Recursive Paradox You know, I think someone in the witchcraft thread may have been putting out feelers to see if I would mentor her in Etherism a few pages back. o_O I thought she was just asking hypotheticals about whether I would teach about it in the future or mentor people in it. But now I'm not sure. And she's asking even more in depth questions than Wyndy is. I feel slightly uncomfortable with the idea actually. You don't have to mentor them if you don't want to. It'd depend upon how you view your faith and how you view the one attempting to be mentored. Is it the idea of mentoring that scares you or is it that you're not sure you could trust Etherism being put in the hands of this other person?

Also: Cu, awesome tat. I've been trying to figure out what kind of tattoos I want. I've been thinking of getting tattoos to honor some of my spirits, especially ones that I've known for a long long time.

It's so hard requesting time off for religious holidays that last more than one day.
It's almost like the idjits can't understand that it is more than the day, it is an entire series of events that must be done.
So used to market holidays with their nice neet packaging, custom designed to accommodate business.
The same sort of shocked and appalled look that I am given when I suggest that the world didn't end, and would have continued along alive and well, even without cel phones.
They get so caught up in the unimportant, they ascribe urgency where none is needed.
It's like the entirety of their world is built upon the illusion of significance.

There are two extremely amusing things about working after hours inventory prep, when you have a boss who likes to play his iPod over the store speakers.
1) Something about counting boxes while listening to "You Sexy ********" just makes me laugh.
2) We also had the speakers hooked up to some Satellite radio, and left it in the store for the next night. The day manager then turned it on with customers in the store. She didn't notice what station we had on...
So with several people in the store, on comes the uncensored comedy channel. With a comedian that was talking about Porn xd
