Nintendraw Intoxicated Apples Nintendraw Sweet Heartless Riku Consider it done. -salutes Captain- You two seem so evil right there. Why'd y'all kick Myzari's character? I thought (s)he was out due to back problems! Or has (s)he had too much time to recover? Are Fang and Lycan really dead?? I'm not exactly kicking them out to be evil. If they truely want back in, all they have to do is ask. Though I haven't seen Lycan on all all and I'm on gaia every single day. Fang's been gone aswell. Crystal has been having issues from what I read on the status when she is on. Myzari's back problem is not the reason I kicked her either, it was so I can clean the guild up for those who are behind and if they want to come back they can. I know she's been having issues too. But clean up still took place from those who haven't posted since the 5th/6th months. I would ban myself but without Gold, I couldn't even post as Silver. You could always move Silver to us? We are in the middle of a battle right now, but if Riku loses his Minun, you might be able to jump in. mmmmm....Good idea XP. I'll get a post up for that.

I was slightly OCD/paranoid and saved the profiles for those who got kicked, so yeah, they just have to ask. And if they do want back in, I am readily available to send their profile to them. I have literally saved every one, except those that are still playing. I haven't, however, saved the Journal entries, and it's too late to retrieve them. Those would have to be replaced by the proper peoples.

Suggestions/Questions for the Battle System: Never-Miss moves (ie Mind Reader) would make every number a hit, or make dice-rolling unnecessary for the following turn? Moves like Focus Attack would add CritHit (Atk * 125%) status to the next attack and is nulled if Pokemon doesn't attack that turn. Moves like Agility move a Pokemon up in the attacking order or translate to Evasion? Moves like Double Team subtract numbers from the hitpool for all Pokemon targeting the affected Pokemon until switchout or KO? Delayed moves (ie Solarbeam, Razor Wind...) are dice-rolled when the attack is announced or when it hits? Delayed-effect moves (ie Future Sight, Perish Song) will hit after X turns. Defense moves (ie Protect, Reflect, Light Screen, Magic Coat) nullify attack damage/half physical/special damage. Copycat moves (ie Copycat, Snatch, Mirror Move) use the next Poke's (targeting the user) move/diceroll. Random-effect moves (ie Metronome, Assist) use owner's party moveset, participants' parties moveset, or any move? Is that move chosen by the user or by diceroll or by random number? Item loss/consumption moves (ie Bug Bite, Knock Off) depend on whether that move hits? Moves like Pursuit deal more damage in the appropriate setting? Fleeing is also dependent on a diceroll with 5-10 numbers meaning success. Trap moves/abilities (ie Mean Look, Arena Trap) nullify fleeing. Are elemental moves affected by weather? (ie Hydro Pump in Rain) Stat-boosting items (ie King's Rock, TwistedSpoon) boost the stat same as the moves/more/less? (Gen4) Weight items (ie Iron Ball) slow Poke down. Decreased priority moves (ie Vital Throw) attack out of order and require prior notification. Absorb-damage moves (ie Bide) still do double damage received and still hit/miss based on the normal hitpool. Self-damaging moves (ie Body Slam, Hi Jump Kick) hurt the user based on whether it hits/misses the enemy. How much damage? 'Pause' moves (ie Hyper Beam, Rest) disallow dice-rolls for the next turn(s). Gradual stat moves (like Rage) increase (Atk) less (+1 every hit) but always increase it until Poke faints? That's a fat paragraph for stat conditions. You might wanna split the paragraphs for side-effect stat moves and stat-only moves respectively for readability. Or just keep the stat-only moves on the same, normal hitpool? (What are the chances of getting [Burn] from Ember?) Sharp stat moves (ie Swords Dance) increase (Atk) twice as much as other stat moves. Transforming Pokes can only turn into the Pokemon in play and/or all Pokemon equipped on all participating Trainers? Stat-disallowing moves (ie Worry Seed) make appropriate stat conditions impossible?
That's all I can think of for now. And I've always wondered: exactly what does Uproar do? Make it impossible to sleep? And what about Magic Coat? HP Recovery moves are always 100% hit, but how effective are they? (Do they all restore half the damage dealt to the target?)

HP Recovery moves are always 100% hit, but how effective are they? (Do they all restore half the damage dealt to the target?) Well... Hmm... this is something to think about. Uproar does damage, as well as the side effects of waking all currently sleeping Pokémon, and preventing sleep as a status. I've always had trouble with Magic Coat, but Serebii does explain it: It says that Magic Coat reflects back moves like Leech Seed and moves that affect status (ie: Attract, Leer). And yes, HP recovery moves have a 100% success rate (except for attacks that are dependent on accuracy, ie Leech Seed, Drain Punch), unless the Pokémon is confused or paralyzed, the effectiveness is at a baseline of 50% max HP, but are as follows: Recover: 50% max HP, always Morning Sun: 50% max HP (baseline) In sunny weather: 75% max HP In rainy weather: 25% max HP Moonlight: 50% max HP (baseline) In sunny weather: 75% max HP In rainy weather: 25% max HP << I think Nintendo got lazy >> Absorb, Leech Life, Drain Punch, etc.: 50% restored from damage inflicted upon opponent, always heals at least 1 HP. Leech Seed: Heals based on damage dealt to opponent (ie: if 10 damage done, 10 damage is healed) << Possibly about 1/16th of max HP of afflicted Pokémon >> Ingrain, Aqua Ring, etc.: Heals 1/16th of user's max HP each turn. Shell Bell (Item): Restores to user 1/8th of damage inflicted upon opponent. I think there's more, but I'm lazy and not in the mood to look it up... but I've basically summed it up.

Yes but earlier Zyga took 26 damage by a return attack from espeon. Unless I'm reading wrong. It HP was supposedly 74/120

If I remember right, Return and Frustration are indeterminate-damage (power --) moves. How is damage calculated for them?

Nintendraw If I remember right, Return and Frustration are indeterminate-damage (power --) moves. How is damage calculated for them? Both are based off the Friendship level between Pokemon and Trainer. Thee higher the level, the stronger Return is and vice versa for Frustration. In all honesty I'm kind of guessing as to where Espeon's Friendship level is, but it's an educated guess that it would be in the late 70's. Based off the formula to calculate power, that should be around the 30's, and 75% of it would be about 26. It's been a while since i did that calculation.
