Kraeela Clavy: That's cheating, and you know it. Cheating, or remedying a situation.

Kraeela Scarlet: *glomps* For some reason I missed your bright red hair around here. Scout! Yes, it is rather shiny. @ Alice: I'll do what I can, but my knowledge on poetry is somewhat... lacking. I suppose I can pick a bad one from a good one. wink

alicemae The draft has been updated! It''s just about ready for publishing aside from the votes for the finalists and The Afterthought. Serieve, where are youuu? crying Gah, little success. I made a catchy poem to test out my grotesque freeverse abilities and attract people. Or in the very least digust them, but at the same time grabbing their attention... Lamentations of a Failing Scout
To me this day with much regret, I read your crap and throw a fit. You write and write to no avail, your silly words, they make me pale. I challenge you, though I dare say that you shan''t make the Press this day. This one''s interestingly worded: I find this character very clever. Follow My Lied The angels cried with joy that day God scooped His hand down in the clay and took to forming with that hand the very shape and mold of man. But in that bite of poisoned seed We sought to meet an unknown need which, to this day, goes unfulfilled. And thus we saw warm Eden chilled. Through all that we''ve now understood, An angel''s tears still do no good.

Did you get the author''s permission to use it yet? 3nodding If so I''ll add it to the draft right now. Thanks, scout!

Serieve "The end justifies the means." Reminds me of Machiavelli. When there's no penatly for the means, there's no point to making it harder.

alicemae Sorry for being absent these last couple of days, guys! I usually try not to save everything for last, but I guess these next few days will be crunch time for us. (Gads, I hate the first week of school! Too much to do, too little time, and most of all too many little freshmen stealing my parking spaces...) Do we have any poetry besides the two Kraeela and myself submitted? sweatdrop What happened to all those scouts we hired? *cracks whip* Get scoutin', little ones! Mahaha. orry Miss.Mae its the first week of school and I just started high school and its mildly exhausting. I looked at some poetry a few days ago and asked for permission. poco thinks we should steal the preety little poems and keeps them all to ourselfs ahh ahh yes my precioussssssssSo yea I'll work on it if I can biggrin biggrin biggrin

I guess my abscence has been felt. sweatdrop Sorry.
If you care for excuses, I have two: school and band. Both two very marvelous things I enjoy, but time consuming. Actually, I'm practicing as we speak, so this is actually multi-tasking. And I haven't eaten dinner yet. ^^ But I consider this to be important, and I've never eaten much anyway.
Counting staffie votes (which we sort of need, considering the lack of outside votes, unless you'd care to hold it off yet another month and spend another 30 days begging to an empty thread filled with your own pitiful posts and rants), Dream Away is first. There's tie for second with Squirrels and Ugly Place, but with the tie breaker I made just a few days ago, Squirrels takes second.
Note: Never EVER hold another contest over the summer or toward the end of school again. Never.
However, not counting Staffie votes... 2 way tie for first and second between Ugly and Dream, but a three way tie for third between Mourning, Fallen, and With Me.
Have we started Best of Issue voting? Because there's no way we're going to publish on time. >< Partly if not totally my fault, but... I'm trying! We are trying!
And we'll get there. ^^
