(( so sorry i haven't posted in a long time i went away outtof the country and forgot to ask someone to post for me. that sounds good though medicine cats heading up to high stone. Can i just say Cinderheart's leg has been splinted?))

((Yeah. So let's start at around dusk and the medicine cats are leaving their clans. To go discuss the prophecy and ask for guidance from Starclan. And how about we have a gathering soon? The bear could attack in the middle. ))

Jaggedsoul
After apologizing for being gone during Mistyfur's kitting, for about the twentieth time now and mainly to Bloodmint, Jaggedsoul set out to Highstones. He hoped they'd be able to figure out what the vision had meant, and what they were to do about it. What seemed like moons later, the Shadowclan cat finally arrived at Highstones. Being the first one there, he sat around the entrance and waited, mind still brooding.
Moonface
Moonface hurried out of camp, rushing to get to Highstones. She didn't like to keep the others waiting, and figured that most of them were probably already there. She was troubled by what Jaggedsoul had told her, that every medicine cat seemed to have had the same vision with a giant beast wrecking the forest. When Moonface finally made it to Highstones, she was relieved to find only Jaggedsoul waiting. Slowing her pace to a simple walk, she sat with Shadowclan's medicine cat and greeted him. They chatted while waiting for the others.

Silverheart
Silverheart waited impatiently for her apprentice to finish examining Sapphirepaw. "She has whitecough. I think." he meowed with worried eyes as he padded out of the medicine cat den. "Well.. tell Sunbreeze to give her some tansy and catmint. He's helped you enough when he could of been learning to be a better warrior. You aren't leaving me to go alone to see the other medicine cats." she hissed before headed over to the camp entrance.
Goldenwhisker
Goldenwhisker sighed. He knew it was no use arguing with his mentor when she was like this. He walked over to the warrior's den "Sunbreeze!" he meowed. His brother padded out of the den and glanced at him. "How's my apprentice? he asked. "She has whitecough, but we caught it early. Silverheart won't let me stay behind and take care of her. Could you take care of her? She'll need tansy, broage, and catmint. It's all in the stores. Tansy is the one with yellow leaves and smells very strongly. Light doses only. Borage has hairy leaves. It the stuff usually given to queens to help milk. Catmint is easy to recognize, an delicious smell." he told his brother in a whisper, not wanting to cause a panic. His brother nodded and then the medicine cat apprentice turned and followed his mentor to the Highstones.
Silverheart
Silverheart raced across the moorlands towards the Highstones. She saw two of the other medicine cats and slowed down.
Goldenwhisker
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Sapphirepaw has whitecough." he meowed, once he and his mentor finally got to the two medicine cats. His eyes glanced back at camp, wondering how his brother was doing with treating her.

Moonface greeted the Windclan medicine cats. "Oh dear, do you have enough catmint?" she asked, concerned. She had recently found a patch of catmint on a far end of Riverclan's territory, giving her a good supply. She knew Riverclan could spare a few stalks now.

Silverheart glared at Moonface "We're fine!" She then turned her amber eyes to glare at her apprentice and quickly meowed in his ear "Don't give away weakness like that!"
Goldenwhisker
Goldenwhisker dug his claws into the ground and decided to ask the question that had been bothering him for awhile "When are you going to retire to the elders' den?" His mentor glared at him again then took off to sit down a few fox lengths away. "I'm sorry, Moonface. She has never been the nicest cat. We have enough catmint, though if I need some I'll come by." he meowed glancing back over at his mentor.

She checked all of her herbs before checking in with Willowstar to let her know she was leaving to consult with starclan at high stones. on her way out she nodded at whitekit who was hanging around the medicine cat den more and more often. on her way through the forest she came upon some apprentices and their mentors getting some last practice in for the night.

Moonface nodded at Goldenwhisker, knowing how Silverheart could be. Suddenly, a noise caught her attention. She looked up and felt relieved, now they could speak with Starclan. "Greetings Dawnfrost," Moonface called.

Silverheart padded back over to the group. "Can we get a move on? We can't sit here and chatter on all night long." she growled before heading up into the Highstones.

Goldenwhisker dipped his head in apology tot he three other medicine cats and then walked over to Dawnfrost noticing her discomfort. "It's weird at first, but you'll get used to it. It will be better once Silverheart goes to the elders' den too." he meowed quietly to her.

"Everything's fine Dawnfrost, thank you. Jaggedsoul is right there," Moonface said gently before following Silverheart into the Highstones. She decided to keep quiet, lest she said something else to offend the old Windclan cat.

Jaggedsoul's whiskers twitched in amusement at Goldenwhisker's words about his mentor. He had known since the tom had first joined them that he would be a relief from Silverheart. "Come on you two, let's not keep Silverheart waiting," he mewed at the youngest of the cats, voice holding a humored tone.

Silverheart hurried and arrived at the Moonstone first. She gazed at the familiar, shining stone. She sat down and lashed her tail impatiently waiting for the others.

Goldenwhisker sighed and followed after his mentor. "She is such a stubborn furball." he meowed with a shake of his head.

She was anxious for not being a medicine cat for long and already going to consult starclan, she felt better though hearing Goldenwhisker's remarks. She followed along with the group until they came to mothermouth and paused slightly before heading into the pitch black tunnel that lead to Moon stone. Silverheart was the first in the cave that housed Moonstone. Many times before she had heard cats attempt to describe the glowing stone to her and her clan mates but, this stone was greater than any cat could imagine. she felt her fur begin to stand on tip at the sight of it.
