That was third grade for me xDDD My mom was a huge TNG fan (She really wants to go to this con where both Patrick Stewart and Scott Bakula will be at... she also obsessed over Quantum Leap xD) and it carried over into DS9. I believe we watched a couple seasons of Voyager before she started not watching as religiously. *personally knows a man who worked fro the RSC for 40 years and he has the phone numbers for/personally knows, Patrick Stewart, Robert(richard I always am confused as to which it is) Rees, Dame Judi Dench, Dame Helen Mirren.....and a whole lot more* *this guy got a CALL from Patrick whilst directing a play for the Festival's summer camps, because Patrick was bored in rehearsal* *yes, he IS British....and a bit of a snob about his Shakespeare, honestly. But we like him anyway* Mhm~ I won't point him out to you.....but he has worked the Shakespeare Festival for years. As part of the tech staff.

I don't know how it is anywhere else in the world, and yes, that is the day he died at least, but in the Netherlands Saint Nick's day is always celebrated on the 5th 3nodding (and the season-appropriate candy is already in stores despite it only being halfway September~ emotion_kirakira )
Fun fact: Your Santa Claus was based off of our (which is to say, the European, because despite it being just a Dutch holiday, I do believe the Saint himself is more widespread) Saint Nicholas emotion_yatta Not that there's a lot of similarities anymore with how much Santa's portrayal has changed xd
