He takes a moment's pause, playing by ear what he just heard. Finally, he speaks up. "It's very interesting that you're inventing the song of your emotions. I've not got something ongoing with my own self that could be told in such an interesting way."
He moves a paw in a circle across the floor in thought. "I've experienced happiness, anticipation, sadness, loneliness, bliss, worry, doubt.." He counts off some in his head that he doesn't say aloud. He smiles very awkwardly. "I guess I should feel a bit proud in helping you a bit, there, with your song.. Then again, you don't know if this unlocking could be a good or bad thing, so you might end up hatin' me for it. Not that you probably don't already, by the sounds of how much I hurt you by leaving."

A heavy sigh leaves Aspyn, and her shoulders slump slightly. Not really in despair, but more of a blank confusion. "'Interesting,' you call it," she says to him. "But I wonder sometimes, why would my mind do that to me? It's almost like I didn't invent it, that it's been there forever." Falling silent, she smiles a bit at his last comment. "Heh...don't worry about it Tobes," she says softly, "You came back. See, if you didn't... well, if you didn't, I don't even want to think about what The Song would've done." she laughs, almost bitterly, at the thought.

Hanyuu had heard Aspyn talking to Toby through a crack in the playrooms door. She'd been napping on the couch in there, still finding the bandage on her leg funny.
They'd both gone quiet... Should she go plague Aspyn? The thought of it made her smile, she hadn't seen her friend for a few days... But could she be bothered to get up?

Aspyn was still silent. Everything swamped her head, relief, regret, happiness, grief, but mostly confusion. She settled with just laying on the ground, still akward in her bigger form, so that it came more as a collapse as she forgot that her legs were longer. tucking her head in her forpaws, she just listens to her breathing for awhile.

'Curiosity again... Such a pain.' she thinks to herself as she slips from the couch onto the floor, unfortunately with a thump. She groans as she begins to limply trot off toward the door. Ready to greet Aspyn with a smile, although it was a fairly fake one.
Poking her head through the door she spotted Aspyn led on the ground, looking fairly 'bummed'. "Hey there Asp- Wow.. Look who's all grown up.." she says with shock in her voice as she slips the rest of the way through the door.
