Reno would raise an eyebrow in response to Aile's proclamations. "I'm not sure a quiver matters as much when you theoretically can make the arrows out of your left arm. So as much as some training with channeling is a benefit for me, legitimate training outside of it is just as valuable. Just matters how creative you can get with the applications for it." Reno said, giving a few half-handed gestures before looking down and remembering his current lack of left arm. And then hearing Aile's quip, a smile crept across Reno's face. Spinning on his heel, he would defiantly point towards Aile. "I KNEW YOU WERE GONNA BE STEALING MY STEEZ! THE SECOND MY ARM BLEW UP, THERE YOU WERE WITH YOUR OWN FANCY NEW ARM!" Reno shouted, visibly holding back laughter as he attempted to continue on his tirade before simply just bursting out into laughter.

She’d have to keep the arrows idea in mind. Maybe when she got better with the arm, though the bow could still be an issue, having to unstring and restring it. But, maybe it wouldn’t hurt to go through a mission with a strung bow and not worrying about undoing it. There was still the idea of how to stow it, though. Aile’s grin would only grow wider, however, when Reno turned around with his own smile, she herself trying not to laugh. “b***h, I’m apparently just that good at being a thief! Probably won’t be the last time I steal someone’s stuff like that, either!” She herself would break out in laughter though, putting an arm around Reno and giving him a one armed hug. “What do you think’ll be next on the docket for stealing, in that case? Or should steal? I’m sure you’d probably appreciate me not targeting you this time, even if this wasn’t on purpose.” Tati, for her part, was happy and thumping her tail again, laughing a bit herself. Aile was clearly happy now, joking around with Reno and grinning wide. She wasn’t sure when she saw her trainer grin this wide last, but she was happy for it. Crystal relaxed a bit once Darts started laughing, though she let out a small sigh when he explained the scroll. Apolla would look up at Darts before, realizing that she didn’t have anything clinging to her back. Resituating herself, she’d find the Chingling shivering behind her, gently jingling in fear. Oh, how did these Pokémon even survive in the wild? Picking her up by the rope, she laid down and gently brought the baby Pokémon down, attempting to groom the little one a couple times before just resting her head next to Chingling. “Not much. Just confusion of why you need geological maps of the region. Are you looking for someone attempting to create random earthquakes or something? Because that sounds like something the resident earth lady might be able to help with.” Apolla would ask her question, because she also figured Crystal wouldn’t. “I mean, that’s probably more relevant… Though, no, we didn’t look through the large pile, I'm afraid. I figured the weight of all the other mail on top of each other in that pile would keep those from running away, at least.” A grin would show up on the cat woman’s face. “I doubt we’d be able to use most of the coupons anyways.”

"Don't have to tell me twice," Aden said, knowing good and well he wouldn't be getting out of the bed easily right now. After Doc left the room, he'd look to Sol and Tristen. "There's still one question, though. Doc was saying about feeling some kind of pressure from me that hasn't improved?" "I'm not sure if Tristen can feel it or not, but after Reno brought you to HQ, Doc and I could sense a mild amount of pressure building up around you, similar to what Blizzard and I let off. We think it might be related to how you've, as he put it, burned yourself out and we're unsure if it's something that might lessen over time. For now, it won't do much good to worry about it if you can help it. There's other things I should attend to myself, but I won't be far. If nothing else, I'm sure it'll be a weight off Sub's shoulders too. He's been worried sick about the both of you, so he'll gld to know both of you are awake." Giving a nod to Aden and Tristen, he'd take his leave from the medlab too. At least some of his worries were at ease, even as others threatened to crop up. As for Aden himself, he'd let himself fully lay back down with a groan, no more sure what to do now than Tristen probably was. Sure, he lived to tell the tale about the Ziton, but if this was the cost, he hoped there wouldn't be a second round with it any time soon. --- In those few seconds, Cera was pretty sure that this was the day that her soul might soon be ripped to shreds and curiosity might just, in fact, kill the cat(s). A relieved sigh came with Darts' laugh, letting herself ease up with the knowledge that she was safe. Maybe. "...What, and see what the newest way to tell us off is? I saw enough of those and kids asking to catch me after learning I actually have a space for mail," she said after a moment. "And if I see another coupon about Pokemon kibble that's barely formulated for a Growlithe pup, I'm gonna go learn Flamethrower from one so I can burn them myself. The folder Apolla opened had what she said, though. Lots of geographical maps and seismographs, at least for Agate Village. I'm guessing even more in the others, but I don't know what's going on over there to need that kind of data. I don't know what any of it means, so things seemed... normal?"

A couple days later Sub would wake up one morning and stare up at the ceiling, thoughts immediately bubbling to the surface of his mind. He had a lot on his mind lately, between the mysterious Mushroom Man, Malva making moves again, the secret of the Herba Mystica as well as Terastalization and the failed mission he sent Darts on there was just so much he had to focus on or felt compelled to. Sighing heavily as he rose up and turned, now sitting on the edge of the bed. Him getting up however was, like usual, a signal for Allan the Bisharp to walk over and present him with a robe, the man glancing up at the Bisharp and just shaking his head before standing up and putting the robe on. For years now he has tried to get Allan to stop wanting on and protecting him so much but it was a fool's errand, the Bisharp gave itself a job and it was going to stick to it.
"Thank you, Allan." He told the Pokemon who promptly bowed in return, Sub rolling his eyes before turning to turn the light on. The moment the light came on a certain bird in the room would let out their signature 'Nevermore!' from atop their perch in the morning, happily meeting the morning now that there was light. "Good morning, Nevermore." He smiled at the bird, tying his robe before exiting his room. It was time to go take a shower.
-----
Now showered and ready to start the day Sub would find his way to the kitchen, rummaging around for something to eat. He would eventually settle on some sugary cereal, a box of Fruity Tots. After pouring out a bowl full of the fruity rings he would stare at the cartoony Chatot mascot on the cover for a bit. Did they change its design at some point? He didn't remember it looking like that. Then again he could remember when the mascot was first introduced almost fifty years ago, a reminder of his actual age of which his body did not reflect. Casting aside those thoughts he would put the box away and proceed to get the jug of Moomoo Milk out and after pouring some in his bowl he was ready to eat, finding a spot at the table in the kitchen to sit down. "Ugh...mornings." He muttered to himself before taking a bite.

"This," He says, rolling the scroll up and hefting it slightly before putting it in his inner jacket pocket, the garment reaching a couple of friendly-looking tendrils out from the inside to gather it and stash it away safely. "Is a summons from the Dragon Clan, a Master Mission for myself. Sounds like they have some kind of meteor they need me to gather...? Take care of...? I don't know, it's pretty usual fetch work for an Initiate. Shouldn't be as big as some of the other stuff they've sent me off on. As for the seismic activity..." The hybrid paused, weighing his words slightly as he tilted his head back and forth again. "I went to Orre at Sub's behest to go find something. I had a feeling that seismic activity would help me go and hunt it down, but.... I had to run off from the academy without being able to come back and get any of this stuff." Pretty clearly the gambler was dancing around the subject, avoiding talking about something in particular.

The scroll didn't worry Cera much, more than fine to leave its details vague. Maybe a future tale to tell... besides, the seismic thing definitely won out. Sub sending him off for it made sense, it was far from the first time someone was sent out on a solo mission. It did seem like there was more to it, something that Darts wasn't keen on disclosing. Much as she hoped to catch a stray thought that might shed more light, she knew better than to just go around diving into and reading minds without a very good reason. This, even if it might be important, wasn't one of those yet. At least, if it is, Sub would disclose it when it became relevant. The Mew's eyes would narrow, as if staring Darts down before softening her glance. "Well, with what happened at the academy a few days ago, that... might've been for the best. I'm not into reading minds when I don't need to, don't worry. If Sub wants us knowing what you found in detail, we can find out then."

Jezebel walks sluggishly into the kitchen with her Vulpix, Cayenne closely in tow. Walking over to the fridge she finds some leftover soup. Placing it on the counter she goes in search of a bowl and cutlery while also savaging for any type of crackers.
Upon find all the components to assemble a meal; she goes to sit down at the table.
Cayenne started a vocalize protest in wanting something to eat as well. Jezebel gets up and grabs some assortment of spicey berries.
"Here you go little one; my apologies. In my daze i was not thinking clearly."
The two sat in brief silence while eating

Deo walked in (it has been a couple days since the big breakfast) as his tall, strong, hybrid form was hungry, he went and started fixing some delicious meatloaf for himself.
As he put the meatloaf in the oven, he spotted the young woman. "Hey there, haven't seen you around, names deo"

Odd found himself wandering into the kitchen with A'Capella leading the way. She was outfitted with a harness that had a solid handle attached, making it easier for the Ghost Channeler to move around. "You're better at this than I expected you would be." Odd told the large feline with a small smile. "And to be honest... It feels a lot less like coddling than what Lykas was doing after we got back." He admitted with a small sigh. Swiveling his head toward the table, he cocked his head to the side a bit. "There's a soul I haven't sensed in quite a while." He noted, walking toward the table. He got a bit ahead of himself and crashed into the kitchen table, grunting softly as he rubbed at lower stomach, where he'd smashed into it. "Ow.... Still getting used to that." He muttered to himself as he felt around for a chair. "Jezebel, right?" He asked the woman at the table once he found a chair and made sure it was facing the correct direction, taking a seat in it.
She'd find Odd's face to be badly wounded since the last time she might have seen him, granted she actually had seen him before, his once-crimson eyes now a faded pink from damage that had stolen his stolen his sight.
"Mrow!" A'Capella mewled in greeting, sniffing at Cayenne for a moment before the Liepard found a seat next to Odd.

Jezbel's mind was still back in her bed. Her muscle memory acting on what would seem autopilot. Cayenne noticed two other humanoids enter the kitchen paying them little to mind. Until the Liepard walked up and started sniffing at when she got sightly defensive. Jezebel with what energy she could muster looked out to see a Liepard. Questioning where it came from she looked up to see the other two in the room with her. With a "Light are on; yet no one is home" look of a blank stare. She groggily smiled and said "O-oh. Hell-o." She lets out a large yawn. "Ohhhhhhh. Forgive me. It seems like everything but my body is back in bed." She replied with a even bigger stretch. "I'm Jezebel. I've recently gotten back from a mission. Felt like i've been gone for years." Taking a another bite of soup. "Please forgive me." Looking toward the pale faced humanoid. "That scar looks painful. Have you gotten into a rough battle recently?" Looking over at the other towering hybrid. "I've been gone a while; sparsely here. I'm usually in the kitchen making snacks, desserts, and entrees for HQ." "The more elite members do not really care for my food. That's okay though. Them being the higher ranks they are as far as power levels to snagem. I'm sure they are more than able to handle themselves." She said with a groggy smile. "None the less; i still try to have food, snacks and powerbars ready for anyone that needs them." Jezebel gets up and walks toward the Cabinet. "I wonder if they're still here." Rufflling through the cabinets and draws. "AH! They are." She pulls out some powerbars of various types. "Here's a prototype i remember making a while back. there's a few of each different type. My theory is they slight help boost your energy levels of the type your attuned to the most." She pulls out a larger basket from the bottom cabinet. "These are similar; but in powder form. Again; these are prototypes. I have not informed Sub about this yet to due to the nature of what they are." She sits back down at the table to continue eating her soup. "I was hoping to make a larger more potent batch for when Snagem is called to serious incursions or events.' She swallowed her last bite and let out a deep sigh. "Dont you two dare get my hopes up by saying "These are amazing" or "They work sooooo well" type deal. These are protypes and need to be studies and researched for side effects and benefits. So dont go around proclaiming any miracles got it!" She said with a stern tone.

Brian looked up as someone walked in, a Castform and another Pokemon he didn't recognize right away following her. He pulled up the 'dex function on his SNAG, but before he could actually look up the little Fairy-type, Amber spoke up. "That's a Milcery, I believe," she said. "If I'm not mistaken, those are native to Galar, aren't they?" Rachel turned to look and nodded. "I believe so, though I've heard they're found in a few places in Paldea, as well," she said. At the question of cooking, Brian stood up and made his way over. "I'll help out," he said. "Last time I made anything was in Paldea, so this should be fun. I'm Brian, by the way."

Keiko and Absinthe entered the kitchen as the sun was on the rise. The two were chatting amongst themselves, having just come back from a weightlifting session in the lower levels of HQ. Upon eyeing the small group that had gathered up to this point, Keiko waved at them with a happy smile. "Good morning!"
"Yo!" Abby added, apparently in a good mood today. Unlike Keiko, who didn't have any small entities sharing her personal space, Abby's Pawmi was perched atop her shoulder. The small Electric-type shared in her trainer's greeting with an animalistic cheer of her own.
While this was happening, I was in our room attending to some online-only freelance work and watching over Yuna, who was enjoying being entertained by Rala and Indie.

Odd nodded quietly as Jezebel greeted and introduced herself properly to himself and Deo, who he had only just realized he hadn't greeted due to his surprise at seeing Jezebel. Once she had had her moment, he reached out toward where he had heard her set the items she'd presented down, feeling for them. "Got any in there that are good for Ghost-types?" He asked curiously. "Maybe I'll get lucky and you'll have discovered a miracle cure for blindness while you were experimenting with these?" He joked, thought it was, admittedly, a bit of a hollow laugh. He was still not quite comfortable addressing his new disability quite so directly but ignoring it would only make his distaste for doing so grow worse the longer it went on, he knew.
"As for a battle, yes and no." He replied, reaching down and offering A'Capella soft scratches behind her ears. "We went to Paldea for a short vacation and wound up being coerced into attending the local boarding school for a bit. The tail-end of our stay involved an attack on the school by some local bullies and I got caught up in a bit of self-inflicted friendly fire while helping to deal with them, to explain in the simplest terms." He explained in as little detail as he could. Probably best to keep it simple for the moment. Jezebel could find the full details of the mission in GRAY's archives later, if she needed or wanted to find out what she'd missed. The Channeler was fully aware GRAY kept detailed records of every event that went down within the team, as best he could, at least.
"By way, good morning, Deo." He greeted the large hybrid with a small wave. The hybrid's soul was equally as large as his physical form, if Odd had to guess, the pop of color that told him Deo was present seeming to take up a much larger space within the empty void of his vision than Jezebel did. It was at that point he would finally take notice of several other pops he had somehow missed. "Jeez... I must have been surprised to see you in here." He joked at Jezebel's expense, laughing softly. "How did I miss so many people in here?" He wondered aloud.
"Mrow?" A'Capella questioned. That was a very good question. She'd been focused on making sure her human didn't crash into anyone or anything so she hadn't really seen how many people there were, either, just that none of them got in the way. "Mrrrrr." She purred loudly as Odd continued scratching at her ears, laying her chin on his thigh as he did.
He'd offer a wave to Keiko and Abbey as they entered the room. "Oh! Lykas is finally letting me walk around on my own." He informed the Lopunny hybrid, pointing to A'Capella at his feet. "On the condition she comes along as my new guide Pokemon."
"Mrow! A'Capella chirped, perking up and appearing "on duty" like a responsible service cat.

Seeing more people come in, Deo would start by getting chicken and frying some up. Grab a poffin for electric types made by Brian and set the table for a lunch and maintain the watch over the meatloaf to make sure it isn't burnt.
"Glad to see new and familiar faces. Also, Odd, ouch that injury. Keiko, how's the young'un. Also Abby, french fries or curly?" He would start chipping in as he focused more on the here and now, and avoid thinking about the chaos the team is known for.
He would turn to Brian and ask, "Got any new poffins?"

"That's great news!" Keiko cheered, happy that Odd wasn't sulking due to his new disability anymore. Upon mention of a guide Pokemon, she noticed A'Capella and gave the Liepard a gentle rub between the ears. "You're doing good work. Take good care of him, okay?"
"Good to see you back on your feet," Absinthe smirked at Odd. She wasn't as close to Odd as Keiko and I were, but she knew he was in a relationship with Big Brother Lykas, so she saw him as a decent brother-in-law. Though, to be fair, she hadn't really taken the time to get to know him - it had been a while since she talked with Lykas, too, for that matter. Her attention was quickly grabbed by Deo, though. "Curly one hundred percent! Love me some spicy curly fries!" she cheered, letting her freak flag for spice fly. Despite being a teenage girl, Abby could down food so spicy it could bring grown men to tears.
"Yuna's fine," Keiko spoke up, turning her focus to Deo. "She woke up hungry, so she's already been fed. Terashi offered to watch her so I could get a workout in before breakfast," the Lopunny explained. Her gaze would shift again, however, landing on a face she hadn't seen in a long time. "Jezebel?" she asked, unsure if she recognized the human woman correctly. She hadn't seen Jezebel in forever, and a LOT had happened since the last time they talked.
