Oh you could hear the scream all the way down the hall. That b*****d Moira was going to pay...he didn''t know how yet but he was going to. Son of a b***h. First dart him then mess with his damned hair. Jelena would get heat too, she probably put him up to it. Erik, banged a fist on his bathroom counter and stared again at the imagine in the mirror. Pity it wasn''t a nightmare. Hell for everyone today, just hell. No nice Erik...and Jelena could get her own damn coffee and breakfast this morning...besides she was taking the day off. Yeah? Well he was taking the week then.


James came to learn that Jelena slept in the oddest positions sometimes. Not to mention that she babbled in her sleep. Mostly numbers and big words, then making up equations that didn''t even make sense. Science on the brain it seemed. But the more the night wore into day the quieter she got, as was usual.

Now she lay in peaceful slumber, no show of movement save for the occasional cringe at pain. Brain was already registering that for her and it would be sure to let her know exactly how much she was supposed to her when she fully woke up. A moment which happened exactly....now. She stirred from her sleep, brow creasing as she groaned. Oh hell that was some major pain.

Still pulling from the realms of sleep she was vaguely aware of James still in her room, and thus a little startled when he came over and hold of her hand. Shaking off that sleep finally, her eyes fluttered open and she looked at him a moment as if trying to recognize him. Boy was she ever strange in the morning.

And thus she sat up with another cringe. Okay...whole right arm shot. Though it all slowly registered. "Skip the meds...jsut kill me now." Yes, she was usually good with pain...didn't mean she didn't exaggerate her attitude about it." A blink at him. "Did you actually stay all night?"

Muffled frustrated cursing was head out of her door then. The sounds of Erik fumbling with the code to her room several times over, his bad mood making it difficult. But finally the door let him in and he barely stepped in, pointing a finger at James. "You b*****d. You think being her boy toy give you some license to screw with me. I think you want to re-evaluate that."

Now a harsh look to Jelena. "And you just put him up to things all the time. But you know what, two can play this game Dr. Trevale, mark my words on that. Oh and by the way...I'm taking the week off!" With that said, he stepped from the room, walking back down the hall with angry mumbles.

"You'd be surprised. When Erik wants to hold a grudge he can and will." True, Erik was docile as they came but screw him over and he was a force to be reckoned with. But she put that from her mind for now and just chuckled. "What on earth possessed you to do that to the poor man? You men, I swear."

Now attention to herself as she pulled up the sleeve of her over sized shirt. Nice bruise circling her shoulder. No wonder it hurt so bad. Letting her sleeve fall as it may she turned her attention to her less bothersome forearm....oh she would be sticking a pencil down that cast soon enough. Then a light almost patronizing laugh. "Some date I'll be."

"A toaster..." Okay, that right there had truly baffled her. She had totally been left in a state of wonderment over that one simple statement. "A toaster?" Jelena was trying to fathom that image, which wasn't too hard for her brain and sure enough gave her a giggle fit over it. Toaster.

Though she sobered as she looked to him and he called out her thoughts. "Oh but then I'm going to get bored. I'm the type of person who needs to work, needs to." Truth be told Jelena probably hadn't taken a true day off in the last year and a half. But then a look over to the said little kitchen area. It surprisingly wasn't as trashed as the rest of the room, mainly because she never visited the area.

"Well...it's still in good working order I suppose, perhaps a little dusty. But you won't find anything in the cupboards to cook with. I don't think I've stocked that place up in months. Though I think there is a piece of cheese in the refrigerator."

She looked down to her ankles, her mouth opened slightly in almost another doubt if disbelief. "Hey....wait now..." A tug with her leg at one of the restraints. Wow this was certainly a new thing she had been put in. "James!"

But he was already gone, leaving her tied to her bed. She huffed and crossed her arms. He couldn't at least let her get up and get dressed first? Didn't trust her to go take a shower or anything at all? Needed to wash her hair...Another frown and a sigh as she surrendered. "Men."

What was she doing by this time? Trying to break those straps he had tied her too the bed with. Of course with only one arm to work with...she wasn't getting anywhere fast. This was unbeliveable...really...what it the cruiser suddenly needed to be evacuated for one reason or another...there she'd be, tied to her bed.

Giving a look of displeasure to the offending straps she sighed and was at that point where she was going to surrender again. Note to self...do not piss of James when he has something around him that he can use to tie you down. And seeing as he was a military man....damn it.

"Well I start my mornings with showers. I think you would of been back before I even finished, Speedy." Leaning over she rubbed at her ankles with her good and then slipped out of bed, stretching lightly with an accompanied cringe. Then she watched him idly as he went about stocking up her kitchen...pity most of that may go to waste.

"Um...no. I've forgotten how old it is." Just to be safe. With a yawn she headed over to her dresser, pulling out some clothes for the day. "Like I said, I'm taking a shower." Where upon the statement she made her way to the bathroom. "No peeking." And closed the door.
