Atlantis_Darts Questions on questions, Darts tilts his head lightly back and forth as he reads the large scroll over again, sighing as he decides how much to tell them and how. "This," He says, rolling the scroll up and hefting it slightly before putting it in his inner jacket pocket, the garment reaching a couple of friendly-looking tendrils out from the inside to gather it and stash it away safely. "Is a summons from the Dragon Clan, a Master Mission for myself. Sounds like they have some kind of meteor they need me to gather...? Take care of...? I don't know, it's pretty usual fetch work for an Initiate. Shouldn't be as big as some of the other stuff they've sent me off on. As for the seismic activity..." The hybrid paused, weighing his words slightly as he tilted his head back and forth again. "I went to Orre at Sub's behest to go find something. I had a feeling that seismic activity would help me go and hunt it down, but.... I had to run off from the academy without being able to come back and get any of this stuff." Pretty clearly the gambler was dancing around the subject, avoiding talking about something in particular. Crystal raised one of her constellation eyebrows, once again her curiosity becoming piqued. "Light burn me, with that happened, yeah. Giant Pokémon powered vehicles, the thing that led me to getting this body deciding to show up to go after Aden this time, and whatever that fungal infection was... And that was all in one day. Wait, did Sub have you leave in the middle of the Paldea stuff, when you also were one of the ones that was supposed to be one of the ones to complete one of those courses? And I do my best to keep my mind closed off to others, for reading or getting invaded myself." Her eyes glaned over at Cera at that bit. "You, at least, should understand at least an inkling of why I'd prefer to keep my mind free of other voices." Crystal would look down when she noticed Apolla shudder, the Espeon also being there that... evening? Day? That whole day just blurred together at some point. Hopefully that was just a trauma thing, and not reflective of her memory getting worse in general. "I won't deny being curious about why you had to leave on such short notice, though," she'd finally say, trying to get her mind off of that day.

Sub would have zoned out while all the people came into the kitchen and did their thing, the man shoveling cereal into his mouth as he stared off into space, deep in thought. Snapping back to reality he noticed who all was here and looked over at Jezebel, giving her a little wave. "Right here." He said, after hearing his name. "Good to see you Jezebel...and everyone else. Man, was I out of it? When did all of you get here?" Sub said with a chuckle as he finished off the last of his cereal. Looking around again he noticed all three of Snagem's 'cooks' were here and putting their culinary prowess together. "You know, I don't think we ever got all three of you together in the kitchen at the same time. This is a treat." He smiled, taking note of Jezebel, Deo, and Brian all being here together.
"Actually, this is as good as a time as ever. Think you three could make me something for a long hike? I need to go visit a certain ruins deep in the mountains and while getting there isn't easy the worse part is food. Sure, when you get there you can find berries and stuff like that but on the way there you'll find nothing. And even then when you do get there you get sick of berries quick, trust me. So I need something that can give me and my Pokemon the energy for such a long hike and also have a long shelf life as I might be there for a long time...or a short time, I suppose it's a matter of perspective." He chuckled softly to himself.
"So, do you think three of you could put your skills together and whip up something for a long trek into the mountains? Maybe of different flavors too. Gotta keep my Dark types happy." He challenged the three of them.

Deo smiled when he recieved the complement as that made him happy, knowing the boss is happy. As for the request, Deo would chime in "I can make some homemade granola bars and I got just the thing." He reached to the top cabinet and reached for the lockbox and opened it, inside was a 5lb pack of sinnoh jerky. Giving a decent handful to put in the box. "Secret recipe" he chuckled. As he put the jerky that remained left in the lockbox, locked it up, and put it back in the highest cabinet. He would then make some sweet candies made from honey from the flowers of Floroma town and some flat bread made from the farms of central sinnoh, great for hiking. Handing him a bag of these ingredients, he then smiled as he asked Brian "Hey, got any poffins for the pokemon of his?"
DING
With that, the meatloaf was done and he got it out to rest and got ready to cut into it, in a few minutes.

In the sorta but not really distant future bubble of the kitchen After a time, the couple of days that had gone past since Aden's awakening saw him able to take brief trips out of the Medlab, if only for the sake of getting him moving around again. Unfortunately, with Doc's help limited to his physical state, he was at a loss regarding much else; as he was, he still wasn't in much shape to try relearning anything and even if he could, what energy he felt was still largely out of whack. But he could- or more importantly, should- at least get something to eat. As he got himself into the kitchen, dressed in a much lighter shirt and shorts than his norm, he'd barely pick up on the others in there as he got to the fridge, his mind clearly elsewhere in the moment. "...ah, here," he said to himself after a moment, getting out a bit of deli meat and a couple of peppers. Something to make a simplistic, but decent, sandwich. As he turned around, it'd finally hit him about Sub and others being here too and he'd shake his head. "Er. Sorry. Didn't mean to ignore you all," he spoke up. "What's going on?"

Brian heard Sub's question, and he had to smirk a bit at the challenge. Sure, he could create something for the occasion. Hearing that Sub was looking for different flavors to keep his Dark-types happy, he had an idea. "If ye can give me a short list of their preferences, I can whip up some Pokemon food specialized for each of yer Pokemon," he said. "And of course, like Deo mentioned, I'll throw in some poffins that are tailored to Dark types, as well."

Jezebel still in her half groggy state looked over to see Sub eating a bowl of cereal. "AAHHHH!" She exclaimed. "OH..." Taking a short breath, "I apologize. I must have been in a spaced out state of mind." Placing her hand on her chest. "It's great to see you again. I hope everything has been going well." Looking at her almost empty bowl of soup. "I have to admit; i feel like i have let you down. I've been a member for a while now; with nothing to show for it. I haven't even unlocked any channeling abilities; much less the channeling itself. Imagined all these plans and adventures. With that, i can't apologize enough." She said starting to tear up. Jezebel looked back up toward Odd, "Blindness? I'm afraid i can't cure that ailment unfortunately." While also waving at the new members joining in the Kitchen area "I can say, it would make a great research project to find ways to amplify one's aura to essentially see better; in a sense one might say." She concluded with a giggle. Jezebel is drawn and consumed into deep thought; blankly staring at her now empty bowl. Looking over at the rest of the room and seeing so many members congregating brings a smile to Jezebel's face. "I can't imagine how all these different paths crossed to form such good friendships. Where do i fit in? I don't even have any powers; only my pokemon to keep me company. Not even a name in these walls. How can i allow myself to sit next to Sub; the head Ringleader of this place. How can i amount to even 1 percent of what he's accomplished; or in their multiple life times he's lived and been reborn it seems like?

"Hi Brian, I'm Monique," the hopeful chef greeted her companion, making a little room. Scarcely had she done so than Sub came to place his order.
Monique sighed. Energy? Protein? Long trip? Sweet rolls were absolutely no good for that. She looked down one more time at the recipe she'd printed out, only to cast it aside without a thought.
"I don't have any recipes, I'm afraid, but I have a Milcery who might be able to help, and I suppose I can follow directions. And if you need a Dark-type taste tester..." She pointed to herself. "I know a lady."

Sub would nod at Deo as he mentioned the idea of granola bars. That made sense, they don't spoil quick and were calorie dense. He would then turn his attention back to Jezebel. "Don't sweat it, it's just nice to see ya around HQ again. Also, don't be so hard on yourself, everyone moves at their own pace." Sub reassured Jezebel. "Heck, maybe you and I can go on a mission together one day, nothing big mind you, just to help you shake off the rust." He said with a smile.
Sub nodded at Brian, immediately beginning to think of what his Pokemon did and didn't like. "Sure, I'll send you a text on your SNAG. Lenore like anything with meat or eggs, but besides those is a savory kind of girl. Anteros is really weird in that she loves anything with mustard. In fact, she could and has eaten just straight mustard. Such a strange Mimikyu, I guess she likes bitter stuff. Oh and Valdemar is the worse, despite only having one brain he likes to eat different things with each mouth and insists on variety. Probably my fault, I do spoil my Pokemon." Sub chuckled to himself as he took out his SNAG and began to type out a text to Brian.
"Oh yeah, you did get a Milcery recently, huh? I remember seeing those things in Galar back when. I guess its appearance upon evolution varies too so it will be neat to see what yours looks like when it evolves." Sub commented to Monique, looking up from his SNAG for a bit when he spoke.

Overhearing the talk of Milcery, Keiko remembered the Milcery she caught in Galar. She still hadn't given it a name yet - she didn't have much time to spend with her Pokemon as of late - but she wasn't watching Yuna at the moment, so she figured now was as good a time as any and let her own Milcery out of its ball. The cream fairy happily danced in the air around her head, happy to finally be out of its ball. Keiko giggled at this, though she did feel a bit guilty of her neglect - she had been super focused on Yuna since the Buneary hybrid baby was born, to the point where the last time she touched a Pokeball was before she married me.
Absinthe, meanwhile, grabbed a seat. The talk of spicy curly fries got her excited for the upcoming meal.

Deo's attention went back to cooking the fried chicken and some curly fries. Spicy wasn't Deo's forte but he could provide. After frying the chicken and frying the curly fries, he sprinkled some Cajun heat seasoning into the curly fries. Making sure the food was hot, but not oily, he then served it with a slight smile to Abby.
The meatloaf cooled by the time he finished serving Abby a meal worthy of a hungry teenager. He sliced up the meatloaf which had peppers, onions, and some garlic cloves. He took his slice and enjoyed it while sitting down at the table.
"Hope you like it" he said to Abby. He also would say "Enjoy some meatloaf, parents recipe."

"Mrow!" A'Capella mewled at Keiko, assuring her she would definitely take care of her human, the Liepard sitting a bit straighter and holding her head a tiny bit higher in pride after that.
Odd saw the shadows swirl within the colorful pop of Jezebel's soul and grimaced at it. He didn't know exactly what was going through her mind but it was clearly something that was affecting her on a deep level for him to be picking it up. "I agree with Sub. Don't compare yourself to anyone else in the team. You'll reach a point in your own time where you can bring things to the table no one else can." He assured the woman. "I'd be happy to go on a mission with you, myself, if you don't mind giving me some time to acclimate. I kinda have a kid to take care of now on top of the new disability so... a lot going on right now." He admitted. "Speaking of... Lykas said he was going to give Libelle a bath and then he'd join us for breakfast so... they should be here soon." He realized, looking around for that familiar pop of aqua in the void that he knew all too well as Lykas. He could see it just beginning to move but where that was, exactly, was still unfamiliar. There also the still-unfamiliar pop of color that he was certain was Libelle with the hybrid so it would appear Lykas wasn't done with her bath just yet.
"Sorry for taking so long. Libelle was being difficult to dress. I never realized babies could be so hard to handle..." The hybrid announced as he walked into the large kitchen, pausing upon seeing the number of people. "Uh... maybe we should take breakfast to-go?" He asked, adjusting the wriggling infant in his arms.
"I'm pretty sure I remember the kitchen being big enough for everyone to eat all at once, even if I can't see it anymore." Odd snapped at him with feigned indignity. "Stay and socialize. Please. Libelle needs to get used to being around other people as she grows up and there are only so many of us here so we should give her every chance we can get." He pointed out, speaking from personal experience. "I'd rather she get more social interaction than I did as a kid... All I had to talk to were the Sisters and Father Clancy."
"Are you... Actually talking about your childhood? Publicly?!" Lykas asked, mouth agape. Odd had never openly talked about his past in front of others before, that he could remember.
Odd paused, thinking for a moment as Lykas walked over, carefully squeezing around others and waving to Sub and Keiko in particular as he did. "I guess so."
"Oh hey! How you been Ginger Tits? Feels like it's been years since you made us a good meal." He greeted the red headed trainer with a goofy but somehow simultaneously lascivious grin, having missed her dip into despondency mere moments before.
"I... Is that any way to speak to a woman while she's clearly upset?" Odd asked, barely stopping himself from an aggressive facepalm as the realization that it would likely cause extreme pain at the moment struck him.

The two were clearly hitting it off, occasionally floating in front of Monique's vision as if to prove it. Perhaps if they started cooking the two of them would really get excited if there were sweet aromas in the air. "Hey, I'm available. Tell me what you want me to do and I'll start prepping. Keiko gave Lykas a gentle but firm slap to the back of the head and, once the hybrid man looked at her to find the source of his newly acquired pain, gave him a stern look that obviously conveyed "be nice to her" before pulling her SNAG out. "I'll tell Terashi to bring Yuna up. Yuna could stand to have some non-Pokemon friends other than just her parents, She didn't say anything about Libelle, but she figured Odd and Lykas felt that Libelle could stand to meet someone her age, and maybe have been looking forward to the meeting of the two newborns. The Milcery dancing around her head unintentionally drew her attention to Jezebel just before it flew off to dance with Monique's Milcery, making her think about what Sub and Odd offered her. "I wouldn't mind joining in if you're okay with it," she offered in turn, knowing she could stand to spend some time with her Pokemon. She also spared a glance at Monique, it being a look of concern. She hoped Monique was kidding about the 'stripper' part; she didn't want that kind of talk being present with one youngling around, and especially didn't want to hear it once her own child arrived.
Meanwhile, Abby thanked the cook of her meal before digging in. The fries were decently spicy - not quite as spicy as Abby was hoping, but the added mouth heat was appreciated all the same. The fried chicken played off the spicy fries surprisingly well, so she couldn't help but enjoy what she had been offered. Not the best meal she'd ever eaten, but it was certainly up there. She knew she'd have to remember where that seasoning was stored for later meals, though she'd try to be considerate and not use up all of what was left of it.
I had just finished and turned in a project I was being paid to work on when my SNAG picked up Keiko's message, so I let Indie go back to her ball and picked Yuna up, who hugged me the second she was in my arms. I was touched, so I hugged her back before Rala spoke up telepathically. "Change of plans?"
Instead of explaining verbally, I just motioned for her to follow me and made the trek to the kitchen Once there, I looked over the crowd. "Greetings," I said plainly with a gentle smile before taking a seat opposite Odd and placing Yuna on the table so she had room to move. I positioned her away from me so she could see Odd and Libelle. "The big guy's Odd, and the little one he's holding is Libelle," I told her. I knew she couldn't talk, and that I might need to reintroduce them later depending on whether she remembered this or not as she grew over, but introducing them properly just felt right.

Monique looked back at Keiko's glare. It took her a moment to try and parse what had earned her such an odd facial expression. Was it the Milcery dancing? No, it couldn't be that. Then it occurred to her. Of course, she's a parent. She filed that away; there were too many cooks and people in the kitchen to explain her life story to Keiko in that moment. It'd have to come some other time.
Shaking off that thought, she started looking through the cookbook for more savory recipes. A recipe for bagel dogs with various dips, including a mustard sauce and a sweet jelly, caught her attention. "Hey Sub... You think your Pokémon might like this? That way they can do different dips and there's still protein in a snack size. I don't even have to make the dips if I can teleport to somewhere that sells things like that."

Brian listened attentively as Sub listed off the things he requested, making a mental note. When he received the aforementioned text, he opened it, nodding at the information, then took out a small notebook he always kept on him for writing down recipes or just random thoughts. He already had an idea of what he was going to make for each of Sub's Pokemon, but hearing that Valdemar, Sub's Hydreigon, if he remembered right, insisted on different flavors might make it a challenge. Still, he was looking forward to seeing what he could do.
Speaking of which, he would need to run tests once he'd finished the first batch of Pokemon food. Since it was being made to the tastes of specific Pokemon, he needed to make sure they would actually enjoy the food, not just eat it because they needed the nutrients. Not only that, he had to take into account that all three of the Pokemon mentioned had secondary types, so it was entirely possible they might have more than one preference, too. He would start with the information that Sub had given him right now, and go from there once he had a clearer idea of what each Pokemon liked and disliked.
Berries and other ingredients, such as meat and eggs, as had been mentioned for Lenore, would have to be carefully considered. Hmm, perhaps he could use powdered meat or eggs for Lenore's portion. Would that change the flavor? Hmm, perhaps he could use dried meat. Actually, ground meat might be a better idea, since it would retain its flavor, and it went well with just about any ingredient. Anteros should be easy enough to cook for, given that she apparently loved mustard. Coming up with something Valdemar might like would certainly be trial and error, but he was sure he was up to the task.
To that end, he started getting out the ingredients he would need first, Lu bringing him a bag that he carried dried and ground berries and herbs in so that he could use what he had on hand. Each batch he was making would take roughly half an hour. The first was simple enough, using ground meat and raw eggs mixed with a few Cheri and one Aspear berry, in an attempt to create a savory flavor, which was then rolled into a ball and fried lightly before being frozen. The second added a mix of diced Aguav and Aspear berries, made into Pokepuffs for easy eating. The final test was something he'd never tried before. He wanted to try something that had a flavor that would become apparent when bitten into, so he mashed Oran berries into a paste before adding diced berries, such as Lum, Magost, and Nomel. He also added a couple extra ingredients with Leeks and onions, and the concoctions were then rolled into a ball and baked. When they came out, he took all the offerings he'd made and plated them on separate plates, then put them on a nearby table.
"Will ye call out the three ye mentioned and have them try these?" he asked Sub. "I'd like to see how they react and go from there."
