Dark Bunny Lord It looks like it might be right, but I can't check all those numbers. What is "Phaeton Yamanaka - Mind's Eye..." I looked for it in your prof and couldn't find it. Anyways if you did use 1 base jutsu + 1 item buff + 1 jutsu buff + innate buffs then your good. (note you don't need either buff you simply can't have more than those listed, just want to make sure people aren't thinking you NEED 1 jutsu and 1 item buff to do a check, rather they're just optional). As for Step 2, you do get to add all clan buffs, so yes you'd get +150 (100 from Hyuugan sight and 50 from tracking bugs). I'm not seeing the glasses on your prof either... at best I can assume your just using them as "made up" for the example. Note they'd need to buff awareness, they're actual accuracy wouldn't be used if they weren't the "base". (remember only the base adds it's level, everything else only adds specific buffs on the effect). Step 3 I again, can't confirm, because I can't find that Jutsu/Item anywhere. I'll continue the assessment once you tell me where that can be found. On Phaeton i am doing a guess on what he does, he mention searching with his Mind's eye and putting his glasses on, here are the items and the jutsu Yamanaka PhaetonName: Glasses ---Ryo Cost: 10,000 ---Level: 200 ---Style: Taijutsu ---Accuracy: +400 ---Range: Self ---Uses: 100/100 ---Effect: Buff-Accuracy(300)(150pts), Uses(100)(50pts) +300 to all accuracy checks ---Description: You know, for those of us without 20/20....... Rp effect Name: Mind's Eye of the Kagura (Locater/Detector) ---Description: This ability allows Phaeton (and other perception type ninja) to find, sense, and track individuals through their chakra over vast range. This is done by closing their eyes and opening the mind's eye. The ability extends to telling when a person is lying from the fluctuations in a person's chakra made from dishonest emotions or if someone is under a genjutsu. Also by focusing on a particular chakra she perceive its location and movement with great detail. Phaeton can use this to determine a person's location assuming they have come into contact with Phaeton previously, whether or not an individual is lying, and whether or not the individual is subject to genjutsu (though he may be unable to break it).

Ah, to do that though you need the Jutsu. Let's just say your using your Byakugen to search since you don't have the other Jutsu to use, nor do you have the glasses, he does. You don't benefit from other peoples items unless they give the item to you, or it buff's other people. In this case the item buffs the wearer. Similar to how you couldn't see at night if your partner was using night vision goggles.
So I'll do the break down:
---Base Skill Used: "Byakugen"
+5 from it's accuracy
---Base Stat: Intelligence
196(x2) = 392
---Buffs: None
---Innate Clan Buffs:
+100 (Hyuuga Sight), and +50 (Tracking Bugs) = +150
So 392 + 150 + 5 = 547. Or a +54.7% chance on top of your normal 50% chance, this gives you a 104.7% chance.
We then apply the vs of 300 (or -30%)
1047 - 300 = 747 (or 74.7%)
We drop any numbers after the decimal to get a whole % of 74%.
This means you have to roll 74 or lower on 1D100 to succeed.

So in other word my totals for them are right, the problem is that i can't jutsu buff with 'Calm Mind, Clam Spirit', because i already used Byakugan, right?
