He told the gathered group.

"It certainly sounds like they don't lnow as much as they ought to. None of these events are exactly secret knowledge? Except for maybe Aile's temporary exile in Orre?" He admitted. 'Which just makes all this even more concerning what the heck is going on."

"That depends on how fast we could get our system back up. If we can get our system back up. Dammit, we some sort of outside information." Pinching the bridge of her nose, she grumbled and shook her head. "Thank you, though. I'll go asking around. Poggle, let's get you back into your ball." Recalling the arm Nincada, she'd look to Odd real quick as she turned to leave. "Something else that was said in mine is... concerning. And they asked you about Citadark. Got it. Thank you, Odd." She would leave the group then and look around for the others, popping her head into the kitchen first, as she still knew at least Darts and Blizz should have been in there.

"Hey, guys," she'd start, popping her head around the doorframe first before bringing her full body into view. "Random question, do you guys know anything about some scientist named Lovrina? And in general, what were you guys asked about in your interrogations? Anything weird?" Yes, she was probably being blunt and obvious, but she at least wasn't asking about information S.W.I.P.E. didn't already know.

As Reno left, I was once again left to my Coke once again, looking back at Darts for a couple of seconds to see his reaction to Reno’s inquiries before taking another sip of my drink. It wasn’t long before Aile would find her way in to talk to Darts and I. When she started to ask her question, I thought for a moment, thought back as hard as I could at that because for as all I knew this could be relevant as well, then couldn’t help but to shake my head. “I don’t know, maybe? I don’t remember.” I told her, honestly, albeit low so hopefully no one from SWIPE would come in mid conversation and hear any of this. “Wasn’t anything that held any relevance to me. Not that I can think of. At any rate, I got asked about when I ended up joining Snagem and about what happened at Black City for some reason. It was weird to me because I mentioned who lead Snagem just before Sub, which apparently, they had no knowledge on for some reason and everything pertaining to that whole stint with Lysandre and Ein was laid out on the table as far as I knew of shortly after we managed to take Ein out of commission, and yet, apparently something gave them a wild hair to come after me at least about what went on in Black City. I was mentioning to Reno and Darts that the girl in the Expansion Suit that was with Looker apparently didn’t care for me dealing with Malva in particular, and the fact that anyone would wait so long to come after us, let alone me, came off weird as well.”

Bubbles gave a soft noise of relief when Ulla healed her, having received a slight burn that Amber hadn't known about. As she recalled the Greninja after the healing, she could see something going on with Ulla, but before she could ask what was wrong, Keiko, Odd, and their kids walked into the kitchen, and Amber had to give a sigh of relief at seeing them. "Keiko, Odd, how are the two of you doing?" she asked. It had been a while since she'd seen either of them for longer than a few minutes. Aile's answer to her query about Jubilife had her pausing; she'd assumed they'd been called in for that incident. "Were they really so thick they thought they could deal with that on their own?" she asked. "Shadows are dangerous enough without morons trying to muscle in and try to do our jobs for us."

Aile's next few comments were a little worrying, and finding that Odd wasn't cooperative didn't really surprise Amber. The Ghost Channeler didn't seem like someone who would put anyone in danger that he cared about. "You'd think they would already have known how I was hybridized," she said. "I haven't exactly made that a secret, but I don't usually talk about it unless asked, either."

Requiem of Whyspers
Inside the STR, Clare watched as Spectra tried yet again to focus her Acid Spray as Clare was wanting. This time, the spray was a small cloud but it was still far too large to have the precise aim Clare would need of her if they were truly going to try and remove their collar. "That's better!" The hybrid encouraged. "Keep doing that but try and bring it in even tighter. I'll need your aim to be extremely precise for what I have in mind." Clare instructed, leaving the detail of their plan out for now.

Lu didn't dodge this time, letting the attack hit her. It was better than the first two attempts, but if Clare wanted a more precise attack, then more work was needed. Hmm, perhaps getting Spectra to attack a specific object might work. Utilizing an attack of her own, Lu used Rock Tomb, allowing the rocks to fall away from anyone else still in the room. Once that was done, she used Force Palm to chip a small amount of the rocks away. Turning to Spectra, she indicated the rocks. "Try using Acid Spray on these rocks," she said. "I'd like you try and focus the attack in the area I've struck to break one of them" If this worked, it would give Spectra something to focus on that she could actually break, instead of just firing her attacks at Lu.

"I'm okay, just... waiting for all of this to be over, I guess," Keiko shrugged. Everyone on this side seemed to be doing okay while they were waiting for SWIPE to finish their interrogation, though it was certainly starting to sound like SWIPE didn't know what they were looking for. When Amber pointed out that her hybridization wasn't a secret, Keiko felt the need to speak up. "I try not to talk about how I was hybridized," she explained briefly. "It's not a nice story. At all." After she said that, Serena stirred in her arms drawing the mama rabbit's attention to her kids. There was no way Keiko was telling any of them how she became a hybrid until they were adults. Even so, she dreaded the day she'd eventually have to tell them that story.

Ulla nodded to Keiko. "Xerneas warned me about this...coming from a land of peace. I can feel emotions way too much." She said as she ran her hand through her hair. She looked at Yuna, the innocence of a mere child. And the for sure love she has felt all this time. She knows that is real and true. There is no doubt about that. "But. Being with my family made the noises go silent." She smiled as she looked at Keiko concerned. "How is Papa? How are you? Do you need any medical aid Mama?"

Looking at the rooms, Reno would grumble under his breath before sending a quick answer back to Darts and Blizz. 'So....bad news. Rooms are ransacked and also under guard. So no letting Ogerpon blow off steam in one of them. Any other ideas? Cause my next idea is the workshop and I almost guarantee that place has been stripped bare and is under guard.' Despite his own dismay over the possibility of it, Reno would find himself continuing through to locate the workshop area to see if this would prove out.

Rome would chuckle at Crystal's sudden sense of embarrassment over her question, taking a small breath of relief. "Mostly the time. I....get the feeling circumstances were not exceptional for it during my time before the Ziton, but I fear that too much thought to determine that would burn me out." Staring down at his slowly fading chest, Rome would look back up towards Crystal. "Probably got time for one more exchange here. Anything else I can do to satisfy your curiosity or attempt to help you out?"

Keiko smiled as Ulla explained one of the side-effects of being in the Fairy Realm as long as she had. "I guess you have that in common with your Papa now, huh?" she pointed out before letting Ulla finish. 'I"m fine, thank you. Terashi did a good job of patching me up before this all happened," she explained, remembering how Looker was also concerned for her health. She wasn't about to correct the man that held the lives of her friends and family in the balance, though.

Reno Vantas
Rome would chuckle at Crystal's sudden sense of embarrassment over her question, taking a small breath of relief. "Mostly the time. I....get the feeling circumstances were not exceptional for it during my time before the Ziton, but I fear that too much thought to determine that would burn me out." Staring down at his slowly fading chest, Rome would look back up towards Crystal. "Probably got time for one more exchange here. Anything else I can do to satisfy your curiosity or attempt to help you out?"
Crystal would give a small smile at Rome's response. "Fair enough." Then his comment about how much time he had left would elicit a sigh, with drooping ears to go along with it. So, yeah, definitely not enough time to get out and contact Reno. "I... I think I would have to get my thoughts more in order faster for me to be able to ask something. I'm still trying to get my head around what you've said. So, I think what I'll go ahead and say, until next time, alola Rome."

With a sigh, she'd let go of her focus on Rome and let him fade away, leaving herself alone in her head once more. She didn't completely understand what had just happened, other than she just spoke with the memory shard of someone named Rome after Reno left. Pacing, her amethyst eyes scanned the sky, trying to figure out what to do. "Back to figuring what to do... The next step." The pacing would stop as she turned her gaze straight ahead. "That... probably needs to be actually make contact with the outside world." Crystal would look down at her hands, still lavender furred with golden fingernails. She pulled her tail around her to see how the ends of the fork were both like her Solgaleo tail, fading back into purple toward the base. And her braid contained the colors of her hair out in reality as well. Despite her form apparently trying to keep her Espeon hybrid form, the Solgaleo still bled through. "Yeah," hybrid sighed, closing her eyes, "I am supposed to be a Solgaleo hybrid, aren't I?" Snapping open her eyes, they would have shifted colors, now with a light blue sclera and pupil, and a white iris. "Let's try this again."

Odd watched as Keiko and Ulla exchanged a few words, giving them the moment as he thought things over while Aile went to talk to Blizzard and Darts. 'You know, the thing that gets me the most is how they act about us while they have Kess on their payroll." He finally announced. "They're convinced she's reformed despite her being part of Ein's entourage and that we're a collective of hardened criminals with crimes worse than anything Kess ever did. That's all I got out of my exchange with them."

Tsuki the Lunar Wind

"It won't be necessary to involved Director Clavell. The director has an academy to run, just as I have an investigation to run so if you would please cooperate we can all get through this much quick. Also, mister Tsuki, if you think we aren't operating on level, so to speak, know this; the way all this is going is us being lenient. There are powers that people which would have much rather put all of you behind bars without question. As for a trial...well, let's not get ahead of ourselves." Looker said as he flipped through some papers in Tsuki's folder and settled on a single sheet.

"Do you recall the Zhelat Comet? Perhaps Snagem's breaking and entering of the Mossdeep Space Center around that time? Maybe the Stone Society and their demise? What can you tell me about all that? Because according to my records this all went down during your first stint with Team Snagem. There is still a lot of unanswered questions around those events. Before certain parties were willing to let some of these transgressions go, mostly because of all the good will Snagem earned in combating the Shadow Virus. However recent events have required us to brings these proverbial skeletons back out of the closet." Looker said as he began to lean across the table.

"If you can provide me with any information of substance, mister Tsuki, I can have any possible charges against you dropped as almost anything you might face would be the result of actions partook as a minor. Please, mister Tsuki, let us help you return to your normal life." Looker said.

Oh, that was… bad. It wasn’t their being sanctioned that was being in question, it was all of the loose ends despite it. Bigger fish wanted Snagem off the table, probably out of fear for if the group looked into whatever they had going on he’d think bitterly. That, or some older loose end was trying get revenge by playing the system. Tsuki supposed it didn’t matter yet, until he brought it up with Reno or Sub all he could do was scrap together whatever information he could. Keep them talking, keep them asking, and don’t go out of your way to clarify things unless they asked. Whatever followup questions they did offer up would give him a better idea of what they wanted.

“Ah, the Stone Society. That’s a name I haven’t heard in a loooooooooong time. Well- what are you looking for? Those people were brainwashed by some alien in the broken shards of the meteorite that the comet left, but we beat them and stopped the thing from doing that to more people. I believe it was some Cipher goons that pulled the thing outta orbit.” Tsuki explained, trying to leave threads for the detective to pull without giving away too much. Even if he didn’t remember everything in great detail, it had been years and he was a little kid when that went down, he could stillcrecall enough.

“And this is my normal life, Looker. Save that offer for Keiko and Ter or Lykas and Odd.” He said back towards the man. They all still had babies to take care of and a chance at normalcy for them that Tsuki knew he was never going to get back anyway. Even if he wasn’t charged with anything and sent away, where would he go? To the aunt and uncle that resented him? The grandfather that blamed him? “The only thing you could offer me anyway is the location of any remaining Cipher agents.”

"Some Cipher goons pulled it out of orbit you say? That's...interesting..." Looker said, eyebrow cocked as he listened to Tsuki, writing something down as the boy continued, Looker appearing to have checked out after the 'pulled out of orbit' bit. "I think that's going to be it, mister Tsuki. You're free to go...or rather free to roam the HQ. Please don't leave the building. Agent WHITE?" Looker said, looking towards the towering man at the door. WHITE would open said door and stand off to the side as he waited for Tsuki to leave. Once the boy was gone Looker would address WHITE once more. "Bring Freth next."

-----

Freth would eventually find herself sitting in the chair in front of Sub's desk, escorted there by the eyeless helmeted man and his Type: Null. Once she was seated and the door to the office was shut Looker would begin to question the hybrid. "Miss Freth, hope you have been well. If you don't mind I'd like to get right to the questioning." He said, opening a folder labeled for her. "I'd like to address the most obvious question and that is what happened to you? Our records indicate that you were once a Kantonian Articuno hybrid like your husband and then some time ago you reappear as the Galarian variant. Care to explain the change and why it seems to coincide with a noticeable Ultra Energy signature that to this very moment still persists?" Looker asked Freth before turning his attention to WHITE and Type: Null. "My friend and his Pokemon over there has a sixth sense for these things, you see."
PostPosted: Sun May 18, 2025 6:54 pm

Freth had been sitting in the STR the entire time, and noted the fewer people that were in here. It was nerve-wracking. No one had made a move this entire time which was upsetting. No daring escape, no last stand, no nothing. It left her to question if they were all that cornered. And there was no telling what was happening to everyone else. It did leave her to wonder, now that she thought about it, what of the Snagems that weren’t around for the moment. The few straggling Snagems that weren’t in that volcanic cavern or here when it got raided, like Aden or Tristen.

She’d then perk up when she herself got harkened to the door by Agent WHITE. She sighed, then looked towards the mirror for a second. Eris, there where Freth sat in the reflection as far as what she could see, only could see her was making a resigned shrug, looking towards WHITE herself. She’d then look towards Doc Owl, then Sub, then everyone else who remained in the room, then finally stood up to make her way for the door. She was lead off away from the STR and off towards Sub’s office. Only briefly seeing as she passed the kitchen where I had been sitting for this past while now. I couldn’t help but to sigh myself, having to bite my tongue and bide my time, trying oh so hard not to do anything stupid, trusting that she would be okay.

She’d find herself eventually in Sub’s office, also noting how this place was stripped down to its barebones, made for a makeshift interrogation room. She’d sit down, in the chair and crossed her arms, taking note to Kess, Essentia, Looker, and WHITE who had apparently taken post by the door. No one that she was able to fight.

“They wasted no effort, that was for certain. The headquarters is only a shell that it once was.” Eris stated to Freth.

“No kidding.” Freth replied back. “Hopefully I can try to figure out what got these people after us, if Blizzard hadn’t done so already.”

“Well, if the look on him was any indicator, he almost looked as forlorn as when I nearly killed him in Galar. He is not having a good day.”

The mental conversation would cut out with each other when Looker spoke up to them. Freth tilted her head in confusion when Looker asked her about why she was the Galarian variant that she was now and it left her to wonder just how much could she let on about it? Weirder still…

“Wait, a sixth sense for Ultra Space signatures? I’d believe it if he was anything like Crystal or Nocturne…though maybe…I don’t believe WHITE can, but I do believe that Type:Null could have done it.”

“The what?”

“Type:Null, that Pokémon the big guy has. They’re supposed to be Ultra Beast killers. Emphasis on ‘supposed to be’. They weren’t that good at their jobs. Then again, I suppose when you model something that was inspired by Arceus itself and expected to even have a fraction of that power, the heck do you suppose was supposed to happen.” Eris exasperatingly said.

“So, what do I do with this? Just tell this guy? Even when you think about it, you trying to take me over with sheer psychic power alone and converting me like that is a little surreal.” Freth said.

“Try to tell him enough. We got to see what he knows.” Eris said.

After that mere blink of a second the conversation between Freth and Eris transpired, Freth would reply to Looker. “Blizzard was attacked by someone from Ultra Space during the Galar Tournament a while back ago. Nearly killed him. It was a Galarian Articuno hybrid. I ended up saving him at the last second. Provided how much Galar didn’t scrub the tapes on that, you probably know full well about that. The story didn’t end there, apparently. Shortly after killing Blizzard’s attacker, probably in…maybe…a month? After that incident? Ended up with a massive headache, unusual fevers, at first. Ended up in our med lab for a couple of nights. Started cramping and then apparently a sudden transformation happened that nearly killed Doc Owl and Blizzard again with psychic power. Came to that next afternoon seeing what happened. We’re assuming that attacker did something…like make me into a proverbial psychic time bomb to try to kill Blizzard as a last gasp at him.”

“Psychic…time bomb?” Eris asked, rather deadpan.

“The hell else would you call it? And besides? It was in fact a last gasp at you taking him out at the time. What, tell them that you’re roaming around in my head still?”

“Fair enough.”

“We’ve guessed that Ultra Space things was involved, mostly of stuff that happened after the fact. Like the Ultra Beast that ended up showing up that we had to deal with literally at our front door.” Freth then said.

No luck on the rooms huh? Figures they would have tried to check on all of their possessions. Luckily for Darts they wouldn't find anything as he barely slept in his room. All that was present in the jacketed Snagem's quarters were old kunai messily organized into various piles, some untoward magazines, and a lot of unread junk mail. "Nothing doing here Reno, though I'm telling you we've got to get her somewhere to blow off some steam and fast, I'm doing the Pokemon equivalent of dancing around with a red hot frying pan in my hands trying to find a sink to dunk it in. Can we get on the roof? Outside? Something?" Reno's assessment of the Workshop would be accurate, there's guards crawling all over the place. Probably more than anywhere else as they pull apart and rudely attempt to dismantle tech that Snagems, Isaac or otherwise, had spent time crafting and honing.

The Giratina hybrid looks up and over at Aile, a little puzzled at the question. "I think someone's mentioned her to me before, whether that be Sub or something I came across in our old files is up for debate. I don't know her, but there's a lot of old enemies of the team before my time or after while I was gone during any one of my number of absences." Darts peeks his head into his coat pocket and actively blows on the ball in there a couple of times, trying to put out the flames of rage he could intimately feeling melting a hole in his pocket. "Shhh shhh shhh...." He croons to his confined apprentice, trying to will the ball to stay closed.
