Well, you can all start celebrating now, I'm back. After an unfortunate event concerning the disappearance of me, I've finally returned and settled in to a new house.
One could say... "reporting for duy."

Kraeela Blah. My throat is driving me crazy, and I've got these dizzying headaches, but I'm a workaholic. So here I am. I had originally been trying to put together this blue and white, blue buttons on the left side, and a simple white background for the text. But I scrapped it -- too boring. SO I dug up some old stuff I did with friends. Ooh, nice! I like the "A Touch of Class" the best, I think, though maybe with a different font. Also, the paper-looking feel one is nice too, but I think the colors are too neutral for an entire site. So my vote's going to the first one! P.S. Nice to "meet" you finally, Kraeela! Hehe, is this the picture you want for our Staff Spotlight next month? 3nodding

Sorry for being absent these last couple of days, guys! I usually try not to save everything for last, but I guess these next few days will be crunch time for us. (Gads, I hate the first week of school! Too much to do, too little time, and most of all too many little freshmen stealing my parking spaces...) Do we have any poetry besides the two Kraeela and myself submitted? sweatdrop What happened to all those scouts we hired? *cracks whip* Get scoutin', little ones! Mahaha.

So far we have a two way tie in our contest for second and third place. "The World is an Ugly Place" and "Squirels" are the two tied. I bumped the contest thread to see if anyone else would vote, but I'm doubting it.
So this is a heads up. Before publication, I think the staffies should have a vote between the two to see who gets second place. After that, we put up the winners, send them the money, and we are finished with this despicable contest. 3nodding By the way, I never again want to start a contest just before the summer.

Alice: Bleeerg! College starts tomorrow, and I would be excited and still good for many hours of deadline headless-chicken running, except for the fact that my almost-cured tonsils are back for an all-out revenge. Soooo, I'll be out for the next 2-3 days. Sorry to be doing this just as publishing time rolls around.
Also, since I see the Classy one to be most liked, I'll be dreaming up Press-related add-ons to that style. Don't expect anything anytime soon, though, my head still sends me dizzying and I sound like a frog everytime I talk. Thank you, Mr. and Mrs. Tonsils.
