Hey I have a question. I finally got caught up on the site's manga and read the stuff from Halloween several years ago. Is our rp set before or after the Don's possession?
I think I might need to reread it but I'm not sure what happened to Kuro. Is he missing or what?

Answering backwards, to make the most sense:
In the recent manga, the Don did some ritual thing and became the vessel of Nyx for some reason that escapes me right now (something something outcasts). Nyx is occupying his body right now while trading blows with Gino in a duel of epic snowflakery. The official plot's pretty much ******** after this, because what are they going to top this with?
If I remember, the new thread opened when the Don went full hermit-mode to start the ritual. If we decide to just go along with the Horseshit Saga, it'll be a while before all that. We gotta see how it ends, and if the Kuro family is still intact, how Cordell handles it. 100 mil says the Don be dead after this lol

I agree, it feels like they are setting it up to kill him off. I enjoyed learning more about the Kuro's history but I'm not sure if I like where the story is going. I hope they redeem the story line somehow.

Oh, here! It's from the Halloween event...I wanna say 2k12?? Don Kuro is currently possessed by Nyx. He is an outcast god/spirit/I'm-not-really-sure-wtf-he-is. Kuro goes crazy and summons him and, as Maerua said, it has something to do with him trying to break the curse that has been placed on his mother's bloodline (which is most of the gang...I think...I need to reread the chapter).
However this was his first appearance in the "adult" body.
EDIT: Ok, I read the chapter again, Nyx is the youngest son of the goddess Gaia. He was banished to the void after tricking Overseer and Lady Sen into hating each other and thus starting their war against one another. After centuries of imprisonment he managed to contact Don Kuro (or Luca contacted him I'm not sure), who is so twisted with hatred that he believed Nyx could help him lift the curse on his family. In the last chapter they updated on the story line Nyx (in the Don's possessed body) and Gino are fighting. In order for Nyx to pass over completely Gino has to die because apparently Gino is the descendant of a once great titan turned mortal. The titan was humanity's ambition and befriended Nyx. He helped Nyx trick Overseer and Lady Sen. As punishment for his deeds he willingly choose to live as a mortal. He also mentioned that Kuro will not survive the ordeal. His body can't handle Nyx's possession for much longer.
So either Gino is going to die, or by some miracle Gino will manage to beat him but either way....it doesn't look good for Luca.
