:uses his ego as a shield:
After about the 50th variationof an Earth type badge that Ash recieved, I stopped watching. That Pikachu is actually God in disguise, and will flood all the earth sparing only two of each pokemon.

this was brought up in a conversation between myself and friends. i think the conclusion was made that while they do have appearances that suggest male or female [char series male, pika series male, fairy series female, jinx series tranny], they are asexual. or were, until the later versions.

In the newest games coming out, different genders actually have (subtle) differences in appearances ie bigger butts in insects, extra antenna stocks, different tinges, ect.
Pokeporn makes me laugh. Then cry. Then feel really uncomfortable.

All I know is that in the Red/Blue games, the only ones that had a gender type were the ones that had the male/female symbol next to them... which was only one specific species.
In the show, there's no real differentiation whatsoever, and they all seem rather androgenous.

Originally, there were only two, with their respective evolutions of course, that were designated male and female. The blue rat thing, and the pink rat thing. Which then evolved into a large blue rat, and a larger pink rat. And then finally evolved into blue rat king and pink rat queen.
